It's been 2 months i am chasing them for my sd refund. They are just not responding even after raising multiple tickets (6) and even submitting a review on play store, seems like they don't care. Out 16k they've refunded only 2k and they did give a written confirmation (Ticket no. Cc_[protected] that hat i would receive full refund. Can't call them as their toll free reaches an ivr and there is no response to the tickets and email. Please help me get my refund back.

    I have booked flat in pune with nestaway for rent and deposited the security and token money but soon after the registration, due to lockdown and covid-19, i could not move-in and requested for cancellation. And nestaway assured me to refund my money. But its more than 3 months i am chasing them on mails and phone calls but no update from their end and struggling to get back my hard earned money. Also, there is no point of contact to escalate this issue. So finally i am registering consumer complaint to get my issue resolved.

      The house i previously stayed was off boarded and i was asked to move to another house. I just got only the room key from the owner. The main door smart lock access is not given. I was just given a back up password which will work only till 31st of july 2020. Now no body is responding. I have been calling the area manager but no response. All they did was charged me extra deposit and token amount for making me move to another house no service provided as promised. I had to pay token 2 times and extra amount of deposit.

        Hello nestaway,
        One of my roomate vacated the nestaway house and after that nestaway has conducted move out inspection and they have added 3587 amount to be paid in my dashboard which contains paintings, fridge cleaning, fans, switches and all. I have attached the bifurcation in screenshot. When i asked them that when i came in the house everything was in the same condition and i am living in the same house from last 1yr and inspections were conducted before also but they haven't charged anything at that time and suddenly they have charged me this much amount.
        I have approached nestaway call center people regarding this and asked them for what reason i need to pay then nestaway so called call centre people told me they cannot help me in this and contact area manager for this. When i contacted area manager i have explained the same things and he said to raise sr and send him the sr details so that he can speak with nestaway people. When i have raised the sr and sent the screenshot to him and after that continuous calling him, he is not picking up my calls nor giving answers on my messages and that amount is still getting reflected in my dashboard. I am getting clear your dues messages before 4th july 2020. Can you guys help me on this?

        They have now started charging me fine of 100rs for delay. Area manager is also not picking up call. I want the issue to get resolved asap. I don't know how to reach nestaway people. This is so unprofessional behavior towards tenants. You are just looting money for no reason.

          I moved out from Negendra HC, Mysore nestaway on 5th march, 2020 and haven't received the refund yet. Please help me with this. The amount is Rs. 9000. And the person incharge there is not picking up the calls. I have been trying from months but there's no reponse.

              I have moved out of the house (nestaway property) on 30 June. House inspection was done. As per their policy, the security deposit should be refunded in 7 days. I haven't received it yet. It's been 30 days.

              Also raised a support request and there is no response from support as well.

                There is no point of contact. I am unable to raise move put request and sending them emails again and again still no response. They have also charged unnecessary fine each of 100 rs 12 times a day for 2 days in total 2400

                  The security deposit is not refunded after moving out from nestaway. Bieng customer for 3 years I am not satisfied with nestaway customer care, I have written emails to nest away, still didn't get response from them. And teh promised refund time was 7 working days from teh date of inspection.

                    Hello,

                    We vacated our nestaway rented property in sarjapur road, bangalore on
                    9th july. The total settlement amount was supposed to be 116968 rs.in between the move out date and today, nestaway charged us 16968 rs as painting charges and 22000 rs. As maintenance charges which we paid immediately. However, today, nestaway returned only 78000 rs to us for settlement. As you can see, they double charged us for painting charges and maintenance charges. They cut an addition 38968 rs from our settlement amount on top of what we had paid. Nestaway needs to pay us this differential amount to make things right again.

                      Hey Nestaway team,

                      I received a mail for clearing the dues shown on my dashboard. And in my dashboard it shows 11000 bucks all unnecessary items being charged and asking me to pay out of what? Do you think we students started our careers are millionaires who can pay these nuisance charges?

                      I have sent an email stating the same 2 days back wherein i didnt got any response and proceeding with filing ut in consumer complaint. I attached pictures of my dashboard showing unnessary items charged asking ne to pay before 30th. wherein i asked customer care to justify it, i got no response yet from the nestaway team even after several Service requests and contacting and pleading Property managers in bangalore.
                      I have paid all my dues and valid monthly payments also attached the necessary file attachments and details below and need an immediate action on this from nestaway because i am done raising service requests and tired of contacting customer care.

                      I opted nestaway to ease out my life which nestaways aim claims as. Rather making it miserable. I request you to kindly look into this matter or i will further move to petition with proofs how nestaway is looting the youth.

                        It's been almost 3 months now since i vacated my nestaway house id - 17479, owner name - swastk softmart private limited, location - mumbai and still waiting for my security amount refund.

                        Chasing the nestaway is like hell and nobody is providing response over phone. When i raise ticket they say work in progress. I don't why it is taking too long for this process (Considering the covid situation still this is online work which don't require any physical presence).

                        And on top of that i don't know but some additional deductions while initiating my move out request from there dashboard. When i contacted support team for the move out they asked me to pay additional 1000 rs as agreement renewl charge. And the reason for this payment was their backend system doesnt allow to move out if these system generated charges are not paid fully.

                        Inspection process is completed but refund amount what i have received is 8300 against the paid amount 29100.

                        I followed all rules mentioned in agreement and requested a move-out giving 1-month prior notice before termination of the agreement duration.

                        I called my area property manager, mr satyam tiwari (Phone - [protected]) and area zonal manager mr arun yadav (Phone - [protected]) couple of times and also sent them text messages regarding the issue. But they neither answered my call nor they cared to reply.

                        I want strict action to be taken on this company as we are all facing financial problems due to covid19.

                          I used to stay in nestaway apartment in bangalore.in 17-506, suncity apartments, bangalore. I have given 90000 as a deposit amount when i moved in 2.5 years ago.

                          I vacated my house on 14th july 2020, and they have completed the inspection everything. They have cut the charges for painting (14k) and renovation (999).

                          And they promised that the settlement amount will be refunded in a week.
                          Still there is no response from them.

                          If we dont pay the rent on time they charge 200rs/day as a fine. But here they are not paying us our deposit money. There are no proper customer care service from this company.

                            I checked out the property in March also from the app and paid fully the rent of that month. my moved out date on the app was the 1st of April i did received call then and did confirm my move out date and time. then I waited for 3 months to receive my security money back. during this time they closed their customer care service so I can not contact them overcall. on the app, they deleted my all payment history. in the month of April, the app was showing that I am moved out from the property but in the month of may it again started showing my account but not the payment history. then they started charging me rent; first some 1000 rs as rent then renewal of agreement 1000 rs then they changed my 1000rs rent to 5000 and some and finally when they return my security deposit it was 14907rs less. when I asked for a breakdown. they shared pdf showing April month delay money then July month rent and so on. I mean if it is not harassment then what is?

                              It's almost 2 months now since i vacated my nestaway house id - n3441, name - utsav gupta, location - banglore and still no refund of my security deposit has happened.

                              Chasing the nestaway like hell and nobody is providing response over phone and when i raise ticket they say work in progress.                               It's like i am in complete dark of what is happening as i am not proper and satisfactory inputs from nestaway team.

                              I want strict action to be taken on this as we are also money issue due to covid and in need of this money for my day to day life progress.

                                Lots o[censored]nnecessary charges added to my account. Your call center is closed and support mail id is disabled. Your people harass me over phone to clear all dues till 31st july. I am trying from many days to contact you but nothing revert is coming from your end... Plz do needful for me as soon as possible...                                   I moved-out of the Nestawat property on 4th July, 2020. The inspection guy came, inspected, took the keys and left.                                     This is to bring to your kind notice that i have not yet received the whole deposit amount after moving out from the service of nestaway whereas i had cleared all my dues before a week of vacating the flat.

                                    After i moved out, i could see the charged amount of rs 20, 325 on my dashboard mentioned as moved-out charges. Whereas the agreement signed states that if we complete 6 months and give the notice of 10 days before leaving the flat, we should be given the full security deposit amount. However, i adhered to that honestly and notified the nestaway about my leaving accordingly and left on 11th july by leaving the flat in the same condition in which i received it. So, there should not be any charges and i should get the whole amount.

                                    For this, i had raised a ticket on[protected] and as per the status of the query & response it was stated that my query had been resolved and the amount is credited in the account post which netaway closed my query and removed my dashboard profile. However, i had received only rs 11675 out of the security deposit of rs 32000 on[protected].

                                    This means the query which i raised for the unnecessarily charged amount has not been resolved yet at all. I had re-opened the ticket for the query and accelerated till level 4 but not received any resolution, this is highly disappointing.

                                    I had always been a regular & trustworthy payer to nestaway for the provided services but suffering a lot at the end of the pact. As you know during this pandemic it is already a lot to suffer, so i would want you to please ascertain & look into the matter personally & credit my balanced amount of rs20325 out of the security deposit as soon as possible.

                                    Attached herewith are the snippets of the tickets & the deposited amount mentioned in agreement.

                                      I was staying in nestaway for the last 3 years. Due to covid-19, i vacated my flat on 1st july 2020. As per the policy i was suppose to get the refund amount in 7-10 days. I raised a ticket for the same. One guy from nestaway assured that you will get the deposit refund before 15th july 2020. My inspection was even done properly and they said there will be deduction of rs999 for maintenance and the rest of the amount will be refunded. My total deposit is rs 11900.
                                      Please look into this as they are not answering my call and no reply to my emails. I have raised several tickets also for the same in their portal but no luck there also. Its totally unprofessional. On top of that they keep on adding unnecessary charges which i am not suppose to pay as i have already left the flat.

                                        This is regarding issues that i am facing with nestaway support. I have been charged a hefty amount for water bill and water is not even available in the vijaya punam nest. Hardly water will be there for 2-3 hrs and not more than that.

                                        Another issue is they have increased my rent also where there is no water, no power back up, no security and if water comes it is very dirty also.

                                        Third, when i am trying to put move-out request it is showing wrong security deposit amount. I have deposited 18k and it is only showing 2300 which is incorrect. Also even after this i am unable to put move-out request as it is saying wrong bank details which is not wrong. So far i was using the same account to pay my rent.

                                        I am really frustrated with nestaway and do not want to continue my tenancy with them. Please rectify my security deposit amount and i will walk away from all these complications.

                                        Thanks for notifying them.They have put move out request now from their end but haven't updated correct security deposit yet.I have paid 18k security deposit but the settlement file sent by them shows wrong amount.
                                        Attaching screenshots and settlement file here.The calculation is also very incorrect and no one seems to call me for clarification.

                                        I have got confirmation from nestaway support guy as well that my security deposit submitted is 18k and i have attached the screenshot of the ticket as well with the name: NestAwayTicketUpdate.png

                                        Earlier when i was trying to make move out request they were showing wrong security deposit and some charges that came around Rs 19327. Attached screenshot with the name: Nestaway_move_out_request.jpg

                                        Now when they have initiated move out request from their end, still security deposit is wrong along with some weird calculation and increased amount to 25889k. Attached screenshot with name: settlement

                                        Their customer support number is also not working.

                                        Please help me as they are trying to put fake charges on me and i can't afford this much price.
