It is mentioned that the deposit money will be transferred within the first week.
But understanding the situation around i wanted for almost 60 days now. And they still haven’t called me neither have sent any mails.
They are helping people shift. Collect the rents. Add unnecessary fines of rs.100 per day for late payments. But when it comes to them paying back they haven’t done anything about it. I have been continuously trying to contact nestaway but no proper solution or response

    I have moved out of my property on 1st july. As per the rule, the security deposit should be refunded within 7 days. Its been 14 days, yet i haven't got my security deposit credited back.
    Plus in recent months, they are charging extra without giving any justification. Electricity bills for june month is charged as 799 and for may month a bill of 625+132. There were no people at home due to lockdown and everyone went to their natives, but instead have got a bill for 1300+, which is ridiculous. Even when every tenant used to be at home, electricity bills used to be in the 250+ range, not this high. When asked for justification, no reply is given in last 15 days even after multiple escalations and follow-ups.

      I have vacated house listed by nestaway. The inpection is also done. But they have not updated the status. The system shows the status as inpection pending. I did not get my advance yet.

        I moved out from nestaway house id : 7702 in june with clearing all the dues/settlements from my end and was informed that i will be getting my security deposit amount in 7 days.

        But it’s been almost a month passed and i haven't received my money back till now. I tried reaching nestaway officials multiple times but they either make an excuse or just didn't respond to my calls and emails. I have attached the screenshot for reference.

        The area manager raju patel seems to be a psychopath who keeps disconnecting/misbehaving using abusive words on the call when i try to remind him regarding my security deposit refund. He even went to an extent of saying he is never going to initiate my refund for no reasons. Here are the contact numbers of raju: [protected] /[protected].

        Moreover, they have tried to create some fraud scam by putting unnecessary charges on me once i left the house which again shows how shallow the people are working in this organisation.

        I am using the services of nestaway from last 3 years but never expected this kind of creepy and pathetic behaviour from their officials. This is really unprofessional from nestaway towards its customers.

        I would request you to look into this matter and help me with getting my security refund money back which i had deposited by trusting nestaway.

          I was a tenant staying in the nestaway property in hyderabad (Premier residency 3 bhk) since 2 years. Since the covid-19 pandemic lock down has started i. E., from march 22nd i am not staying in the property and finally place the move out request to vacate the property on 18th of june 2020. I am facing 2 major problems from nestaway regarding the move out.

          1. Some people were staying in the house during lock down and since the house is having ac the electricity bill for may month is 10, 000 rs has been raised (~1700) has been raised in dashboard. Since i was not staying at the property and the government had also ordered the house owners to support tenants who were not staying in the house to not ask for payments. But still i have been paying the full rent for past 3 months and i had requested nestaway to remove the electricity bill from my dashboard and created a ticket meaning raised an issue for the same. Till now i have not received any communication from nestaway regarding this and instead of removing these charges they have been adding fines on my dashboard without any reason. I have escalated the issue many times but received no response.

          2. On 18th if june 2020 i have placed move out request which should be requested 10 days before you actually vacate the house since they have to conduct inspection and all. Today is july 15th and there is not a single call or email from nestaway regarding the return of my deposit amount. I have already got a call from nestaway representative that my house inspection has been completed and i have returned my keys to the area manager.

          I am trying to get in touch with nestaway customer care and their centre is shut due to pandemic and the area manager is of no help regarding these issues. After i have vacated the house he is speaking rudely and do not have any answer to my problems. I have always been punctual in paying all the bills and rent since 2 years now i am having so much trouble from nestaway when we require their support.

          I am attaching the screenshot of tickets raised in hope that i get some clarification or resolution a tleast this time after all these efforts

            I am an owner of some flats in bangalore. I had given all of them to nestaway. They do not provide any service. Now i am not receiving rent from them. There is nobody to receive call. Nobody in nest away is picking up. There are 2 area managers sangita and shashank who were interacting with me 15 days after i call them. Now they are unreachable. I am loosing my money and think of putting up case on them.

              With my july 2020 rent, i have got the water tanker bill for the previous month with no details about the number of times my apartment used the tanker water which i should be paying of. I have attached the screenshot of the image which has invalid sac/hsn code with no bill from the tanker service.
              Need detailed bill details from the respective tanker service since even the customer care service is not functional right now.

                I am a #nestaway consumer or a "nestie" as they say. I am here to share my experience with #nestaway and i just have one word.
                Horrible.
                I moved out of a 1 bhk house managed by #nestaway on the 7th of june 2020. 401, om sai krupa, ashraya layout, whitefield.
                I was told the deposit will be refunded to me within 7 to 10 working days. Today it has been exactly 5 weeks, and there is not a word on the deposit. Moreover, when i call the "property manager", mr. Nikesh has enough audacity to shout and hang-up on me.
                Now, either they don't pick up calls or they make false promises and statements about the amount being processed.

                It is a middle five-figure amount, which i have been trying to get from them.

                Please help me out.

                I have gotten 2 different calls from NestAway employee that they want to go into the house and inspect. So that is done.
                But even after that, when I called or reached out to them they said that the inspection is not done yet. LIE.

                Now, they are saying that they are not able to receive the deposit from the house owner. They are not able to answer by when will that happen. Honestly, I don't think that is my problem. I rented a flat from NestAway, and NestAway needs to settle this for me. The back-end process is not my headache.

                If someone from the NestAway team is looking at this, I have received some amount from NestAway but it is very less and I cannot believe that that is the only settlement /refund that I will get.

                Can you please give me a bifurcation of the deductions being made and the amount that should be expecting as a refund?

                  I booked a flat with in pune via nestaway.

                  I have paid inr 8, 500 (March rent) and inr 17, 000 (Security deposit) and inr 4, 500 as one time nestaway fees. I am claiming a refund of all the amounts except for the 2 days for which i stayed. The reasons have been mentioned below, indicative of the unprofessional service provided by nestaway. Nestaway is withholding my refund and there is no one i can reach out to.

                  As of now, i am not mentioning any individual names from nestaway. But if this is not actioned quickly, there is not shying away.

                  To get started,

                  I went to check the flat on 23rd february. The flat was good but many things were not in place. A few of them include no curtains, no beds, house was full of dust, kitchen required deep cleaning. The sofa set had so much dust on it that if anyone would sit on it, their back clothes would become black and dirty. I am saying this because i experienced it that day. However, i was assured that everything would be in place within a week. I made the payment on 25th february believing this.

                  The room which i had booked didn’t have a washroom attached to it. The understanding is other flatmates will use their washrooms and my roommate and myself will use ours.

                  On the day of my move in, 1st march, the basic requirement of curtains was also not in place and from one of my roommates i got to know that the house was still that dirty. It took 12 days just to get curtains in place. Hence, i moved in on 15th march.

                  First day of my move-in, i get to know the washing machine and drier are not working. There is an oil leakage when switched on. The kitchen has insects all over the platform & inside the drawers and no deep cleaning has been done. The sink in the kitchen is not working and water gets choked up. The foremost requirement for a healthy living is a hygienic kitchen. The main door is so vulnerable that anyone can easily breakin. I was so skeptical to sit on my bed as it was so weak and could just collapse any moment. My cupboard was tilted one side and could fall by a small push. The images of the same were shared with the area manager.

                  For all these issues, the flatmates and myself were trying to get in touch with customer care agents. It was taking so long to get small issues fixed. I will be honest, they wanted us to give a thumbs up and close the tickets without resolving the issue. I have received phone calls stating that the issue has been resolved. And when i when i went to flat, i get to know no one even visited the flat.

                  There were two flat mates who moved in on 17th march. First of all, two people were allowed to stay in a room that could accommodate only one person. They used my washroom stating that their washroom was not in place. It seems that nestaway does not perform any validation checks before the house goes live for booking. I could not tolerate this and left the house that night.

                  The things mentioned above have been discussed with customer care agents so many times, yet no positive response. Till date i have stayed there for 2 days, being totally uncomfortable. First lockdown due to coronavirus happened on 22nd march. Prior to that, everything could be easily looked into and resolved. I paid rent for the entire month of march whereas couldn’t stay for more than 2 days due to the condition of the flat. Being a customer, i genuinely felt betrayed as there was no one to respond to my concerns.

                  Nestaway has received 2-month security deposit, one time nestaway fees and one month’s rent (March). Also in my login dashboard i was constantly charged rent for the month of april, may and june. I was trying very hard since the month of april 2020 to exit the house. Nestaway’s website had blocked that option.

                  Finally, in the 2nd week of june, after never ending requests and follow ups, i succeeded in with getting the dashboard cleared for the rent outstanding. As per company policy, the security deposit will be refunded within 7 working days from the move out. Now when i try to reach out to the customer care agents at nestaway, the response i get is “this will be looked by finance team and we can not do anything from our end. Neither can we initiate a mail chain adding participants from the accounts/ finance team.”

                  I have paid inr 8, 500 (March rent) and inr 17, 000 (Security deposit) and inr 4, 500 as one time nestaway fees. Ideally i should be receiving a refund of all the amounts except the 2 days for which i stayed because i am moving out due to the unprofessional service provided by nestaway.                     Set below are episodes of harassment by nestaway company inflicted on me:
                    * i had submitted a request for vacating the rented place in december of 2018 and agreed to pay a fine of inr 2, 500 due to not informing 1 month in advance. My request was accepted and i vacated the place by january 5th, 2019; the flat was inspected without my presence followed by unnecessary expenditures levied by me.
                    * immediately afterwards, a ticket was raised from my end asking for a clarification for these charges as they mentioned water and electricity; whereas water was already included in the rent and the electricity was paid one month in advance by me.
                    * after so many requests and escalations, i was finally given a response but this time around, the charges remained but they were changed and made as expenditures for repairs and replacements; whereas the nestaway website clearly states that repairs and replacements are to be covered by the company and not the tenant. Even then i am charged for all the repairs and replacements (Charged for 2 flushes whereas i am entitled to one only) i called customer care of nestaway as well as raised ticket many times after that no no proper response was given. I have recorded conversation between me and customer service of last year as well as with their area manager from recently where he is just putting the name on the person who has been transferred

                    Till now i have not been given any proper clarification as to why charges have been levied nor has anyone come forward from their team to help me resolve the issue or adress it.

                    Now since may i am following rigorously by raising tickets but have not got any call or response from any one from your team or company.

                    Even now i am only trying to just reach someone who can explain.

                    It was my hard earned money i don't have to run behind them, it is my right to demand a justification which these guys have failed to give, they have changed the charges as per their convenience from water bills to repairs even then i have 16k left which is according to them and still they haven't initiated it.
                    They have also put monthly rental charges of jan month where as i have shifted in january and have all the mail's regarding my move out request etc
                    Their ground level nexus is not giving me contact or getting a call or mail arranged from concerned team or a senior person. Day before now i have mailed but still no response

                      I rented a flat from Nestaway lastyear in the month of May in Bangalore. There was no mention of 'painting charges' in the agreement last year which I signed. This year I got stuck in Mumbai during lockdown and Nestaway silently replaced the original Agreement from the Android Application with a modified agreement which contained 'Painting Charges' equivalent to one month rent. Luckily for me, I had the original document with me. Nestaway is charging me 9000 Rs for the painting charges wherein it was neither mentioned and there is no need for painting at all. This is daylight robbery and cheating. I have the Original Document, but nestaway is just not ready to listen.

                        I moved into a nestaway property of noida goes by the address c-157 sector 72. We submitted a one month security deposit also. On 1st july 2020 we moved out of the rented property and were assured the refund within 7 days but there is not a single call back or mail received regarding the same. I have tried reaching their numbers but no response. Its not only me but also thousands of other as well who are facing the same issue.

                          Hie this is salva.. I have already complained regarding on my security deposit refund from nestaway technologies pvt. Ltd. Company.. I haven’t received any reply even tho after raising service request, calls or emails. Haven’t heard from customer support. It’s been more then a month they have given false promises which is causing me mental tension.. Please do solve my problem on refund asap.

                          The attachment are the service request raised by me on their website.. I haven’t received any reply back from 8.07.20 till now nor a call back.

                            It's covid situation, but all companies working online. We have 2 properties registered with nestaway. They are taking advantage of this situation and not contacting us at all we tried through fb, through tenants and their sales managers too. All tenants have vacated in one apartment and we have no clue about other. Atleast in order that we can try to keep our own tenant. We are try to communicate with nestaway. They are not giving us rent, whereas the tenant has paid to nestaway. Not communicate is a way of escape to give rent or cut away/ settle with them. We are stuck with our property under them.

                              I am staying at kpr elite. The landlord has disconnected the electricity supply as according to them nestaway had not cleared their payments since 3 months. I guess this is not our concern as there is an agreement between nestaway and the landlord which should not impact to us in anyway. We have paid all the rent and electricity bill till date but then also suffering due to the issue between the landlord and nestaway. Getting no response from nestaway for the same.

                                This is regarding my property in faridabad which is managed by nestaway, property id in nestaway is n27896.

                                Nestaway is not paying me the rent, they have received partial amount from tenant but not passing me that. Their zonal manager confirmed me in 1st week of june that i will receive the rent within a week but till now i haven’t received anything and they have stopped responding back. I opened a service request (Sc_[protected] on their portal but no one has responded over their as well.

                                Kindly request to get the issue resolved.

                                  This is regarding houseid n27896, nestaway is not paying me the rent for my flat in faridabad. They have received partial rent from tenant but not passing on that to me.

                                  Their zonal manager confirmed in 1st week of june that money will be transferred within a week but nothing has been paid and they stopped responding back. Also on their portal, i opened a service request and no one has responded back on that as well

                                    I, Aditya Bhala, am hereby writing this to inform you that I will be taking legal help to resolve my issue under CC_08407515

                                    Even after numerous attempts to get in touch with your support team regarding my Security Deposit settlement, refund and inspection of the room I used to rent, there has been no kind of credible response from your side. Attaching below Twitter and Messenger account chats for your reference.

                                    Also your property manager Mr. Surya informed me that unofficial inspection took place on 21st June 2020. I moved out on 20th June 2020 with scheduled move out being 1st July 2020. Also I received a call from Nestaway regarding Pre inspection in which they confirmed official inspection will take place on 28th June 2020 for which I have a recorded audio clip.

                                    After having chats with your property manager on 2nd July, he said the official inspection has already been done and finance team is informed. I have chats to prove the same. Where as your safety department informed me today that they are still waiting for the property manager to finalise the inspection. (Which again I have a recorded audio clip)

                                    As per your contract, Safety Deposit is to be refunded within 7 working days of moving out. The entire confusion above between your various departments, along with the proofs that I have collected over the few days, shows your incompetence in handling customers and your intent to commit fraud by duping innocent civilians of their own hard earned money.

                                    As such, I am hereby notifying you that if no action is taken, with reference to the above, and inspection status and refund status is not provided to me by EOD tomorrow, or your customer service team fails to contact me by EOD tomorrow, I will be taking legal recourse regarding the same.

                                    Hope that you will consider this mail seriously and avoid unnecessary legal complications

                                      We are staying in manjunath nest, bangalore since 2018.
                                      We have been charging water and utility bills randomly without any proper bills. Me and my roommates raised a ticket in march, but we are getting any proper resolution.

                                      We have been charged the following:
                                      1. Inr 486 for april 2019
                                      2. Inr 1511 for june 2019
                                      3. Inr 1198 for july 2019
                                      4. Inr 3506 for august 2019
                                      5. Inr 408 for september 2019
                                      6. Inr 103 for october 2019

                                      This is literally illogical billing on their side for 1bhk flat.
                                      How can they charge without any bill?
                                      And why so much charged for water?

                                      Not only they are taking their own time in providing the bills, but also they are charging inr 100 as fine daily from march.
                                      We also aren't getting the response through mails which we sent.

                                      The total amount has now increased to 22k odd.

                                        I was staying at nestaway property in bangalore here are the details:
                                        House id:24841 101, phase 1, prestige langleigh, ecc road, whitefield, bengaluru, karnataka, india-560067. I recently moved out of this property on 30th june.
                                        It has been more than a week and i have not received my security deposit which is rs.30, 900. I raised multiple service request in there portal but no response

                                        I also called the owner she informed me that nestaway has not paid her june month rent and without getting the june month rent she cannot pay the security deposit to me. If nestaway has paid the owner june month rent at least let me know with a proof so that i can take legal action against the owner.in the agreement, it's clearly mentioned that the security deposit should be refunded within 10 days.
