This is in regards to the property that i booked via nestaway. Property name was neelima west located at 774, 23rd cross road, hsr sector 7, bengaluru karnataka.

The day we moved in the house was is pathetic condition. It was not at all painted and repaired, (Proof attached in the attachment).
The area manager who was appointed to us left the company and no one was appointed thereafter to resolve our complaints. The miseries reached peak during the time of check out, new area manager appeared from no where they had never made any contact with us during the whole tenure. We handed the keys and left the house in a better condition in which it was given to us.
Its been more than 2 week now since the day we left the house. As per contract it is clearly mentioned that the deposit will be refunded within 1 week after the tenant vacate the house, however we have not received any penny back from them.
Not only that they are not responding to phone calls, messages, emails etc. Hence we approach social media channels like twitter and facebook. To make our problems bigger we found out that their social media page is full of such complaints and they are fooling working class people and students from quite a long time now. Hence we decided to lodge a complain on this forum.
The main allegations are:
1: they have breached the signed agreement.
2: they don't provide proper breakdown of the deposit refunded.
3: they deducte extraneous amounts for eg in our case house was not painted when it is given to us. Still the are manager said that painting charges of rs 15000 will be deducted from our security in order to provide new tenants the painted house. (As a matter of fact, new tennant have already moved in, and have received unpainted house)
I have vacated my house on 15th june 2020. The manager has also inspected the house on 14th and 15th june 2020. They have charged us 15k for painting charges well before the inspection. Now i can not see the charges they are cutting from the deposit since i have moved out. When we moved in we were not given a painted house, hence we don't expect a cut of 15k from our deposit for painting as the house is in a similar condition. I have raised the request for removing the painting charges. After many tweets, they have resolved that service request with a comment - "if you have any written confirmation or any sort of proof that house was not painted during move in, please raise a new service request with the same so that we will check & remove the same charges". I have even showed the owner while moving-in that the house was not painted.in the agreement, it is clearly mentioned that painting has to be got done by the owner.
Regarding the refund of deposit money, i haven't received the breakup of the charges they will be deducting from my deposit neither i have got my deposit money back. The new tenants have already occupied the house now. And nestaway has not given them a painted house despite deducting 15k from our deposit.
My next destination will be police station for filing an fir against them for not returning y deposit money.

They have looted money from every tenant.
