As per the agreement, the deposit amount (Rs. 17, 500) needs to be refunded within 10 days.

Its been more than 10 days, almost a month and had refunded the deposit amount yet. Also there is no response at all.

    Hi,
    Below are the detail elaboration of the issue which i have been facing from last 40 days, as per nestaway policy security refund should be refunded in 7-15 days to tenants after the date on which he or she moved out. And in instant deposit refund category it's much faster than usual. So i have been moved out on 8th june 2020, today's date is 19july still i am not getting replies from nestaway team regarding same. There customer care services are closed please do the needful. Below is the latest mail communication i had with nestaway team.

    It's been more than one months now i have been moved out from the nestaway house id -66985 and i haven't received my security deposit refund yet. I moved out on 8th june and my area manager and assure team committed refund will take some time due to covid approximately 10-15 days. Well this house is under instant refund category but still i waited for long time to get response from your team. Now area manager amber has left the nestaway so i have only your contact to get in touch with you.

    I mean i don't understand earlier team replied refund request has been sent to the landlord till time you need to wait, and now replying with the inspection is not taken yet to the house i mean why not taken yet. I received a call from the service and inspection team last month only and they did all formalities in the house and bed was released.

    Let me know the contact details of operations or accounts or any senior lead so that i can have a discussion to understand what's the exact issue they are facing to process this refund.

    Such a worst level of service i have received from nestaway it seems from the on this service request logs you can check it out.

    Please do the needful and process this if anything can be done from your end.

        Hello, my deposit money is not returned from nestaway. Its issue of all out roommates.
        One electricity bill was generated in december month which was inaccurate and very high. As we all know in delhi, nov - dec are winters we don't require ac. We never had heaters also.in spite of this our electricity bill was very high. We informed first to nest away.. They told us talk to owner.. Then we spoke with owner.. No response. Then we sent multiple emails to nest away. No reply. Now after 6 months also issue is still pending. And now they have laundered our entite deposit around 1 lakhs of all rommies. Each one paid 17k. And it was a 3 bhk flat on gurgaon. C80 south city 2 sector 49. Owner name was vivek ohri.

        U can revert on mail. So that i can revert back with all roomates. Please help!!! Nestway is a fraud.

          I have been staying in nestaway almost 4 year but recently they have added some maintenance charge which they haven't done. So I raised a ticket for clarification of charges. They took 2 month to clarify that the maintenance will be done after and added fine for their bad customer service to provide a simple clarification of charges took 2 month.

            My security deposit not refunded by Nestaway... customer care is not working even don't give any response to any mail...
            I also take action against ur company...
            My friend nd me left it house in same day, she got her deposit but I didn't...
            Her deposit is deducted by Nestaway 10000, it's very shocking...

              Security deposit (14000) not refunded even after 4 months. took accomdation on April 2019. left nestaway after 1 yr. 4 months have passed since then. sent many emails. no response. I have not recvd my deposit back.
              They are conveniently not reachable.

                  I was staying in a flat from nestaway properties in bangalore for 1 year. I paid advance deposit while moving in to flat and rent before 5th of every month as they threaten to put fine if rent is delayed post 5th of every month.
                  Even though so strict rules of penalty for rental payments. After i moved out of flat from last 3 months they had not refunded my advance money and these cheaters are playing by shutting down customer service center phone and putting charges that are not at all valid.
                  In the agreement they have mentioned to return advance money after moving out with minimal or no charges within 5 days of moveout if someonexstays more than 6 months. But these cheaters are not refunding advance money from 3 months putting corona as shield. If we have to pay rent 5th of every month or face penalty, how these cheaters are keeping our advance money for 3 months post moveout without any penalty during corona. Its my deposit advance money, how corona has stopped nestaway from returning it.
                  These are illegal companies doing business openly.

                    There are too many extra charges, like society maintainance, i am already paying assured maintainance every month. Garbage charges are added to my bill but i am paying that already to the watchman. Electricity bill is added twice for same amount. For water there is prepaid charges also and postpaid too.

                      I deposited 51, 000 as security deposit to Nestaway when i took the flat in HSR layout sec2, Bangalore. The agreement between owner and nestaway has been dissolved and now owner will prepare a new agrreement for all tenants. Nestaway has to return the security deposit to tenants which it is not doing. I got refund of 45, 633.96 though i paid security deposit of 51, 000. I have written multiple times to nestaway on their dashboard but they close the ticket and give no clarification. No dues were pending from my end, neither i left the flat so they can't deduct painting charges.Everytime i call their representatives their numbers are switched off.Kindly help.

                        Team, I'm part of Nestaway from Last 5 Years, Stayed in Different Property in many Parts of India.
                        This time i'm facing the issue which makes me disappointing. I have Moved Out from One of the Property in Hyderabad on 6 July, 2020 but i have not received my Refund yet, it's more than 7 days but the Dashboard is still not updated with Amounts. Nestaway House was tagged as Instant Deposit Returns (IDR) Policy of Nestaway. According to Nestaway Policy they will Refund the Amount within 7 Days.
                        Take the necessary action ASAP
                        I have raised Service Request CC_08413405. No Steps has been Taken Nestaway

                        It's been More than 15 Days, Please take Legal Action against Nestaway. They are running a Fraud Business.

                          It has been more than 45 days since I moved out of the rental house in Bangalore. I have not received the refund of my security deposit yet.
                          Last time, when I raised a complaint on 3rd July, I got the reply that amount will be refunded on 15th of July or earlier (attached the email that I got). Till now its not been refunded and no replies for follow-up as well. really pathetic customer service.

                            I was staying in nestaway for the last 7 months and recently moved out (On 29th of june, 2020). It's been 18 days and on 12th of july 2020, my account got credited with 11, 436.98/- rupees only from nestaway which is not equal to the security deposit amount i paid before moving in. I paid more than 33, 000/- rupees as security deposit. What about the rest of the amount. When will that be credited. Till yesterday, i could see in the app that the painting charge that will be deducted is 9000/- rupees and 999/- as some kind o[censored]tility fine. Today, i can't see all these details. Even if this much (9999/-) deduction would've been made, i should have got much more than what is credited to my account. First of all deduction as painting charge for such a small 1bhk flat shouldn't be 9000/- anywhere in india. Also, i want to know about utility fine bills - what is that? Please note that i have paid rent for all the months i stayed (Till 29th june). I want the refund of security deposit asap.

                              NestAway Technologies, is a rental company through which I had taken on rent a room in an Apartment.
                              Now, after moving out of the apartment and imitating the same to NestAway and resolving all subsequent obligations from my side - the company is failing to refund my security deposit.

                              I have sent a mail from my end and tried to call their customer care as well - both unresponsive.

                                I was given an apartment that wasn't maintained. Painting had not been done at all. The wall was broken. The area manager assured that i wouldn't be charged painting charges while vacating since the house was not painted before i took it.

                                However, during vacating, they not only added painting charges worth 15k but also maintenance charges amounting to 56k. On raising a ticket, they do not seem to understand the issue. They just keep iterating it is valid.

                                They are obviously pocketing money in the form of painting charges since repairs are not conducted. I want the painting charges and maintenance charges removed from my account.

                                  It is mentioned that the deposit money will be transferred within the first week.
                                  But understanding the situation around i wanted for almost 60 days now. And they still haven’t called me neither have sent any mails.
                                  They are helping people shift. Collect the rents. Add unnecessary fines of rs.100 per day for late payments. But when it comes to them paying back they haven’t done anything about it. I have been continuously trying to contact nestaway but no proper solution or response

                                    I have moved out of my property on 1st july. As per the rule, the security deposit should be refunded within 7 days. Its been 14 days, yet i haven't got my security deposit credited back.
                                    Plus in recent months, they are charging extra without giving any justification. Electricity bills for june month is charged as 799 and for may month a bill of 625+132. There were no people at home due to lockdown and everyone went to their natives, but instead have got a bill for 1300+, which is ridiculous. Even when every tenant used to be at home, electricity bills used to be in the 250+ range, not this high. When asked for justification, no reply is given in last 15 days even after multiple escalations and follow-ups.

                                        I moved out from nestaway house id : 7702 in june with clearing all the dues/settlements from my end and was informed that i will be getting my security deposit amount in 7 days.

                                        But it’s been almost a month passed and i haven't received my money back till now. I tried reaching nestaway officials multiple times but they either make an excuse or just didn't respond to my calls and emails. I have attached the screenshot for reference.

                                        The area manager raju patel seems to be a psychopath who keeps disconnecting/misbehaving using abusive words on the call when i try to remind him regarding my security deposit refund. He even went to an extent of saying he is never going to initiate my refund for no reasons. Here are the contact numbers of raju: [protected] /[protected].

                                        Moreover, they have tried to create some fraud scam by putting unnecessary charges on me once i left the house which again shows how shallow the people are working in this organisation.

                                        I am using the services of nestaway from last 3 years but never expected this kind of creepy and pathetic behaviour from their officials. This is really unprofessional from nestaway towards its customers.

                                        I would request you to look into this matter and help me with getting my security refund money back which i had deposited by trusting nestaway.
