I have moved out on 19.03.2020, the move out team did room inspection in my presence only and i handed them the room key. All the move out procedures were completed from my side. Till date i haven't received my refund of security deposit. I also raised a ticket for this issue (Sc_[protected], but this ticket was closed without resolving the issue.

Kindly request you to consider this issue very sincerely and help me to refund my full payment.

Is there any update on the issue? Its been nearly two months that i have moved out, it shouldn't be taking so long to refund the deposit, specially when the banking sector is fully functional.

Kindly resolve the issue at the earliest.

Please note that i haven't received my refund yet.

On 30th June move out inspection was done and all necessary data along with the pics of the utility items were submitted to the Nestaway executive. Later the executive confirmed me by call that all the details were provided to Nestaway.

Its been now 4 months i have moved out, request you to kindly accelerate the procedure and provide me the refund as early as possible.

    During this lockdown, i have consistently sent emails to nestaway to waive off rent as i am an intern in mysore and will not be able to pay the rent in full as i am not receiving my monthly wage due to this pandemic.
    Upon contacting the oner vaseem, they told me that they have emi's to pay, which the government have stated has been on a halt for the month of april and may, after repeated emails and calls, i have been forced to pay the rent or else i am being fined.

      My fridge isn't working since last 1.5 months. The lights are on but it doesn't cool. One day it stopped cooling, i have raise multiple complaints on nestaway site, raised more than 5 tickets. No response. Their customer case is shutdown and don't respond.

      The fridge is old single door, samsung brand. It makes a noise from its compressor, that noise still comes but no cooling. One day in april i found lots of water out of fridge. It was due to cooling had stopped and ice frostings got melted and water started to spill.
      I emptied all the food items from fridge, and kept only some water for the whole day, still the fridge did not cool.

      Any attempts to contact customer care or raise ticket goes in vein. No one listens. Need help as soon as possible.

        My refrigerator is getting on but it's not cooling. Lights are on but it doesn't get cool. I am everytime raising a ticket, my ticket gets cancelled.
        Nestaway is not providing any help during lockdown. We customers are trapped and they are not giving services. They cancel every ticket i raise for help. They have even disabled their helpline number

          Hi,
          I paid 10000 of booking amount (2times*5000) for a house in nestaway but couldnt move into it because of lockdown. They promised me to return the amount since it was not my fault. I have also requested the same through their customer care and app, every time they promise that it will be returned but it never happens.
          I am attaching snapshots here.

            Hi,

            I have paid 25500 as security deposit at the time of movein.

            By adhering the nestaway policies i have requested for moveout on 20th and the house inspection was done on 30th april. Now they are not refunding me.

            No one is working on my tickets.

            2 times moveout inspection charge has been added to my dashboard which is invalid.

            I need my refund of 25500 asap.

              Respectable sir/madam,

              This is to bring to your notice that close to a year, i'm unable to pay the house rent as i had lost my job, and now being the covid situation, i'm unable to clear the balance and i'm unable to move out too. So month by month, the amount is increasing and i get repeatedly followup calls for the payments. I'm a single parent with an aged mother and recently my father passed away.

              The pending amount shows some false charges against water bills, utility bills & huge fine charges on a monthly and daily basis.

              I'm unable to move out of the property as they are not allowing me to vacate without paying the dues. I'm genuinely not in a position to pay the dues now due to financial crisis.

              Requesting someone to please help me move out of this property and give me emi options to pay the balances off. I'm unable to apply for a loan too due to lack of job and no one willing to give a hand loan too.

                I am staying in nest away property id 21832 bangalore. I raised a request to move out on 21st march for move out and i selected the move out date as 31st march and lockdown got extended and next away has canceled my move out on 16th april and added a fine of 1000 rs for late payment of rent. The dashboard was updated on 16th itself and they added fine once raised a request they removed the fine and i again changed my move out date to 3rd may and on 1st may we got the news that lockdown is extended and there is relaxation 33% employees can work in pvt companies and from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm we can move without the pass. Then i raised a request in nest away from the app and there was no response from them and i checked my area manager sayed in whats app he misleads and told me to cancel the move out that we can't move out before 17th may. So i canceled my move out and changed the date to 18th may. Or 4th may flatmate is moving internally in nest away he got a call from his area manager that he can move to the new property.. Then i again raised a request in nest away from the app for early move-out and there is no response from then now i am not able to see the request which i raised in my dashboard and customer care closed when i contacted the area manager he mentioned that he is not working for nest away any more he shared one more person's name when i contacted him he told me cancel the move-out and reschedule it and when i canceled the move-out and tried to reschedule it is again showing as 17th may again 10days notice, i have already given them 40 days notice and once nest away itself have canceled my move out request. I am already paying double rent from april and nest away guys are loosing money by not allowing us to move and not responding back their area manager is misleading us giving the wrong information and making us fools.                   I rented a flat from nestaway in bangalore. I raised a request to move out from the flat 10 days prior to 27th march as per their move out policy. I have left the flat on 27th march. My move out date was also 27th march as per notice period with nestaway. They didn't come for inspection of house/room on mentioned or before my move out date i. E 27th march as per move out policy. I left the place as it is.

                  I asked for my refund of security money from nestaway and it's been over a month already since i left the place. They deducted rs 1600 charges as mattress missing in my room and they told me inspection is done on 16th april i. E way after (Approx. 20 days) since i left the place and that too in absence of me which is not according to the move out policy.

                  When i left the place there was a mattress on that bed. Either they are lying now or in between those 20 days mattress is gone missing from my bed. I told them clearly if anything is missing in my room or house in between those 20 days how i could be responsible for that? They are not listening to me and deducted the amount unethically. Also, inspection was done in absence of me i was not at the flat obviously if i have left the place how i could i be? Also, i didn't knew about the when was inspection done. They didn't inform me anything.

                  My question is they have mentioned only about inspection to be done on move out date in presence of tenant not what if inspection is done after move out date in absence of tenant which is clearly unethical.
                  Now either i want to refund my money which they have denied already or i want in written from nestaway signed by authorised official person that these charges are valid and according to the policy.

                    I have been staying in this place from nearly 2 years.

                    When we went to make payment we noticed that there a lot of fines mentioned when i have paid the rent on time. Also there was no explanation on what exactly is the reason and we could not reach any of the nestaway representatives to check on this.
                    Also there are random amounts added as fine. How is it?
                    Policy says nestaway charges a late payment fee of inr 100/day if any amount is not paid by the due date. This amount is charged upto the date of payment.

                    But our bill shows 300- 600 added every day.
                    How can some company charge exorbitant amount of money from the tenants.
                    Last month is was showing the due as 2491.46 but now it has suddenly jumped to 5216.41. Is it that the fines have got added??? It shows as like we are supposed to pay extra amount. Of almost 13000. How can this be acceptable?
                    If fines are being levied why no one contacted us to inform the nature of the services and for what reason they are added the charges before starting this? And no one responds to our queries.
                    Even when we raise a complain there was no action taken and there was not correct response from the customer care. Whenever we raise a service request no one takes it up and not action is taken and then we get a bill added to our account saying that they visited etc.
                    Also when we reach out to any one from they are not ready to give any explanation for the money added to our bill. Why should we pay without any valid reason.
                    We are try to move out from 2 months and still no response.

                    Also I paid all the utilities bill etc. only the other charges (1829) for which we had asked for explanation is pending + the fines for the same shows as (the rest of 10029). I have been trying to contact the customer care about the other charges. But No one answers our query in customer care cant contact in call/sr, but keep adding random fines to the bills.

                    from yesterday to today the fine description has changed from "fine for unpaid dues of rs. 2430" to
                    "fine for unpaid dues of rs.6230 " both the numbers don't match the actual amount in dispute.

                    Also i have sent mail to [protected]@nestaway.com with the details and screenshots of the fines etc. But haven't heard back from the team yet.

                    Also there were a few cases where they refused to take a complaint related to safety as Nestaway representatives using their keys to enter the house when we were sleeping saying some stories.

                    when asked they said they thought no one is staying in the house and wanted to show a new customer another house similar to this and didn't have the key for that etc.

                      Every month nestaway is charging huge false water charges and fines. I raised multiple help tickets but everytime they close ticket without any communication and resolving the issue.
                      I tried multiple times to reach out but available contact numbers are just for show off. No one will pick your call or you get any call back.
                      Now the charges are too much i cannot pay and leave home because of on going pandemic. But every day they are forcing to pay all money please help

                        I am paying my house rent on time every month. Once or twice before 6 months it get delayed. Hence they added late fee charges of around 5000/- rupees for 15 days.

                        One of nestway employee (Srinivasu), suggested me to pay half amount and he said remaining will be waived off by nestway. So as per his suggestion in january i have paid half amount.

                        They have not waived off remaining amount and added 10000 more fine for that 2000. No one is responding from nestway services.

                          Dear sir/madam,
                          I booked a house in nestaway with a house id 44446 on april 13th by paying a token advance of ₹2200 and later i paid ₹39159 on 18th april which includes deposit amount+1st month's rent+ onboarding charges. My move in date to the house was on may 2nd but on 26th april, i received just an email from nestaway aayi that the house has been delisted from their platform and refund will. Be initiated.
                          Today is may 5th and until present, i haven't received any calls/messages/emails or anything about my money.
                          No customer care operation going on due to covid 19 and also nestaway removed the complete booking details from my account and there is not even a sign that i had made a booking. For my safety i had taken screenshots of everything and that is what i have as a proof now else i dont know what would have happened.
                          I have sent a lot of e-mails to all the nestaway email ids including their grievance officer's but none of them responded for a single email message.

                            I'm living with nestaway in a pg in mumbai. We have vacated the pg since 2 months because of the ongoing situations. I have scheduled my move out date for 4th may however lockdown was extended and i can't process move-out. I want to end my contract with nestaway as i'm not living there. But they won't let us vacate our houses and also charged us rent instead of ending the contact. They even charged me rent for 4 days of may month and are asking me for fine if i delayed the payment inspite of government's direction in maharashtra that landlords are not supposed to take rent for 3 months or charge fine for late rent payment. Nestaway's customer care is completely disabled. I have tried calling the customer care but there is no response from their side. We cannot even drop a mail regarding our issue. There is absolutely no way to contact them in case we have issues. The area managers are clueless. There is no proper service from their side and they're just charging us money.

                                Dear sir/mam,
                                I am tenant of nestaway from july 2019, as we are facing the pandemic it was notified from the govt. Of maharashtra there won't be any rent charge for the coming 3 months for the renting services as most of them have financial problems, but as i can see that in nestaway app have charged and showing payment is due.
                                Please provide a solution for this.

                                  Hi, after raising requests in the app, and talking to the company's representative several times, it's been 3 months now that i haven't received any resolution to my complaints. I have been charged 2/3 times in the same month for the electricity bills and this is of 3/4 months, no resolution for this up till now, also i was promised by one of the employees that my rent would be the same as earlier after renewing the agreement, but still i'm charged high rent with assure maintenance fee for which i didn't opt.

                                  God knows for how long should i wait for the resolution... Is this the way this company treats its customers? I get calls for paying the charges daily, but when i tell them y issue.. No revert comes from their side.

                                  Pathetic customer service.

                                    Sir u know very well all cities r lockdown due to coronavirus breakdown. Now i m stuck in my native place in bihar.. My office is closed from march and not getting my salary.. I request u please understand this crisis and do something about rent, i tried to raise service request but ur nestaway site not allow to raise any service request...
                                    I talked about rent to ur customer executive and he/she suggested me to attach some hr letter of my office... Pls see the attachment...
                                    And u also see the attachment of maharashtra govt...

                                    Sir still didn't receive nestaway cal or any msg.. They people give me reminder cal for rent payment, they don't know the crisis of country or they didn't read the Maharashtra govt. Notification.
                                    we are facing the pandemic it was notified from the Govt. of Maharashtra there won't be any rent charge for the coming 3 months for the renting services as most of them have financial problems, but as I can see that in Nestaway app have charged and showing payment is due.
                                    please provide a solution for this.

                                    Area manager told me their is not lockdown in Mumbai... everything is ok here...why Nestaway customer service is not working????why he/she didn't pick up our cal...

                                      I am writing this mail to you so that i can bring my concern before you. I am tenant in your properties taking services of nestaway from nearly three years. It's been a good experience till now but since i have renewed my rent agreement few months before. Nestaway have put some extra charges levied to me in the name of ' nestaway assure'. The service which i never requested to take. But these charges are showing in my dashboard. And for this i had done the complaints many a times at your customer service platforms. But their responses to my complaint is not good nor satisfying. They are just saying that these are compulsory charges. Which is not justified, how can you made these services as compulsory, this should be on us wheather to take the services or not. As we are already paying the charges to the society paramount floraville for providing the same services which you are offering. So i can't see any anything good in paying the double charges for the same services which i never intendes to take. This is something like harassing me by calling again & again for paying the charges for the services i don't want and above this you have levied the penalty charges for late payments. So i request you to please look into this and take some serious actions. As i don't want any of these services.

                                        According to the rules given by maharashtra government, the landlords cannot demand rent for a month from students and since i'm a student, i'm not at the home assigned to me and i would like to request you to skip my this month's payment as you have charged me last month. If you force me to pay or charge me late fines, the least i'll be able to pay is 50% of my rent and no more than that. If i get forced hereby, i'll have no option but to file a complaint against the company.
