I had leased out my property on nestaway for rent. They were unable to find any tenants and after 5-6 months decided to delist my property. I had submitted my property keys to them during the initial processing. It has been more than a month now that the property has been delisted and i still have not yet received the keys. Despite mailing them or calling up their customer service, there is still no concrete answer to the whereabouts of my keys

I have received my keys. After a couple of rounds of emails and phone calls, they finally found the keys in their custody in their office. They handed over the keys immediately by visiting my home.

    Hi

    I've been charged more commission than what was agreed upon when a tenant is getting allotted for my house in goregaon, mumbai. Even after repeated calling, there was no response from the people who committed the commission to me. I'm calling their helpline since 10 days now, they just raised an email and that has been the story since then. No action taken at all.

      late payment charges

      Hi,

      There are problems with the upi payment methods with nestaway, it takes 2-3 days to reflect the payment. Sometimes, there is upi limit exceeded due to which i had been charged with late free for subsequent three months. Earlier there was a process to raise service request for late fee, which would be waved later after providing proof.

      Now, they have removed the option to raise service request, due to which...

      I have moved out from nestaway property house id 54192 on 18th jan and still following up for getting my security deposit back. Also i see all incorrect charges are applied to my dashboard. I have raise multiple service requests and made numerous calls but i am not getting my refund back.

      Also unnecessary charges are added as below:
      1. Utility bill rs 800 - all utility bills are clear and proof is sent to owner. Proof of last month bill payment & prorated bill (Rs 230) till 18th jan are submitted to nestaway and owner.
      2. Renovation charges rs 999 - there are no renovation charges needs to be applied as per my zenify agreement. This needs to be removed.
      3. Notice period charges rs 12, 254 - as confirmed in sc_02023847 ticket by nestaway, this charge needs to be removed.
      4. Maintenance move out rs 2850 - i have already paid maintenance till 18th jan and remaining paid by owner till mar'20, directly to society and proof is attached & also shared with owner - kindly remove this charge.
      5. Painting charges are very high. It should be less than 10k considering the condition of the house.

      Nobody connected or tried to resolve the issue. I have created tickets and also escalated it till level 4, but your level 4 supervisor Mr. Shakil forcefully close those tickets without caring to provide any resolution or response.
      My friend rutuja bahikar tenant of house Id 2185 was charged 9000 for move out.what the hell is going. If you are not getting talents with high price you are cheating the existing one rit. Very disappointed with the service

        My name is Nandhini.
        I moved to the nestaway house in the month of march 2019. From the month i moved in we were having electricity issues very often. Despite raising many service request, they did not bother to fix the issue and the manager never took any reponsibility to look in to the issue. We pay the electricity bills on time.
        So, in the month of august we raised complaint on the power issue to bescom. When the bescom people came, they found there is some illegal connection given in the building and they have imposed penalty on the building. And during this period whole building had no power in the house for one whole week and no water as well. We had suffered a lot without water and power. Nest away paid the penalty charges and got the power supply back after one week. Now they are imposing that penalty charges on the tenant. How come tenant are responsible for the penalty.. That illegal connection was given by owner or manager and they should be responsible for it. How the tenant would what is going on in the meter board.
        Now they are charging me around rs. 5000 in the name of bescom penalty. Though i raised many service request that i am not liable to pay these charges as am not aware of anything towards meter installation. They are not providing proper solution. They are very rude and harsh saying this has to be paid by me and owner or nest away cannot pay. Kindly help me to resolve this issue. I cannot pay this amount and i did not do any mistake.

        P. S - in the first place, the house which i moved is a brand new building. And there were no pole connection to the ground for the electricity. These all has to be proper when they give the building for the rent. But they failed to do so. And after bescom has found out they are imposing it on tenants. After the new meter is installed we are not having any power issues. Nestaway is really fraud.

        Customer care executive is very rude when this issue comes. Please help me to resolved this issue.

        @Nestaway Do u have any update on this. Customer care is closing the ticket without any proper response. I have no peace and I am having mental pressure due to this. Please investigate and remove the charges.

          After many call followup there is no action against my query. They promise me to provide rent agreement and access card to entry the society before move-in date 21/01/2020 for that i am already paid on-boarding charges before 5 days.             Raised complaint for sewage problem where other tenants toilet and sewage enters into my bathroom. The service guy and checked and went away without resolving the problem. Also on top of that he closed the ticket without resolving it.
            Tried to contact the area manager but he also didnot and very rudely cut my call in middle of the conversation, i also tried to contact him but he is not picking my call.

            I rented house in nest away thinking that i'll get good service but it exact opposite.
            Nobody is there to resolve the problem, customer cares ask to contact area manager, area manager asks to contact house owner.

              I have been duped and a victim of their unprofessional team. Nobody answers call, or has the decency to revert. The behavior of the team is pathetic. What is committed before move in and after move in no body listens!! They remove posts from their page and no resolving the problems. There are so clever in handling the customer by telling the same statement again and again. Am going to launch a complaint against them.

                I stay in the a nestaway run building, yash residency, and i am fed up of nestaway support and area manager attitude. It was the biggest mistake of my like to opt for nestaway. They are making money even out of water bills which is almost 3 times the actuals. The worst thing is that they provide fake water bills and they expect us to pay the bills.

                  Before i had to pay the charges of the flat, the team was continuously trying to warn about the due amount but after i paid my monthly rent and security deposit before shifting, not getting any assistance. I paid almost 60k and had a doubt about the rent agreement which not a single person is aware about, neither the owner is receiving my call. Pls assist as i want to shift my belongings to the new flat and need a complete address of it, or want a correct mentioned address in the rental agreement.

                    An eviction notice given to me on 9th jan without any cause which i just checked today as i was out of town. The reason behind this notice is only that i am not booking the whole room as i am occupying only one bed and your property manager (Anand) is not able to find any other tenant who can book another bed. Regarding the same he called me once and talked to me in a very humiliating way that either i book whole room or i will be thrown out of house. Immediately i made a call to nestaway customer care and they said their no official call made by nestaway as well anand is not the property manager any more and regarding the same he said he will send a mail to current property manager.

                    After that conversation there was no official call came from nestaway side and i thought there might be some misunderstanding and i went out of bengaluru due to some office stuff and then today i got a call that i need to vacant that flat which is completely suprise to me as well not tolerable. I took an internal transfer to this bed on 28th oct for which i paid internal transfer amount as well there was move in amount of 3000/- also and if your team not able to find any other tenant that is not my issue at all because of that if you are throwing me out thats completely illegal. Regarding the same i asked owner also and she is not awared of such things

                    Either you should notify me on time as you know there are many filters are used on mails and you mails goes to some of spam folders and you should notify me by cal immediately after sending the notice. As well the society is not allowing third party due to which we was not able to access the club house and we spent our money to make a direct aggrement between tenant and owner to show in society and now in sudden just after 2 months you are saying i need to vacant the flat.

                    Sorry to say but that's a totally humilating and supressing behaviour and for that i am going to consumer court.

                    As well this give me clear image about the services of nestaway and i am not gonna use nestaway anymore in my lifespan. Also try to spread this new across so that people will come to know about this surprising service of your and things are not ended in a good way i will also send a court notice against this eviction

                      Few issues with the smart lock
                      1. There was no intimation or information passed to us either thru msg or area manager to change the lock
                      2. There was nobody at home when the lock was changed. I was locked out of the house for almost half hour till the issue was sorted.
                      3 the area manager failed to teach all the flatmates how to operate the lock on time.
                      4 there are people working in night shifts and were not informed about the lock it has become a huge nuisance for all as we are having to get up in middle of the night and struggle to open the door
                      5. New flatmates who have recently moved in were not told how to open the lock at 2:30 in the night we are having to deal with this issue the area manager doesn't take it seriously
                      6 we have a maid working for us and sometimes there she comes home when we are out at our offices now this is an issue because obviously there is nobody to open the door
                      My question is why were we not told before???
                      Why was no permission taken?
                      Who is going to take responsibility for all the disturbance faced.
                      I request you to kindly solve the issue at the earliest.

                        I just moved in the nestaway sharing flat with bad checkin experience.
                        I had asked multiple times to nestaway team at their hub store about any other charges apart from rent before booking this sharing flat. They had assured me that there will be no other charges.
                        I had paid all initial payment - security deposit and advance rent but still on the payment dashboard some amount is showing pending to pay as assure service.
                        I have not opted this and now nestaway team is saying that it is mandatory.
                        There are other 5 persons sharing this flat and they are not getting charged.
                        If any maintenance and cleaning service will be provided with fixed monthly charge then it should be applicable to all.
                        I do not want to pay this additional service charge as it’s a sharing flat and it’s not ethical or legally correct to charge one person for the service or maintenance of a common flat which is shared by others too.

                          Hi, myself rahul, i have raised a service request for getting a rental agreement with 100 rs stamp. It's been 11 days now and it supposed to resolve in 7-9 days, two times i escalated, 7-8 times i called to customer care. No positive response. Every time, i am getting response like "sent information to the agreement team they will get in touch with you in half an hour or day." but no further response.

                          Attached the screenshot of the service request.

                          To the company: please make sure your customers are getting proper service or if they are happy with your business through some survey.

                          To the company employes: if you can't do the jobs or services to a customer in proper time please get out of the company.

                            Today the Nestaway services people in Bangalore enter the home when we were away and without even informing us changed the locks.

                            This is not the first time this is happening, they had tried to open the door using key when we were inside 2 times before in the last few months. We woke up and came out to check to find three people. When asked how come you are opening, they casually answered that they thought no one was inside. How is this a valid reason? It was good we had the inside latch locked. Else they will even enter in the bedrooms.

                            How can some one enter another persons house like THIEVES. What if we have valuables inside and if it goes missing, will Nestaway take responsibility and return the items?

                            Now they have barged in and changed the locks and just put a notice to download some app to be able to open the house. Don't they have the minimum ethics to inform and get permission from the tenants before doing any activity like this.

                            And when contacted the customer care, they didn't even have the slightest reaction to this kind o[censored]nethical behavior.

                              move out / painting charges

                              Hey Nestaway,
                              I have been charged rupees 15000 as painting charges and i raised complaint over that mean while freshly i received a 6000 rupees bill as a move out charges. First decide and then let me know how much more you would want to loot me.. just because your company is running in losses doesn't mean you will charge anything!! I've approached a lawyer regarding this. Lets see how it goes.. now i'm least concerned about the money...

                              I would never suggest anyone to take nestaway. We never get a service but charged way beyond that. Infact everything happens on time, the rent, owner asking for maintenance charges. But you ask for a garbage to be cleaned or a motor to be fixed or if you are sitting with broken tap at home, doesn't matter they give any damn about it. Once you are inside the trap then you are the mice, now run from one corner to another believe that this side you are going to get your slice of bread.
                              Don't be proud of how many people are using your services, may be they don't have any choices. Be proud when you can say yes i have a better service and my users are happy with it.

                              I do agree with ankit. Nestaway customer Service and executives are very illiterate. I have been locked put from my house because of smart lock issue and waited for 3 hours outside my house. These [censored]ing NestAway people are not generous enough to give commitment and to take follow ups with the tenants. Instead they show their [censored]ing atiitude and talk about affinity. Bloody hell first they should see themselves that how much they are loyal to their tenants. Pathetic expeiance

                                I was promised to get a refund of security deposit of 27109rs. However, i received 17309 only. They had deducted 3000rs initially for painting charges, but they deducted 9800 more without notifying me again for painting. I've open tickets with nestaway to look into this matter, but nobody is responding to me.

                                  There are 20 Flats in our apartment, and we all have separate Electric meters, Nestaway has promise 100% Free maintenance, but they are charging for maintenance also, and we are not given electric bills at all, they have sent has direct link to everyone to pay 1, 406 as electric bill which is unacceptable, all the tenants have different usage and they are getting single bill and divided to everyone, customer care agents are very rude and they are not ready to connect the call to their manager,
                                  We dint have electricity for 4 days previous month as they had some issue with the BBMP, they have mentioned that all the properties are verified but they have not verified anything, we tenants are facing issue every now and then, they are charging for maintenance but maintenance is not at all done, It’s not fair to charge Rs 1406 for everyone, this is a small flat and there is no way we can get so much bill, why aren’t we getting electric bills to us when we have separate meters for every flat,
                                  Nestaway area manager Afroz keeps visiting the building as his frns stay here and he claims that he is not a area manager of nestaway, Mr Rameez, his manager doesn’t respond to our calls, customer care agents just ask us to pay very rudely without even knowing the problem, they don’t make us speak to higher authorities as we have been facing lot n lots of problems since we have moved in this apartment.
                                  Request you to please take it in priority basis and help us get a solution for this or will file FIR.
