We booked a bed in a 3bhk apartment in vashi, plot no. 222 through nestaway's app. Did the complete payment for the same. On 5th of november.
The flat was shown to us prior booking by the area sales manager who promised us that the room will be deep cleaned before we move in. Also, a fresh new set of bedsheet and pillow cover will be provided. Everything will be ready to directly move in. Also, as their app claims you just have to move with baggage and everything will be ready for you. They claim hassle free move in.
However, when we went to move in on 10th, the flat was still not ready. It was very dirty with all the cobwebs and pigeon smell. The windows were broken.. The door knob was not working and the charging point was not functioning. The area sales manager who showed us the flat was not available. The othet guy who was helping us with move in said that the cleaning guy has come who will now clean the house which would have atleast taken 2 to 3 hrs for deep cleaning.
Also, he said about all the broken stuff that raise a complain in the app and it will be resolved after 2 3 days. This is company policy. All these information was not told to us beforehand. This should have been conveyed to us before, so that we could have planned the shifting accordingly. Went thetre with all the bag and baagage and room was not ready to even sit in it. If this is the policy it was concealed from us,
Also, there was a pet dog in that flat. All the other flatmates had kept that dog. This information was also not provided to me else i would have never taken up that flat as i am highly alergic to dogs and doghairs.
It is my right to information that was denied. I am feeling cheated and deceived. When i said i dont want to move in here, they tried and forced me into opting another property of nestaway which was out of my budget and not as per my requirements.
I have cancelled the move in because i was cheated by nestaway. Whatever was promised was not delieverd. Information was concealed. Now they are not refunding my ful amount. They are telling one month deposit and rent of 20 days and nestaway charges will be deducted.
Now, first of all i have been cheated. Secondly all the hassle n trouble of moving with my baage and not shifting. Thirdly i am practically homeleass right now and fourthly they are not refunding my money.
