An eviction notice given to me on 9th jan without any cause which i just checked today as i was out of town. The reason behind this notice is only that i am not booking the whole room as i am occupying only one bed and your property manager (Anand) is not able to find any other tenant who can book another bed. Regarding the same he called me once and talked to me in a very humiliating way that either i book whole room or i will be thrown out of house. Immediately i made a call to nestaway customer care and they said their no official call made by nestaway as well anand is not the property manager any more and regarding the same he said he will send a mail to current property manager.

After that conversation there was no official call came from nestaway side and i thought there might be some misunderstanding and i went out of bengaluru due to some office stuff and then today i got a call that i need to vacant that flat which is completely suprise to me as well not tolerable. I took an internal transfer to this bed on 28th oct for which i paid internal transfer amount as well there was move in amount of 3000/- also and if your team not able to find any other tenant that is not my issue at all because of that if you are throwing me out thats completely illegal. Regarding the same i asked owner also and she is not awared of such things

Either you should notify me on time as you know there are many filters are used on mails and you mails goes to some of spam folders and you should notify me by cal immediately after sending the notice. As well the society is not allowing third party due to which we was not able to access the club house and we spent our money to make a direct aggrement between tenant and owner to show in society and now in sudden just after 2 months you are saying i need to vacant the flat.

Sorry to say but that's a totally humilating and supressing behaviour and for that i am going to consumer court.

As well this give me clear image about the services of nestaway and i am not gonna use nestaway anymore in my lifespan. Also try to spread this new across so that people will come to know about this surprising service of your and things are not ended in a good way i will also send a court notice against this eviction

    Few issues with the smart lock
    1. There was no intimation or information passed to us either thru msg or area manager to change the lock
    2. There was nobody at home when the lock was changed. I was locked out of the house for almost half hour till the issue was sorted.
    3 the area manager failed to teach all the flatmates how to operate the lock on time.
    4 there are people working in night shifts and were not informed about the lock it has become a huge nuisance for all as we are having to get up in middle of the night and struggle to open the door
    5. New flatmates who have recently moved in were not told how to open the lock at 2:30 in the night we are having to deal with this issue the area manager doesn't take it seriously
    6 we have a maid working for us and sometimes there she comes home when we are out at our offices now this is an issue because obviously there is nobody to open the door
    My question is why were we not told before???
    Why was no permission taken?
    Who is going to take responsibility for all the disturbance faced.
    I request you to kindly solve the issue at the earliest.

      I just moved in the nestaway sharing flat with bad checkin experience.
      I had asked multiple times to nestaway team at their hub store about any other charges apart from rent before booking this sharing flat. They had assured me that there will be no other charges.
      I had paid all initial payment - security deposit and advance rent but still on the payment dashboard some amount is showing pending to pay as assure service.
      I have not opted this and now nestaway team is saying that it is mandatory.
      There are other 5 persons sharing this flat and they are not getting charged.
      If any maintenance and cleaning service will be provided with fixed monthly charge then it should be applicable to all.
      I do not want to pay this additional service charge as it’s a sharing flat and it’s not ethical or legally correct to charge one person for the service or maintenance of a common flat which is shared by others too.

        Hi, myself rahul, i have raised a service request for getting a rental agreement with 100 rs stamp. It's been 11 days now and it supposed to resolve in 7-9 days, two times i escalated, 7-8 times i called to customer care. No positive response. Every time, i am getting response like "sent information to the agreement team they will get in touch with you in half an hour or day." but no further response.

        Attached the screenshot of the service request.

        To the company: please make sure your customers are getting proper service or if they are happy with your business through some survey.

        To the company employes: if you can't do the jobs or services to a customer in proper time please get out of the company.

        I had paid the electricity bills via the dashboard as required and now on a Sunday bescom guys came and disconnected the power saying the bills are pending and it shows bill is pending for the last two days. What is going on here, why would I suffer for a delay from the company...?.

          Today the Nestaway services people in Bangalore enter the home when we were away and without even informing us changed the locks.

          This is not the first time this is happening, they had tried to open the door using key when we were inside 2 times before in the last few months. We woke up and came out to check to find three people. When asked how come you are opening, they casually answered that they thought no one was inside. How is this a valid reason? It was good we had the inside latch locked. Else they will even enter in the bedrooms.

          How can some one enter another persons house like THIEVES. What if we have valuables inside and if it goes missing, will Nestaway take responsibility and return the items?

          Now they have barged in and changed the locks and just put a notice to download some app to be able to open the house. Don't they have the minimum ethics to inform and get permission from the tenants before doing any activity like this.

          And when contacted the customer care, they didn't even have the slightest reaction to this kind o[censored]nethical behavior.

            I would never suggest anyone to take nestaway. We never get a service but charged way beyond that. Infact everything happens on time, the rent, owner asking for maintenance charges. But you ask for a garbage to be cleaned or a motor to be fixed or if you are sitting with broken tap at home, doesn't matter they give any damn about it. Once you are inside the trap then you are the mice, now run from one corner to another believe that this side you are going to get your slice of bread.
            Don't be proud of how many people are using your services, may be they don't have any choices. Be proud when you can say yes i have a better service and my users are happy with it.

            I do agree with ankit. Nestaway customer Service and executives are very illiterate. I have been locked put from my house because of smart lock issue and waited for 3 hours outside my house. These [censored]ing NestAway people are not generous enough to give commitment and to take follow ups with the tenants. Instead they show their [censored]ing atiitude and talk about affinity. Bloody hell first they should see themselves that how much they are loyal to their tenants. Pathetic expeiance

                There are 20 Flats in our apartment, and we all have separate Electric meters, Nestaway has promise 100% Free maintenance, but they are charging for maintenance also, and we are not given electric bills at all, they have sent has direct link to everyone to pay 1, 406 as electric bill which is unacceptable, all the tenants have different usage and they are getting single bill and divided to everyone, customer care agents are very rude and they are not ready to connect the call to their manager,
                We dint have electricity for 4 days previous month as they had some issue with the BBMP, they have mentioned that all the properties are verified but they have not verified anything, we tenants are facing issue every now and then, they are charging for maintenance but maintenance is not at all done, It’s not fair to charge Rs 1406 for everyone, this is a small flat and there is no way we can get so much bill, why aren’t we getting electric bills to us when we have separate meters for every flat,
                Nestaway area manager Afroz keeps visiting the building as his frns stay here and he claims that he is not a area manager of nestaway, Mr Rameez, his manager doesn’t respond to our calls, customer care agents just ask us to pay very rudely without even knowing the problem, they don’t make us speak to higher authorities as we have been facing lot n lots of problems since we have moved in this apartment.
                Request you to please take it in priority basis and help us get a solution for this or will file FIR.

                  In the settlement of my final bill post off-boarding my house it is unwilling to pay the rent for the duration your tenants were living. Tenants stayed from 29-Mar to 05-Jun but the company refuses to pay for entire duration. Playing only for 2 months while it should be for 2 months and 8 days.

                  Tenants did not pay the electricity and gas bill which I paid but Nestaway refuses to reimburse.

                  The tenants had damaged the plumbing, furniture and ACs but Nestaway is unwilling to compensate for the damages even though I have the Bill's with me as proof

                    With reference to the service request sc_01917440, inspite of multiple requests from the bank nestaway denies to provide requested details from the bank to settle a transaction dispute.

                    Here is more details on the sequence of events that happened since 1st december.

                    - 1/12/2019 made the rent payment through nestaway app with internet banking and got successful transaction message from bank.
                    However the same was not updated in nestaway dashboard.
                    5/12/2019 raised a service request to update the dashboard with my bank statement with the proof of successful transaction.
                    Then nestaway claimed to not have received the amount though it was a successful transaction and asked me to reach out to bank which i did multiple times.
                    And each time bank has confirmed that the payment is successful and no refund/reversal is possible without nestaway confirming via mail that they have not received the amount for that particular transaction.
                    I had multiple calls with nestaway customer care following up on the same and they refused to respond as directed by the bank.
                    And to add to my harassment nestaway is continuously adding fine every day for non-payment in my dashboard, inspite of having a ticket opened about the same dispute.
                    Hope this reaches to the appropriate authority who can action this.

                      I moved out of Nestaway managed property on 2nd December, 2019 and I'm yet to receive my final security deposit refund. Till date, I've made numerous calls to customer care. Every single time, I've been made fake promises that I'd be getting the refund soon. On 13th December, I was told that the refund had been initiated and I'd be getting it within 3-4 working days. When I didn't get it and contacted their customer care on 23rd December, I was told that it's still being processed and they're still discussing about my previous stay in the previous property for which the settlement was already done 1.5 months ago. This is pure cheating from Nestaway. I need my money back asap. Nestaway doesn't have the right to hold this money with them.

                        I have been charged an invalid amount of rs. 1908.25 by nestaway.
                        Upon contacting them regarding the same there clarification for amount was insufficient.in above i have also been charged for something that's yet to be fixed but still the charges are added.

                          I have been a tenant in flat no.302, sunshine enclave apartments, 487, 38th cross, jayanagar 8th block, bengaluru 82 since may 2017.
                          The initial lease agreement signed by me clearly states that an advance license fee of rs.40000 (Rupees forty thousand only) was to be paid on or before the 5th of the respective month. Accordingly, an advance rent for may 2017 had been collected along with the advance amount of rs.2, 00, 000. Hence, subsequent payment of monthly rent have all been advance payments of rent for the respective months.

                          Yesterday, i was informed that the advance rent for this month, december 2019, was pending. However, the same had already been deposited on the 04th of this month, as has been done every month all these two and a half years.

                          The reference no. allocated to my Complaint is dot1013-ssd. Is this the ticked ID? I felt I am quite clear in my complaint. My point was that ALL ADVANCE RENTS till date have been paid, and nothing is pending from my side.

                            I have booked flat on 10th of december with giving deposit of rs 12000 and broker fees of rs 3000. As per the agreement possession of flat was sheduled on 15th of december. As per the agreement, before getting possession, tenant must give advance rent to nestaway which i already given to nestway on 14 th of december. But till the date, nestway is not allowing me to stey in a house. All document and all money i have already given to them. Every day when i call to customer care and area manager, they told me that i will get possession in next two days. As today is 21 st december, till date i have not get possession of flat. I have requested so many times to give possession but they are not entertaining. They just told me that agreement is not ready so owner is not allowing to stey. They also not allowing me to shift in any other house own by nestaway.

                              I shifted to my nestaway house on 17th of july and have my agreement till 11th of january. On 4th of december i went back to my hometown for a few days and on returning today i. E. 20th of december i don't have anything left in my home. On asking the area manager and going to their nestaway office i get to know that they got confused with room number and opened my room instead of my side room for cleaning and making jt available for next tenant. All my goods are not there or neither they have taken care of including (Induction cooker, a 2tb hard disk, 2 smartphones, a bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and all my apparels). Rounding upto 30k around. It is the mistake of nestaway of having wrong keys for wrong house numbers, this has happened and they are not ready to take blame and they are just asking among themselves and blaming among themselves without any help.

                                My friend and i rented a nestaway property in noida sector 137 on october 2nd.
                                We were assured that we would get the flat in a good condition but there were many issues with lights, plumbing, electricty, and appliances. When we complained to nestaway area manager (Amit), he suggested us to request service from nestaway website which according to him will be done at free of cost as we were not responsible for the damage. But after the issues were resolved we are receiving mails and calls frequently saying that we have to pay the bills for those services. More over these issues were not completely resolved. Area manager asked us to pay 1180rs to transfer 1 unit from back up to main to increase the capacity of meter to which he said we will get a refund immediately. But neither we got any refund nor the issue is resolved. Customer care services are very poor they keep postpoining everything.

                                  Hi this is sriram

                                  I have moved into the house by nov 20 2019

                                  Till now i have not received any rental agreement ( no soft copy or hard copy )
                                  From the day i move in
                                  I not even sign the agreement

                                  I already told the broker who showed me this house that i will stay here
                                  For only 2 months

                                  He not even informed me about the locking period

                                  Now i am moving out by jan 29 th 2020
                                  It is showing that i have to pay the amount of 10050 as fine because i am moving out before the locking period.

                                  And there is no proper information in the app in android.

                                  Even the broker has not informed me about the locking period

                                  Even in the app also
                                  When i have seen the add
                                  There is no info about locking period

                                  Now my request is
                                  Why i must pay the amount of 10050
                                  Without signing the rental agreement

                                  Why i must pay the amount
                                  Without informing about the locking period

                                  And see the app in the android phones
                                  How disgusting it is

                                  There is no proper information in the advertisement they are giving..!

                                  They are forcing me to pay the amount

                                  Kindly see my request
                                  And justify me...!

                                    Made payment for 16909.46 on november 4th through nestaway app and the transaction went through from my bank account but nestaway app showed as failed. Tried again and the same scenario repeated. My bank account was deducted for 33818.92 and i initiated a chargeback with the bank and had a case opened with nestaway (Sc_[protected]. The bank confirmed that the amount was paid to the beneficiary account - and i raised a new ticket with the bank information and the mails from the bank (Sc_[protected], but nestaway is not taking the ticket seriously and shifting blame. The lack of service is baffling considering that if the issue is with the payment gateway vendor chosen by the company, there should be some responsibility to help fix this issue. (Especially considering it has been over a month that the refund is on hold!).

                                      I am an new tenant joined in nestaway home on dec 1st. They have charged 11000 full month rent and apart from that 5500 move in charges saying providing hassle free services providing fully furnished flat. Its been 15 days i have raised ticket for providing bed but they are not giving any response. Called customer support 10 times now same resposne work in progress. Area managers not responding to calls and messages. Posted on social media no use. Paying whole month rent but not getting any services.

                                        Hello,

                                        I stayed in a nestaway 1bhk for about 9 months. At the time of moving in, i paid 3000 rupees onboarding charges & 28k as advance.

                                        I have moved out of the apartment & nestaway has charged me 9000 rupees for painting charges. This is highly exaggerated pricing. At this rate, i'd rather go over & paint the house myself.

                                        Additionally, they had caused issues during moving out with their inspection service taking too long & they had multiple inspectors who didn't know anything about the property. I have had the worst move out experience ever.

                                        Kindly resolve this ridiculous pricing.

                                        I am unable to raise any tickets as your backend team has not even updated the move-out status. I have been speaking to customer support back & forth & nothing has moved forward. You inspector came, checked on the apartment with an extensive list, took my keys & left. Yet the move-out has not even been confirmed by your team. It is exhausting, talking to the nestaway "support" team ever two hours.

                                        Im not even able to raise a ticket against this exaggerated painting cost.
