I am the primary tenant (Resident) of b7 1502, elita promenade, phase 7, jp. Nagar, bengaluru, karnataka 560078. I took this flat on rent from nestaway in january this year. Token money was paid on 27 jan'19, and a deposit of 128000 was transferred from my account to nestaway. I have been living there for past 10 months and i recently decided to shift. The area manager prem ([protected]@nestaway.com) with two of my other co-tenants conspired against me and deleted & cleared all the records from my nestaway account and might have probably divided my security deposit among themselves.

I have all the transactional details and non refutable evidence to support my claim. Kindly reinstate my account as soon as possible.

I do not have a service ticket as every time I raise a request, my ticket is turned to 'Resolved' without any communication. However I can share my linkedin post in which I have explained everything ( Link : https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/how-nestaway-cheating-you-ritu-yadav/ )

I have shifted to property N74023 on 22 Sept’19, Nestaway has taken 4500 for smooth onboarding.
But till now they have not even generated my rent Agreement. I have raised Service Request no. SC_01706589 which is open from almost 15 days and no action is taken even after escalation. Called property manager but nobody is listening.

I have paid NestAway 16200 as security money and i left the house on 15th of last month so NestAway has to give me half month rent and security money
Its been 20 days we moved out.. NestAway is not giving our money back

    Firstly in my dashboard theyadded 1933 without giving any breakup even asking multiple times they closed the ticket acess Amount 5806 has been marked saying repair but while move out manger told 2400 and at the end there was no mention of move out paintng charges which again they marked 9000 and also no support frm their wrost experince as customer

      I was promised that if all the tenants take Assure we all will be charged Rs 125 plus taxes, but they are forcing us to pay Rs199 plus taxes, without any notification for the change in policy.
      All the Tennant's in our flat opted for the services within a period of offer. But, nestaway is not ready to accept, even after submitting the screenshots.

        Policy : https://faq.nestaway.com/docs/assure-policy-document

        Using this policy nestaway is forcefully asking the money from the tenants joining a shared house after feb, 2019

        - the tenant can't opt out of the policy
        - the assured services are not provided by nestaway
        - they can change the policy charges without any consent from the tenants and the tenants can't opt out from the property due to lock-in period etc.
        - if multiple tenants are residing in the shared house only the tenants who have joined after feb, 2019 will be paying the mandatory assurance charges (250/-) monthly.
        - abusive customer care of nestaway who are not listening to the customer grievances.

          Hi my name is [protected]. I was a tenant with nest away. I have given security deposit of rupees 15000 for the premises. When i moved out a guy from thier team has come for the move out inspection and then i was given the move out inspection checklist as per which there was deduction only of rs 150 however i had a fight with that move out inspection guy post which a further charges of rupees 5000 has been charged on my account which is completely unreasonable earlier it was mentioned to either painting charges later they have told it to be other charges none of this charges were discussed with me at the time of moveout. Further a move out charges of 999 was charged where as i had written confirmation that it would be a move out at no extra charges. Further there was some technical issues in raising the move out request which bead informed to the call centre team which was resolved by the call centre team after 3 days but those 3 days were not considered in the move out calculation. Further i have been charged a maintenance fee. I was never informed about this maintenance charges i also have the screen shot of when i was moving in as per which other charges does not included the maintenance charges

            Today i called area property manager murali krishna reddy regarding the mattress replacement. He started abusing me and scolding me very bad words. He is asking me where do you stay i will come and see your end. I called customer care and there is no proper resolution from them. I am really scared about him. He is scaring me that he will come to my flat. Please take serious action against him.

              Hi i am niloy, i am staying in this property for last 1and half years. Every month i have paid the rent on 31st of every month. Since last month there has been some changes in the company i work and that's why my salary will come on 5 working day of the month for more two months. After that it will be back to normal. So i requested for extension to fifth working day, this month it's 7. Just two days no one is helping me. I request please look into this matter.

                It has been 4 months i have shifted to nestaway managed house. First of all it is not a managed property. The tenants are pushed to the property and are left at their own. From the day one i have been handed over the house i have been facing issues in terms of invalid charges and also with the maintenance of the property.

                1. When they showed me the house they said they would fix all the electricals and painting and then hand over the house to me. But shockingly when all the payment process got completed and i came to take the handover the house - it was the same which was shown to me on that day. When i asked why the painting is not been done? Reply - sir if you want the painting then we will do it but we will charge you. For what?? The house should be handed over to me with all the things fixed. The electrical lights and bulbs were broken and they asked me to raise the ticket and fix it. For this again i had to run behind them for a week to get it fixed. (Sc_01390075 and sc_[protected] there was a small structural damage which they told they will fix it and asked to raise ticket from my end which they would do it with their cost. It has been 4 months no body came to attend it. Infact i got a call from nestaway (Person name - abhijit) that they are cancelling the ticket and raise a fresh ticket it has been more than 20 days not a single call or no person came to attend the same. Called the customer care - they asked me to follow up with the guy - when called no response.

                2. I was clearly told by the area manager that for the garbage the tenants need to co-ordinate themselves and pay a nominal charge to the garbage collector of around rs. 30-40/month/house.

                I have been paying to the garbage collector money every month of around 50rs and personally handing over the garbage to them. Infact getting it cleaned from the property itself. So suddenly my dashboard reflects charges of rs. 187 and rs. 200 stating it is the charge for garbage collection. They stated me that they pay the bbmp collector to clear of the garbage from the building. Nestaway not a single day has been providing this service to us. For the whole building each and every family is handing over the garbage and even paying nominal amount to the collector. So where is the role of nestaway in this? Infact they charged me double the amount of the rest of the families residing before me. When i questioned them then suddenly the charges becomes less. One of the false and forceful charge been charged to me.
                Even i have got a written mail from nestaway that the tenants need to take care and hand over garbage to bbmp collector. When i raise the tickets they forcefully close it from their backend and left unattended. (Sc_01628939, and sc_[protected]

                3. The building is facing a water crisis as the boring water dosen't function due to the level of water has gone down. When been asked they say owner is not ready to do anything. The size of the water storage is so small and in that total of 6 families are been utilizing the water. Weekly 2 days cauvery water is supplied. And sometimes we get the tanker from nestaway. On september 12 i paid the full amount of the water charges that was raised to me till august. Suddenly at the end of september they raise a water charges of tanker of rs. 1062 and rs. 944 stating that it is the past due. I clearly mentioned them and told them that i have paid off all the bills till august. But suddenly with a new excuse they tell me that it is charges for august and september as well. They try to close the ticket every time i question them (Sc_01703634, sc_[protected]. Infact i asked them to provide me the details and the dates they have provided us the tanker. They give me a explanation stating the amount charged for each month - whereas i asked them the particular dates they have been providing the tankers. Shockingly they said they do not track the date of supply. What? Then how do they calculate the charges? When i tried asking them they closed the ticket from their backend every-time. We sometimes get the tanker personally and pay the tanker around 800rs. But nestaway stated me that they pay[protected]rs for the water tanker. The water tanker that we get is the smaller one which normally been charged 800-1200 depending on the session. But the charges which nestaway is impounding us is the double the charges and for the bigger tankers. (Even the underground tank dosen't have that much capacity). Also nestaway told me that they not make a penny from the tanker charges. Then why the charges become double and why they do not have tracking for the tankers. Then whom they are paying the amount to? And why should we paying for the problem which is not been fixed by the nestaway and the owner.?

                4. All the families from the building went to the nestaway office stating the invalid charges they are putting on us. They said they will remove it and in fact they will take care of the issues in the building. The underground and the over head tanks were totally filled with dirt. So much dirt that the water which we were using on daily basis was completely mud. They had given us in written that they would fix this and even they would put a cover on the upper tank which was missing. It has been more than one and half months and even after follow up they ignored us. Ultimately all the tenants in the building had to do it from their end. When i questioned the nestaway people they told me if i am not happy then i can vacate the house. This is the language they speak to me when i tried to reach them, but they are not ready to resolve the issues that we have been going through.

                5. There is always a issue with the electricity bill payment. Nestaway said that they would pay the electricity on their behalf to the BESCOM and then in return charge us. The nestaway recurring payment team is so much negligence in their activity that my connection was been disconnected by the BESCOM and I came to know that nestaway did not pay the electricity bill which was due from past tenant. After getting harassed for the same they told me that they have paid to BESCOM. After my own study I came to know that nestaway is paying for some other ID which does not belong to me. Then again after followup they changed the same and paid. Again after that month nestaway charged me in prepaid stating that they have come up with new policy and they will be charging us before the month. Shockingly nestaway even again failed to pay my electricity bill. When I went to their office and asked them why they charged me in advance and then also they do not pay the bill- Answer was may be they missed it. Seriously ? and when I further question them they ask me not to come to their office and if I am not happy then I can leave nestaway. But they are not going to change their process and will continue harrasing the tenants. Again the next month I waited till 8 o Clock in the evening on the due date. And came to know that nestaway has still not paid the amount. I had a pay it because it would lead to late charges. I asked nestaway not to interfer in my bill payment from next time as they fail to pay my electricity. Each and every service of nestaway has created a nuisances and wasted a lot of time, money and energy. Their process is really outdated and the tenants greviances are not been looked after. The property manager never ever visit the property and is also busy in filling the vacat houses for other properties. Never attends call. Would answer sometime may be after calling fifty times and say they would look into the matter. That's it. No one cares about what is the situation the tenants are been pushed to.

                POINT NO. 3:

                With reference to Service request SC_01737791 they are again charging for the water tanker charge which I have already paid for. They are showing me the screenshots (service request SC_[protected] and shockingly the amount of Rs. 1780 was paid on Sep 12, 2019. (Invoice Number: BMGFSCG6WVXX20).
                The level of fraud has reached to heights where nestaway is looting money like anything. It has been 5 days the complaint has been raised on consumer forum and yet I have to receive a call from them. They do not have anything to tell as I have all the written proof and the fraud they have done to me. The matter needs to be escalated and Nestaway should compensate on the time, money and energy that I have put behind them for not providing the services.

                  My sister aishwarya narvaria was living in pune house id 59349 in baner area and due to job searching she find a home again in kharadi area and paid the token amount but on the same day by evening she tried to cancel the same but in nestaway application it was showing that cancellation cannt be done through app so she called customer care and asked for cancellation and refund the amount so they raised the ticket for same and after 5 days continues follow they give the reason that now they can process the same so she decided to leave the same in one month and leaved after completing one month but now almost 15 days crossed nestaway not refunding the amount by giving the reason that dashboard is not showing correct details so they cannot refund the money. I asked them to resolve this so wvery time their customer excutives raise tickets only and resolved the same without information. Kindly help us.

                    I joined nestaway flat three months back. Its said fully furnished flat but a defected mattress is provided to me i asked them to replace but they are denying it. I am facing problem with the mattress. Please help me. I need good mattress. Even the area property manager murali has misbehaved with me. He is a rogue. He is very cruel. When i ask him for mattress he scolded me and put his phone. I raised report abuse but no use. Customer service is very bad. No resolution.

Without any proper resolution they have closed and cancelled the service requests.At the time of my move-in in Nestaway app its mentioned that you can raise any service requests for replacement or any repairs before one week of move-in for free of cost. But now they are charging me, How fair is this?
                    I need justice at any cost.
                    As i was living in the nestaway property for 3 months and i have given them a security deposit which is not yet returned to me please give my money back or otherwise i will be filling a case against you

                      Hi,
                      I booked the pala house (Hyderabad gachibowlli) after visiting the house. My area manager was praveen kumari. He shows me the shared room and told that this two beds are available with power backup and attached washroom. I paid the amount infront of him (15-september-2019) and he confirmed the same.
                      After booking the house i scheduled move in date on 28 september 2019 at 10:00:00 am. I reached there by 10:00 am with my luggage and he came around 10:45:00 am and giving the key of different room (Without attached washroom and power backup) when i asked its not the same room which you shows me on 15-september-2019 then he told yes but now on sharing basis this is the only bed available.
                      Then i told him to change the room its cheating what you shows and what you are giving is different. Then he told you discuss with nest away customer care and left the premises.
                      I called nestaway after long hold of 20 minutes i got connected one of the agent explain the same to the issue to agent. He told i am writing the email to my superior and within 5 minutes you will be receive a call. Since they dont have direct contact number to higher authorities.
                      I was waiting for more than 2 hours then also didn't receive any call. My packers and mover was also waiting outside. Then again i made a same call to customer care then after 25 minutes my call got connected and again they told the same thing. After 30 minutes i received a call from nest away customer executive and she again discuss the whole thing and told that she will call me within 2 minutes but still didn't received any call its more than 2 hours.
                      Again i called nestaway this time after 15 min. I got connected to the agent name sanjay who is sitting in bangalore office. Again i told the same thing to him he told you can cancel the booking. I asked to connect the superior then he told he cant he was very rude he didn't registered a complain also. I told him to registered a complain then he told he can't. He told either you cancel or pay the two bed charges. This is not acceptable. I am trying to reach my area manager praveen kumari also he switch off his phone.
                      I am having all the conversion audio clip. I am going to lodge this complain in consumer fourm.
                      They all are cheater. Now i booked the hotel and looking for another property.

                        I'm tenant in nestaway from last 5 months and just moved in to new house. I paid the complete amount and moved in to new house. Now they are asking me extra money without any reason.

                        They are charging me dth service (I never used and never made any service request for it). Even their tv was not working i never watched tv in 5 months. When i said these things to them then they changed their statement and said we're charging it for mattress. But mattress is in good form. They are charging electricity bills two times. And some more extra payment they are asking. Please look into it

                          It's just one and half months that i shifted to a nestaway managed house. I am facing water issues every single day, also raised a complaint to fix the water motur, followed up more than 10 times, but didn't get any response. Till now it's not fixed. Also the property manager is not responding, everytime i call him, he either disconnect my call or makes him phn unreachable. They don't even bother if nesties are suffering due to non availability of water. They will left with no other option but to follow up with them and hence getting no solution. Also, the most surprising thing is that the owner is intervening in each and every thing way too much.. He is directly contacting me and harrashing me for irrelevant things. When i asked asked help from nestaway regarding this, they didn't show even for a single time..

                            Can easily identify that there is problem with the water bill invoice and i am not sure why they are not taking any action on this. Is it nestaway charging this much amount? Or the vendor? Whosoever it has to be rectified by nestaway.

                            On an average, the water bill comes around 500 inr for 7 days but in the invoice for 4 days (19/7/2019 to 23/7/2019), you guys have charged 2700 inr. How is this even possible?. Please verify the bill as attached.

                              My son took apartment in bangalore under nestaway.
                              This is single bed apartment. Nestaway collected advance payment as deposit and my son used to pay rent. This nestaway fellow not maintaining building good always used to collect hidden charges.
                              They had collected water charges which was not discussed in the beginning.
                              My son stayed for three months, due to problem of collecting more hidden charges he has vacated his house.
                              At the end nestway cheated my son by not paying advance money saying that all money was adjusted due to following
                              One month rent taken for not completing six months tenure.
                              Rent was taken after his vacation of house.
                              This cheating we came to know after their communication at later stage. The above deduction they had never informed at early stages and also not just-able and not in practise in other realtors and not best practise, this shows looting public money by un justiable manner.
                              Please be careful with these people.

                                I am staying with nestaway since last 1 and half year. Since last 6 months i am facing a lot of issues with nestaway. During my whole stay duration up till 1 year, nestaway was paying the electricity bills and updating the same on my dashboard but since last 3 months they assured us to pay and haven't paid the bill because of which me, with other 5 flatmates who are girls are staying without electricity since last 2 days and we have called almost 100's of times to nestaway and every time we talk with a different person, explain them the things from starting all over again and then the responses from each and every person every single time is different. They made us to wait for 2 and half days almost giving false promises. When i asked them to give in written whatever they are saying, they denied. They are a complete fraud and i just want their should be some action taken against them.

                                  I have filed a complaint (Ticket id sc_[protected].5 months ago about vacant bed. I followed for 9 straight days calling you every day and i got a standard response someone will reach out to me within 24 hrs. No one contacted me. I was charged for lost key where as you have the key and there is no tenant. Now i found a tenant on my own and i asked confirmation from you (Ticket id sc_[protected] that you will not charge me for the tenant finder fee. You didn't revert back on that request as well for a simple question. Now out of frustration i have asked (Ticket id sc_[protected] for offboarding of my property to get out of the contract. I have no trust that this will be worked on. I want to ensure i have given enough notices to you before i look for other options.

                                    Hi,

                                    It is almost one and half month when i moved in this flat. That time wash basin was not there and i was assured by area manager (Manish chourasi) that it would be fixed within a week. After that new area manager (Surya) came. I requested him again and again to install the wash basin. Finally after two week he raised a ticket. And till now you guys didn't install wash basin. I have repeatedly called you guys to fix the issue and provide me a solution to it but no luck on that part as well.

                                    And as i know if i am unable to pay rent on time i had to pay 500 extra. On this basis nestaway is super late.

                                    So i need discount in my next rent. Please take necessary action against the person who was handling the request and the vendor. To assure me this will not happen again.

                                      Have been paying every month to nestaway and for the past 4 months electricity power bill on time without fail.
                                      Nestaway has charged me extra 5361 as fine because some one from this building did some illegal power connection, and caught by bescom and fined. Instead of taking fine from them, nestaway is taking fine from every one in the building. They are adding amount every month in dashboard.

                                      I can provide a proof that i have paid every month for the past 6 months i have stayed in their property. I have paid directly to nestaway. They do not respond to your service request also clearly.

                                        They are doing an illegal activity by asking me to move to a property for which i didn't pay the deposit for. Because i have complained them about the security issues. This is my second stay with nestaway in the same area but a different building and this is the 3rd incident. The problem is with the area hence i decided to move out as they have failed to provide security to me.no cctv and wathmen in the building. The resolution they gave me is that they have spoken to the watchmen to be vigilant at night..the question is who did they speak to if there's no watchmen on the building. I attached a picture and told them that there's no watchmen and now they are asking me to move to a different property in the same area for which i didn't pay them. Not only that they gave me dirty house to stay. I paid them for assured services but in spite of that i had to arranged a cleaner and paid them from my pocket. Leaving everything aside when i had people at late night outside the door banging the door and abusing they did not take any action and coming up stupid resolution. They are telling me to move to a different house. I have not paid them to stay in the other house and if i had to do that, i could have booked the other property in the first place.. Now even if i move to a different property with them, I'll have to pay a higher rent.They are deducting my security deposit for their issues. Their customer service and staff are misbehaving with me. I do a small job came from a different city to support my family but they are instead putting me through a turmoil. Such illegal activity and so openly they are doing it.. Every complaint i go through tenants are just saying they're made to pay extra charges and nestaway deducting security deposit for no reason.. I paid the electricity bill for the previous tenants so that there's no disconnection. And now they are making me go through this. Such fraudulent activity should be taken care of. Not recommending this company at all.. They are all frauds. Attaching the screenshot of their fraud activity and the stupid resolution they gave me for a critical issue like this. Please help!!
