Dear all,

My name is ankur srivastava. I shifted to delhi from ahmedabad for a new job. I rented a room through nestaway. I moved in to that room on 19th of nov. 2017 paid 20000 rs. As security deposit with lock-in period of 6 months. It has been almost 20 days now, there has been no repair works which they promised before renting the apartment that they will get it done in a day or two.

Apart from this, they did not handed over to me any rent/lease agreement. I needed the same to submit it to my new office as a proof of local residence. When i started doing regular followups and escalated the issue on social media, they handed me over a forged rent agreement. The agreement did not had the signature of the landlord, it was a xerox and even then it was having a stamp of notary public. The stamp only said "attasted" and "notary public", it does not even had name, registration no., license no. Etc of notary public.

When i asked them that i will file a police complaint about forgery of a government document, they snatched the forged lease agreement from me forcefully and told me that this was a mistake from their executive and they will arrange a fresh one.

They are not even giving me email address of any concerned authority whom i can write emails to do a written communication over the subject.

They have handed me over a forged government document which a serious punishable offence under ipc and other appropriate laws. I have lost my faith over nesaway. I am sure that these people are new age land mafia.

    I had raised a service request on oct 14, 2017 regarding an incorrect maintenance billing. Never received a proper response regarding the reason for billing. I had to reopen the ticket again on nov 20th, and i have escalated the request until the 4th level (The last level possible). Despite calling customer care every two days, i get a default answer - "it shall be resolved in 48 hours". I still haven't received any response regarding the status of the service request. Very poor customer care service! A highly inefficient company nestaway is!

      I, ishan bhandari have been living in a nestaway flat for the past 3 months. I've been paying 11, 000 per month as rent and already paid 22, 000 as security and 575 for police verification. The address is 2nd floor, c1/50, safdarjung development area (Opposite chhoti gumti). It jas been named sanjay nest (In name of the owner sanjay mehra). I took a room here and was supposed to shift on 1st september, 2017. When i arrived that evening, i found that the fall ceiling of the room was collapsed (Images attached). Fortunately my roommate was not here or he might have been seriously injured. They gave me another room which was much smaller and claimed that they would get mine repaired in a few days. After calling them for a number of days, they replied that the problem had to be fixed ny the owner who lives in bangalore. Even after repeated reminders, they did not answer our calls at times and asked for another few days. Finally the owner came and got it repaired by 20th of the month. We had to cope up in a smaller room for which the rent is 10, 000. We did not get any refund. Few days after shifting in our own room, there was seepage again and it started getting worse. When i came back after the diwali break, it was even worse. Nestaway executives vaibhav duggal and mayank tripathi were reluctant to answer us. It was 3 weeks ago when i came back from somewhere and saw that part of the ceiling (Outer surface) at the side had fallen. We were again lucky to not be present in the room that moment. This time again i called mayank and sent him the images. He did not reply for more than three hours and did not receive my calls or cut them for 7-8 times. When he picked it up he was rude and told me that he had done is job and i was not supposed to bother him. He challenged me to do whatever i could and said that i won't get my security back. I mailed nestaway about this problem but they too just converted it to a service request and it has been 3 weeks since the status is work in progress. We have a been paying rent on time but still we face a lot of issues. There is leakage in a few more rooms and nothing is being done. Everybody wants to move out but nestaway would not refund the security. We have faced issues with the electricity bill also in the past. The representatives are very rude and don't know how to talk to people. I want my security back with damages as it has become too difficult to live in such a place like this. I hope i have explained well and the images say it all.

      Please do it fast as the conditions are getting worse day by day. I don't want an internal transfer to GK or Saket. I just want the security money refunded to move out of here. It is my exam time so please try to get things done fast. This room needs complete renovation and you won't find another tenant in any case. I cannot adjust anymore here.

      Where did you guys disappear! Please do it fast. I just want my security money back that's it. It's been over a month now. I cannot live in such conditions. You've been calling me for the same thing the last three times. I have already said I don't want a transfer in any other area. You just need to get this room fixed and you will get tenants easily. Just look at what you promised and what you have given. At least give me a contact number so that I could ask why no action has been taken yet.

        My flat agreement (C-901, silver stone society, handewadi pune) is pending from last 4 months, after complaining to mr. Vinayak (Nestway), instead of accepting the fault, using threatening and rude language to me. Which is really not acceptable at all and planning to go for legal against nestway technologies for such behaviour with their customer.

          The most immature and useless customer support. They really don't care about their customers its always about money and how quickly they can wash their hands off. Seriously! They should consider changing their caption first.

          I'm staying in one of the nest away properties for the past 8 months and there has been no single month went without any issue with nestaway. Only way to communicate this no sense-of-responsibility folks is their stupid customer care support. This company has alliance with another fraud company hathway who's customer support is equally annoying and useless.

          We had requested the hathway to suspend the broadband connection until further notice, they agreed and created a service request (God knows what that is) but nestaway kept receiving bill from pathway for the suspended connection. They paid the bill on our behalf and updated the dashboard.

          The total amount of bill paid unnecessarily was ~10. Which is being charged on us just because you don't use your brain, you have a tenant and you asked them to maintain the broadband then why pay the bill without consulting with them?

          On top of these bills which were charged on us, the customer support executives responses are so unprofessional and annoying.

            Nestaway issued an evacuation notice on 6th october, i left the nestaway property on 4th november 2017. I have paid all the rents and bills, everything is cleared with the owner but security money is not refunded yet. Security amount is rs 13000. As per policy evacuation notice is generated by nestaway so as per nestaway policy they are supposed to refund the security amount in 10 days but its already been 25 days.
            I am left with no option other than to go legal against you guys. Everything is mentioned in the legal document.

            I have already communicated to Nestaway team but no one is listening, no response from anyone. Nitin Arora, regional manager Noida, he told me that as Evacuation notice is from Nestaway side so no amount will be deducted from Security amount and all the amount (Rs 13000) will be transferred to my account within 2 days on 22nd November 2017 but its been 10 days, they are not even picking up the phone now.

            I do not trust on Nestaway at all, you guys are tarnishing your brand value which you have gained a bit after lots of hard work.

              Hi i am a resident of n7274 sunny penthouse. I paid 17, 130 while boarding. However due to negligence of nestaway i was forced to move out of house since my roomate posed a threat to my safety. Nest away dint take any action against the issue. Now i've moved out due to terrible security services and nestaway is charging me whooping 5600 as moving out charges and 1350 as notice period charges and 2k as move in charges. This is outrageous!
              I moved out on 17th but nestaway sent for inspection on 25th and charged me till that date.
              First off due to ur negligence i had to face a lot of issues from my roomate and now ur charging me for moving out. I am moving out due to discomfort and issues caused by nestaway's negligence.
              I do not think i should be charged for moving out due to discomfort caused by nestaway. Besides nestaway owes me for terrible safety and security services.

              I joined nestaway thinking it was safe but they proved to be exactly opposite.
              I'm only getting 4400 back out of 17, 130.
              Ive only stayed in this house for 15days!!!

              12, 900 for 15days in an insecure unsafe nestaway house is totally not worth it.

              Did you get any solution for your issue?
              I have been informed that the Owner of Shiva Kuteera, Mr Hemanth has offboarded the property from Nestaway in June month then why I am still receiving reminder messages and mails from Nestaway regarding paying the rent of July, 2020

              Even I have mailed you to settle the security deposit on priority basis.
              After a long follow up of 4-5 mails I received a short note from Mr Suraj that too without any solution.

              Request you to expedite the process of refunding the security deposit 100% without any deductions.

                Others invoices are tagged to me. If i am not raise a request then they are charging. Why should i raise a request if they are doing mistakes. I don't know they are doing mistakenly or deliberately. It is observed more from april 2017 onward.

                If you want to send any one out of nestaway tell them directly, don't force then to vacate by tagging these unwanted bills/invoices.

                If we don't raise now they will charge during move out. We are not able to come out of charges once tagged.

                  Your representative abhishek seems to be so buzy, that i need to take appointment from just to talk and it seems he is judge, on every call he gives me a date on which he will speak to me. Its been 2 weeks i have been waiting for his call and when i call him, if in case he picks it up then provides me a next date or else diverts my call.
                  My actual concern is, i have been charged late fees for few months, which is because my salary is transferred on 7th of every month, abhishek told me while i was about to enter nestaway that he will take care of this and waive the late fees, i needed to remind him when i will leave. All fine!! And now when am about to leave, now he is not responding my calls. Now your notice period us 10days, and since last 15 days am trying to contact him, so who is suppose to pay the rent for these 15days. You guyz just seem to be fraud. Before joining nestaway i heard many complaints about you, but still thought to give it a chance, but it seems the reviews were actually correct. I guess the next city i move in i will not take any nestaway home ever. There were many fraud complaints against nestaway, so you people arw actually fraud.

                    I paid the rent through neft and it was successful but then also they deducted extra amount and its been more than 20 days they have not taken any action. I have provided the bank statement also along with the screenshot where the amount was transferred. But it seems they are not afraid of anything just doing whatever they want to do. Its like once you enter to the zone they will harass you take your money and when you leave they will not refund the deposit also. Disgusting service from nestaway. No person to contact in case customer care can not resolve the issue or intentionally created problem by nestaway.

                      Been staying in rented house for 8 months that i took from nestway. And i vacated the house on nov 1 2017. They have 60k security deposit with them and now they are refusing to give it back. I called them lot of times but everytime they have different story. This is just a fraud.
                      Please ban this website and everyone should stop using it.

                        I am leela prasad and have taken a bed in anriya apt on 10th nov 2017, bangalore house id: 9504.

                        When i visited, the room and mattress was not clean and smells, and was told that i would be given in a neat and clean condition when i join. But was not cleaned properly.

                        So, i raised 2 service requests sc_00133855 and sc_00134625. One for room cleaning and other for new mattress. Both are in level 4 escalation and no one responds to these. Called customer care for multiple times, yet no response. They have taken money from me and not provided the aspects those were agreed on.

                        See the pictures attached after they have handed over the room to me. Mattress smells and dust raises on hitting it.

                        Please look at this issue.

                        Is NestAway going to resolve SC_00133855 or not? If so, When?

                        I cannot wait for unlimited time frame. Already more than 1 month passed without any progress with responses like "We are working towards resolving the issue" etc

                        I am asking time frame, If at all NestAway is willing to resolve.
                        Why there is no response for my previous comment.

                        Got call from a vendor and was asked to clean sofas it seems.My issue is dirty Room and bathroom which I attached pics in ticket 00133855. Is Nestaway confused?.
                        Vendor said that he needs confirmation from Nestaway for cleaning bathroom and same is pending from Nestaway from past 2 days. Can anyone from Nestaway spend atleast 1 minute time to confirm this?

                        Believe me, I was tired by calling and following up with Nestaway to bring to this stage from more than a month. Please show some pity on customer and confirm which allows vendor to start his work.
                        Finally a person from Nestaway came and cleaned bathroom. This is such a pathetic service where bathroom was cleaned after 45 days of raising request and spending lot of energy. Nestaway had to arrange for cleaning bathroom as this is their responsibility and had they done this as soon as request was raised, I would not have suffered for 45 days. This is a sheer negligence and irresponsibility from nestaway team.

                          I have paid my rent on 1st november 2017, still my rent is not updated in dashboard and they are asking me to pay due along with the rent amount, i have called them 5 to 6 times still they are telling they will let me know and one of the guy is telling me the finance team has not received the money yet. I transferred through neft and when i call to bank they are telling me the amount has transferred to the beneficiary account. I will attach the screen shot of my transaction.                             I have been staying with nestaway hyderabad from past 1 and a half year. It has been a roller coaster journey.. With ups and lows.. Their customer support has always been pathetic. Now they have introduced a new rent payment mechanism which they themselves can't track. I have paid rent. Still they cannot update on the dashboard. Even after calling cc numerous times and raising service request nothing has been changed. I am tired of nestaway now. I would like to rather move out than bearing anymore torture here.

                            There was Nestaway initiative on replacing the rented furniture to their own. When they replaced all furnitures, they dumped their second hand old furniture in our house by taking all good furnitures. They degraded all furnitures. Worst thing is they replaced fridge with worms inside the freezer tray and they asking us to use the same.

                              My name is avisekh lahiri and i am currently a tenant through nestaway.
                              I have paid the rent through their payment gateway on 3rd of nov 2017 but it is still showing my nest away account dashboard that i have rent due and they have also imposed a fine of fine of rs.500/-, i had raised a service request on their website on 3rd nov but till today it is not resolved. I had made multiple calls to them but nothing is done i have also submitted my bank statement which reflects that i have made the payment on 3rd nov well before the due date which is on 5th of every month.

                                Recently i decided to stay in noida near my office to save time. I decided to go with nest away and after checking the images and talking to the sales manager i booked the room and paid 16500 including 2 months security deposit i. E 10000, 1-month rent i. E 5000 and onboarding charges i. E 2000 and schedules my move in date 5th november, on 5th, the verification guy called me and said i will not be able to come to ghaziabad for your verification so we will do it on monday at your office, he came and get the verification done. I moved in on monday at 8:00 pm. As i entered the room, i was shocked to see that a slum would have been better than this. Wall damp everywhere, there is no toilet seat on the commode and there is no pipe in the washbasin, and most of all there is not handhold tap and jet in the commode.

                                Now the problems are as listed:

                                Geyser not working.
                                No toilet seat on commode.
                                No jet spray or hand hold tap on the commode.
                                The washroom was dirty like hell.
                                There was a dead lizard in the washroom cupboard.
                                Dirt everywhere, even on the floor.
                                The kitchen was dirty like hell.

                                The sofas in the hall area were missing or taken over by the other tenants.

                                Now i want to cancel the agreement so they are saying that they will deduct the rent for the days i stayed as shown on the website 5th nov but the actual date is 6th now and the onboarding charges and according to the website they are paying back 13500, they are deducting almost 4000 rs for a night stay.

                                  Every time you call nestaway customer care, they just give cold response. They have same answers for the all the queries, we get back to you, and they never did, they have deducted rs. 5000/- for electricity charges.
                                  And not providing any details to it. Its almost more then 2 months. Not getting any response.

                                  They should publish their manager's email id / contact details so that we can raise our concerns.

                                  Support at the ground zero. They only active till the time you looking for flats. Once you get it, they are invisible.

                                  App is only for tenant, once u left you not able to see service request update. Which customer care doesn't understand.

                                  After calling customer care executive says "we are transferring you call for feedback, but it didn't get transferred".. I don't know how they taking and updating against feedback.

                                  I really say no to nestaway.

                                  I had logged a service request related to unexpected adding an amount to my dashboard for Electricity Bill without my intimation and without providing any bill details.
                                  This service request has been escalated to Level 2 but still I didn't get any resolution.

                                  This has cost me additional 1805 INR .

                                  Kindly look into this matter.
                                  It's been 4 months we are facing wifi issue we raised complaint 4 times but still no action has been taken I am pissed off with their irresponsible attitude. Instead of taking any action forcefully they closed our service request without resolving it . These things are impacting our live here plz help

                                    As i got a mail stating i need to move out and take internal transfer i took it but the next day i moved out i got to know the house is not getting off boarded and i got confirmation from them on call and personally so i stayed back now after 5 days some one calls and says we cant hand over the keys and tell everyone in the flat to vacate the flat as the house is getting off boarded and no proof of things going just drama and charging us for internal transfer and asked me to pay the november month rent which i was not staying in the house but simply charging to rent and doesn’t solve any problem.

                                      I am a resident of hyderabad. I used to work at a company in begumpet and recently switched to one in hitech city. While travelling through the city the company is about 19 kms away from my home, it takes 90 minutes at least to travel. So i have to take the orr to commute to work which is 40 kms one way. It is neither cost effective nor time effective.
                                      I decided to rent an apartment nearby my office, at walking distance from office. Nestaway showed an apartment that matched my requirement. I went to see the apartment on around 18th oct 2017. The nestaway agent (Pranay) took me to the apartment. As soon as i entered the room i was going to be given, i could smell cigarette smoke and was concerned as i can not tolerate smoke of any form. I asked pranay if smoking is allowed in the apartment. Without saying anything on whether smoking is allowed, he just said that the guy who smokes is going to leave. I believed him and went home. After going back, i made a booking on the apartment and made a payment of a total of inr 18, 726 and they gave me a move in date of 29 oct 2017.
                                      On 29th, i went to the apartment with all my luggage in my car, went in to meet and greet my new roommates when i was shocked to see the whole house was filled with smoke. I confronted the person to avoid smoking in the house but he said he wont stop smoking in the house. He was very rude and talking to be badly. I immediately talke to nestaway manager who tried to intervene but the roommate talked rudely to him too. I realized there was no point in talking further and went back home for the night. The nestaway manager assured me that they will talk to safety team and make the bad roommate vacate. It is day 6 today and i havent been given a place to stay. With such a bad experience and absolute unresponsiveness from nestaway, i have understood that they dont want to help me find a place to stay. And even if they offer me a place to stay now, i will not accept. Therefore i want a full refund of the money i have paid.

                                        I got a nestaway room on rent in april 2017.
                                        And got notice from nestaway to vacate the room within 5 months due to their contract problems with owner.

                                        As per the agreement nestaway should give 1 months rent amount as a breach of the contract.

                                        But instead of giving anything in return nestaway deducted 10000 from my deposit as move out and renovation charges.

                                        I complained on nestaway dashboard and escalated upto highest escalation level.

                                        But service request is still in queue and it’s about 2 months.

                                        I called customer care but no resolution.
