I moved into sector 50 noida through nestaway last month. And i and my roommate both have been misinformed by area manager ankit chaturvedi. All the terms and conditions mentioned came out to be false. Owner have their own conditions which were not mentioned before rather miscommunicated by ankit. Too many irrelevant restrictions by owner. Who can't even let your family members visit and stay of same gender. They always keep an eye where you going and from you coming who is coming to meet you. This is intolerable.

Also, none of the complain is answered by any nestaway people. They never pick up the call or reply to any of the complain. This is ridiculous that you are keeping your customers uninformed and false information is given plus never entertain any of your complain.

I referred one of my friend for which i was supposed to get referral bonus which i didn't get. For which i raised a ticket and no action was taken.

Out of all this there a lock-in period which you have to serve for 4 months.

    Move-in date: may 15, 2017
    Move-out date: dec 30, 2017
    House: in noida

    On dec 30, 2017, my move-out time was 4pm. No one from nestaway came to assist me. Nestaway never intimated the landlord that i would move-out on the same date. I phoned 4 times to nestaway customer care to arrange my move out. They gave me the contact number of rahul (Area head). Rahul asked nikhil to assist in the move-out and he came at 6pm. I was already late as i have to catch my bus to home. They all are irresponsible and deducted the maintenance charges for no reason.

    (1) nestaway deducted rs. 250 for the tubelight not working. The tubelight was not working when i moved-in to the house. You can ask other house mates about it. See the documents attached while i moved-in.
    (2) electricity bill for december 2017 was deducted which is rs. 1000. I already paid my electricity bill of rs. 457 to the landlord. See the bill attached.

    The total deducted amount is 1250 rs. Credit it into my account.

      I am having the worst experience staying at nestaway. They are the most irresponsible people ever. I shifted about 3 months ago and i have been raising their so called service requests again and again regarding my issue. They have not provide me my cupboard keys since then. I have called their customer service many a times. I have escalated my issue in their portal like 100 times. They do no respond. How the hell am i supposed to keep my important things in the cupboard. I have also called the area managers. All in vain. Never rent a house through nestaway. There is no point of contact to talk to them and the customer service is the worst. How much time does one can take in handing over the keys. I am so irritated with them.

        Hi nestaway team

        I am writing this e-mail after being frustrated by ignorance of your customer support and bad services. I reside at house id - 12657. From last one month, we have been facing issue in our bathroom because of shared geyser whose pipe is being leaked. People living downstairs have also complained to us multiple times because of this leakage of water.

        Can you even imagine how we are managing without geyser in this peak winter days?

        We have reported this issue multiple times but i must say, your services are very pathetic. There is no term like sla or priority of ticket in your dictionary. Tickets get closed automatically without resolution. I have been calling the person responsible for the same but no action from his side as well.

        I am sorry to say that if this issue doesn't get fixed soon, i will have to take the issue to social media.

          For past 2 months i receiving only part rent.

          I am not receiving full rent.

          This in authorised cutting by nest away.

          This is very bad.

          Kindly arrange to vocate my flat.

          Nest away is taking flat on rental and misguiding and cheating flatowners. Thus very very wrong.

            I would have made several call to your toll free number in the last 40 days and have also written multiple emails, and raised a couple of tickets on your app – unfortunately i haven’t heard back from you yet
            Every time i call the toll free number i am told that “someone from the concerned team will call me back” and despite waiting for more than a month, i haven’t received any call

            Yesterday all my tickets on the app got closed as “resolved” with a comment that the “contact is cancelled” with a further request to call your toll free number in case of questions. Which i did – unfortunately the guy who answered, aashirwad, had no clue on what’s going on and promised the same again, “someone from the concerned team will call me back”

            When i told him what has been happening for the last 40 days or so.. He hung up quoting i wasn’t being professional – wow

            My tenants still have no clue about this and i would like to know how quickly can the house be vacated? Ideally given that this conversation started on 6th december, my formal notice ends tomorrow and will like to get it done tomorrow.in case that is not possible, i want to know do you plan to compensate me for the same

              I had moved out on 15th december but still waiting for my refund, when your executive came to me for clearance he didn’t ask me to update any bank details and said refund will be credited to your account within 5-7 days. After 5 days i called to your customer care for confirmation and executive told me that it will be given in 3-4 working days and she didn’t ask for any bank details.

              On 23rd dec i have again called up to your customer care, your executive said we have initiated your refund request but your bank details is not correctly updated so it’s bounced back. She took my bank details over the call and said she is updating it and it will be processed asap.

              Today i again called up to your customer care and your executive told me the same thing that your bank details are not updated so send it via email.

              Now the question if my bank details was not updated in your record then why didn’t your executive told me at the time of clearance? Neither i get any call from your end regarding the same, even after my follow up your executive didn’t ask me to update the bank details. At the time of check in i have provided all the documents including my bank details i have also attached cancel cheque you can check on my dashboard.

              It was really pleasant staying with nestaway but after moving out i am suffering a lot for my refund. I will never recommend nestaway to anyone.

              Please note down below bank details and process my refund within 48 hours otherwise i will start posting on social media and i will also tell this to my friends who are staying in nestaway.

              I have sent my details via dm, please look into this asap.

                I had a move in today at 3:00pm in royal best pg j. P nagar bangalore and when i reached, the executive told me that he doesn't have the keys to the room that i had booked. He told the owner had gone outside and will be returning in 2 hours. He got my signs on all move in documents and formalities. He asked me to contact the owner in 2 hours. When i contacted after 2 hours owner was on his way and i had to wait another two hours. Total i had to wait for 4 hours. Till this time there was no room or washroom available for me. I couldn't use washroom for 4 hours. This is the kind of move in they have given me. They took onboarding charges of 2000 rs and this is the condition. My email i'd is [protected]@gmail.com

                I have already called customer care twice on 30th and service request were already raised that day (sc_[protected] before I got the room keys but I never got any call from anyone from nestaway to confirm that I had settled . I want my onboarding charges to be refunded since my move in experience was very bad .

                  I have rented a room from nestaway technologies pvt ltd. Dated 8 may 2017 to 30 october 2017. On move out they charged me 2 false charges total worth rs. 3500.

                  (1) 2000 for utility bills. I have paid all the utility bills and proof of the same has been submitted to them through their dashboard and their emails.

                  (2) 1500 for ac rent. I have paid ac rent every month then also they have deducted 1500 after moveout.

                  Its already have been 57 days. As per the terms, they should transfer the security deposit within 7 working days of moveout. I have mailed and called them many time. On mail they are not replying and on call they just say.. We will get back to you.

                    I moved in on 8th of december, and my trial period was till 10th of december. I could see in my app that the trial period was still applicable to me and cancellation/notice period will not be charged to me. Before raising the request, i contacted my sales manager (Also my move in manager) and he told me that trial period concept has been discontinued by nestaway 5 months ago and app must be showing wrong information..

                    I called cust care on monday and they confirmed that trial period concept still exists. They called mr. Vaibhav (My manager) and confirmed that wrong information was conveyed to me. Mr. Vivek from customer care confirmed to me that in lieu of this wrong information, i can go ahead with cancellation and cancellation fee/ notice period fee will not be charged to me. He also promised to send me a mail confirmation (Which i never got).

                    On 13th december, i cancelled the move — out request since i never got the mail confirmation. After that i received a comment on my service reuest that i will not be charged the move-out fee (Pic attached). I called customer care again, and mr. Prasanna confirmed that i can raise cancellation request again and i will still not be charged the extra fee as comment on service reques is enough proof. I raised the request again and moved out on 16th of december.

                    I got the refund but the cancellation and notice period fee was deducted from my deposit amounting to inr.21032! I have been repeatedly calling customer care since a week and they confirmed i will get the rest of the refund by 20th december and i have not received any of it yet! They just keep saying request has been forwarded to concerned team, and i will get a callback or something else but i have not received a single callback form customer care ever! They are not escalating the issue, nor resolving it despite their promises. Now i am taking to other mediums like this, then social media and finally consumer court if all else fails. How can their own manager not know about trial period, dont they train their employees or train them?! They just keep telling me its pending approval, how can it be pending approval if mr. Rakesh already sent the approval that the charges will not be deducted and mr. Vivek and mr. Prasanna confirmed on phone seperately (Calls are recorded)! I moved out on their confirmation or else i would not have moved out in the first place!

                      This is a complain against "nestaway technologies pvt. Ltd."
                      They have charged me for some services which i haven't even availed or not aware of.
                      They have charged me rs 3000/- for the cutlery missing in my home which i'm not even aware of.
                      I have even tried calling them but every time they ask me to raise a complain on their website and write a mail.
                      I am done with this now.

                        The deposit amount of rs 16000 was paid to nestaway on oct 5th for an upgrade to the whole room. On november 21st, i requested a downgrade from a complete room to a single bed and the move out date was - 1st dec.
                        They promised to refund the deposit on the move out date.

                        I requested them to send the entire amount back to my bank account and told them that i would be paying my rent, rs 8000 separately to them on the dashboard, which they told was possible to do.

                        In spite of this request, they deducted the rent money from my advance. When i called them up to raise a request they told me they would send back the rest of the advance into my bank account. I had to accept this deliberately. I have had a loss of rs 8000 already and now am expecting rs 7000 back.

                        They have deducted rs 1000 for internal transfer which makes no sense to me, but i am ready to let that money go. But i really need the rest of the money back immediately.

                        Its been 12 days and still haven't received my money back. They do not address my concern.

                        I keep having to call their customer care and no executive has any solution. They keep telling me that they will call me back tomorrow and that never happens.

                        They asked me to add in my bank account details on the ticket and i did. But on dec 6th, they transferred the money to some kotak mahindra bank. I have no idea from where they got this random account number and details. When clearly my bank account is in sbi and i have provided details of the same on the ticket.

                        I have been calling them multiple times and they keep avoiding my request by telling me that the finance team isn't working or they cant do anything over the same call and that they will call me back tomorrow, which again they never do.

                        I need to get rs 7000 back into my account and nestaway has no solution. They do not respond through customer care or twitter or even facebook.

                        I never get an answer back as to when they will give me my money back. Highly irresponsible and it's a huge scam. This shouldn't be how companies are allowed work.

                          This is to bring into your notice about the issues me and my flatmates are facing since we moved into the house that we took through nestaway.

                          I could not find your official id anywhere so i am sending mail on this id and i am really hoping to hear from you.

                          So will like to bring into your notice what has been happening here.

                          I moved into this house in noida sector-29, house id:3021 on 2nd december 2017.

                          During the move-in i noticed the following issues in the house.

                          1) the house was in a pathetically messy situation and it was dirty as hell that there was not a single place where i could even sit.
                          2) the refrigerator was not working and the gate of the freezer was broken.
                          3) the washing machine was not working.
                          4) the wi-fi was not working.
                          5) exhaust fan in the kitchen was not working.
                          6) television was not working.
                          7) every single tap in the house was leaking.

                          I informed the guy with whom i moved in and he assured me that all the issues will be taken care of and he left.

                          Next day i got a call from nestaway team to raise tickets for all the issues in the house since i was new to nestaway i raised tickets and waited for the issues to be resolved.

                          In the meanwhile the housekeeping guy came and the house was cleaned-one issue resolved.

                          The next day the water leakage issue was also resolved.

                          The trouble started from third day when i checked with my area manager that who will address the rest of the issues (As i mentioned i was new to nestaway and did not know the process). He gave me customer care no [protected].

                          I called the customer care people and faced the worst experience ever!!

                          The issue was definitely not resolved and they behaved so rude with me and my flatmate as if they are doing a favour for us.

                          So from 2nd dec 2017 to 9th dec 2017 when the rest of the issues were not resolved, on 10th dec-2017 me and my flatmate (Kritika sharma) spent half of the sunday in explaining our issues to the customer care people and expected some resolution. Again the issues remain unresolved and they started behaving extremely rude with us.

                          In the meanwhile somehow we got the contact details of local nestaway team and requested them to look into this.

                          The lady there assured me that issues will be resolved by monday, i requested her to get the things done by sunday as i am home and the can tell the respective technicians that where we are facing issues with the appliances but she said that almost half of the day has gone so the issues will be resolved on monday and she will take care of the complete process from her end.

                          She also took the confirmation about the technician and the nestaway guy coming to house on monday and repairing the appliances in my absence i agreed for same and gave her the confirmation in writing.

                          Since the ticket from nestaway was raised through my name whole day on monday while sitting in office i coordinated with the technicians and with nestaway for the repairing work.

                          When i went back home on monday i noticed that refrigerator was working however the freezer gate was still broken-issue remains unresolved!!!

                          The washing machine was not working-issue remains unresolved!!!

                          When my flatmate called the lady from local nestaway team regarding washing machine she said the work is done from our end, and this was pathetic!!!

                          After paying my hard earned money for all the amenities i got to use nothing plus the way nestaway customer care and local team has behaved is even more ridiculous!!!

                          If nestaway is so stringent about their rules& regulations about charging rent and security money and move-in charges etc then make sure the nestaway team assures about the facilities provided to the tenants. I feel cheated at this point of time having paid money for all the facilities and getting the benefit of nothing.

                          I am a working professional and calling 10-20 times to nestaway team or to the repairing guys is next to impossible for me.

                          I left an important piece of work right now to write this email to you during office hours.

                          Request you to kindly look into this and if it is impossible for you to get these small issues resolved then request you to refund my money as your team had bluntly refused to do the same. At present the situation of the house is really stressful for me and the flatmates.

                            Nestaway customer care is absolutely pointless. They keep saying the request would be processed we will get back to you. Even after their standard processing time no one bothers to get back to you to resolve the issue. Tenant has to run behind nestaway to get it done.
                            Huge problem is created with my move-out settlement amount. The final settlement amount after their mentioned deduction has not been transferred to me instead only a partial amount has been transacted. Been doing the followup with the company to give me an explanation and its beyond 7 days of their standard processing time. Still no solution and they keep asking for 24 hours to process it. Its been 5 days after their standard processing time that i have been calling them every day.
                            This unprofessional approach from nestaway is not at appreciated and i'm highly disappointed with their services and customer care.
                            Would not recommend anyone to do any kind of business with nestaway to avoid such messy business. Both the tenants and the property owners go through a lot of trouble communicating with nestaway.

                              Hi team,
                              I was staying in kanchan tower-101 punjagutta hyderabad. On the night of 1st dec one of the friend (Girl) of one of my flatmate kawshik was in the room. So nestaway member came in the night around 12:30am. He told me that why you did not complain that your flatmate bring the girl. I told him that i am working in a software company. I came around 8pm from office. I dont have any idea about that. But he was not listening the problem. He told us that give 10000 fine now and just do move out you all.
                              We all flatmates did the move out at the same time (You can check in your system move out time). We gave him 10000 at the same time, i can show you the transaction of 10000 from the atm at that time.
                              Now 4th dec was my moveout date. You guys return only 4800 out of 12000. I want my full money. Let's i did not do complain about that he bring the girl. So already we paid the fine of 10000. Then why you are cutting that much amount.
                              I think nestaway is doing just like thief. My hr asked me that what was your experience in nestaway. Because for it employee they will give some discount. So we can recommed this to all the new joinees. I told her that i will give you feedback after sometime.
                              Now if you will not return this money, i will tell her full incident. I promise she will not recommend any new joinee to nestaway.
                              I will share this incident on the social website also. If you will provide this kind of service i am sure nestaway will be shut down in 2 years.
                              For me 10k is not the big amount. But the way you took money. I will show you how many customer you will loose now. I have many friends in many it companies. I will tell each of them to talk to hr if you will not return my full money. And informed that never goto nestaway.

                                I am a tenant from bangalore city, staying in one of your bangalore pgs in house id-7874.

                                I have been staying here since last 12months from january.

                                The pictures attached below show how the geyser in my bathroom is about the fall. This was observed in the morning today.

                                There is one more picture of another geyser that fell in my neighbours room some months ago. The house was entirely filled with water and there was loss of both water and a lot of property.

                                I raised a request and asked for urgent help. It showed earliest time 7th december, 10am.

                                I also called on your customer service number (After multiple tries got connected) and told them the urgency. I spoke to someone named jayshree. She told me she will update.

                                Point is i have not received any update from both these sources.

                                I can't access the bathroom with the fear that the geyser can fall anytime.

                                I work in a start up just like yours and i have little time to keep calling and asking for confirmation.

                                  It's been more than a month since i have moved out and still i haven't received my refund, whenever i call customer care they always ask me to send the bank details every single time. After sending the details they just say we will talk to the concerned team and will let you know. But in the end they will never let u know. Yes, i did move out after their specified duration.

                                    Nestaway is trying to ignore my calls and complaints
                                    I have been calling for my money i paid to nestaway before moving in as security deposit

                                    Even after set of working days they promise to return there is no update via mail or call on why they haven't done it 'and when i am trying to reach out they are cutting my calls or ignoring saying technical difficulties.

                                      Hi,
                                      Because of a case between nestaway and our rwa, the rwa ppl deduct 1000 per day from our account as penality and the case between them is going on in court. Its been 6 months now that in every few days maintenance people cut our power supply due to short balance. We try to contact them through calls, mails but very rare we get any response from them.
                                      We are forced to live in inhuman conditions from past many months when there is no electricity and we are bound to find shelter somewhere else.

                                      When left with no options after thousand calls and hundred email i have to take this step.

                                        To whosoever it may concern,

                                        I request nestaway to not confiscate a month's rent for leaving the house before six months (As the clause mentions).

                                        The reasons for requesting the same are plenty. Here are they stated in detail:

                                        I received below email from nestaway

                                        We regret to inform you that owner and nestaway have mutually decided to offboard the house you are staying in currently n8279

                                        1) i was promised 24-7 power back-up and was shown a generator (Which still lies in the basement idle). However there is no power back up as such. Ans yes power cut is frequent to add to my worries.

                                        2) i was promised a working elevator as the area manager pointed out to a couple of people working on the elevator when i had moved in. Though there is no elevator and i need to climb all the way upto 3rd floor.

                                        3) the electric motor stopped working. And for almost a month, there was no 24*7 water supply as well. And still water supply is unreliable.

                                        4 the house next to ours is demolished, because of namma metro work and that is not it. After i moved in, a drain construction started and now all the roads that lead to our house are in shambles and its all dirty and muddy. Because of stagnant water everywhere, i suffered from dengue. When i moved in, i was not informed about any of this or else i would have never agreed to the contract.

                                        5) i had to visit close to 10 houses before finalising on this one. It took me around a month to do all this. And the experience with nestaway has been really bad.

                                        6) paint is coming off the walls and the house has multiple open places from where mosquitoes enter. There is no door to shut these open ends.

                                        All the aforementioned reasons are genuine and i have lost faith in nestaway. I already moved out of this establishment and don't want to try for any other house through the app. I will find it on my own.

                                        I request you to kindly waive off the clause from the contract that talks about confiscating a month's rent because i am not leaving this house voluntarily but am forced to leave because o[censored]nforeseen circumstances none of which were told to me in advance and also some of which were just false promises.
