Respected madam/sir, kindly note that the senior citizens are under deep burden as their premiums have doubled. Majority of them are either limited income or are dependants. Do you want our dear parents and grand parents to be a burden. Please look into and help these senior citizens. My parents are your regular customers and have been paying premiums regularly. Last year they paid a premium of rs.22000/- approx for a sum of rs.4, 00, 000/- (Two lak each). But this year they have got a premium notice for rs.53000/- approx with gst. This premium is very high considering they are retired. Hence you ae requested to look into the matter and this will be a plight of many senior citizens. Thanks & regards,

    I have took a policy from agent of New India Assurance he have change my car color from Black to White now am trying to call him, his no has been changed or nobody picking up, this policy i had purchased from Lucknow now am shifted to Gurugram kindly help on this because policy will expire on 23rd March-2018. And as per customer care i have to visit at Lucknow branch for the changes.

      On 15th of november we have registered a complain for the damage of mobile to the insurance company that due to others mistake my mobile fell down and it got damaged on the screen for which i have registered insurance claim to the your insurance company and we have submitted all the documents and has been given to the insurance company in the month of january but till date that is 27th of february i have not received the claim money

        First thing that i am disappointed immediately after opening your this site seeing the customer satisfaction rate is only 2%.
        I doubt how are you going to tackle my this problem.
        Anyways i would like to share my experience with your local office so far.
        My complaint is going since last one and a half month.
        My agent is after my complaint to your vadodara office since one and a half month. I also wrote email to them around 15-20 days back. Neither there is a reply to my email nor they respond to my agent.
        I have emailed to [protected]@newindia.co.in and bindu. [protected]@newindia.co.in on 7th feb, 2018.
        Kindly the needful and try to solve the problem as soon as possible.

            I want to inform to you as per my policy no.[protected] (Subhash chander), i used my policy claim for my accidental fiat punto car, i had paid cash to directly tata / fiat service center, ambala cantt, now after four weeks i have not received my claim amount, i have done all requirements from my end to surveyor, kindly process my request as soon as possible.

              Don't ever take new india assurance
              Very bad experience with the company employee @ irinjalakuda, kerala
              Very bad customer service.[protected], telephone attending person is not good to communicate with customers. She is very rude.2 months for claiming a two wheeler insurance policy.

              The staff or new india assurance general insurance is too rude, they are not active, if you are going to take policy from this company than you have to face many problems.

              No one solution they give you right there, they always said come after 2 days, after two days your work as same as you left before two days.

              Then they will said senior is absent so this happened.

              Sign verify pending etc.
              Don't ever take new india assurance

                Sir/mdm, IRDA is controlling all life/health insurance companies that is issue of licenses to start life/health insurance business & monitor their actvities as per guidelines/terms as laid down in insurance act. IRDA has no judicial powers in respect of consumer complaints. Insurance ombudsman is quasi judicial body to entertain complaints againist insurance providers. Therefore pl approach insurance ombudsman regarding higher tarrif /premium for senior citizens.

                    I have purchased one mediclaim policy 2007. But now the company agent refused to accept the renewal 2018 on plea that company closed down the 2007

                      Om motors, Pune gave the estimated cost for maintenance to the surveyor which comes from the behalf of New India Assurance now surveyor give some other cost after cut short so many things and OM motors told us we will take the maintenance cost as per our given value to surveyor from the customer after that we release car to customer. In the mean time surveyor and OM motors didn't manage the costing.
                      Now, If my car is with zero depreciation then why New India told me to talk to OM motors and force them to minimize the value of costing for repair.

When i called on that no. they give me the no. of Mr. Gaikward, He told me to talk to Kasarwadi branch I called to kasarwadi branch they give me the surveyor no., Surveyor give return back to Mr. Gaikward now Mr.gaikward give me the no. of some lady she told me she is not taking these call and transfered to Manager. after some many call i fed up with New India Assurance service. So kindly help us other wise i have to move for next insurance some other company.
                      Mr. Gaikward they give the Managers no.

                        The claim for rs 2321 was lodged with tpa mdindia health insurance on 8-1-2018. Claim id 3807234
                        Till date i have not received the payment.
                        Tpa customer care dept is not replying emails sent to them.
                        The mdindia website shows that claim is penging for new india assurance co approval which til date is not attended by new india assunce
                        Kindly see that amount of my claim for rs2321 is realesed immediately

                          For the hospitalisation of my son. I presented a bill for Rs 49, 495/-.
                          Settled amount was Rs 712/-
                          Unsettled amount is Rs 48, 783/-
                          It was noticed that New India Assurance has outsourced the settling of the medical claims to a third party private agency (Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd).
                          I do feel that this agency is not settling the claims fairly.
                          We do feel that as a policy holder, we are being cheated by NIA in settling the medical claims.
                          Hence we request New India Assurance top management to look into this matter or I will be forced to approach the Jurisdictional Insurance Ombudsman.

                          For my son's follow up operation, I submitted medical bill to Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd., Ernakulam, Kerala State.
                          For a medical bill of Rs 19, 789/-, settlement amount is Rs 6531/-.
                          New India Assurance is a public sector Insurance Co., and it has outsourced the medical bill settlement to a private agency ie Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd.

                          Sole priority of this private agency ie Medi Assist Insurance TPA Pvt Ltd., will be to deny medical reimbursement to policy holders so that they can enhance their performace inorder that their contract is renewed.

                          New India Assurance is harming the interest of genuine policy holders by outsouring medical bill settlement to a private agency.

                          Hence I request top management of New India Assurance should look into my bill and settle fairly.
                          My mobile claim is not received date on 07/02/2017 application for claim. My Mobile police no[protected] & claim no SD[protected].

                            However, i have not received the copy of new policy neither it is available online.
                            Kindly send me the scanned copy of the policy on e mail & courier the original one to my mailing address.

I have submitted all documents and the claim has been approved after a struggle of 8-9 months. However the payment is still pending. I was told the payt will be credited within 15-21 days. When contacted after 2 months they escalated the matter, but still no progress. Pls advise.

                                Hi team,
                                I am tcs corporate policy holder. I have submitted claim to your tpa mediassist on 28 dec 2017 for my father's (Bhagwanrao maid - mediassist id - [protected]) orthopedic surgery. They asked for few bill break up and i have provided them on 9 jan 2018. Since then i have been following up with mediassists. Via e-mail and phone calls but not resolution till date. I have called them 9-10 times on [protected] (Dedicated for tcs). I am getting one standard answer all the time i. E. “i am raising request to our escalation team they will call you before 6 pm today/tomorrow”. Till now i haven’t received single call from them. Interestingly when i asked about one escalation id 3860005 then they said escalation team called but i was not reachable which is not a true because i have received many calls that day and nobody complaint about no connectivity.
                                My claim amount is 176207/- which is too high. I am paying heavy interest on my credit card. Please look into this matter on priority. Requesting your kind co-operation in this case. If this claim is not settled soon then i won’t have any choice other than lodging complaint to consumer court and irda and any other government authority.

                                  This is with reference to my mediclaim policy number[protected], claim no.[protected]. I have been paying mediclaim premium for last 10 years for my family. The premium which i paid this year was rs. 25000. Recently my wife got operated and the expenses incurred was rs.93967. The claim which was settled by your company new india assurance company was only for rs.40582 which was really shocking. I am attaching the approved claim for your reference. The claim passed is not even closed to my total expenditure. I really see no benefit of mediclaim taken from new india assurance company. I really feel cheated here. The room charges mentioned in the settlement voucher is rs.2300, whereas the amount mentioned by us was rs. 1800. It is not clear how this amount was tampered.

                                  The policy promises to cover the risk of the insured. After paying rs.25000 premium this is what an insured is getting, rs.53385 is the deduction made. The deductions made on surgeon fees and operation charges are really something which the company need to relook. I request you to look into this and revert with the revised claim. This is really not accepted from a reputed mediclaim company like new india assurance. The whole purpose of mediclaim is defeated here. I could have managed this expenses without paying the premium. I am sure that new india assurance also wants their policyholder to get benefited and this loss to me is not what they intended. I am expecting a favorable reply and looking for to solve this issue as soon as possible.

                                    I went to your office with my bike but the office is charging 150 rupees extra for surviver and not giving any recipet for this amount which is illegal, .

                                      The company financial results has been declared recently on bse and nse website in news column but it is to inform that it has not shown in results column whereas all the company results have been shown in that particular column with some specific figures like revenue, net profit, eps etc. It is govt. Company that's why nobody is taking it seriously but the small investor wants to see the results in the particular column. Please do the needful.
