This is with reference to my nextra connection with cust Id 2113346 in Gurgaon, which was disconnected in September 2018. For four months after the disconnection of service, I called the nextra helpline numerous times to process my refund for the same, only to be given a new service request no. every time and being told that someone would call me back from Nextra, there was no call back and the service request nos. were closed by Nextra without my refund being processed.
It has been 2 years and my refund for security deposit of Rs. 1000 is still pending, . I shared my bank details with the support team over email on 31st Jan and have even written to the customer service and operations head Vaibhav Kaushal.
Nextra team isrefusing to pay the refund saying it is for the modem. I have informed them several times that they never issued me a modem/router and instead Betaab, the Nextra engineer who did the installation advised me to get my own. I was told at the time of installation by both the engineer Betaab and the sales exec Sandeep that security deposit is mandatory and refundable. I even called the nextra customer Helpline to check and they confirmed the same. Then they refuse to refund with the alibi that it can only be refunded if I can give them the deposit receipt from over 6 years ago. I didn’t receive anything at the time of installation from their executive. He told me the deposit will show in my account and it does. My account shows in their records that I deposited Rs.1000 towards security.
It is shocking to see that the nextra team wants to create all possible imaginary and unfair reasons to not refund my money even after two years of the connection being disconnected, and not one to legally refund the my security deposit which is due for refund for over two years now.
Requesting your help to pls. help expedite the refund.

Updated by meetaa There is immense mental trauma and harassment that has been caused to me by Nextra while following up with them for two years for a simple refund of security deposit which is rightfully and legally due to me, and was earlier delayed and is now being fraudulently denied stating excuses.
