Nykaa delivered an expired product on 4 October, 2021. The product’s expiry date was July, 2021. This means that the product had been expired more than 2 months before the delivery date. I called the customer care and asked for a refund, but the executive said that because the return date of the order had passed, they will do nothing about it.
As a customer, when you order from a company as big as Nykaa, you assume that you would not be given expired products. Nobody checks the manufacturing date when ordering products in bulk. It’s a reasonable assumption that Nykaa will not deliver expired products. Nykaa boasts about being a platform for luxurious authentic products but is committing fraud.
Because of a mere technicality, you cannot shy away from your liabilities. Your refund/return policy should be modified for certain extraordinary circumstances. Nykaa is definitely losing its credibility.
