I, col surya pal singh rawat, had booked ola cab from pocket -3, sector -8, rohini on 25-08-19 at around 4: 00 pm. The vehicle driven by mr rashid, contact details are +[protected], came at around 4:09 pm. The vehicle was required to go to my destination sector -56, gurugram. After having crossed dhaula kuan and before getting over the first fly over, rashid had received a call from his comrade looking for assistance. He requested me despite being being told that i've a meeting. But, i thought, might as well help his friend who's in a dire need. He steered his vehicle towards rao tula ram marg towards shantipath. I asked him what about the extra damages likely
To be incurred. He politely said that we'll adjust. Anyways, the vehicle almost took 45 minutes, the place from where he had steered his vehicle towards rao tula ram marg towards shantipath and back to the place from where we could resume our journey. On reaching my destination, the total fare was rs 1128/= and i handed him rs 1000/=. I was expecting a return but instead, he politely said "thank you sir" and drove off. Now, if you see the fare from rohini to gurugram doesn't go beyond rs 800/= and if at all it goes then it is most likely due to traffic congestion but not that extent. It was shock to me when your customer care contacted me today stating that i didn't pay the complete amount. Perhaps, you aren't aware how regular i'm on ola cabs and why would i stop paying balance amount rs 128/=. Please guard against these thieves. I'm from mumbai and i'm scared to hire any taxi in delhi but beggars can't be choosers. Please treat matter seriously or if possible stop this character mr rashid before he maligns the image of ola completely. He's not attending to my call ever since this anecdote.
Do you assure me that anytime henceforth I cancel my cab or keep it waiting for 10 mins, I will not be charged a penny?? Then why shouldn't I get the same benefit from you guys when you have failed as an organisation !! And that too not just once, but multiple times !!! I have spoken to so many people today to realize I am not the only one to have faced this issue !!!
This issue is not going to be resolved until the cancellation charges that you apply to a customer for cancellation and waiting are added to my account. I have already raised the complaint with consumer forum. Will not take me much time to start up a complaint against you when so many people like me have faced the same issue multiple times, but no resolutions yet !!! You guys still function the same way !!!
Expecting a quick resolution, not a mail stating the same thing over and over again !! We work in corporates as well. We do know how work is done !!!
