I have been a customer with ola for more than 3 years now. For my rides, i have always, paid by cash. Till date, i have never made a payment by any mode..
On nov 13, i used ola share to go from my office to malathi manipal hospital.
The next morning, on nov 14, i opened my app to book a share to the office. To my shock, it opened to a page, where it showed i had taken a trip and was asking me to pay rs 4285!!! The app remained stuck on that page for 2 days!!!
Also-some card has been added to my account-a card that neither belongs to me, nor has been added by me.

All through this time, post my return from the hospital, i had been in my office.
I immediately called the ola call centre. I got this totally useless customer care advisor called teju, who had no clue about what to do.
He only seemed to have 2 sentences which he parroted endlessly-“ma’am, you only must have taken this trip”. Secondly, “you only have to make the payment ma’am”
I had to educate him to give me the driver name, his phone number, trip details and to try to contact the driver.
He finally saw the light and called the driver-but the driver did not pick his call. After 15 mins of wasting my time, he agreed to transfer my call to the supervisor.
Thankfully, i got a sensible lady called sukhwinder, who again tried calling the driver. He did not pick the call again.
I was told my case is getting investigated. 2 days later, my ola account was blocked and since then, i cannot book an ola.
I placed my complaint on the facebook page and have no response except, ”we are investigating”.
Meanwhile, to top all the embarrassment and harrassment, ola chose to block my account and conveniently closed the ticket stating they’ve asked me for additional details, which they have not.
Today, i’ve spoke to another customer rep called rakesh, who has stated he is reopening the ticket and will try to get it resolved asap.
Once again, i've been sent an email that all this was my fault and that my account will be blocked forever.
What kind of customer centricity is this? Harassing a customer, who is asking for the investigation and rewarding the driver, who chose to run away and go awoi!!!
I need a complete investigation and closure to the case. Please help get this resolved and restore my account immediately!
