I booked an ola cab. The cab called me to ask the destination and as soon as i informed he dosconnected the call. The cab driver cancelled and i had to pay the fee. How is it my fault and why do i have to pay? Service options are available in the app but it can't be afforded and above it extra charges are taken without reasin. This is sheer exploitation. I would want the service to apologise for the inconvinience and my money back.

    I booked an ola cab vide crn [protected] on wed nov 22, 2017. The app displayed a fare of rs 71 after applying coupon discount available. The cab driver followed the route displayed on the map and on reaching the pre-designated destination i was charged rs 220. When i complained (Ticket 73597955 dtd. Nov 22, 2017) and reminded next day, there was no response at all. I have asked for refund of the excess amount charged over what was deisplayed at the time of booking the cab.
    There has been another similar episode a couple of weeks back but i was promptly provided refund on complaining. However i am not getting any reply from ola what about refund!

      On 4th nov 2017, i installed ola app on my mobile which required to deposit ola money 399 in my ola account. I recharged my account with 399 rupees with transaction i'd czzl-uv5j-891c on 4 nov. 17, 10:52pm. I tried to book a cab but driver refused to come and same booking was cancelled. But in my ola money, it is showing a ola cab booking transaction no. Czzl-uxim-3xj5 at 4 nov. 17 at 10:57pm. When driver cancelled the booking and no cab was booked, why ola deducted my ola money with a false booking. I tried calling ola customer care but no one attended the call. It is my hard earned money and ola is doing fraud by showing false bookings. Please take some action against this scam and help me in recovering my money back.

        We were going to family function so i booked ola cab and called driver several times because we were getting late and he came late and then he started arguinment with my daddy.. But then when we reached there he denied to drop us at location and behaved with my daddy and when i stoped him he slap on my face... Please look for this as i have his name and number

          Hi,
          Yesterday i booked ola cab.. But my dropping location was incorrect.. I cancelled cab, ola taken 25 rupees for cancellation.. Its not problem.. Again i booked cab and waiting morethan 12 minute afterthat driver is cancelled.. They taken my time also.. Agin am tried to book ola, my phone was switch off.. I tries to book with my friend.. I got cab.. While enteeing cab driver ask me money.. That time i didnt have liquid cash money.. I said him to give ola money /paytm he refused.. Again i said to driver i will take money from atm and then give. He cancelled..
          It was bad experience for me.. I stopped uaing ola.. I need to register compalaint with them.. They take money, time and also they insult me

            Respected madam/sir,

            This is purely to show that how “customer care service” is failing to solve queries, qualms, concerns and grievances faced by the brands most valued customer.

            A customer not only looks for good service but also a proper feedback and support when things don’t go smoothly as needed. Customer and supplier relationship can only be maintained when there is cooperation from both sides, it’s a two way street.

            As far as my facts hold true, i am not the only one who has been disgusted with such ill-treatment by your brand.

            Below is the link to prove that you have played your a-game of being non-responsive, unprofessional and unperturbed as always in solving concerns of your most valued customer:

            Please take the pains of being there for the customer at least when there’s no fault of the customer to lose service due to your negligence and fault. It’s your role to look into matters to resolve and not to aggravate it to the fullest to make customer more furious about trusting you at the first place.

            Your fellow competitors at this rate do much better with less publicity due to the very same reason i suppose now.

            But i deeply feel dejected at this fact to have put my faith in a brand that could go places, keeping everything aside. One humble advice will be to manually do some work under the sky instead of blaming it all on the automated system that works as the gods eye for you.

            When a person wants to avail your services, you bombard them with questions of all sorts before even confirming to provide service, so why not show the same dedication towards answering queries once the customer has concerns against stuff you yourself cook up as issues.

            To top it all off, i was in an emergency to book an auto/cab yesterday night and to my surprise the account was blocked. All the while, i was thinking it should be a system glitch and i tried restarting the app so many times, finally to just realize i have been stopped from using your services.

            I might have not been a profitable customer to you and as a business call i understand you might need to churn off such clients. But a basic notification at least before the blockage would have been helpful or would have kept me prepared for the worse.

            You claimed that i have not followed the terms and polices put forth by you and hence the account is blocked. Well if the policy or terms o[censored]se stated the following then i truly am at fault:
            -never to be on time
            -to disrespect drivers
            -to never pay for the rides you avail
            -to cancel rides even after waiting for hardly a minute
            I truly feel disgusted by my actions of being on time always and to be polite to the services though sometimes never turn up themselves on time, to have accepted cancellations even after booking on ride later option.

            Please climb down your high horses to empathize what a customer goes through to even put across a genuine query to solve for you.

            Non responsiveness after your constant pre-typed replies also aren’t going to solve issues so please be there personally to solve issues, because if this continues at the rate i see there will be no customers to serve soon.

              I have used ola account mostly in bangalore. Suddenly when i tried booking ola i got to know that my account is permanently block due to violation of ola policy.
              I wrote to grievance cell and the repeated response is due to violations of ola policy my account is blocked and i had repeatedly been asking them to specify which policy have i violated, but their response is same which is not addressing my query.
              I need ola services and my registered mobile number is a permanent number so i cannot change that either.
              I need support for unblocking my account.

                Hi! I’m a regular user of ola and it’s been 2 weeks since my account is blocked due to no known reason. My traveling locations have been the same and there have been no cancellations. As a customer, i’m extremely disappointed with this and would like a response from your side.

                Also, my friend has transferred ₹250 to my olamoney. Please revert it back to his number as soon as possible
                I have travelled in ola cab on Nov 21 from Ramnagar to Lingampally.As per Google map it is just 28 kms but I was charged for 81 kms. I was charged Rs.1277.It is totally unfair .Please look into the matter and refund excess paid amount.CRN [protected].Im a regular traveller this is first I was charged more.Kindly do the needful

                  Actually i was travelling from pimprigaon to techmahindra sharda centre pune. Its hardly 15 km distance. But when i was given a bill its shows 37 km running. And i was charged 650 from the driver. Its a pathetic service from ola. And i have also used the uber& taxi for sure but this never happened with their service. And ola has cheated with me twice. Its a worst service. I don't think i will ever trust ola cabs or their service. And the important thing is that complaint box in the app is only for show. It never works.
                  When I booked ola auto it's shown fare 44rs but driver collected morning 125rs and again evening 68rs really iam unhappy with ola not good for customer ola

                    Hi,
                    I had taken a ride from build tech matrix, aecs layout, bangalore to accenture bdc6a, white field today (22/11/17) morning. The fare shown in the app was rs.52 after applying the code flat60.

                    Since driver's gps was not working, i was telling him the route. Also the route shown in the app was correct while riding. At the end, he collected a fare more than double as it showed in the app (Rs.111).. Also the destination i am getting in the bill now is different. I need the refund of the cash i paid extra because i am charged a fare to some other location.

                    For reference, i am attaching the pictures of invoice for the same trip.
                    Hope you will do the needful.

                      My office is at a distance of 11 kms from my home. Initially ola auto charged rs. 142 – 145 for every ride i took, but last two months i am seeing an increase in price. Nowadays it’s shows rs. 166. So as to check the difference, i asked the auto driver to put the auto meter too, and to my shock the meter reading was only rs. 130. As per the invoice they produced, they say ride fare as rs. 153 + access rate rs. 10 + tax rs. 1.8, so rs. 166, but what i am asking is how they estimated the ride fare as rs. 153, when the meter reading was only rs. 130. Extra rs. 23 here, plus that tax and access rate, they charges me rs. 36 extra for every ride i took in the last two months. When called the customer care they didn’t give a proper answer, instead they say you accepted to pay this amount even before you started taking the ride. I have raised a complaint with them twice regarding this but i don’t think there will be any difference. This is not just my problem; if it’s happening to me then it’s happening everywhere. So please be cautious. Always pay as per government meter.

                        Ola's response:
                        "having checked our records, we
                        Found that your account was suspended due to the violation
                        Of ola cabs policy. We are sorry to inform you that you will
                        Not be able to make any further bookings using this account
                        And the account cannot be reactivated."

                        I am not satisfied with your answer. Ola did not respond to my mail where i asked details. Please explain to the point which policy is violated?

                        Ola says, it was blocked for security reasons. I just had removed my sim card and it was working till yesterday morning with another secondary sim number. My phone has gone bad and i used a new phone with the ola registered number installing ola app.

                        When i changed my phone, it said account blocked.

                        I tried reaching ola over phone at their all divisions, was online for 20 mins on waiting, no customer care executive bothered to help.

                        Can you take this query seriously? I do not want to change my phone number? Have at least some courtesy towards customers.

                        OLA Support team responds below with generic answers, I am not satisfied with the answers provided by OLA. Can " Consumer Complaints " do something here?

                        Can you let me know which of your OLA Policy violations have happened with my phone number that made you to block my Account? I have asked you once and you have not mentioned them, that means you have some hidden truths that you have done from your side.

                        This is not acceptable for a customer that you block a customer's account providing a generic information. So provide the correct information on which violation has happened.

                          This is to bring to your notice that on saturday, november 18, 2017 at around 10:10 pm, i boarded the ola cab dl-1rca 2741, driven by krishan pal, white color hyundai xcent from shangrila hotel to pragati maidan metro station. When the car reached the spot driver asked me for the otp number that came on my mobile. I told him the number; i kept the phone at the side to take out the fare rs 96 from my purse. I got down from the cab around 10:20 pm realising that i have to pick the phone. The driver immediately speed away the car.
                          I got his mobile number at around 10:45 from the customer care i called him. He refused to accept that my phone is in his car.
                          I am sure the phone is with him. Kindly take the action against him. Regards

                            No contact number is available to contact the driver..

                            Contacting ola customer care has been waste of efforts...

                              I have been a customer with ola for more than 3 years now. For my rides, i have always, paid by cash. Till date, i have never made a payment by any mode..

                              On nov 13, i used ola share to go from my office to malathi manipal hospital.
                              The next morning, on nov 14, i opened my app to book a share to the office. To my shock, it opened to a page, where it showed i had taken a trip and was asking me to pay rs 4285!!! The app remained stuck on that page for 2 days!!!
                              Also-some card has been added to my account-a card that neither belongs to me, nor has been added by me.

                              Date of supposed trip - nov 13
                              The driver’s name showing in app-naveen h
                              Time of supposed trip start-3:20 p. M.
                              Time of supposed trip end-10: 53 p. M.

                              Place of trip start-29th main, d group layout, srigandada kawal, annapurneshwari nagar, bangalore 560091
                              Place of trip end - laggere bridge, narasimhaswamy nagar

                              All through this time, post my return from the hospital, i had been in my office.
                              I immediately called the ola call centre. I got this totally useless customer care advisor called teju, who had no clue about what to do.
                              He only seemed to have 2 sentences which he parroted endlessly-“ma’am, you only must have taken this trip”. Secondly, “you only have to make the payment ma’am”
                              I had to educate him to give me the driver name, his phone number, trip details and to try to contact the driver.
                              He finally saw the light and called the driver-but the driver did not pick his call. After 15 mins of wasting my time, he agreed to transfer my call to the supervisor.

                              Thankfully, i got a sensible lady called sukhwinder, who again tried calling the driver. He did not pick the call again.
                              I was told my case is getting investigated. 2 days later, my ola account was blocked and since then, i cannot book an ola.

                              I placed my complaint on the facebook page and have no response except, ”we are investigating”.
                              Meanwhile, to top all the embarrassment and harrassment, ola chose to block my account and conveniently closed the ticket stating they’ve asked me for additional details, which they have not.

                              Today, i’ve spoke to another customer rep called rakesh, who has stated he is reopening the ticket and will try to get it resolved asap.

                              Once again, i've been sent an email that all this was my fault and that my account will be blocked forever.

                              What kind of customer centricity is this? Harassing a customer, who is asking for the investigation and rewarding the driver, who chose to run away and go awoi!!!

                              I need a complete investigation and closure to the case. Please help get this resolved and restore my account immediately!

                                Yesterday traveled from heritage complex, yelahanka to mrn complex, kamala hehru extension,. Dep 0817. Arr: 0943. Distance 26.4 km. Actual distance as per google map 13.7 km. Crn number [protected]. Driver: nathan basu. Was charged rs 472/-. (26.4 km!) kindly take action to credit excess money. Taxi took normal route, via ms pallya, yeshwantpur. Person who traveled knew the route. No detours were made.
                                I am a regular ola traveler and you can see my record. I always keep money in ola; terribly upset ; feel cheated.

I left my mobile in a cab, within 2mins i started call on my mobile number but the cab driver didnt pick up and switched off my mobile.. I called on customer care too many times but no one answer my phone..

                                    I took a ride from mysore road metro station till double road, raja rajeshwari nagar on the 19th november. While booking the auto, i was provided with a ride estimate of rs. 91, however when i reached the destination the fare charged was rs.239. I took the same route in afternoon via ola auto and i was charged rs.38. I understand there was traffic hence the price was raised from 38 to 91, however i cannot get any explanation as to why i was charged rs. 239 for such short distance. I want my money to be refunded. This is utter cheating done with the customers, specially who are the regular customers. I need my refund back as soon as possible.

                                      Today i took a mini cab. The ride was 33 km but the fare was rs.1407. It was mentioned in fare breakup that the fare increase was rs.743 even when no information was given when booking the cab. I have been using ola for a very long time and this kind of service is very disturbing. Kindly look into this issue and arrange for the refund of the money.
                                      My account is blocked.I am a frequent user and if there were cancellations it was the drivers fault not my fault please let me know whether you will active my account or not.Plz let me lnow soon

                                        The driver making unnecessarily all around, spending 30 mts to reach residency road, infact it takes 5 mts to reach.
                                        When she asked about this roaming he further delaying.
                                        Still is in the cab only.
