Dear ma'am/ sir,
I am reproducing here under a letter i had emailed to mr bhavish aggarwal, ceo, ola cabs on 6 june 2017 seeking redressal after a particularly dismal experience with ola, that i had on 26 may 2017, primarily due to the singularly unprofessional and unethical treatment meted out by the concerned cab driver, followed by the hopeless response from the ola customer care services, who appeared to be hand in gloves with their driver partner. Well, even after 15 day since narrating my experience and hoping for appropriate redressal fro the ceo, ola cabs, i am quite shocked at the complete silence in response to my email.

Dear mr bhavish aggarwal,
I have been a frequent user of your ola cab services in the delhi-ncr region and also elsewhere, occasionally, as the preferred cab service, ola cabs being of indian origin, and i have been, more or less, with a few exceptions, reasonably satisfied with the experience.
This matter is regarding my latest and, perhaps, last preferred use of ola cab services, which was also my maiden ride, using ola rental services, that i had wanted to avail of on friday, 26 may 2017.
Unfortunately, today, as a thoroughly dissatisfied customer, after the dismal experience with ola, primarily due to the singularly unprofessional and unethical treatment meted out by the concerned cab driver, followed by the hopeless response from your customer care services, who were contacted with the hope of suitable required actions for redressal of my problem, which i thought, they did, seemingly, in the first instance, i have been constrained to take up the matter with you, the ceo of the company. Of course, i also had the option of airing my grievances about my experience with ola and its driver on the ola website, but i decided to instead write to you so that you get a first hand user feedback and opportunity for remedial measures for redressal of the grievance.
Well, i had booked an ola rental cab for 8 hours/ 80 km and your driver, some mr imran khan reported for duty in his chevrolet beat cab at the appointed time on 26 may 2017. I had many official meetings during the day at various locations within delhi/ ncr, with the first meeting being at indirapuram, ghaziabad and the remaining at one of the ministries of govt of india in central delhi with a few senior bureaucrats.
Anyway, i got down at my first destination in indirapuram at around 10:45 am and it was decided that the driver would wait for my call at a spot convenient to him near the building. After about an hour or so, the driver called me on his own and inquired as to how long i would be there, to which i responded as per my estimate and schedule of my other meeting in delhi.
After conclusion of my meetings at indirapuram, at around 12:45 am or thereabout, when i tried contacting the driver for going to the next destination in central delhi, i found his mobile phone to be continuously 'not reachable'. As i was getting late for my next meeting, and the driver was just not contactable, i reported the matter to the ola customer care and explained the situation. Understanding my urgency, your customer care representative, a lady, ms parmila, also tried contacting the driver by putting my call on hold for a few minutes, but then confirmed after many unsuccessful attempts that the driver's mobile number was still continuously 'not reachable'.in view of the situation, in consultation with your customer care representative, it was decided to close the trip/ booking then and there. Subsequently, i made alternate arrangements for my further travel during the day.
However, to my shock i realized later that for the unilaterally truncated trip, your driver had indicated completion of the trip at my residence, that is, the point from where it had commenced in the morning. For this abandoned trip, i was billed an amount of rs 1, 720.00, towards which, rs 1487.00 of my ola money balance was automatically deducted from my account, for the actual use of the cab only from my residence in mayur vihar phase-1 to indirapuram, after which, on account of the circumstances explained above, the trip/ booking had to be cancelled in consultation with ola customer care.
I again contacted ola customer care, when i was informed that the back end team of ola was reviewing my complaint. Finally, i received the trailing email from ola customer care on 29 may 2017 evening, intimating, inter alia,
"... Post validating the ride details, we see that the driver partner dropped you at the desired drop location and he was waiting for you to come back and he tried to reach out to you through call. Hence, we regret to inform you that we will not be able to refund in this case..."
Having narrated my above unexpectedly distasteful, unsavoury and shocking experience, may i request you to please look into the matter and arrange for a revised bill for my trip along with the refund of the excess money deducted from my ola money account.

I want to pay your dues, if you give me account details I can pay them immediately. My account is blocked because of this. How can I do business. Please do the needful at the earliest
