Hi There,
I am Arjun KL and I am a frequent user of Ola Auto service and I have been using this service from few months now. My daily travel is between Trinity Metro Station to Domlur in the morning and from Domlur to Trinity Metro station in the evening this distance is just below 4kms precisely 3.8kms and recently with my last two outings with Ola Auto I am very disgusted by your service because you have charged me extra with no reason and when I reached your customer support they said its because I have booked from a different location and according to that kms is more than 4kms but in reality it is not because I have a concrete proof to prove my stand. My question is when I travelled from Trinty to Domlur yesterday on 2nd May 2017 (CRN[protected] the booking and drop location was 146, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Craig Park Layout, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru TO Vinayaka Tower, KR Colony, 1st Stage, Domlur, Bengaluru you have charged me Rs 29/- and today 3rd May 2017 when I travelled from the exact location (CRN[protected] you have charged me Rs 38/- . Likewise with reference to one of my booking on 28th April 2017 I travelled from Domlur to Trinity Metro Station (CRN[protected] my booking location was Kempegowda Service Road, Domlur I Stage, 1st Stage Domlur TO Meritus Analytics, MG Road, Yellappa Garden, Yellappa Chetty Layout, Siva… and you have charged me Rs 29/- but on 2nd May 2017 for the same location booking (CRN[protected] you have charged me Rs 32/- .
Since I have been using this service from quite a long time I am sure you can access my travel history and all my travel has billing of Rs 29/- but this recent overcharging from your end is ridiculous and unfair practice. Earlier when OLA had its older version of Driver side app there wasn’t such issues and now suddenly there is a huge ambiguity and chaos. I don’t give a damn on how your OLA distance map which is integrated in the OLA app works, my challenge is the distance from my work location to Trinity Metro Station and vice versa is definitely not more than 4 kms and very sure its less than 4kms and I can challenge this in any court of law. Since OLA has a promised its customers that OLA Auto service less than 4kms will charged flat Rs 29/- you better deliver it and don’t rig your customers with unfair practices.
Now coming back to my issue I demand OLA to refund the excess amount charged from my OLA Money wallet at the earliest and also take proper precaution that this thing will not repeat in future. If my issue is not solved quickly I will take this to media and to the court of law and be prepared to face legal consequences. I hope it will not reach that extent and will be solved as soon as possible.
