Today, I boarded an Ola Share cab at 9.45am for Thane West. Suddenly the driver asked for my destination. Upon hearing it, he was shocked because the co-passenger was supposed to be dropped first at Naigaon east. It was a totally different route that would take me minimum 1 hour more as there is work going on the bridge since 2 years.
As the last person to be dropped, I would have to travel to & forth the bridge. On this bridge, traffic is halted one way for 20 to 30 minutes and later halted for the other way for similar duration of time. It meant that I would have to spend at least an hour for the deviation.
When I called Ola number[protected], the CSE was not willing to listen and sternly told me that the Driver, Co-passenger & I had agreed to the Policy and Terms of Agreement hence she would not be able to do anything. When asked to transfer to Supervisor, I was told that a call back would be arranged within 4 hours??
With no other option, I got off the Ola Cab near the junction of the bridge and took another cab. There was no point in me deviating from the route for more than an hour. Needless to say Rs.231/- got deducted from my Account and I spent around the same amount to reach my destination.
At 4.53pm, a Supervisor called from[protected]. Again, this Ola Staff was in no mood to listen to anything. Speaking in an attempted foreign accent, he just wanted to inform me that as per GPS, the deviation was within the limits of a Share Ride & that he could not nothing about the same. When the call got disconnected from his end, he did not bother to call back.
This is the worst experience I've ever had from Ola. I NEED THE AMOUNT TO BE CREDITED BACK TO MY ACCOUNT. If this is the type of Customer Service, then I will have to switch to Uber
