During one of my OLA Auto ride in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, the driver demanded extra cash. Unaware about OLA's policy about paying extra, I gave in and paid the amount he had demanded. The following are the details of the OLA Auto ride.

I had faced a similar issue during another ride, for which OLA has reimbursed the money. The details of the ride are as follows.

This is habitual for most of the OLA Auto drivers in Madurai. The drivers demand extra cash, some stating that OLA had granted permission for them to charge Actual amount + Rs.10 or Rs.20. Unable to contact OLA Customer Care, or due to reaching the destination urgently, most of the customers agree to the demands. Kindly look into this issue and do the needful, else OLA may have to lose several customers.

Today I was charged around 600 rupees for 10 KM ride from GUINDY, chennai to Porur in OLA cab. Please take necessary action
I booked ola auto from villivakkam jaganathan nagar to kolathur bhavani nagar total fare is 29 only but he collected cash amount of rs.30 and also my ola money of rs.29 is deducted from my wallet he cheated me and shouted me to give so i gave cash to that driver i need my amount refund my amount of rs.29 to my wallet

his attitude was very rude to me
I booked an ola from Acharya institute to sapthagiri hospital. Then, I was charged Rs115 for 4kms.But the listed price is Rs29 for 4kms.How come this amount is possible? Please fix this bug as soon as possible.
I'm riding in ola Auto in Aurangabad,
Driver intentionally take long route, Supposed to Give 94 RS but auto fare is 130 rs, it's completely ridiculous ola should blacklisted that driver for better Customer attraction.
It's polluting customer relations with ola

I booked an ola from Shakti Khand 1 to Noida Sector 62. When I book my ride it shows Rs. 32 but after reaching, the driver ask for Rs. 56. Why was the driver charged extra. Driver take long route, i need my amount refund my amount of rs.26 to my wallet.
2021: It is true especially in madurai, all the auto drivers demanding 20 rupees for short rides and 50 to 80 rupees for medium distance rides. Even cab drivers started demanding nowadays. Rude behavior and rash riding. Most of the times, they cancel ride if it is a short distant ride.

Ola please conduct a weekly meet with Madurai Auto drivers to keep them in track.

    I have booked ola cab micro for Gurugarm to Noida @ 11:30AM driver reached my location 11:55AM the we reached Noida at 2:00 PM, after that I called to call to Ola tele-caller to generate bill (because mobile application not generate same .) they charged 1475 INR against the 55.2 km as CRN[protected], it's approx. 26.24 rs /km instead of 8 or 10 / km so request to you pleas take necessary action against them

      Hello, I am Venkatram with phone number [protected]. Today, May4th 2017, I booked an Ola Micro for my wife to travel. When the trip was booked, the driver insisted that the money be paid in cash. I had asked my wife to pay the driver in cash. Once the trip got over, the Ola money was deducted automatically, even though the driver accepted cash of Rs 104. When I tried to take care of the issue through the app, it did not let me submit the complaint and instead asked me to talk to customer support. On doing so, I was told that since I had once earlier tried to solve a similar issue before, which they settled through the refund of the amount, they said that the same could not be repeated again as it was one time only process. I was not told the first time that this was the final time this would be done nor I was told why this issue happened in the first place. I need a refund of 104 to my Ola money account.

        I called the drive and drive said me (Khada hu yahi) when i said u have to call me after coming at my location then what he replied to me (Balance nhi hai) and he cut the phone and after that i was charged cancellation i will not weave the cancellation

          I am Nagarjuna, I used to travel in Ola Mini cab. Sameway on 02/05/2017 I booked a Mini CAB from CMBT Chennai to Velachery. Normally it costs Rs 250 to Rs 300. But today it was billed Rs 800.

          I asked the driver he said he is not aware of the policies and the proceduce of calculating fare and he asked to contact customer care.

          I paid the bill and contacted the Ola customer care.

          The person from the customer care is saying since it is due to peack time they are costing 3 times more on the normal charge.

          Normally on peak time also I see it is 1.5 times but it is too much to collect 3 times on the normali price.

          They should inform the user properly before booking the price will be 3 times more as it is peek time.

          They have not informed and they are arguing on it.

          It is too bad to collect the money like this today it is 3 times and tomorrow it will be 5 or 10 times. We should put some control on this prices and advance notification.

          When the called the driver is not notified me about the peak time or the Ola app how can I know it.

          I demand to refund extra changed amount 500.

            Booked an outstation cab rental from Pune to Lavasa on 30th June at 3:15 PM but cab arrived late and we started the journey around 3:36 PM and ended next day at 4:39 PM. The charges were a total os rs 5452 which is unjustified since for 24 hours the ride cost was Rs. 2703 for mini and our ride was upgraded to a sedan before arrival time. After completing the journey and checking the cost which was not expected we called up the customer care thrice to resolve it. But got a response that since the ride started at 3:15 PM and had 3 mins after the buffer time of 1 hr. The cost included the next day cost as well which is not at all justified at any cost. I have attached 2 screenshot justifying to above statement. Kindly help.

              Booked a cab at 10:25 today morning from Lakkasandra. The destination was Samad House Deluxe, Shivajinagar - CRN[protected]. Driver Ananda P picked us up and after travelling 0.5km, asked us to get down near the adugodi signal.
              When asked, he says the ride got cancelled due to some internet issues. I shall book a cab for you. Get down now. We had to reach our destination by 11 AM, but were stranded in the middle of the road. It is such an unprofessional behaviour.

                Booked Ola from Hennur to Anandrao circle on 26/04/2017, 8:00PM, as had a bus to board in 50 mins time. Driver came on time and was standing out side the cab.Before i boarded the cab he asked for destination and when i said Anand Rao circle, he denied drop. Saying i cant come. I asked why did you accept if you were not interested to drop? He got aggressive and said i cannot come, and book another cab. I asked him to cancel booking to which he DENIED. He said you cancel i cannot as i will loose money. I told i will loose money if i cancel, and its your fault and that u accepted and denying duty so u cancel. Driver got aggressive when i tld i am going to complain about him to OLA. He pushed me and entered the cab to drive away. I told what you are doing is very wrong, he again got out of the cab wanting to assault me but thanks to the neighbors and passer bys he said OLA OR COPS cant even touch his Pubic hair. (Jatt be nahi ukhad sakthe). He said this multiple times.

                Called OLA raised a complaint, spoke to 3 different people, they pretended to offer full support, saying we will suspend drivers permit and blah blah blah but driver is still on duty and completely functional. I want justice for the verbal abuse i received and the pain i went through when driver shoved me. IS THERE JUSTICE? I have been chasing OLA for week now and no action has been taken. I am pretty sure he is a serial offender, and can only imagine the safety of our women with a man like this.

                I went through immense Mental and emotional stress because of this incident. Having shoulder pain as i was pushed and hit a tree which stopped me from falling.

                  I booked ola prime cab on sunday, april 23, 02:30 am. On the way he is offering me cigarette and he is forcing me to have cigarette. I said no to him but then he is telling your lips say you are having cigarette that type of word he is using. Please give some action on that driver as soon as possible and it is morning time really i scared for that driver. If that type of driver is there then all girls should be scared... Really that day bad experience with ola.

I had to be dropped at domlur egl and the other drops were very far from mine so it took much longer than usual. My concern is if the drops are not on the way then ola share shouldn't accept the ride. Route was

                    Hi There,
                    I am Arjun KL and I am a frequent user of Ola Auto service and I have been using this service from few months now. My daily travel is between Trinity Metro Station to Domlur in the morning and from Domlur to Trinity Metro station in the evening this distance is just below 4kms precisely 3.8kms and recently with my last two outings with Ola Auto I am very disgusted by your service because you have charged me extra with no reason and when I reached your customer support they said its because I have booked from a different location and according to that kms is more than 4kms but in reality it is not because I have a concrete proof to prove my stand. My question is when I travelled from Trinty to Domlur yesterday on 2nd May 2017 (CRN[protected] the booking and drop location was 146, Mahatma Gandhi Road, Craig Park Layout, Ashok Nagar, Bengaluru TO Vinayaka Tower, KR Colony, 1st Stage, Domlur, Bengaluru you have charged me Rs 29/- and today 3rd May 2017 when I travelled from the exact location (CRN[protected] you have charged me Rs 38/- . Likewise with reference to one of my booking on 28th April 2017 I travelled from Domlur to Trinity Metro Station (CRN[protected] my booking location was Kempegowda Service Road, Domlur I Stage, 1st Stage Domlur TO Meritus Analytics, MG Road, Yellappa Garden, Yellappa Chetty Layout, Siva… and you have charged me Rs 29/- but on 2nd May 2017 for the same location booking (CRN[protected] you have charged me Rs 32/- .

                    Since I have been using this service from quite a long time I am sure you can access my travel history and all my travel has billing of Rs 29/- but this recent overcharging from your end is ridiculous and unfair practice. Earlier when OLA had its older version of Driver side app there wasn’t such issues and now suddenly there is a huge ambiguity and chaos. I don’t give a damn on how your OLA distance map which is integrated in the OLA app works, my challenge is the distance from my work location to Trinity Metro Station and vice versa is definitely not more than 4 kms and very sure its less than 4kms and I can challenge this in any court of law. Since OLA has a promised its customers that OLA Auto service less than 4kms will charged flat Rs 29/- you better deliver it and don’t rig your customers with unfair practices.
                    Now coming back to my issue I demand OLA to refund the excess amount charged from my OLA Money wallet at the earliest and also take proper precaution that this thing will not repeat in future. If my issue is not solved quickly I will take this to media and to the court of law and be prepared to face legal consequences. I hope it will not reach that extent and will be solved as soon as possible.

                      He hit my car from front side and this is too much damaged and loss of my money.

                      He also doing rough driving, he try to overtake my car when I already turn left and he did not stop his car and hit my car.

                        Today(02/05/2017) I travelled from Himayath Nagar to Nagole. I got 2 driver contacts for the same ride. The first driver came and pick me and 2nd driver called multiple times to cancel my booking. He is talking impolite and even he don't know how to deal with customer. He is talking indecent language. And he is asking for cancel the booking.
                        How can I cancel my booking while am travelling???

                        Please take action on him as soon as possible.

                        And provide me the reason for multiple drivers for single ride.

                        In my Ola App it is showing Driver name as "Chakradhar" and in mail invoice it is showing Narsimha S. How it is possible????

                          I tried to book cabs and before that my email got unverified automatically without any notification then when i tried verifying it it didn't let me do that on cell phone (Chrome browser "after clicking on verify it didn't came up only with anything") the drivers didn't interacted properly after hello on call thats why had to cancel in other cases when i made booking it brought cars from far away sometime wasn't able to contact driver, driver lied at the location but wasn't (Today evening rajesh sharma osn[protected] and also made a cancellation charge on meeh.

                          This is literally filthy experience i had i want my money back!!

                            Ola company sent me faulty vehicle and charged full fare. I had my family with me so in the interest of safety i paid. When i called customer care number to register a complaint, they refused to accept the complain and said that i should have called at that time.
                            Ola has cheated me.
                            I also rcvd email saying that complain is solved. No hearing at al!!!
                            I seek justice

                                This is for ride no. CRN[protected] on Sunday, 30.4.17 - When I booked the cab, the fare shown was Rs. 296.00. However, when I reached my destination, I came to know that Rs. 441.00 were deducted from my OLA money. The route was clear and the time taken was normal.

                                I talked to Customer Care representative at[protected] who told me that she can do nothing about it. She asked me to write a mail to support team. She also told that she will arrange a Call-Back from OLA in this regard within 2-4 hours.

                                I am using OLA regularly. This has happened for the first time. Although I observed a glitch in the app two days back (28.4.17) also when I booked two micro taxi and OTP of one was getting displayed with driver details of other, but in today's case, I am feeling cheated where I was charged 1.5 times the fare which was agreed / indicated earlier.

                                I wrote to their support team. However, I received a call from them after 29 hours. This Gentleman Mr. Saurabh told me the same story that he is not having the authority to do anything in this regard ad that he will inform their technical team to look into the problem. When I asked him to connect me to someone who is having the authority, he told me that NO ONE in OLA is having the authority to take a call on this.

                                Does that mean that OLA is trying to make up for their losses using these CHEAP and Unethical practices!!

                                  CRN[protected] I had booked a ride on 29.04.2017 for 5:00 am from Motia Khan to New Delhi Railway Station. Your Driver came 15 minutes before the booking time and was continuously troubling us to start. He charged Rs.150 for the ride whereas I got the payment receipt for Rs.96/-. We paid it as we had to catch the train. In addition to that, your driver was abusing us for making a short ride in the early morning. Kindly the feedback.

                                    Reference CRN[protected], please be informed that I had availed the services of OLA ( Driver-Pankaj Malik with Mobile no [protected]) on 15th April 2017 from Sector-55, Noida to Udyog Vihar, Greater Noida. I had to step out to get change to pay the driver and since I was in a rush, I unknowingly left my powerbank in the back seat of the white Beat.Trying to reach the driver to this date has been futile, since he just won't pick up. I don't hope that I would get back my belonging but do train your drivers on ethics and courtesy of returning to people what's not rightfully yours.

                                      Drivers are very rude in ola auto. I stopped using due to poor service.
                                      Two times driver didn't turn up on time and initiated cancellation without acknowledgment.
                                      Drivers are unwilling to wait even for a minute and are rude at times. I used the service for couple of days and switched to uper pool due to devastating experience in ola auto.

                                      Such a big fraud..One person from Customer care has called and asked the complete card details to transfer the fund. he attempted to withdraw 5000 from my account.
                                      As per your ola auto service under 4 km distance expected charge is 29.but ola app showed 98 Rs.So we overcharged 69 Rs for ride CRN[protected].That you have to repay us.
