This is a complaint with regards to the ticket no : 41257049
I have already spoken to your customer care agents, sent several emails, however, nobody has resolved the issue. I am a regular customer.
On 29th March, I have boarded the cab (Ola Share) unfortunately or fortunately for the 1st time. I always book Ola Micro/Mini. Soon after boarding the cab, I came to know the driver is taking longer route (from Haralur to Koramangla and then from there to Kalena Agrahara)than the usual one and I will have to reach the destination as soon as possible. I know this is OLA SHARE and they will follow their own, but this is not the easy route. Hence, I got down from the cab within 5 minutes of boarding. I tried to cancel the boarding, but I was not able to do that. I requested the driver also, but he did not (whether, he did not or he was not able to, don't know).
Hence, I called up to your customer care team to cancel. However, my trip was not completed. My concern is why I have been charged Rs. 132 from my account ? You should charge me for 5-10 minutes riding or cancellation fee which is justified. I did not ask for complete refund. That does not mean, he will travel whole Bangalore to earn more money and I will enjoy the ride with him for the whole day. That does not make sense.
As per my knowledge, a customer can change the drop location after boarding the cab. Without my concern, within 10 minutes, my trip status has been updated to "completed" that is from Haralur road to Kalena Agrahara. The driver covered 14 km distance within 10-15 minutes specially in Bangalore following the main road (Haralur-Sarjapur-Koramangala-Kalena Agrahara), Koramangala, because there was another passenger.
I have few concern.
1. how would you charge a customer if there is no pre-paid Ola Money in his account. Hence, the question comes in mind that, cash payment is good option for a customer in order to avoid such incident.
2. And again, it's another concern, if someone does not find himself comfortable in front of the co-passengers after boarding the cab, & wants to get down from the cab (the reason can be anything, any emergency can take place), then the same policy would apply for him ? In a nutshell, what I have understood that, once you've boarded Ola Share, you will have to complete the ride at any cost in order to loose the money, am I correct ?
