Dear ola, you are fraud.
Here's why!!!
I took a ride from ville parle to bhandup, it's a 19 kms ride.
I have ola share pass, which is 100 rs for 15kms and then micro cab charges for the remaining 4 kms. As per your advertisement, micro is at rs 6 per km.
However I was still charged 178 rs.
As per my calculations. It should be 130 or less. Also, there is no toll.
Please explain.
Or are you saying that your micro charges are [censored]ing 20rs per km.
If thats the case let me know. I would like to file a case for fraud.

    On 12th Nov, I booked a cab at 3pm for ad pop to railway station Jaipur, to catch a train. I spoke with the driver Shravan and gave him my address details. I was kept waiting and then suddenly I got the cancellation message. I was fortunate to get an auto and could just catch the train.
    To my utter surprise on 25th Nov, when i booked my next Ola, I received information of Rs 50 deduction from my Ola money for 12th Nov cancellation. This has no justification, instead I should sue Ola as I could have missed my train. Drivers can't cancel at their whim to get Rs 50. If Ola persists with this policy I may shift to others. This case needs investigation.

      Hi,

      on 25th of Nov, 2016 i booked a Ola Share cab around 10:50 or before that from Jadavpur to my home address which is in bansdroni and the distance was 4.8Km as per Ola customer representative and the ride estimate i got from the app before and after booking was Rs58. Now when i Boarded the cab i asked the driver to input my OSN number. He said he can't as he has another customer who needs to get picked up and after she gives her OSN number, only then i can give mine so i waited. Then we went around and around to search for the fellow passenger and after some long minutes the driver found her and picked her. Then after she provided her OSN number when i gave my OSN number i got 108 deducted from my account!!! From a ride estimate of Rs58 to Rs108 and when i booked my ride i did not get any price surge but then i had to pay the deducted with a 1.6X times for the price surge and the response i got from the customer care is this is dynamic so it could have been any value. So what i am unclear about this is how can a ride estimate vary from 58 to 108. this is clearly either a huge glitch in their system or they are misleading customers by displaying one thing and then when they board the cab, compelling them to pay that amount. This is a kind of extortion. The Ola representative even said that it even could have been in 500 had there been huge traffic jam. So my question is for 4.8Km with a ride estimate of 58 how can even they say it could have been 500. So the point of ride estimate fails? and whatever they are showing is not even close to a correct value. Dynamic value can go from 58 to 78 or 88 at max but 108 is basically robbing a customer and this is shameful!!! Shame on them for cheating a customer with manipulated information!

        Hi,

        I am not getting my cab details as SMS from OLA even after successful bookings. This has happened many times over the past few weeks.

        I am using the latest updated version of OLA app. Could you please look into this at the earliest.

        I am not recieving any invoices to my mail id after the rides also. My mail id is [protected]@gmail.com. Please reach out to me to solve this problem ASAP.

          On 21st November 2016, I took an OLA micro from my apartment at Wakad, for my office at Bavdhan, Pune. The CRN number was[protected].

          It was not the first time I took an OLA ride from my home to office (or return). I took similar ride on 15th November, CRN: CRN[protected] and 21st November again (from office to home) CRN:[protected].

          All these times, I make sure that I take the same shortest route and the distance in that route is around 12km's.

          Normally, I am billed correctly for 12km's & around 150-160 INR. But on 21st the company billed me for 19 kms and an amount of 222 INR. I took the same route even that very day.

          Adding to my anguish was the way OLA support reacted on twitter and said, that it was the shortest route possible which is so incorrect, and their very own system testifies it on different occasions.

          I find cheated by the company. The amount isn't very big, but surely one needs to look into it. I don't know with a faulty metric system in place how much they have looted.

            Booked a ola from churchgate... The charges shown in the app was 353rs. Last moment the driver cancelled the ride. Then received a call from ola asking if they can rebook the car. Which we did as it was 10.30 at night. After receiving the destination we were suddenly given a bill for 1105 rs. After complaining the call center personnel says we have sent notifications and msg about high charges... But i had not received any notifaication or msg about high charges...
            This is sheer robbery...

              Sir, i have book a taxi from Ola cab App on 18/11/2016 for 1330 Hrs on 19/11/2016 from Khekra to New Delhi railway station to pick up Mumbai Rajdhani with my family. They send me massage that our representative will come and complete your journey. But at the last movement their taxi driver denied to pick up and cancel the trip.They do not arrange any other taxi for me after giving the assurance. And finally I arrange taxi at very high fare to meet my requirement. Which affect me for 3000 Rs. and tension of mind to pick my train. I request you to punish them and tell them to give me compensation for inconvenience. So they will not do this type of misbehave with others.                 We have booked suv, crn[protected] for our travel to kr puram railway station. without any notice, the cab was cancelled 5 mins (scheduled time 5.45) prior to ride and we ended up in booking two cabs for the same out of which one cab with crn[protected] was broke down 10 kms prior to the destination and we ended up in missing the train (train departure at 8.13 pm). this will be last time i am going to book the cab from you guys.

                  Ola Money Deducted - I did not receive any message from the Ola team about the deduction of ola money. But they have deducted the money.

                  Cab Driver charged 100. So, for a trip I have paid 100 bucks extra. When I called customer executive, he informed me that it is not possible to refund the money, I should collect them from the Cab driver.

                  100 bucks is not a small sum of money that the taxi driver come and give back to me when I asked and he is also saying that its not deducted from my ola money. Actually I also did not receive any message from Ola that its been deducted from my OLA money.

                  Attached image file is the final messages i got from Ola after booking the cab. One on confirmation of cab booking and the second one my 599 rupees has been credited to the OLA money. But I have not receive any message on debiting of my money.

                    Hi, I had booked an Ola cab for my parents. My parents needed the cab to drop off a guest at the airport and return home in the same cab. After reaching the airport, the driver refused to drive my parents back home from the airport - they had to wait for a long time to get another vehicle.

                    I would like to lodge a complaint against the driver (Asaullah) in this case.

                      Please note the cab operator is fleecing the customers with having surcharge prices during peak hours, the surcharges prices leveed are about double the regular rates. This is actually taking advantage of the consumer when he/she needs it the most. The operator should stick to one pricing at all times, its not like its operating during late night hours when there are fewer cabs operating. Cab operators can have a higher price if they want but the same should be maintained throughout the day just like the Auto rickshaws/ taxis/ buses or any other transport facility.

                      Sir/ Madam surcharge pricing is stopped in Delhi, its very disheartening to know we Mumbaikars are still been cheated in this pretext.

                        1. My name is kenanya kumar kasaraneni. On 23/11/2016 at 06:30 pm, i booked a cab from my home to reach chennai central raiway station. I choose the ride later option (i.e. 08:45 pm) to comply with my train timings. I checked the app at 08:40 pm and the cab is 10min away. So, i thought it will reach by 08:50 pm. At 08:50 pm, when i rechecked the app, cab is still 10 min away and not moving. So, i called the driver. He said, he is sorry and said he will be there in 5 minutes. Then he called me from another mobile number and asked me whether i am paying cash or ola money. I said, ola money. Then he cancelled the ride. Company called me and asked me whether i need another cab. I said, yes.
                        2. When i booked the cab again, they sent me the details of same cab again because he is near my house. So, i cancelled the ride because he is not even picking the call this time.
                        3. When i booked the cab again, they sent me the details of same cab again. So, i called him on his other number and said i will pay cash. Then he accepted the ride and came to my place. Once he came, he asked me to cancel the ride again because i book ola prime. He wanted me to book ola prime suv, so that he can get more money. I said this is ola prime suv only. He said you booked ola prime, the company has upgraded it to ola prime suv for free. With my family standing on the middle of the road with the luggage in their hands and my fear of missing the train, i obliged his demand and cancelled the ride, for which ola charged me 75 rupees as cancellation fees.
                        4. Then i booked ola prime suv, then he accepted the ride. After driving for 30 minutes, he stopped at petrol bunk and asked me for 600 rupees which i paid because i know the ride will cost around 675 to 750 according to the app's own estimate. When we arrived at the railway station, he showed me the bill is Rs. 712 and me to pay the remaining Rs. 112. So, i paid the rest of the charge. After the driver left, i got the message stating that, Rs. 712 ola money has been deducted from my account because i have enough balance to pay the ride in my ola money account. So, i called ola through their number[protected]. Customer care executive told me he is very very sorry for their drivers behaviour and he will take immediate action according to their policies (which is Rs. 500 fine and one day suspension from duties according to the telephone call i got first time to inform me that ride number one is cancelled). When i asked for my ola money refund, customer care executive said, he cant help me regarding this and he is sorry.

                        I lost my money, i lost my dignity, they made my family stand on the middle of the road in the cold till i book what the driver wants. So, please help me in this regard.

                          I took olacab on Saturday 19nov.from kalyan to Parel.They charge me 1630.00 for 53km.when I enquire they told that it is peak hours charges/High demand for cab charges.On my return journey I paid rs.760.00only for 54 km.by uber cab. So I would like to lodge formal complaint for malpractice & cheating. Even as per their rate chart the fare should not be more than 800.00 but they charge me 2 times(approx).Inspire of my best efforts they fail to respond to my complaint.AS per Mumbai Govt. Instruction they cannot charge more than their tariff.

                            While, i paid, through ola money, driver said ola money is not working. and took the money in cash. and, my ola money also got deducted.

                            I am feeling like cheated.egarding driver's cormplaint

                            I am expecting a refund for this issue. when i called to customer care regarding driver's complaint, they said there is no such policy and we cant help in this.

                            why dont they have this policy? every time customer is got cheated by these drivers, then why are they not making any policy to resolve these issues?

                            i am overall unhappy from satisfaction level and i need refund for my hard earned money.
                            Sir/madam I had recharged ola money yesterday through SBI bank and even though the transaction has been done buy I haven't received any cash in ola money.a and as per ur support page I haven't received an email also.kindly oblige
                            CRN[protected], Travelled on[protected], Driver insisted for cash instead of ola money, he said he had chosen option in ola app so that ola money will not be deducted. But after travel I found that ola money was also deducted.

                              I had travelled through OLA yesterday 22nd Nov under Booking ID CRN[protected] from Old Delhi Railway station to Pritam Pura, Delhi. Ola driver mentioned his Ola money was not working anf pay through cash, I paid via cash and later Ola Money deducted. There is no means to log complaint either through call or email. I need a refund and response on the matter

                                Dear Sir/Madam,
                                I have took a OLA Cab and selected payment method as OLA Money.
                                After completing the trip, my OLA money got deducted. But Driver was not accepting that payment as money and he was complaining the OLA stating that he won't get the amount from OLA if customer choosen payment method as OLAMONEY. Irrespective of explaining, he is totally not agreeing with my words and he demanded the trip cost in Cash. Finally I paid the amount to him.
                                While complaining this matter to OLA Support team via below reference, they were simply saying Sorry with out taking any further action.
                                [Ola Support] #[protected] Unprofessional conduct.
                                They haven't called either Driver or Myself till now to resolve this issue. Their support team simply replying email with out understanding issues.
                                This will lead Driver can do any mistakes with customers and OLA Support team never cares about any customer complaints.
                                Please advise how to file a case on this matter to resolve this issue.

                                  On 23/11/2016, i.e today i travelled in Ola and for 21 kms, they charged me 398 from which Rs 70 was my discounted coupon, so the amount came as 328.Usually, the amount comes to 250 or sometimes 220 but never more than that.When i checked with Ola Customer care, they said we cant help it and they were very adamant in saying that I have to pay that amount.Being a regular customer of ola, i know how much the prices are.It was just horrible experience.Not expected from OLA.

                                  I could have taken Uber in that case whose prices are very low and moreover they behaviour is also good towards customers.

                                  Please refund my money.

                                      I am a regular user of ola cabs and for the past 3-4 bookings i am facing lot of problems in booking my cab..
                                      Firstly, once the booking is done and i call the driver, either they don't have activated and working gps in their cab or they make excuses of being at far away places from where they express their inability to reach to my place and so either they only cancel the ride or ask me to do so..
                                      And in my last booking the first driver himself cancelled my ride and the second one also after sometime cancelled the ride...
                                      This kind of attitude and customer service is highly unacceptable from ola...earlier its service was mucj better but with time it is getting poorer and poorer...
                                      Kindly look into the issue and ensure that such incidents don't happen again with me...

                                        I have booked ola cab on 22nd of Nov.2016.vide CRN[protected]at 4.37pm. Journey timing is 4.55 am on 23rd of Nov.2016 from IIT Kanpur to Railway station.Due to your poor services no cab has attended and our train got missed.
                                        We have to go by Shatabadi Express.from Kanpur to Delhi .Our ticket No./PNR No.[protected] amounting Rs.2070 for two persons.
                                        I tried to call on your enquiry numbers but these number not working.
                                        It is a matter of great sorrow after
                                        booking of 12 hours and message recieved as below at 3.55am:-

                                        Your ride with CRN[protected] has been scheduled for[protected]:55:00. Driver details will be shared 15 min before your pickup time. will pay our ticket fare and mental harrasment.
                                        Now you narrate who will be responsible for such mental harrasment.
                                        I warn OLA to pay my losses.Otherwise
                                        I will put you in consumer court.
