I took a cab from thoraipakam to pallikaranai today. it was 7.5 km with 20 mins travel time.they charged Rs344 which was 2.5 times higher than what i use to travel. i called the customer support and asked for clarification.They are informing that if there is any demand for the cab during peak hour travel then customer is suppose to pay 2.5 times higher.If there s no cab available then its expected to reject the booking from ola side...Ola s making huge money by cheating customers with these types principles. Total cheaters.

      This is the complaint against the surge prices or peak time prices levied by ola cabs in hyderabad.

      We are noticing that they are continuously charging 3 times to the regular fares even in the normal morning times, and tugging the customers.

      I have attached a snapshot of their app, where they charged us 2.5 times, which is a regular process for them and collecting huge amounts from the customers

        we are trying to book a cab in ola from ameerpet to secunderad,

        and we noticed the serge in the price of the cabs, which is coming very frequently now a days, whether the demand is there or not.

        this is not the first time, we have got such surge prices.

        we have attached a picture of the pricing given by ola app for your reference.

        kindly persue the matter and do the needful, so that we can get the cabs at regular fares and have a good service

          I had a drive from indira gandhi airport to laxminagar, where the driver charged rs.150/- for parking which was irrelevant since i had to wait for 25 min for getting the cab and still walked some distance for getting the cab. I think its totally irrelevant to charge rs.150/- for parking.Dis-satisfied with the services of ola cabs and needs further improvement.

            I have used ola cab services, trip invoice no. Crn[protected] by micro category car no. Dl-01rt9309 timing 8:49 am from sarita vihar, delhi to vasundhra. I got a bill of rs.613/- which was paid as rs. 599 amount by ola money and rs.14 by cash. I was shocked to see that out of rs. 613/-, ola cab has charged rs. 285/- on toll tax and other taxes which the driver had neither paid anywhere nor the receipt of the same is being provided in my invoice. The bill was too much as per my estimated amount shown in fare estimate before ride. I also asked ola by email about the break up of rs. 285/- charged as toll taxes & other taxes, to which they are silent till now. I request you to kindly take up the matter, so that innocent consumers don't get caught in these type of frauds.

              Crn[protected], dated 18 apr - charged approx rs.160 for a travel distance of 4 to 5 kim from hpcl petrol pump (Adjt to ashok hotel), delhi to yusuf sarai, delhi rs 160 (Sedan)
              Crn[protected], booked on 19 apr for ride on 20 apr - no info about driver & veh details and were recd at 15 to 20 min before. Driver did not contacted and says your mob is switched off. After contacting, though he said he will be reaching pick up point, did not come & stayed at gate (Security allowed him after my intervention). Non-co-operative, arrogant and says if you do not want he will cancel and go. It is for flight catch from crossings republik to delhi airport in the early hours 0300 hrs.
              Crn[protected], 24 apr 2016, 1216 hrs - driver took the booking and later says location is wrong, he will take longer time, advised to go to app and cancel booking by mentioning "mood changed' which is not right. He will be penalised, in case he could not perform. Unilaterally cancelled booking from driver side.

              Ola Cabs — Cab driver drop me in between the journey.

              I m bhaskar singh, i booked ola cab at night 1 am, from ghatkopar to kalyan on 17th april 2016, i was with my family, but he took me at gansoli and dropped us there on highway and also he took extra charges from us. Driver name is ramesh subhash shinde, (Ola mini red wagnor).

                I have booked cab on 23rd april 8pm from east tbm railway station to kovilambakkam, and they have charged multiply of 3 times with normal charge and stating that this is the peak hour charge. Really dont know what they meant peak hour charge.
                Is this is a good way of earning money from people i never recommending ola, also they are providing coupons also not usable for advertisement purpose only sending some unworthy coupons they are cheating people pls be aware

                There was no parking incurred in the ride which has been wrongly charged. I stood outside the Howrah Railway Station and I confirmed with the driver that no parking charge has incurred.The driver was also not good as he insisted me to take a long route. Please go through my complain asap.

                  On 24-Apr-2016 1:45 Pm, I booked a Ola micro and traveled from ghaziabad to old Delhi. After reaching there, driver informed me that the charge is Rs 404. I paid in cash to him.When I went through the bills of my ride, I found that Rs. 100 was charged under the State Tax/MCD charges.While the actual toll charged by the Uttar Pradesh government for a taxi crossing over from Delhi is Rs. 60, the cab operator has been charging higher.Ola is nicely bluffing customers.

                    On 16-Apr-2016 09:44 am, I booked a Ola mini and traveled from Saligramam to Triplicane. After reaching there, driver Manikandan informed me that the charge is Rs.184. I paid in cash to him. My mobile was on low battery. After the my customs at my destination, I charged my mobile. I got message that the amount Rs.184 had been paid from my Ola money account. After reaching back my home, I have given rating as 1 star and explained the incident and requested Ola to return the money to my Ola money account.

                    Till now I did not get the money. Since there is no way lodge a complaint in Ola mobile application, I am lodging it through website. Kindly look into the matter and arrange to return the money to my Ola money account.

                      I booked an ola cab today 24/2/16 at 11.55 am crn no.[protected] driver name vishwa pratap vehicle no.Up 32 fn 5990 got a confirmation message from ola giving me drivers name and vehicle no.When i called the driver to tell him about the exact location to pick up he was very rude and when i asked the reason he became abusive and point blankly said he is not going to come.
                      I hope your organisation wil take stern action against the driver or should i file a police complaint against him.

                        I had book Micro cab as it had appeared on my ola app i booked that cab. we received a cal from driver we reached our destination and den wen i received my ebill on ma phone it was mentioned its a mini cab...

                        All the rates were accordingly mini cab . ijust dont understand if micro cabs r not available then why simply ur bluffing customers if micro are not available we would hAVE BOOKED SHARE ola ..

                        Ola is nicely bluffing customers under this micro option they are showing micro cab availabe and wen we book it they nicely transfer it to mini .cause we have asked while sitting in cab dat is it ola micro that driver said no mam i hv kept ola micro option off because this is peak time..and that cab was mini...

                        twice this thing happend and this is really bad what ola is doing..

                          I travelled in ola ac cab on 24/04/2016 from tambaram bus stand to velacherry venkestwara 2nd cross street it cost 597 rupees for only 16 km.The bus ticket from madurai to chennai itself is only 600 rupees.I have paid a high price for the cab.The cab no is tn 11w 5268.
                          Take my complaint seriously or ill book a case on ola company

                            Today I booked a prime car from your ola cabs which is handling by so-called professionals. Me and my family were waiting for half an hour for your cab on kalindi kunj Road after waiting for that much time your driver rang me and stating that he doesn't know the way to kalindi kunj that time he was just1 km far from pick up point after half an hour he told me this and then I try to make him understand he disconnected my call and I kept calling him for long time but he didn't response me at all. Driver name: dhiraj Kumar malhotra.car swift dzire no.DL1RT9788. I am having high expectations that ola will take some appropriate action on the driver. And last but not the least today is the last day of ola apps in my mobile... Bye

                              Yesterday[protected] by 19:00 hours, i had a book a ola cab and made atleast 10 bookings . Each time the driver denied to go to noida and all the drivers did not had a up tax so they categorically denied to go to the noida
                              ( my destination point ) . One driver agreed to go to noida and when i board the cab, he later on denied and asked me to get down from cab . He left me alone near the delhi jaipur highway . Then i tried to book another cab and kept trying till 21:45 hours but no one agreed to go to noida, then i walked towards the nearest metro which was 3 kms from where the ola driver left me. And i took the rapid metro from micromax station ( dlf phase 2 ) by 22:30 hours. I reached at home by 00:30 hours ..
                              I was so surprised to see this unprofessional behaviour of driver that i could never expect from. I will go legal now and make sure i take a strict action against ola. This is insane, how can the ola leave their customers in this way and what can a person do during emergency..

                              Issue 1 - I made 10 bookings from gurgaon on Friday 22nd April 2016 . each time the driver denied to go to Noida stating they don't have UP tax.

                              Issue 2 - after 10 bookings, one driver agreed to go. When we crossed the gurgaon toll plaza he asked me to get down from cab as he can't go to Noida . I called the OLA support team but driver refused to talk to ola team.

                              Issue 3 - driver left me alone by 7:15 pm at NH8 high way .after that I tried to book many more cabs but each time the driver denied to go to Noida .

                              Issue 3 - my amount got deducted from the ride, where driver left me alone on NH8 .
                              After trying to book from 7 pm to 10pm, I finally decided to take rapid metro from micromax metro station . it took me further 2.5 hours to reach to my home sector 120.

                              Issue 4 - you guys blocked my account and when I spoke to one of your representative, he told me to read T&C.

                              I have lodged a consumer complaint and will take a legal action against you. Wait and watch .

                              This is what I expect the service from OLA . this is the third time I got faced such challenge .
                              No Helpline No support from the OLA CABS.


                              OLA not even fall in category which can get even 1 star also.Utter waste service.

                              Advise you not to use OLA services.

                                I rode from Taj Lands End to Kandivili yesterday using Ola Share service.

                                The driver took cash as it was Ola share and later I got a notification that the same amount had been deducted from Ola Money also. I ended up paying double .

                                I want to lodge a formal complaint against the driver and the services and demand immediate refund for the same.

                                  I am a frequent Ola cab services user and have used the Ola share module as well. Till now I have not faced issues with any driver and was quite content with Ola's services. Today, I booked an OLA under their shared service. This driver not only took his time to come to the pickup point, but insisted on advance payment before being ferried to my location and said that this is the norms of Ola share. I told that I had availed Ola share before also and no driver has asked for the fare payment in advance. No where has it ever been mentioned before that Ola share has an advance payment system.

                                  He kept on insisting and was quite rude in his approach. Fed up with his behaviour, I alighted the vehicle after I repproached him for his rudeness. he came rushing out of the car and charged towards me and was abusive and insisted that I pay up even if I do not avail of the cab ride. I too am quite robustly built and threatened to retaliate and lodge a complaint against him and it is then only that he sped away. I have lodged a complaint with Ola as well but am not sure if they will take any appropriate action against this unruly driver.

                                  I want strict legal action taken against this driver and want OLA to explain how they will ensure such an incidence doesn't occur again with anyone. lest I will take strong legal action against them.

                                      I had booked a cab on 19th of April for 20th april, 7:40pm for my travel to the station as i had a train to catch for 10:00pm form Chennai central. Before 15mins i got a call from the driver stating Sorry Mam ! i am one hour away from you location and i will not be able to reach on time and he requested for the cancellation. I can really understand the driver but i fail to understand OLA as a company .

                                      Customer trusts you after booking a cab. I immediately called OLA so called CUSTOMER CARE (which doesnot care about its customers at all). The customer care representative used his "REHEARSED LINES" - "OHH MAM! so SORRY TO HEAR ABOUT IT", BUT THERE IS HARDLY I CAN DO ANYTHING FOR YOU PLEASE BOOK ANOTHER CAB".

                                      I mean seriously ? this is your CARE FOR THE CUSTOMER? they wanted me to book another cab pay 3X the charges just for nothing but to make profit ? instead of giving me another cab they put an offense against the driver ? why dont they put an offense against themselves as a company as OLA Doesnot have a policy of giving another cab but they surely have a policy for 3X charging the customer. They are never ashamed of charing 1000rupees also for a 20km travel. I really wonder what will happen if the Suresh prabhu gets inspired by their working model. Trains will also start charging like that .

                                      My troubles didnot end there, my friends and i tried to book another cabs and here is what we got, thousands of calls from N number of drivers rejecting the booking as soon as they got to know the drop location. THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH OLA NOT THE DRIVERS, you dont teach them how to use maps, you dont teach them how to talk, they dont know the routes.. Booking a cab is like fighting for your life, something more frustrating than your daily challenges at office and personal life. You waste an hour of your time if you book OLA.

                                      ATLAST UBER came to my rescue. ELse i would have never reached the station on time and missed my train and OLA would have nothing apart from saying SORRY.

                                      I want to ask OLA, who will pay for the torture from them and the time i wasted in booking the cab and talking to the drivers. ?
                                      And you dont deserve 1 star also there is no option for giving negative rating, else you would have come first OLA.
