I am Ajay Kumar Singh and I booked a Ola cab mini on 17 Jul 15 from Malkapuram, Vizag to Vizag Railway station. Ola cabs given me three drivers numbers. When I called them they refused to come. They told that I am very far, I don't have diesel, I am already booked for some other customer etc. When I called Ola customer care he told that we are sending a car for you within 5 minutes. But, just 40 minutes before train departure I received a message from Ola cabs that sorry. Result is that I paid Rs.1000/- to a auto for going to Vizag Station which is just Rs.200/- fare. Again the same story was repeated in Mumbai on 04 Aug 15. I got drivers number and when I called him, He told that sir I have received order for another customer. Again I arranged another taxi and paid more fare due to this careless company. I just want that Ola Cabs should return my fare.

    I happened to travel by ola cabs at around 6 pm today and I was shocked to see the final bill of Rs.1356/- for a 43 km ride (for 2 hours trip). I had booked through ola-app a mini cab and even though there was an instruction about the 2x fare during peak-hour operation while booking, I sincerely feel that this is an unjustified way of business ethics. Well, everyone knows that Ola is following an unethical way of slashing rates during its maiden year of operation thereby slowly driving out the competitors and then once the competition dies, they slowly show their real MNC face by increasing the tariff. I do not understand how the 2x rates during peak-hour is justified, since I learnt that they are not paying the cab-driver any additional perks or charges. Just because they are providing better discounts in other services doesn't necessarily mean that they are at liberty to charge 2x charges during peak hours. I have decided not to use OLA again and I have removed the OLA APP from my smartphone. Let this be an eye-opener for the concerned operator. regards PRADEEP KUMAR

      Mostly I use Uber as the cab service to travel within the city in Delhi. Today, somehow, I tried OlaCab for the first time and it was worst ever experience. I had to leave at 10:15am for the Nizzamudin Railway Station - A well known place in Delhi to board the train at 11:30am. I kept some buffer time expecting this kind of mishap and traffic in Delhi. First I booked the cab (CRN[protected] at 10:06 and it was supposed to reach by 10:15am to pick up. Nothing happened for next 9 minutes. When called the cab driver, he said that he was in Noida and won't be able to come as the pick up location was in Delhi. He would charge extra for that and suggested to cancel. Eventually I lost 13 min in between. Second cab booked ((CRN[protected] Deshraj) - No Call Received - After this experience - Called after 5 min to cab driver. Driver's response was - If you pay in cash, I'll come. I don't do the rides for OlaMoney. What the heck? I was running out of time. I told him that I'll pay in cash to him if he comes. He agreed. After 10 min of waiting, when I called, he was apprehensive if I will pay him in cash but with OlaMoney as Ola has already debited my credit card. Resulted into the same fate - Cancelled Third Cab Booked ((CRN[protected] Bhupendra) - Same here - No call received - Called the driver immediately - Driver asked for the destination - After knowing that I'd go to Nizzammudin, he cancelled it. I wont go there because of bla...bla..bla reasons. I was testing my waters. It went horrible because I have already lost my buffer time of 40 minutes into it. Fourth Cab Booked (CRN[protected] Ramesh - Upgrade) - I did not book it. I was trying Uber to get in. Meanwhile got a message from Ola about an upgrade ride. I was apprehensive as if it is going to be fulfilled. Having awful experience with Ola so far, I called the driver to cancel the ride as I was booking with Uber meanwhile. The driver pleaded so genuinely that he would reach the pick up point in 5 min and would drop my wife to station safely within time. Again I got into trust and said okay. After 5 min when I called, he did not pick the phone. I again called - he said that someone cancelled the ride when I was about to reach pick up point. I had given his number to my wife. On call, she requested him to come as we have already lost the time and every minute was counting. The driver did not come as the ride was cancelled. Fifth Cab booked - I got a message from Ola about a new cab booking. I was so pissed off that I did not call Ola or the driver. After few minutes I got a message - On your request the cab was cancelled. What the [censored]? - I never had such awful experience in last couple of years with any service provider. May be I chose the wrong provider. It left me with a question : If one booking gets so many issues and drivers make so many excuses, why I should trust you as my preferred ride partner. 10s of my colleagues in my office use Uber to travel within the city everyday and I used to wonder - why they don't get Ola despite it is discussed many times a week for funding. I got my answer today. Is acquiring customers by burning cash in the discount war, the only solution to grow your market share? Do you still care of the users convenience offering wow experience to them? If you'd have given me wonderful experience today, I'd have worked as unpaid marketing agent. Always remember that people don't buy what you do, they buy because why you do it. Do you want to be a company that offers cab to be people or a company that sells experience to its consumers? The choice is yours. *********I just got an update from my wife that the train left platform before she could reach station. Will you be able to pay for the loss that I am going to have - both financially and emotionally? Now I've get to another booking in train which may or may not be available.         The auto driver Bheemappa with Auto number KA03AC3730 showed no respect, spoke rudely & when told to stop to get off earlier because of the uncomfortable environment created by his high tone rude talks, did not do as told. It is unfortunate that Ola have hired such mannerless people who have no respect for customers & spoil the name of their company. Ola should fire such people. Don't think Ola will be recommended to anyone for such behavior.

          I hired an Ola cab from Baner to Mukundnagar. As per driver, it was 15 Km. And he charged rs. 342 . After asking he said that it auto generated. Actually cost should be : (First 2 km Rs 49) + (Remaining 13 km * Rs 12/km ) = 205. But later understood they charge Rs 18 for service tax and Rs 1/min for time required for travel. This was hidden cost. Anyways, even if we assume that, he should have charged not more than Rs 280 max (if they have any more hidden cost). Thing is, while driving he was continuously talking over phone with his family. We asked him not to use mobile while driving but he did not listen. Also, he was not able to listen to shortest way we are suggesting. Purposely he took long route. Even after requesting him, he was taking his own ways, which increased time as well as Kms. After complaint, Ola returned my extra money to my Ola account. But still because of driver I had to pay more than expected. And it was risky to be on phone while you drive.

            I took a ride with Ola on 11th August 2015 in Kolkata. I took the ride within the time frame of an offer valid until 5pm. Even after successfully adding the coupon the driver charged me Rs. 127 after my ride. The bill I received says Bill amount Rs. 124 and cash to be paid Rs. 74. I don't know why I was asked to pay more than the total bill amount leave the discount. Now because I paid cash I do not have a proof of such payment, hence Ola can easily get away with this. I have been mailing Ola for the past two days with one robotic response followed by mail delivery failures to the same address. It is disgusting how this company robs its consumers and then happily furnishes an auto response. This insolent lot doesn't pick up calls and even if they do, they cut the call as soon as they understand they are caught. This is not the first time Ola has harassed me and also my family by cancelling trips and charging for that. I am not putting this complaint to get the money back but to ensure Ola has a tough time beyond this point. Kindly help me in this matter.

              Dear Ankit, Greetings of the day. Primarily allow me to introduce myself. My name is Rahul Gautam, and I am associated with hospitality industry since 13 years now. I am presently working as Associate Food and Beverage Director at Kempinski, New Delhi. The incident took place on the 30th June 2015, and due to nature of my busy operation I was unable to report this matter to you in time. I and my family were travelling to Mumbai by Mumbai Rajdhani on the 30th of June. We had to board the train at 2300 hours from New Delhi train station. Though we have Delhi metro station only 3 kms away as this mode of transport taken only 45 minutes for us to reach the train station, however with extra baggage at hand and being hassle free I decided of booking OLA cab. As this was my first time for OLA, hence I called OLA for a cab to be booked only to know that I need to download the OLA App in order to book the cab. Hence, I downloaded the App. And booked a Economy Sedan, as we were 4 o[censored]s and my 1.5 years son. I booked the cab at 3.30pm for pickup at 9.30pm. At 6.23 pm I received a text from OLA cab “Ola Rahul gautam! Your booking with CRN95811666 has been received for 30Jun, 9.30PM. We look forward to having you onboard!” Hence, we all packed are bags, had dinner and were ready for the clock to reach 9.30 to start our beautiful journey towards Mumbai. While it was 9.00 I received another text on my mobile saying “Say OLA to your driver HARISH BABU ([protected]) for CRN 95811666. White Maruti Swift Dzire HR %% T 3961 to pick you up @ 9.30pm, 30 Jun. Call 011 – 33553355 for support. Please share https://www.olacabs.com/track/52rbu2ilh with friends/family and let them track you.” Hence, we were now sure that who would be coming and OLA indeed knows how to serve their customers well. At around 9.25, I thought of calling the driver and asking if he has lost the way or he is stuck in traffic jam, when I picked up my phone I saw another text as received at 9.10 pm mentioning “OLA! We regret to inform the cancellation of your booking CRN 95811666. We’d have loved to serve you!” Looking at this I was completely shocked of not knowing what to do with this limited time at hand. Hence my father told me to go to the main road (5 min by bike from home) and get couple of Autos. Hence, I immediately took my bike and went to get autos, unfortunately, I could not get a hand of a single auto, trying for good 15 minutes. The time was already 9.50, while I took the decision of coming back home. I immediately took the decision of taking the family in our car to the nearest metro station from where I can get hold of Autos (as Metro station have Autos lined up for customers). We took all the luggage down quickly from 1st floor to the ground floor, locked all the doors and finally sat in the car. The time was around 10 pm took the whole family to the near by metro station, and tried getting an auto, where I ended up arguing with an auto as he was not ready to go till train station mentioning that police creates problems for them at this part of Delhi. Finally he agreed. Hence, my moth and my wife along with my son and the entire luggage, except a suitcase (we had 8 baggage in total, small and big) were loaded on the auto and they left immediately. I informed my father to go up the metro station and buy metro tickets for him and for me and in the meantime I will go back and leave the can and return to board metro. I hurriedly, drove car back to home and then rushed towards metro station, it took me altogether 20 minutes to return. We boarded metro at 10.20 pm. At Rajiv Chowk, Connaught Place as we had to change the metro for New Delhi train station, I fell down along with my suitcase as there was a huge rush at that point in time. While we reached Connaught place, I called my mother to inform to take a Coolie for the luggage so that they comfortably board the train. Finally we reached at 10.55 at the train station and ran towards the train station, my father is already 65 and it was such a harrowing situation and so difficult to express. Finally we reached, exactly one minute before the train to depart. I would now like to know what action has been taken for a scenario such as this and what compensation I should be looking for from OLA (I do not look forward for compensation, however I feel there is a need to do so as we all completely felt harassed).                 Innova hired thru ola cab on 10 august around 6.30 pm in bangalore. Driver name Uday.V. KA01AB1876. i had undergone spine surgery some years ago. driver was talking on mobile phone and driving. to avoid hitting a vehicle in front he applied sudden brake as he did not notice the vehicle stopping as he was shouting on the phone to some one. i fell down and hit the front seat my neck got hurt very badly. i have pain and feeling dizzy often today. when i told him to stop talking, he shouted at me, intimidated and said "IT IS AN IMPORTANT CALL. I[censored] DONT WANT, GET OUT OR ILL THROW U YOU OUT"... It was heavy rain around 7.10 pm yesterday in bangalore on inner ring road. THIS IS A CRIMINAL ACT. WHAT IF IT WAS AN ELDERLY PERSON OR A LADY??? WHO IS TO QUESTION SUCH PEOPLE? ARE WE HELPLESS IN THE HANDS OF SUCH RUDE, ARROGANT PEOPLE WHO SEEM TO HAVE LOST THEIR SANITY? dilip b

                  I booked a cab on 12/08/2015 about 2.52pm driver name Albert Anand and his mobile number [protected], cab no TN 22 CS2962, booking confirmed and i got CRN number[protected]from OLA. I want to go home with my dad from hospital driver picked me up from hospital and he asked my destination i said my address and he suddenly refused to go there he said its much traffic area i wont go there and he asked me to leave his car. I am help less and i booked the another car from ola and that driver dropped me on my destination

                    This is for you ola ...I booked a cab from airport and I called him but there is one more cab written ola on it, so I asked driver did u got booking then he said it was me only and asked to get in...after starting journey he revealed that he is not the one and asked me to pay 800 for maruti indica from bia to kundalahalli gate...and he stopped on main road and told if i want to get in to kundalahalli gate he needs again 100 rs which is not of 200meters his cab number:ka02ad9165 ...and took 120rs for toll charges

                      I believed that Ola cabs had a really good service. But they are pure ripoff. I traveled from my place to airport crossing one toll gate. The driver charged me for the toll fees. I repeatedly mention that will be included in the invoice but he didn't agree and I had to pay him as I was getting delayed for my flight. Later I called customer care and lodged the complaint. They gave me complaint number and confirmed that the same will be credited to my account. But they are no less than others. I had to make 5 calls to request the same and was confirmed it will be done in 24 hours. Once money taken by ola is never refunded. Very poor customer service and they cant be trusted. They are just ripping people and making money left right center.

                        I was a big fan of ola, until last few bad experiences. 1)on 1st aug my 2 hrs advanced booking was cancelled last minute by the arrogant driver at mangalore - result: missed the flight 2) trivandrum, on 7th -even after advance booking no show by the driver- called customer support-they said they are sending a vehicle-waited for 1 hr -no response 3)trivandrum, booked on 8th morning-driver calls me &asks where to go ? when i said kovalam, reluctantly agrees but never turns up.When i called again he says vehicle is spoilt. -re booked driver refused to come -excuse was he cannot get return customer

                          Mene koi trip nahi kiya tha...fir bhi unno ne mere ola money meh se 150..rs deduct kar diya...help me... Mene pehle uss cab ko...book.kara tha par fir uska phone aaya aur usne kaha car tyre was punctured... So I booked another cab...but puncture wali cab ne...bhi 150deduct kara liya without getting any ride... My phone no is [protected]

                            Ola charges me Rs 1287 for just 40km in 60min citing it is dynamic pricing. The cab is old Tata indica, non ac and that has already run 100000 kms. God save people from such subtle and cunning tactics. This is the costliest ride to the airport in my life... The best provided would not have charged more than 700. Happy that they are not in Hospital business. they may charge for fever also Rs 100, 000

                              I booked a evening flight and decided to use to use ola cabs from my house to the shamshabad airport which is exactly 40 km from my house. I have already deposited some money in ola account and have been using their services for a year now. When I got down at the airport, I was charges Rs 1287 for just 40 kms in 60min. I come to know from them that it was peak hour pricing at 1.9 times the regular charges. I could have booked a regular cab where the price is already fixes before. Ola cab advertises a price and they charge multiples times the price citing that they follow dynamic pricing. Now that I already have additional Rs 1500 in my account, I am afraid if this continues they may charge Rs 1500 per km citing that the multiplication factor is 1500. The cab that I travelled was a non ac Tata Indica cab which was so old that it must be in its last year. Taking advantage of passengers like me and taking advantage that they have not made any other arrangement for travel and ripping is fraudulent. There should be some price regulators for them otherwise they will cheat al passengers and make them pauper

                                I had booked a cab one day before early in the morning at 5:20am and at 5:15am the driver cancels the booking saying it is due to distance. why have they given the option to book prior if they can't provide adequate service? after that they allot me a cab and charge me 2.5times the fare! I feel thoroughly cheated by the company!

                                  I have been an old customer of Ola cab services, but experience o[censored]sing OLA CABS this time has been very pathetic/ painful. By going through the following contents, you can understand the pain of your loyal customers. Booking done for dropping at Bangalore International Airport via booking number CRN[protected]pickup Time 3:40 A.M. on 9th August 2015). The booking was done by my Ola app for dropping my parents who were travelling from Bangalore to Dehradun via New Delhi. Driver/Cab details: Lokesh, mob number: [protected], Cab: KA 51 9257 (Tata Indica) Below were the instances of what all has happened in the journey to the airport. 1) My parents boarded the cab at 3:40 AM in the morning, while travelling to the airport they got to know that the driver did not knew the route to the airport and also he was not able to use the GPS. Also when we book a ride, the app asks us for the destination and the driver accepts the request, so in that case he should know the route to the destination. 2) The driver only knew the local language, he even did not know the basis of English or Hindi and my parents were not able to communicate to him properly. 3) The cab was not in a good condition and on the way the cab breaks down, the pickup of the car was very low and the driver was only able to drive not more than 30-40 km per hr. The actual distance to airport from Murugeshpalya to the airport is close to 42 Kms and after travelling 55kms (I don’t know how and which route the driver has taken) he ended up dropping my parents in some village near to the outskirts of Bangalore which was again 15 Kms far from the airport (the cab stopped running after that). My parents then requested some car which was travelling on the way to the airport to drop them, once they reached the airport at 5:40 AM in the morning, the counter of the airlines was closed and they refused to board them. We ended up booking 3 new tickets from Bangalore to New Delhi for Rs. 27441 so that they can catch the connecting flight from Delhi to Dehradun. Please feel our pain of missing the flight and again spending of Rs.27441/-on purchasing 3 new tickets all because of pathetic services of OLA CABS in Bangalore. Request you to please look into the matter in detail and arrange refund of our new tickets cost Rs.27441/-at the earliest. Looking forward to hear on this from your side very soon!                                     Couple of weeks agao I have used OLA cab in Chennai. On the way we had two tolls and; driver got ZERO toll on the first toll booth and on the second toll driver asked me to get the toll charge. Its usual thing we have to get the toll charge we we hire cab as like as any other cab services in Chennai (but OLA has a policy that driver should pay the toll charge and OLA will charge it in the invoice. But I am not aware of it and that driver cheated me.). We got down in the destination and paid the amount that displays in the driver's device. After sometime I back to home and seen the invoice of OLA cab sent me. I comes to know that I invoice has a toll charge of Rs.46/- even I I have paid the toll charge (For first toll ZERO toll and for second toll I have paid Rs. 24/-; so total I paid is Rs. 24/-) of Rs. 24/-. I have contacted the customer support through email and not understanding properly and they refunded me Rs. 22/- as a OLA money (I don't know what calculation they did.); but they have to refund me Rs. 46/- in mathematically. Also they do over charge on the ride as every ride time will have cost. I don't like the way they behave and the customer support. Thanks, Nanda

                                      Dear OLA Cabs, I have booked Ola sedan cab on 07th August in the evening (ref no. CRN[protected] for my late night travel on 07th August at 10.30 P.M. from New Delhi Railway Station to Noida Sector 41. I have done the booking well in advance on 07th August evening (5.30 PM) because I have to travel all alone in the late night. Hence, if the the cab would not available I would look for other cab providers. On 7th August at around 10 PM first I received the message mentioning the cab no. DL1YD0392 and Chauffeur Name SHASHI KANT stating that the cab is on the way to pick me up. But then again I received another message at 10.05 PM that my booking had been cancelled. To my surprise when I called up to the Customer care I came to know that the driver denied to come and cancelled my booking stating that he is far away from New Delhi Railway Station so won't be able to reach on time. Then I called the customer care to let them know the details and to arrange another cab to pick me up on time. As I was travelling the network was not working properly and I could not book another cab via mobile app. But the customer care support denied to do so and after made them understand my situation they convinced to book the cab via telephone Then I received another message stating cab no. DL1YE5415 and Chauffeur Name UPENDER and stating the pick up time is 10.45 PM which is already 15 minutes delay than the actual booking time. Then again at 10.41 PM I received another message that my booking had been cancelled again. When I called the customer care for the second time, they were stating that even this driver had again cancelled the booking stating the same reason. To my utmost disappointment I again requested the customer care to book a cab but it was already late than the scheduled booking time. Now to my shock, they told there are no cabs available at the moment and I have to look for other arrangement with a 'SORRY'. On my insist they had assigned me another cab and sent me a message stating the cab no. DL1YE0466 and Chauffeur Name Anand and now the pick up time was given 11.05 PM which is already 30 minutes delay than the actual booking time and quite a dangerous to wait all by myself at the station. All the data I have mentioned can be verified from your customer service staff for its genuineness.Bill is attached for your reference. Now please give me a proper explanation that this is how OLA treats their customer, by not keeping up to their promises when a customer has booked well in advance a cab? To let you know, I had MERU and UBER cabs who were providing me around Rs. 250/- off for their first ride, but just because OLA is reliable (well that's what I thought till that point of time), I chose to ride with OLA. Is this your professionalism and responsibility towards your customer? They were simply cancelling my booking as the drivers were cancelled the trip. Then why they were providing those drivers who were far away from station and can not take the ride to that customers?? And if a driver is cancelling the trip is it the customer's responsibility to pay/suffer like that? Why OLA put me into sheer harassment and hassle for the booking which I had done quite in advance? Where is my fault in that? Who gave the authority to the drivers to cancel a customers booking if he is not available? If it is so then why the customer care is not providing any optional arrangement to the customer than simply cancel the booking? But I felt terribly cheated and my trust with OLA cabs shattered. Needless to say I will never book a OLA again and will inform all my family, friends and colleagues about my bitter experience with the OLA Cab providers. Also I will blog about this at various forums so that other customers don't go through the same harrowing experience. Moreover even after my constant reminders, the invoice has been sent to me today only. This kind of service is terrible. If proper explanation is not provided to me, I will also draft a mail to your Senior Mr. Bhavish Aggarwal, Co-Founder and CEO and Mr. Ankit Bhati, Co-Founder and CTO, asking them that this is how OLA's treatment is suppose to be? And this is how OLA shows professionalism in this competitive era where there are 100 cab providers? Thanks Debaleena Debnath Mukherjee

                                        Ola Is a fraud cheating and disguisting cabs... they have charged me 700 rs for an 8km ride... when i tallk with customer care he told it was a peak time... so Please Dont Encourage this type of cabs ... Iam posting this because this complaint will not repeate to any other person...
