I had booked a cab for ride later. At last minute, the driver called and said that he can't come as the picking destination is more than 5 km from the picking location. So, I called the customer service and complained. So, the customer care said that he will personally book the cab and confirmed with the driver. Again, messaged me the driver details. So, I called the driver and he said the same thing as the first aloted driver that the destination is far from the picking location. Once again, I called the customer care to complaint and requested to talk to higher officials but he kept he phone for hold around 10 minutes and no one responded. I called customer care again and complaint. They last time when, I called the customer care said that there are no higher officials to control them. Just imagine, If a girl booked their cab service at night and they repeat the same mistake. So, irresponsible their service and their customer care. Really, wasted my time and money using OLA CABS!!!. Date of Incident: 31/7/15

    Today I had a very sad experience with ola cabs Delhi. I booked a ride at 12:05 pm from ola app...driver called me and asked me the location and I guided him the same. I was standing on the road for around 20 min and after waiting for so long on the road I suddenly got a message that my ride has been cancelled...i missed a very imp meeting and had a very huge financial loss because of it...when I called the customer care they were of no help at all...driver's name was mohd hanif and cab no.DL 1 YE 1150 ; booking id was CRN[protected]. This was a really sad experience and I will never use ola services again and will make sure that no one known to me will use their services.

      Hello, I, Satish, booked OLA cab on 24th July, 2015 through my friend Segar mobile app. While booking it was shown that 2.4X. we were unaware about this that 2.4X means 2.4 times of total taxi fare. Final taxi fare was Rs. 1085. Usual fare will come around Rs. 300-400. Total distance travelled was 31.58 KM. When I called customer care, they have informed me that 2.4X is due to peak hours extra fare. As per Ola customer care peak hours will be from 6pm to 12am. Please find the attached cash bill from Ola. And kindly resolve this issue as early as possible.
      Yes, if an Auto OR Cab Driver directly demands Rs. 50 more than meter charges when there is demand, we abuse them & call them cheats. Now what do you call this OLLLA ???????.

        OLAMONEY deduction must be password protected. Some sort of confirmation from the wallet money owners like keying in password/ OTP etc shold be made mandatory in the smart phone of the drivers. Otherwise mistakes or mischief will affect the customers adversely. Unnecessarily dispuyes will arise. OLACABS are deducting money peacefully from my account on their own.

          booked a cab with my aunts mobile for first ride as per scheme she got rs 200 but the driver saw the ladies and started making for money demand that she have to pay it is shown in his device and later i talked to him the way was very bad and he dont accept his fault and said you have to complaint you can make it..

            Today I took a cab .Cab Number KA465365 .Name -Manjunath .I wanted to go to Whitfield .As sson as I sat in the cab, He noticed that I am not from Bangalore .He said he cannot deduct money from OLA Money and wants me to pay my cash .After 15 minutes I relazied that he is taking a loner route which will cost will extra 15 kms .When I told him about the same he started arguing with me and asked me to pay the amount in cash and cancel the cab immediately . When I did not agree he started using abusive language and told me he can throw me out from the cab .Since I was all alone and could not do knowing this fact new in Bangalore, I told him to take the cab to Whitfiled and we can settle the matter .Over all he overcharged me by 15kms, mentally harresed me .I sent an E-mail OLA customer service however till now not received any response.

              This is Krishna, This complaint is against Ola cab services. I want to create an awareness to the other who wish to use this cab services through app. I have booked Ola cab on 04 Jul, 2015, 03:21 pm (invoice No: CRN[protected] from Narayanapuram to Chennai Central(19.21 KM as per invoice) with a ride time of 48 mins. While booking my estimated bill amount was around 260 rupees and as per my previous experience with other cab services i kept 300 as my cab expenses. In my 4 yrs or using cab services it never exceeded 300 rs with all other cab services. Surprisingly, My bill went to 512 rupees, when i inquired about the same with ola customer care, it has been told that my ride charges are around 280 but due to peak time they charged 227 rupees as peak price charges, that too Saturday 3 PM . My bad time to book ola cab for the first time...i have paid 512 rs where my bill was around 240...i never expected you will charge 80% extra on the name of peak hours during non peak hours.

                Your drivers are absolutely insane and have no respect for your customers. Your app is meant to show location to drivers. I waited for an hour and he then says my location is too far from his and he cannot come. I was on Chennai bypass highway and needed a ride to hospital. Driver name is Dhayalan crn[protected]. I tried again with another booking and I got the same response from another driver. You guys are in service field and your drivers need to learn to respect your customers. I am totally unsatisfied with the experience. I doubt if I would choose Ola on my next trip.

                  yesterday at around 3 pm i a booked a cab whose CRN[protected] is this. he refused to pick me up and said i wont come i have turned my cab from that location you cancel the ride.he also abused me. i even gave a call to ola care but no such action has been taken.i wiil be highly olbige i[censored] take some serious action towards the driver.
                  Same story of all app based taxi operators... I am in Pune and using the services of Ali Cool Cab from last 5 years.

                  Once or twice I tried taxi for sure and ola... But all the time unsatisfactory service with different reasons.

                  I do agree with Naina. Privet taxi operators like Ali Cool Cab (https://www.alicoolcab.com) and Taxi Guru (http://taxigurusolution.com) provides much better service than app based cab operators. Their drivers are more humble and, taxi agencies are more customer centric.

                    This is our bitter experience with OLA cabs.

                    Please read and forward to all your friends, Facebook and everyone. Because, as a Indian citizen it is your duty to inform about FRAUDness.

                    This is completely true cases where I can even submit the proof even in High court OR supreme court of INDIA.

                    I booked cab for family on 20th July, 2015 TIME at 2:40 PM. That is completely a normal time.

                    And we travel to within the city for about 18 km. This is our regular route and we travel many times. We get charge less than Rs.180
                    But, this FRAUD OLA CABS billed us Rs.548

                    Actually I am NOT in the cab and relatives, ladies traveling. After few minutes when I check my bill in the email and SMS I JUST got Shocked.

                    I immediately called my relatives and they too told. We never expected this much. But, since we are in urgent and goes to relatives home. The Driver arguing and we paid the amount.

                    If I was with them. That would be different story.

                    So, I immediately lodged a complaint with OLA cabs on [protected]@olacabs.com
                    But, go reply to email very lately. That TOO with nonsense answers.

                    Thank you for writing in. We apologize for the inconvenience caused with the charges on your ride. However we value your feedback and shall convey the same to the team. From ( Pamidi Naresh - OLA Customer Support ).

                    I was NOT at all convinced with their answer. Because in the email I already told this wasteFellows that I travel regular and I get charge less than Rs.180 SAME TIME as we travel.

                    So, again I sent reply and asked them. It is not just feedback. I want my money back.

                    But, they simply ignored that and send me this email

                    After this this fellows just not receiving my emails. As a technical person I can see my emails are getting bounce back.

                    They are blocking emails. They are thinking that they can FOOL Indians very easily.

                    BUT, I will not sit back and relax. I will inform to everyone and I will also take time and report to responsible government departments who allow license to this FRAUD fellows.

                    So, friends - if you already have experience with OLA cabs OR NOT. But, as a goodness alert to your friends and colleagues. Forward this message to all your friends and facebook contacts.

                      Hi, I would like to complaint you regarding the inconvenience, misbehave and harassment caused by OLA cab for the cab hired from the Bangalore International Airport(KIA) to Hosur road. Me and my husband had booked the cab from airport to Hosur Road and while boarding the cab, we believe that hiring the non AC mini cab will cost us 10 Rs/Km or total expense would be lesser than Rs.1000 as per standard for the other cab services. But when reached the destinations we got shocked when the driver claim Rs. 2480. for the diesel Tata Indica non AC car i.e almost 77.5 Rs/Km. When i tried to explain the driver that this is not a genuine trade, he started shouting outside my apartment and threatened me that he will create a scene at 3:15 AM early morning on 22nd June and he will take me n my husband to police station if I will not give him money.Analyzing the situation as I was standing outside the apartment and being a lady I told him not to create a scene our here and let me talk with OLA customer care and they were disconnecting my call. As when I hire the OLA cab on 12th June 2015 from same my residential location to Bangalore International Airport, had paid only Rs. 1002, then how can I agree with the charges that you are demanding. and the eason driver gave me is peak hours.Peak hours means rain, traffic jam n shortage of cab but we got cab within 2 minutes after booking the cab so simply they cant fool us by telling peak hours. But calling more than 3 times to OLA customer care and explaining my situation to customer care executive, I was told to transferred the call to Sr. Executive and my call was put on hold more than 10 minutes and was disconnected by the customer care executive. Nobody tried to call me back afterwards from OLA customer care side. I was harassed in the midnight on the road, and then I told cab driver to take me to police station and let them decide who is correct in this case as I have all the proofs and i took video of the cab driver accepting that OLA is not loyal with the customer and you should take this matter to higher level and am not the first victim of that, he was influenced by the Senior person from OLA to threaten the customer for calling police. We were roaming on roads at 4 am searching for ATM as driver was harassing us and he didn't analyze that I am a lady and its highly unsafe as whatever he is demanding is totally unfair. My question to OLA is, Do you have any government approved documents which specify the private cabs can charge any unfair amount from the customer at any timings .Let me tell you that Airport taxi SEDAN which was a bigger cab than OLA was charging us[protected] which is 50% lesser than you charged. The reason which we d booked it to save money and we trusted OLA cabs . But what incident happened to me is highly unacceptable and if OLA want me not to take any further action as we have all the proofs and your driver recordings in which driver is harassing and telling its unfair amount, you need to refund my money ASAP. ould you please look into above issue as your customer adviser is not resolving the issue. Need my refund ASAP as Rs 2500 from Airport till Hosa Road is too much and it not right. We trust OLA and want this to be refunded as if you would be in my place, you would also demanded justice .                       I have read your story and actually I came to the site after having heard from many people about this Fraud OLA cabs.

                      As per your story. You made one mistake. You should have immediately called the POLICE and they should have given good treat to that fellows from OLA. After giving money it is just waste of time.

                      NOW at least you can lodge a complaint with police and also send the information to government departments both in your state as well as Delhi.

                      Already there is serious cases going ON with this kind of Cabs. And this should be banned immediately.

                      At least from many people I came to know UBER is charging less and also do not have much such issue.

                      My relatives have same issue and also I have communicated with them on [protected]@olacabs.com
                      But, this fellows giving non sense answers. And saying sorry and we take this as feedback.

                      After which I got irate and ask them I will file a case. I want money along with compensation but, now they are just making their system to bounce my email back.

                      MY Suggestion to you is, DO NOT take this lite and try everything to report to concern government department. Also you will get phone number and complete details of the driver as well. File a case with police as well.

                      If police do not respond properly then you can directly report to Human Ministry as well.

                      OUR system is worst. That departments take action only if something goes wrong on big basis.

                        Dear sir, I booked cab from OLA in Hyderabad the fare details which are given at the time of booking are as follows FARE DETAILS Minimum bill Rs 80 for the first 4 Km. After 4 Km Rs 9 per Km and Rs 2 per minute but i was wrongly charged by OLA its details are FARE BREAKUP Base fare for 30 km: ₹499.0 Rate for 9.69 km: ₹116.28 Wait time charge for 22.93 min: ₹45.86 TAX BREAKUP Service Tax ₹31.42 (Included in total fare) And the total fare was Rs. 713 for 39.69 Km. but according the details given to me at the time of booking the fare should be for first 4 Km. Rs. 80 after 4 Km. Rs. 9 per km i.e. 35.69 x 9 = 321.21 & the total fare should be 321.21+100 = 421.21. so I request you to refund me the excess amount charged from me.                         Unless you drag them to the court and ask for compensation. If you are aware once you lodge a case you can also ask for 20 times the price you are expectiing

                        You are NOT just new. They are doing day robbery and cheating many and many people.

                        PLEASE check all complaints on OLA just by searching in Google and you can find thousands of complaints just this month.

                        Also I request you to check all complaints. And forward to all friends, facebook contacts. Government department and everyone

                        WE need to BAN These fraud OLA cabs

                            Hello, My sister had a horrifying ride today with OLA cab. The distance from Mahadevapura to St.Marks Road was just 11-12 km.but the ride went on for 22 km and close to 2 hours. All because the driver took some weird shortcuts on the way away from main road.Raising suspicion she immediately called me up and raised the concern and then it was somehow managed to reach to destination without any harm. She is very new to Bangalore and got very scared after the driver misrouted and unnecessarily roamed around here and there. This is an alarming thing to be checked and proper action to be taken against the driver before it becomes a nation wide fame for OLA and a life threatening issue for the passenger. Not to the mention the refund which I want for the extra pain passenger had to go through and delays incurred. She had travelled the same distance at same time earlier by Uber and it came around Rs160 and 12KM and it definitely ain't this long in any traffic condition and Rs 509. Looking for a response from concerned officials.

                            It is just waste of time contacting their customer care.

                            SIMPLY lodge a complaint with government.


                            They will listen only ONCE they are banned.

                            Here you need to realize the local government departments responsible for providing license to their services.

                            JUST taking TAXES is not government duty. If they cannot stop this kind
                            of fraud then there is no need of those departments. We are already
                            paying too too much taxes and because of our taxes ONLY they are living.
                            Either police. Government or any department.
                            Finally got my money back from OLA

                              Dear sir, This is to notify you that I, Rituraj Singh Butola had made a booking with OLA CABS on 19th July for a cab to be provided (pick up point Gurgaon and drop point Domestic Airport) on 20th July at 4:30 a.m This booking was extremely urgent as I had an important meeting in Mumbai on the morning of 20th July. I had made the booking on 19th July at 11:07 am and had been assured that I would get the driver details half an hour before my pick up. I called up again at 11:29 PM of 19th July re-confirming my booking. I was given an assurance again. On 20th July, at 3:55 a.m i got a message from OLA cabs with the driver details (Mr Sandeep, Mob No. [protected], Cab No. - HR 56A 5670) However, after 5 minutes I got a call from the driver who stated Tyre Puncture as his reason for not being able to pick me up as scheduled, confirmed and re-confirmed by the company. Since, it was a very urgent meeting which I could not afford to miss, I called up OLA cabs again helplessly asking for alternatives. They informed me that no cabs whatsoever would be available until an hours time. They messaged me at 5:53 a.m saying "We regret to inform the cancellation of your booking CRN[protected] We'd have loved to serve you." I ended up missing my flight. This is not the kind of service expected out of a company that is operating all over India. I hope this issue is rightly addressed and a compensation of my loss is made. I not only missed my flight but a very important business meeting. On behalf of millions o[censored]sers, i urge you to kindly treat this as urgent and do the needful.'                                 I have booked a cab from my place to Airport at morning 3:15 AM but there was no response up to 4 AM, after we booked a cab in fast track which was superb came in 5 minutes after my call.We got a message containing driver mobile number from OLA, At that time we starting traveling and we canceled OLA booking.

After waiting for 10mins I called their assigned driver Sushil Roy who yelled about trying to call me and then cancelled my booking. The other driver didn't bother to receive my call or come to my address. Ola assigned a third driver Gajanand Dubey who was to come within 10minutes. On calling him, he said he was 40mins away. He also asked about my destination and then refused to drop me there, asking me to cancel the booking. When I refused his request, he said he would cancel it. After 15mins I receive a bill of ₹146 from Ola. And after 40mins the second driver arrives to my address, denying about any cancellation requests made by him.I called Ola Cabs to complain about the entire ordeal, and they promised to cancel my bill. But that hasn't been cancelled yet.

                                  I have booked a cab on 26.07.15 at18:00 hrs and OLA confirm the same. At 5:40 when no driver details comes to me than I call the customer care and the reply was positive from that side and confirm the driver details will be send with in 10 minutes.
                                  After 10 min. The driver details is received to me through SMS. At 5:55 when there is no response from driver ie no call than I called him and surprisingly he deny to come and pick me up than immediately call the customer care and she puts my call on hold and ask me to wait. At the same time a message appear on my mobile saying that my cab is cancelled the phone is still on HOLD.
                                  I manager other cab and come out a Km far from my house, There is a OLA cab RJ 19 2439 is standing and searching for customers.

                                  I feel that OLA is good but for a place like Jodhpur it is not sucessful.

                                    Hello Folks, I would like to share my complaint registered with OLA in which one of their cabs was involved in an accident and their shocking and irresponsible reply. Please share this further if you feel it fit to be shared further with your friends and general public. I am writing to express my disappointment & displeasure of highest degree at your services and customer support. I had registered a complaint on the 17th June'15 stating that your OLA cab bumped into my stationary car with a great impact from rear. The impact was so strong that my vehicle in turn bumped into the vehicle right in front of me. There has been considerable damage to my vehicle and the vehicle in front of me for which I hold yourselves responsible. On the very first day I was told that the driver would reach out to me to settle and resolve the issue which hasn't happened as yet. In fact he is not acknowledging our calls anymore. Every time I call yourselves I am subjected to the standard script of 'Sorry for the inconvenience' which adds to the frustration. What further adds to my frustration is that on each occasion I am asked to contact the driver directly which I fail to understand. Please understand that it is not my responsibility to contact the driver but it is yours to take action against your reckless drivers and address my concerns. On one occasion the agent I spoke to conferenced the driver who then on call promised that he would visit us but then again it has been over 5 days now. Yesterday when I called yourself again and the agent tried conferencing the driver a couple of times but the driver did not answer the call wish doesn't paint a very good picture of your internal co-ordination. While speaking to one of your 'Floor Coach' I was very categorically told to much of my surprise 'OLA is not responsible for it's drivers' and was asked to contact the driver again to resolve this issue. I was abruptly told by the same floor coach yesterday to file a police complaint against the driver and pursue this matter further. Please be acknowledged that I did not need your permission to file a police complaint, the only reason we did not proceed in that direction is because We were assured by your representatives that this would be resolved & settled. It's been almost 20 days since this complaint was filed and despite numerous calls to yourselves and the driver your lack of intent & the commitment to resolve the issue is quite evident. What further worries me is that OLA hasn't barred the driver responsible for this mishap and he continues to ferry the rides which in my opinion is a threat to public safety. Furthermore to your knowledge the third party ( whom my car bumped into) has been harassing me for compensation and has been calling me numerous times per day adding to the frustration. The rear impact has caused injuries to the spine of the passengers. After a fortnight of hassle and harassment I know the following for a fact: 1. OLA is not responsible for it's drivers so if in future there is crime/accidents committed by one of your drivers you come out clean. 2. You have the worst customer care or support who lack empathy & intent to resolve issues. 3. OLA lacks accountability. 4. OLA lacks credibility. 4. I am no longer a prospective customer and along with me 2 dozen of my relatives who were witness to this accident.

Since you have brought this to our notice that one ofour drivers was involved in this unfortunate accident we will for sure provide all necessary assistants in case you want to proceedlegally against the driver.< MY COUNTER RESPONSE>I am least bit surprised by your response however my disappointment is exponential in nature. Your response in a way is summary of my observations in my complaint so there is absolutely novalue addition to it.You provide services and there has to be a liability & accountability for the services you offer, that is generic business model.You have 100's of cabs running around the cities with your brand painted on them so what makes you say you are not responsible for the services you offer.Are you saying your brand is no better than a lame Chinese product with zero guarantee?Is your response going to the same as given above if one of the drivers is involved in a molestation case against a female passenger?This has happened with another service provider but they were decent enough to immediately acknowledge the incident, reach out to the victim andtake necessary action against the driver. In our case neighter happened immediately and the driver continues to ferry the rides till date.I sincerely believe that you should add a caution on your cabs saying 'ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK'.People should be aware of the risks involved since you have made a very bold statement 'OLA is not responsible for its drivers & to what happens to the on board passengers who are at the mercy of thereckless drivers'

                                      car RJ 20 TA 2303 ola cab In kota city...Rajasthan..at station road around 1 o'clock, appeared recklessly from break through divider on road...so fast that me and another car just missed an accident..! The other car had to apply brakes so hard to avoid accident that the car slipped. After nearly missing accident the ola cab driver still was driving recklessly..! The car next to us also took his cab details as I did...they would also report about this càse..!(I guess) I am reporting this because it was very close call...!we were really frightened for a moment...! PLZ warn the driver or take necessary steps...! I was just able to memorize the cab number ...as cab drove off so fast that I couldn't take a picture of it...!

                                        This is to inform that yesterday i.e. on 23rd July I have availed OLA cab at around 9:45 AM from Shyambazar to CIT road, invoice no CRN[protected]. The distance is 8.95 KM and I have been charged Rs- 429/- . This amount is exorbitantly high and therefore I called the customer care. As per your call center executive, this is the pick time and there are fewer amounts of vehicles in Kolkata. Therefore I have been charged Rs- 429/-. She added that sometime the ‘pick price charge’ is put on the actual amount and the amount become high, and it is my fault that I have agreed the terms and condition of OLA cabs at the time booking. Below details is for the reference First 4 km: ₹99.0 Rate for 4.95 km: ₹59.4 Free ride time (10 min) ₹0.0 Ride time charge for 26.23 min: ₹26.23 Peak Pricing charge (2.2x) ₹221.56 Total tax ₹22.75 . Now my questions are • If OLA Cabs is having less no. of vehicles, Who is responsible for that? • If OLA Cabs become unable to fulfill the demand of people, why should I pay this high amount. At the time of booking I thought if OLA is charging ‘Pick price charge’, then maximum it can be Rs- 250/- because the normal taxi takes maximum Rs-100/- from Shyambazar to CIT Road. . As per the calculation I have been charged Rs-48/- per Km, which is not at all convenient for a middle class people.                                         Hello, we had similar experience and UBER and other local services are good. This new OLA should be banned.

                                        Immediately lodge a complaint with government department in your area.

                                        Sending email to customer care is waste. I have even spoke with their supervisors.

                                        They will listen only ONCE they are banned.

                                        Here you need to realize the local government departments responsible for providing license to their services.

                                        JUST taking TAXES is not government duty. If they cannot stop this kind of fraud then there is no need of those departments. We are already paying too too much taxes and because of our taxes ONLY they are living. Either police. Government or any department.
