I had booked an Ola Rental Cab from Kolkata Airport to my home (The Study Park School, Kolkata) on[protected]CRN [protected]). While booking the ride, normal fare was shown (i.e., Rs. 479 for 20kms & 2hours). There was no notification of any surge pricing before booking, while booking and after start of ride/during the ride.
However, when the ride ended and bill was generated, Surge pricing additional fare of Rs. 535 was added to the total fare without any notification in advance and the total amount was shown as Rs. 1297.
This is illegal and extremely unprofessional as without notification, such high surge price was added in the final bill. Even after several complaints to the customer care executives, they are not ready to refund the fraudulently charged surge pricing (without notification).
It is also possible that Ola has programmed their App in such a way to cheat all passengers going to or coming from Airport as people are generally in a hurry and won't complain later on.
They should be penalized heavily for this fraudulent act.

      I took a ride on 6th March CRN [protected]. The driver asked me to pay cash of 320 rs which I did. However, later I got a postpaid bill on app asking to pay 320.

      I called the driver later, and he is not responding properly.

        Ola riders in Guwahati, Assam, India are charging excess fare than the amount notified. We enter into a specific contract with Ola App wherein you disclosed the price and we agreed to it. Then how rider is entitled to ask any extra money beyond the amount which is reflected on the screen.

        Also there is notion amongst some drivers that “the driver wants to charge more because it is giving an “extra” service, i.e. dropping at a destination where no other driver would be ready to go at an inconvenient time. So, of course, he would ask for more. Or there are always some people who are ready to pay more than the market price.” But this notion is not acceptable that customers are ready to pay more all the time. There my be customers who can pay but on the other hand there my be customers who can’t effort extra.

        We are not the one’s setting the fare. Ola App itself notifies the fare. But every-time we book a ride before asking about my location/destination the rider/ driver ask the amount that is reflection and he will start bargaining. If I have to bargain and book a ride then what is the use of the Ola App. If we deny to pay extra the rider/driver cancels the booking or force us to cancel the trip which cost us the cancellation fee and this process goes on and on.

        What really awful is knowing that the driver has canceled the booking for silly reasons especially when you are getting late to reach somewhere or in an emergency or tired and need to get home quick.

        I was a frequent user of Ola App but now it has been very hard to find a professional rider in Ola. I have instances where after completing my ride the rider demand me extra amount. I have complained in the app but no actions have been taken.

        The services provide from your side was to assured facilities at the desired location point through the mobile applications. And to provide the much needed comfort with reasonable prices. But in my recent encounters I am having a totally different approach towards the service being provided.

        We use Ola considering our distance requirement and time factor, it turned out to be the best option. If the riders are having issues with the fare, are the customers should be held accountable for it? It should have been your responsibility.

        The customer support is very poor. This made me disappointed. I always valued and trusted your service. But not this time.
        I look forward to your immediate reply and a resolution to my problem. This is for your kind information and necessary action.

          Sir my name is MO HARISH, i am a driver of ola cab, sir 2 months before i had offroad from ola. Actually my driver fault is, i don't know how to reverify the ddd. Because of this, i am off road. I went to office many times and requested but nobody listening. Sir i want to drive with ola please give me one opportunity. I will be a good driver. no driver my car drive Thanks.

            My ride CRN[protected] the car was not properly maintained and Ac was not working properly before the ride and driver was aware of this, despite of car issues how could he accept the booking, Ac was not working in full ride, it charged me 381, so i need refund and I am having video recording of car problems talking with driver.

                    I paid the previously shown fee via debit card and then you guys overcharged me after the service rs.150 and then I had to pay via cash. I had 200 rupees and the driver hasn't paid me 50 rs back.

                      I booked a ride of almost 200 kms from Delhi to Muzaffarnagar UP on 17th Feb 2022 with my family. The driver dropped my ride in midway after almost 50 km and took all the fare of Rs 3254 and ran away leaving me and my family at some remote location at evening when it was getting dark. I complained about this incident to ola customer care during the ride also and asked them to provide me another ride as i am not feeling safe with this driver but they just told me to pay him the money and book another ride and the money would be refunded i called them again but they did nothing and superviser is not responding.

                      I want my money back and strict action against the driver.

                      Any help would be appreciated.

                      The status of the complaint is as it was before filing it.
                      I received their call but they have not returnied my money of Rs 3254 which was taken by driver and Ola by fraud. Even after it said by their own customer care member that they will return my money. I also have all the proof with me.

                        I have been using Ola cabs occassionally and pay the fare either by cash or google pay right after the trip ends. However, it has happened with me twice in recent past where I have been charged INR 41 and INR 224 on separate occassions.

                        I never signed up for Ola money post paid and always paid the fare upfront, however I was forced to pay these charges since ola denied me to avail the services.

                        Despite writing to them multiple times through email and twitter, they simply choose to ignore the complaints. Hence, I am handling over the case to my lawyers for this coercion and financial scam they are running.

                        I have also come to know that ola money postpaid apparently provide the credit services via 3rd party banking or NBFCs and the late payment there could affect your credit rating as well.

                        I will check my CIBIL report and if there is any impact because of this scam, i will file a case for coercion and monetary scam as well.

                          On March 6th 2022, I ordered 3 ltr sunpure refined oil (1 ltr pack each), 3 ltr sunpure heart refined oil (1 ltr pack each), 3 ltr can sundrop heart oil and 1 ltr mustard oil.
                          Order Code: onh0-sospho
                          Below are my concerns for this particular order:
                          1. Not received 1 ltr sunpure refined oil
                          2. Not received 1 ltr sunpure heart
                          3. 1 packet of delivered sunpure refined oil is leaking
                          4. Received 1 ltr packet of sundrop heart oil instead of 3 ltr packet
                          5. The delivered 1 ltr packet of sundrop heart is NOT TO BE SOLD LOOSE

                          I had contacted customer care chat within an hour. An executive named Sai Kumar DN said he has raised a complaint and I shall be provided with a resolution within 2 hours of that. The same was confirmed by another executive named Sanjay Allwyn. On 7th march 2022, I checked with the chat support team where an executive named Shahida Anjum first asked me the ticket ID (which was supposedly never generated) and later she said that the resolution has already been provided and asked me to check. On asking where to check, I received no response from her and then I ended the chat not waiting for too long.

                          There was literally no ticket reference number, no call or text from Ola customer support, no email, no notification. There was just no information from Ola. They just conveniently deducted my money (1443) and just ignored my complaint. They have also sent an invoice attached to the bag marking all the items have been packed & delivered
                          Let me just confirm to Ola that I will definitely not pay the outstanding Ola Money whenever the bill is generated. So just resolve this and keep it amicable or else you pay for your scam. Don't play around with public money and fool them

                          I received a refund of Rs. 704.50
                          The refund expected is 854.25
                          Justification:
                          Received Items: 2 sunpure heart, 1 sunpure refined (The other one received was a damaged one) & 1 mustard oil
                          = (2*135) + 135 + 183.75 = 588.75 (Amount I should be charged)
                          Refund = 1443 - 588.75 = 854.25 (Amount I should be refunded)

                          I do not know why has kept extra 149.75 of mine. If you expect someone to pay for a damaged oil packet, noone would be doing that. And in case you want to say that you charged me for the loose packet of Sundrop that isn't for sale, I am definitely not going to pay for it. That packet is still with me. Send someone to take it away and then refund the amount. Customers do not pay for loose packets that are not for sale. It is very clearly written on the oil packet - NOT TO BE SOLD LOOSE

                            Having issues with Ola payments. When we select a ride with online payment and if we pay by cash with some issues with online payment, the system is not updating the payment even though driver updating the payment and closing the ride.. I have two accounts with two mobile numbers and same issue repeated.. why should user pay extra amount for the technical issues from OLA side .. they can raise with Technical team and close the issues but they don't do that.. escalating to the higher level also no use... Waste company..waste services..

                              Yesterday[protected] i have take a ola ride between Badarpur to new friends colony new Delhi 110065. driver request me to pay fare directly to his phone pay no [protected] and not to pay via ola app. so i paid total fare directly to driver phone pe no. But still ola app showing payment is pending.

                                I selected the payment mode Google pay while booking but while paying my google pay was not working so I paid in cash. I called the driver he is saying mere side se clear nai hua toh me q clear Karu meko ola se paisa hi nai aaya.. I told him if i paid in cash then why you need to wait for ola cash, clear my due because I cannot book my further ride I told the guy. Then I told him I will complain he said ok do.

                                  When Ola electric scooter booking started we also booked Ola S1 Pro priced at 1.4lakh with rs499 in the hope to get a electric scooter. Delivery was promised between October 2021 . they've been postponing the dispatches due to some issues at their side and we've even accepted for that. We were waiting for more than 6 months when they've opened final payment window on 21-Jan-2022 I've done the payment and their estimated dispatch within 31-Jan-2022. and as per their data it's dispatched on 28th Jan and still it wasn't delivered yet. I've been following up from past 40 days and they're not responding properly and the support team wasn't aware of anything they're just hooking up some stories only.

                                  This is bizzare, ridiculous and totally wrong of a company that has been misleading India consumers and promoting their brand falsely. Requesting your support as those who paid their full amount for an product which will get delivered in a week or so as promised by company itself and now they're just time-passing .

                                  recently they've sent an email stating that my bike was delivered too but when i contact support team they're telling it's just a glitch only we will get your bike delivered sooner.

                                  Please help!

                                    I have been charged twice higher rental fare by ola of around Rs. 1000.

                                    One ride I took on 4th Feb wherein I book an ola for 1 hr at 249 rs 10 km it showed.

                                    I took some extra km and time so I was expected a total fare of around 400 but for a base ride of 249 I was charged fare increase charge by ola of Rs. 600-700 rs and my total fare came as 1106. I complained in ola but nothing happened till date. Money was automatically deducted.

                                    Same thing happened on 15th Feb wheein for 500 ride I was charged 944 rs by ola in a similar mechanism in ola rental ride.

                                    Normally whenever there is peak time it shows the fare and then it's my choice to book or not but here I was charged more than 2000 rs for not even 1000 rs rental ride????

                                      I took an Olacabs ride yesterday on 4/3/2022 from Ahmedabad airport to Karmchari Nagar. Driver asked me to pay the airport parking fee, which i paid in cash plus when I paid him final ride amount, it was also charged into total amount. Thus, i was charged the airport parking fee twice.
