The Complaint is with Respect to Excess fare charged in terms of waiting time.
I had booked the ola cab on 14th feb 2015 from katriguppe to yelahanka new town on phone.
Booking Date and time 14 Feb, 2015, 10:56 am
Pickup Date and time 14 Feb, 2015, 11:12 am
We Reached yelahanka at 1.21PM during the Journey we never made the driver to wait for our Personal Reasons There was Traffic singals and Traffic Jams as usual in Bangalore.
My Complaint is why i have to Bear the cost in terms of waiting time which is not due to my fault.I was neither informed when i booked the cab by their call center executive nor the driver about the waiting time charges.

This is clearly cheating on part of ola cabs charging excess fare in terms of waiting in traffic.how the waiting time is being calculated in their software and have their software been validated by any government agency?

    Hi, This is to bring your notice that ola cab driver who has cheated me and charged me Rs.900. I would like you to take action. Scenario: I had booked cab bearing reference number CRN 61072983 from airport to KSRTC bus stop through online booking for 17/02/2014 at 5.00AM. I came out looking for an ola cab, and found at 5.15 car bearing the registration number KA51 C 141. I just showed him the reference number, sat in the car and he started driving. After a while I got doubtfull and asked him whether he logged in, he said yes. I didn't bother much. I paid toll fee Rs.114 After the journey is over, he charged me Rs.900 I asked him how many km he mentioned 47 km and will get confirmation. I got very doubtful. My doubt turned into true, as when I saw the invoice of Rs.657 but I've been charged Rs.900 and also invoice says the driver has been waiting for 38Min but as soon as I came out of the airport, I jumped into the ola cab. I feel driver was mis-using the company as well as he has mislead me. you need to take action and provide me the justice. Proof: 1. To prove that I was with him. After he dropped me, he picked up hindi speaking customer from Sheshadri puram. He logged in as soon as dropped me. Then I got really doubt. The driver name may be Mr.Karthik.S and he was listening to Tamil songs so I believe he is tamilian. The KM on his dashboard was 5600KM at the start of the journey and when he finished it was 5634. He initially got a call to pick up customer from Boppsandra but he mentioned that he is dropping customer to Majestic and takes time and asked customer to cancel the booking, this was around 5.30AM. I've attached photo of the car registeration with the mail. To Prove: I didn't record my conversation with him When I paid. But If you give me his contact number I can talk to him record the conversation to prove that I paid him Rs.900. Firstly, I can pretence that I've lost some document and might have left in his car to just to prove that he has picked me from the airport Secondly, I can asked him why he charged me so much when actual KM is only 36KM from airport. I can record this conversation and send it to you Or you can pretend as if you were me and you can do the same investigation. This is totally wrong, he has mislead me to believe he is from ola and with that trust I just sat in the car without asking further questions. I do not have any personal grudge toward ola or the driver. I'm just feeling bad that as soon as I landed I've been cheated. I couldn't complaint as I don't have much net access in my region.       I had booked the Ola cab to travel to the Bangalore bus stand from my place in Whitefield, CRN number 34152462. The cab was scheduled for 4.30 PM but I did not receive any SMS with the driver details till 4.15 PM. Just 10 min to our scheduled time, we got the driver details. I called him up and he was extremely rude but somehow managed to reach my society. I asked him to come near to my building to which he stopped responding to my calls and told me that I am cancelling your trip, I am taking another booking. We were left in a soup at somehow managed another alternative.
      This is extremely callous behaviour depicted by Ola to hire such immature and rude drivers who have no sense of customer service and can leave you as per their whims and fancies.

        I had booked a cab with ola cabs bangalore vide their CRN60673299 for a trip from Vijayanagar to International Airport on[protected] for time 12.30 pm. No driver reported till the said time. On calling OLA I was told abruptly that there was a technical issue and and the drivers could not be contacted and the matter would be resolved in 10 mts.Time elapsed and no call came.I again called and was told issues were being faced and more time was reqd. On asking to speak to the supervisor one Mr. Farook came on the line with a standard apology and wanting another 10-15 mts. Again time passed and this time Mr.Farook called me and informed that drivers had been located and my ride could be enabled in an hour's time. How ridiculous and callous you can get was demonstrated by Ola. Imagine going to the airport was like a casual jaunt to them.I had to Report for my Flight before 2.15pm and the time was already 1pm. Somehow I succeeded to catch a taxi by paying 1000Rs + and just about managed to check in before the flight was closed. Ola cannot even realise the anxiety and stress that I had to undergo travelling such a long distance in Blr. traffic.
        Icing on the cake was, to date, Nobody has even bothered to check on status or tender an apology. I guess Ola doesn't give a damn and shameless as we are we let them get away with such PATHETIC behaviour/service.

          Dear Ola Team, I am very saddened by your cab service and the extra charge. As per the bill, it is very much clear that you have charged 35 minutes waiting time. The journey was started at almost 2000 hrs and ended at 2043 hrs. So, as per that it took 43 minutes for journey of 27 kilometres. How, this waiting time has been calculated??? When i enquired from customer care on 17/02/2015 at 1839 hrs, i got the response from Mr. Jay that the waiting time includes the time consumed on traffic lights. Then, please confirm, it is possible to complete 27 kilometres of journey in 8 minutes??? Or does Ola start the waiting time whenever the Driver applies brake??? No words for the extra waiting time charged :(

          Same happened to us as well...

          We travelled 30 km in 90 minutes and waiting time driver was showing 70 minutes
          how is it possible to commute from kharadi to wakad area in 20 minutes? Also Ola customer care person told that they calculate signal waiting time as well, I really don't understand the logic behind taking waiting time for signals? it is obvious that wherever you go, signals will be there, why are you charding customer for traffic signals, you charging cab rental per km as per standard rates, why this waiting charge for signals?

          NO OTHER CAB SERVICE charges traffic signal time as a waiting time (2 rs per minute - charged by ola - pune service), its cheating

            On 15 February 2015, i booked a cab at 8:39 pm (CRN[protected], driver canceled my booked trip without informing me. I had a talk with him he told me he would come in 10-15 min but after half an hour he didn't come and cancelled my trip. i was waiting for more than half hour and when I called him back he was not picking my call. Then I booked another cab at 9:05 pm (CRN[protected] with the help of OLA care. This cab driver is also not picking up my call, I called him 4-5 times. Please take some strict actions against this type of drivers who are not punctual their duty towards their job.

              Hi, I am a new customer for ola cabs, many of my friend s recommended so I used ola cabs for first time. But today I had worst experience. I had booked a cab for my wife from hebbal to nagarbhavi. As u can see the invoice below I don't had any amount to be paid but the driver charged 250 rs and my wife had to pay it. Is this the way you guys would cheat a new and an educated customer. I am seriously not happy with the service. When I went through my invoice it says 0 balance. I need my money to be refunded back or let me know steps I have to take from my side. I want someone to look in to my issue and revert back asap. Regards, Ramalingaih

                I have booked car on 7th February morning at 3.15am for going to railway station. At 2.30 am I am getting message regarding cancelation of my ride and again after minute it messaged that your ride has been upgraded and driver naresh [protected] will pick up at 3.15am. As it was already 3.15 we called driver regarding why is still not came for pick up. he continuosly cut 3phone back to back. we called then from another number he imediately picked up the phone and we asked why didnt he come here then he sayed my car is not working well and i will not come and banged phone badly. then we again call him saying we have booked you now where will we go last minute at night for catching taxi then he said do one thing i will come to catch you but it wiill cost 300rs. how cheap. just was taking advantage of weakness. we call ola number but it was not responsive can you tell me how will we arrange soon another taxi for dropping at railway station that is 30min away from place. very bad service of ola not at all responsible for requirement of customer.

                Ola doesn't maintain a record of their auto drivers.! They dont even know their driver's contact details.! The customer care service is really poor..!
                Dear Sir/Madam,

                I am a loyal customer of OLA Cabs, however off lately their service quality has declined.

                Soon after the booking, the driver calls up to seek directions and ask the drop location. Once he hears the drop location, he decides whether to proceed with picking the customer. In case he is not interested, he just fools the customer by saying he is on the way but actually does not turn up.

                This has happened quite a few times with me and has caused major inconvenience.

                I would request the relevant teams to please look into the matter.

                Guys please dont take ola cab because its service is very poor and the driver using abusing language
                and the cab is not coming at time this ola cab service is disgusting and i'll book ola cab for airport the service man told that its coming in 20 min and the driver told for 1 hour and the driver told me that if you have so hurry then take another cab that driver is brijesh and his mobile no.[protected] car no.RJ34TA1094 so my suggestion for all of you that please dont book OLA cab not enough that

                i will book another ola cab the driver is mr raj and mob no.[protected] and the car no.RJ14TA2627 he also told me the same line that if you have hurry then book another cab i'll book for 14:20 and the cab reach to me at 14:45 and the all OLA cab condition is very poor
                SO PLEASE DONT BOOK OLA CAB...

                  Hi, Last friday (13th Feb 2015), i booked a olacab from Faridabad to chandni chowk delhi, with CRN 60586114. I got the invoice later for the trip, and i found that mcd toll charges of amount Rs. 88 are there in the invoice, which i have already paid to driver at toll plaza. So that's why i had given the toll charges twice. And Also waiting charges are there of Rs. 22, but there is no waiting, cab reached early at my place, and we moved atleast 10mins early from my place still there is waiting has been charged.                     I had my very first experience with OLA as the worst. I have Booked the Cab to Airport on 14th Feb with CRN60682782.I got the Message that "i will be picked at 12:04 PM" after that there is no response from the OLA. Also I haven't received the Driver details or anything. I called the customer care and i got the response as "You will receive it shortly" I patiently waited. Even after several call to the customer care there is no proper response. At-last one customer-care guy told to make some alternate arrangement at last moment.At the last moment i couldn't arrange anything and after the hectic struggle i managed to reach airport by 3:25PM by the time Boarding closed and Finally i lost my flight!! Due to your poor customer care and service i lost my flight!

                      i yesterday booked an ola cab from jaipur to attend a important meeting and got a confirmation mail and sms too. but the driver didnt show up instead he took another customer as he was paying him more. i got an invoice of bill and that too without travelling in it. i got to missed an imporatant meeting which incurred me a huge loss. i am really very dissapointed with your services and will not recommend any of my friends to use ola cab.

                          Booked mini cab vide SRN 61221541 DRIVER SUBHASHDL 1YE SWIFT DZIRE FROM GANGARAM HOSPITAL TO VASUNDHRA GHAZIABAD.AT FIRST MESSAGE RECEIVED FOR TOTAL BILL OF RS.532.00 FOR 25.6 KM RUNNING. ON ENQUIRY IT WAS TOLD THAT RS.50 IS SURCHARGE FOR BOOKING CAB BETWEEN 4PM TO 8 PM AND PLUS RS.125 FOR TOLL TAX. ON RAISING OBJECTION AMOUNT WAS REDUCED TO RS.470.00. IS IT WAY TO CATERING CUSTOMER. NO DETAILS OF FARE STRUCTURE MENTIONED IN MESSAGE WHICH WE HAVE RECEIVED EARLIER. PLEASE CONFIRM WHETHER RS.50 SURCHARGE IS APPLIOCABLE OR NOT.                             I had availed your service on 5th of February from Srinivas nagar, Bangalore to AMR tech park, Bommanahalli, Bangalore.The estimated amount was 154rs.But the driver took a long route even after asking to take the route which I suggested and the bill came up to 271rs.He has put waiting charge of 60.2rs.Whereas there was no waiting at all. I prefer OLA for your best service.But due to worst drivers like MAHALINGAIAH([protected])the reputation of yours might be caused.I would like to give you full details of the journey and requesting you to take necessary action on the driver.He has added waiting charges on top of the normal bill which I strongly disagree and would like to seek justice.CRN36546888 car no-KA01 AC1891

                              This morning[protected] I have Rs.100 in my Ola wallet.I took a ride which costs Rs.160. The Rs.100 in my wallet got deducted as well as the bill generated is RS.160 to pay, which I paid without arguing with the driver. I want my 100 rs back into my account

                                I booked cab for Sarah rohilla stn from[protected] on 14feb.driver satendraft took me through longer route, 17km journey covered in 26km.missedo my trrarain despite starting two hrs in advance.charGed 627rs for 26 km. Charges toll when no toll enroute.took intentionally through busy route and charged waiting charges.300rs balance in ola money also not adjusted.tried calling customer service spoke to sanctity sur supervisor, no satisfactory responce.worest cab service of India advice everyone to avoid using.

                                      My Wife booked a OLA cab 2 days back for travel to airport today. The flight (Jet Airways) was for 7:50 AM and she booked a cab from our house in Koramangala 4th Block for 5:30 AM. At 5:00 AM, we got a call from the driver asking about the address and informed he will be arriving shortly for the pick up. At 5:15 AM, the driver called and informed that he is not coming and did not provide any reason and asked me to get in touch with the call centre. When I called the call centre, they "Apologies for the Inconvenience" and arranged for another cab. At 5:20 AM we got a call from another driver asking us about the address. He informed he is coming from Jayanagar and when we told him about our address in Koramangala, he informed that he will not come. At this point we were really getting agitated and impatient as the time was now 5:35 AM. I again called the call centre and spend more than 10 minutes requesting/begging him to provide us a cab as were getting late. At this time, we got a call from another Ola cab driver and he asked us about our address and said he will be at our residence in 5 minutes. We went down with the luggage and the cab came. As my wife was about to board the cab, the driver informed us that her booking has been cancelled (I really would like to know how my booking was cancelled by OLA on their own when I did not cancel it) and he has been sent a new booking message so he can't take her to the airport. Flabbergasted at this, I again call the call centre and waste another 10 minutes where I am again requesting him to please talk to the driver of the can at our residence so that he can take my wife to the airport. The call centre representative spoke to the driver and asked him to cancel the new booking on the app and to take my wife to the airport but the driver refused saying that if he will cancel the booking, his incentive would be witheld (are you kidding me...this is your service...OMG). We are stranded on the road with luggage and time was almost 6:15 AM. We started frantically waving for any taxi to stop and finally we got a taxi at 6:30 AM who said he will charge Rs. 1, 000 (realising that we are in dire needs he extracted extra money from us). We agreed and left for the airport (we were out of all options thanks to OLA). We reached airport at 7:10 AM (with some reckless driving from the driver) and my wife made a run for the boarding counter and after a lot of haggling and begging was allowed to board the flight. Phewwww. The entire episode was so heart pumping full of anxiety and frustration and very painful. If she had missed her flight, we would have had to buy a spot ticket costing almost close to Rs. 15, 000 to Rs. 20, 000 as she was going for her sister's marriage. This is a horrible experience to go through and hence I would like a raise an official complaint against OLA. Worst customer service and on top of that their call centre is filled with who just speak scripted language and do not care at all about customers.
