I booked a cab with OLA cabs for 10:30 AM on 5th Feb, 2013. The booking call was made at 9:09 AM in the morning. I got three confirmation messages of the booking via SMS at 9:12 AM, 9:19 AM and 9:49AM respectively containing the following confirmation no. CRN 1691134.
I was waiting for the cab at the expected time. But no information was sent to me regarding the driver till 10:00 AM, as promised. I made a call at the helpline no. to inform them about the same. They told me that the cab would be late by 15 mins some thing they should have informed me themselves and well in time . Instead, I got to know about the delay when I gave them a call but the driver information was withheld again. At 10:35 AM I had to call the helpline again to check on the status of the cab at which time I was informed that the cab would be late by another 30 minutes. Following the call, I received the driver details on my phone via SMS at 10:38 AM. On calling the driver directly, I was told that he was at some far off location and it was not possible for him to make it for my pickup for almost an hour.
Not only was I forced to be late for my office due to the unprofessional and laid back behavior of the mentioned Taxi services, I had to make alternative arrangements in haste which was an uncalled for hassle in itself.
