I booked this ride for my parents and other family members who are all senior citizens from Delhi to Meerut. The estimated fare was approx. Rs. 1580.00 after applying Rs. 250 coupon available in app. The estimated kms were 75kms for 4 hours for this journey. shown on the map.

The total fare at the completion of ride was Rs.1911.00 & the reason for this higher charge was extra kms the cab ran. The total kms shown in the billings were 94Kms.
I raised the question with the customer service and was told that per their driver, the driver was asked by passengers to take a longer route.
Per Google maps, this entire journey from the starting to end point is of 70Kms. The driver took Delhi Meerut Expressway which is shortest and fastest to reach to the destination and followed his Ola map to reach to Meerut. On the other hand, the driver left the passengers in Meerut far from the destination as he got another ride booked, did not turn on the AC(told to passengers that the AC wasn't working) and I had to go to pick the passengers on my own.
Customer care not able to share the route details and blaming us for the incorrect billing. They spoke to their driver and passed the judgement that the can ran for extra Kms but where, no one has answer to it. The investigating officer to whom the ticket was assigned did not call me but only spoke to the driver and closed the ticket.
I called them again yesterday but the customer service rep was unable to help and when I asked to speak to someone else above him, he said he has scheduled a call back which I haven't received yet.
This is utter disappointment from Ola.
Without our knowledge, they created post paid account. Without our consent they withdrew money from that account. We didn't select postpaid as payment however they took money from that account. This is cheating. Ola is a fradulent company. Please submit issue in cyber crime.
I raised similar issue with ola customer care. Told them specifically that I paid driver with cash. But the customer care person put me on hold stating that he is verifying with driver and then told me simply that driver denied taking payment. I disputed it. They opened a ticket but later I received email from them asking me to provide proof of credit/ debit/ upi payment made to driver. They said the issue is resolved. That's when I logged a complaint in cyber crime portal.

And then i informed them about my complaint in cyber crime. Now they have asked me to provide CRN number. I have shared it and waiting for an update. You can also do the same.
