I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against OLA regarding the recent incident I experienced while using your ride-hailing service. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and the unprofessional conduct displayed by the drivers and customer support representatives. The incident has left me deeply dissatisfied and I demand a prompt resolution to this matter. On 29th May 2023, I booked an OLA cab (Customer Ride Numbers - CRN[protected]) to travel from Delhi Airport to DLF phase-3, Gurgaon. To my astonishment, the ola postpaid charged me an exorbitant fare amount that was significantly higher than the estimated fare displayed on the app. The estimated fare was 332 and the final fare deducted from my Ola postpaid was 714. This unjustifiable increase in fare goes against the transparency and trust that customers expect from OLA. Furthermore, the ordeal did not end there. I have been repeatedly receiving calls from OLA representatives who have resorted to aggressive and threatening behavior. The harassment I have faced through these calls is utterly unacceptable and has caused significant distress and mental anguish. It is distressing to think that a company I trusted would condone such unprofessional and offensive conduct. I have been a loyal customer of OLA for 5years, and I have always appreciated the convenience and efficiency your service has provided. However, this recent experience has shattered my confidence in the company and its commitment to customer satisfaction. I request the following actions to be taken promptly: Refund: I demand an immediate refund of the excess fare amount charged during my trip. The fare should be adjusted to the originally estimated amount as displayed on the app. Investigation: I insist that OLA conducts a thorough investigation into the incident and takes appropriate disciplinary action against the Ola service. Such practices must be eliminated from your platform to protect the rights and interests of your customers. Apology and Assurance: I expect a formal written apology from OLA for the distress caused by the harassment I faced through multiple phone calls. Additionally, I request an assurance that such behavior will not be tolerated in the future, and steps will be taken to train and monitor your customer support representatives more effectively. Compensation: Considering the inconvenience, mental harassment, and time wasted in dealing with this matter, I believe I am entitled to appropriate compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. I have attached copies of relevant documents, such as the ride receipt, to support my complaint. Please acknowledge the receipt of this letter and provide me with a complaint reference number for future correspondence. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. I hope that necessary steps should be taken to rectify the situation.

    Please refer attachment and refer my ola complaint number[protected]&[protected], i have charged 860 rupees for 700 meter ride (trip was closed due to poor handling of app by driver), and that too i have booked on cash . Why the amount has been deducted from my postpaid account? Which i have not opted for it.

    I am getting continues calls and mails for payment panding. Why should I pay?

    Thisis the long pending issue, i need proper feedback. Please do the needful.

      Hi

      I paid cash directly to the driver rs.287.
      But still it is showing as due in my account. I can't be able to book any other ride due to this issue. Check asap and try to resolve this.

        I paid the cash for the last ride 287rs for the driver. But the account is showing due. And my access to book other rides is not there.

          Took ride on OLA on 24/05/23 at 7.26 pm and 8.18 pm.
          CRN number [protected]/[protected].
          Amount of both rides was 232 and 240.
          Both amount was paid to driver through online mode.
          Still OLA app has generated OLA post paid bill.
          Now inspite of repeated complaints and mails OLA has not resolved the issue.
          OLA started giving threats that executive will reach your home, your CIBIL score is effected. Number of calls in day is just MENTAL HARASSMENT.
          When amount has already been paid why OLA is not closing that query?
          Why Am i suppose to pay twice?
          OLA is giving lot of troubles without any fault of mine.

            I booked a cab for kunnur from koimbtur on 9 February 2023.. registered complaint in ola app and they promise to refund the extra amount in 10days but today is 2 July and my money was still not transfered and now they are not replying my mails

              गुळवणी महाराज पथ मंगेशकर hospital पाशी आम्ही आमच्या दुचाकी वरून जात असताना पुढे दुसऱ्या दुचाकी मुळे आम्ही थोडे से उजव्या बाजूला आलो, मागून एक ola driver maruti Suzuki मधे जोरात आमच्या बाजूने गेला हॉर्न ना मारता, आम्ही धडकलो असतो पण पटकन गाडी आत balance केली.
              त्याच्या शी भांडण केल्या वर तो अरेरावित म्हणाला तुम्ही मागे बघायचे होते, मी काय हॉर्न मारत जाऊ का.

                From the date of purchase of scooter many times I complaints for the scooter repair because the scooter comes with damaged there is panel gaps, handle tilts, scratches in the body whenever they take service of my vehicle, they are not able to fix the fault it always does temporary solution and closed the complaint. From one year I am suffering from this scooter even I purchased ola care plan now even now they are not able to fix my issues with scooter.
                But now days they are cheating with me, so I decided to complaint that company here. Many times, I complaint to repair my scooter but they are not responding. For faster resolution I spent money in ola care plan even after that they not solving my problem on phone call, they are automatically cut the call during complaining about scooter repair.
                please help me.

                  Hello,

                  On May 7, I booked a ride on an Ola Rental for 4 hours. Due to payment issues, we had to end the ride in 13 minutes.
                  However, 1714 rupees were charged on my Ola Wallet.

                  I have raised multiple tickets through your app under support, and now there is no option to create one.

                  Since May 7, I have spoken to multiple people from your company about the same. but there is no use.

                  I only have to pay 240 rupees for the rides that I have used.

                  Today, I happened to talk to Rubitha from Ola Cabs. She says, You guys delete data that is 30 days older. She was of no help.

                    I had already paid a cash of 250/- to my driver on 21 Aug, 2021 but it's stoll showing pending. Seems driver did not update it and now it's showing I have to pay the pending amount or else I can't book any new ride.

                    I am not ready to pay any extra amount since I have already paid in cash. And I had contacted Ola support also but they did not help me.

                    Please resolve my issue asap.

                      Ola has charged Rs.700 with a late fee of Rs.200 since January 2023 for not using their services. For this reason, they have also suspended me from using their cab services till date. This is against the law and has no point to act like this way towards their customer. I filed a complaint t Ola customer services with ticket ID[protected] on June 2023 on this issue. But the services are not responsive and lack of transparency. I want Ola Company to clear my charges immediately.

                        I took an Ola cab on 24th June 2023 at the morning from Dombivli to Thane. The ride no. was CRN[protected] with cab registration No. MH01BM1325-White Etios - Prime Sedan. The trip cost was Rs. 758/- which I paid by credit card around 20 minutes before ride ended. At the ride ending time, the payment was not updated in OLA app however I have been charged to my credit card & the transaction was successful. After ride ended, the driver started arguing that he had not been paid & need cash now as the app is showing payment pending. I showed him the bank SMS confirming the transaction but he disagree. Eventually, I paid him Cash too. ( I receive an invoice for it by email. It's attached). Now I am wondering where that credit card payment went. How will I get it back? The worst part is OLA doesn't have a helpline no. nor my issue was listed in the app to report. I strongly feel the support no. should be there in place.

                        Similar incident happened with me on 21st May 2023 also.

                            I paid the driver by cash but it's still showing up on my screen as 'Pending payment'. Please resolve the issue.

                              I barely use ola . once i booked a cab which i paid in cash to the driver but later i got the text that you used ola postpaid and need to pay 580/-. i have no idea about ola postpaid. now i am getting continuous calls from ola forcing and threat to pay which js very irritating.
                              i already paid to the driver.

                                I am receiving call from Ola saying that postpaid overdue is pending from long time. Its been almost 5 years I used Ola. Last time when I used ola, I made the payment as cash and at the same time postpaid amount also got deducted. I raised the dispute on the same day but no response on that. Now I am getting calls saying its overdue. I told 100s of time to the customer service people about this incident still no change.

                                  On May 7, 2023, I took a ride that cost ₹141. However, I encountered an issue as other payment options, including UPI, were not available for me to use. Consequently, I had no choice but to pay the amount through my Ola money. Surprisingly, when the ride concluded, ₹241 was deducted from my Ola money account. This additional deduction of ₹100 has left me perplexed, as the ride itself was only supposed to cost ₹141. Despite sending multiple emails to Ola regarding this matter, I have only received automated responses.
