Dear Sir,
On 3rd Aug Ola ride from Ahmedabad to Dholka charged twice the amount shown at the time of booking. During booking Ola app shows the charge as Rs. 1212 only (Screenshot attached). But after the trip was completed, the driver manipulated the app and showed me the charge as Rs. 2313 and in addition he asked for another Rs, 190 for tolls but no toll in the route totaling Rs. 2503. I have made a request revision on the Ola app which was revised to 2263. Driver was not compromising and demanded the full amount which I was forced to pay through Google pay (attached).

    I got an IVR call from an unknown number while I was in a Video Call with my parents in WhatsApp. And the digital voice said someone is trying to change my OLA registered mobile number. To prevent this it asked for pressing 1 and one OTP which is sent to my mobile number for confirmation. Since I was on another Video Call that time, I didn't open the text message. But checked it was in the name of Ola and the message was in the same folder of Ola. After entering the OTP Rs 9900 got deducted from my postpaid balance.Below are the details. Request you to register a complaint for the same and return the amount,

      I booked a rental cab via OLA India App on 9th July 2023 in Pune (Booking ID: CRN[protected]). The booking was for 2 hours or 20 KM. Beyond which, I would have been charged INR 17 for every KM of travel and/or INR 3 for every extra minute.

      5 KM into the trip, the driver said he is not willing to come back this part of the town. He specifically said that he will end the trip exactly as 20 km gets over. Despite repeated explanation of the OLA rental guidelines, he refused to continue beyond 20 KM. He said he will end the trip at exactly 20 KM. I would have to book another cab from there. What was I supposed to do?

      Given that I was going to the airport to receive my parents who were travelling from Tripura, it was very possible that we would have been dropped at some obscure place late at night where it would have been difficult to get a cab. I therefore asked him to cancel the trip. He happily complied. I had to book another cab right after getting down and went on to receive my parents at the airport.

      I was charged in full, that is INR 651 for 5 KM travel, by OLA for the first trip. Despite my complaint to OLA customer care about the scenario and the harassment I had gone through, OLA customer care refused to revoke/reduce the fare and take any action against the OLA driver. Their surprising response was "..we have identified that you have de-boarded the cab for your personal reasons". They refused to process my complaint further.

      I am attaching invoice of the trip that the complaint is about. I had to book another cab after de-boarding to take the same trip I was supposed to take in the first place. I am attaching the bill for that as well. Also find attached my interaction with OLA customer service regarding the incident.

        Cash paid to driver but still showing outstanding

        I paid the driver in cash but it is still showing up in my app that rupees 500 is pending. Trip date is 5th July 2023. CRN [protected]. Also find the attached trip details. Already tried to reach the support team but didn't get any response. Please resolve this issue ASAP....

          I am a OLA customer with a post paid CRDIT of Rs 10000.00I have been clearing all my rides within the time limit and use the OLA ridesextensively on travel outside MUMBAI.
          On 26th June 2023, I scheduled OLA SUV fora drop to EGMORE from Green Meadows, Thiruvanmiyur CRN No [protected] at 4.45.There was no response till 4.45 am. I then scheduled a new ride and cancelledthe scheduled ride.
          The new ride CRN [protected] was booked at 4.51 am andthe driver rang up to confirm the ride and asked for cash payment. He will nottake the ride if it is on line. Since we were running out of time, I agreedand, on his arrival, I have mentioned to the driver, I am an OLA post paidcustomer with credit line. The driver flatly refused to take the ride if it wasnot cash payment. He sited several cases of dispute between yourorganisation and the partners.
          Since we were running late for the train, I had toagree for the cash payment. The travel took place with your OTP is the proof oftravel and I paid Rs 517 to the driver.
          I took up immediately in the app for the reversal ofthe payment against the cash paid. Your app is repeating that the paymentcannot be reversed. I have taken up several times and, yesterday I spoke withthe Supervisor on the subject. After discussion, I am sending an official mailconfirming the complaint and payment of cash.
          I request you to address this issue and reverse thedues in my account. This is the plight of most travels when we scheduleovernight for airport or train station. Please look into the issue and correct.
          Please look into this issue and solve the problem. once due credit is given, i can make the payment for the first ride .

                The undersigned is a regular user of Ola cab since very long and always preferred to travel by Ola cab only, but the incident happened with me on today morning ride with your Ola driver Name Ramesh Chand Prime Sedan - White Maruti Suzuki Dzire RJ14TF3434 contact No.[protected] (ride details attached) was very shocking and forced me to delete the Ola App with immediate effect. Your driver has advised me to change the payment option from Ola postpaid into cash payment before the start of ride, as the option to make payment in cash is not available in Ola App, still the driver forced me to change into cash otherwise he will not drop me. I also advised him that money will deduct from my Ola postpaid in auto mode after completion of ride, but still he assured me that once you will make payment in cash or through paytm / phonepe wallet, he will change the payment method in his Ola app and money will not deduct from my Ola postpaid. Driver has stopped his car at the CNG f station and forced me to make payment of Rs.544 to his phonepe upi id [protected]@ybl (payment details attached). After completion of my ride Rs.544 money was again deducted from my Ola postpaid wallet. The undersigned immediately raised the issue in the Ola app, but as per Ola policy direct payment to the driver is not considered as Ola responsibility and they denied me the refund of extra money of Rs.544. The undersigned also followed up with Ola driver contact No.[protected] so many times for a refund of Rs.544 but he also denied me the refund. Finally i realised that it's a nexus between ola and his driver for charging money twicely by this fardukuent trick. So I will discontinue my long association with the Ola app with immediate effect.

                    Even after paying they asked extra money and request to pay fin now then they will return...but they didn't return..when I reconnected for the refund issued they close my complaint by specifying resolved. Its a fraud company ...block them from every where

                      I have to pay 158 rupees to clear my ola postpaid bill. I'm not getting any option in ola app to pay the bill. I'm getting continuous call regarding legal action against me. They mention that it will affect my credit score too. These are automated calls so that I won't be able to inform about my issue. Ola is sharing sms with link for payment. But it is taking me to the same page in ola app. I tried contacting the ola support team via mail. I got a similar link as response. This link was also taking me to the same page. I tried the support section in ola app. It's showing error message. I contacted the ola support again with the screenshot. I got a copy of the old mail again as reply. Seems like their email support is also automated. I tried adding money in my ola wallet thinking that it will get deducted for the bill. But in vain.

                        Fraud company and driver too are fraud. My bill was 610 but due to network issue i saw 376 and driver asked extra 100 for luggage i paid with google pay 476 he didn't update about 610 and he marked that payment as tip... Can you believe this company's application is rubbish. Driver cheated and also customer care they keep sending messages and then finally called on 23 jube 2023 to pay 504 and they will refund me my extra payment. Your customer care people are not good in calculation also she said she will pay me back 370... Tull today they didn't payback or reply me. And they closed the case... When we connect again on application they disclose by saying matter is closed and there is no other option to connect they as every time is closed. Fraud company and fraud staff.

                        If we send queries from ola application support they mark it as problem resolved. Its a fraud company.. Everybody should stop using these cab service. Their calculation is also disgusting...bill is of 610..I paid 376 then how do they ask for 504 ... it is cheating and scamming ...fraud company

                          Application showed 376 and I paid 476 ...100 rupees for luggage hit rickshaw man took it as tip and didn't update in application. Then it showed 610 pending but I already paid 376 still. I gor a call on 23 June to pay 504 and they will refund can you believe their application is filled with mess...how can it be 504 when I paid 376. That lady promised they will refund me 370 but still they didn't refund and my matter they are closing... please remove this fraud abusing company.

                            I tried to install ola app and it says my id is blocked. it says i have cancelled the trip several times. Surprising. Only ola auto driver is cancelling our trip request due to short distance which they dont want to come.

                              I have written 3-4 emails on this, but received some reply from a Nerosha who didn't take any note of the points I had made, and the information given me, and the suggestions for resolution that I offered.

                              Subsequently, I received three phone calls ( as I was on national roaming, I couldn't catch the name of the guy who made the first call, the last two were from a Lakshmi and an Archana) wherein I explained at length, that the matter be referred not to any automated system or within Collections Department, but to Customer Relations as they would be better equipped to take the simple step I recommend to solve it immediately.

                              I never delay payments, and while I wished to actually settle the Rs.402 that is due, the "system" wouldn't accept, and I do not wish to pay the sum for the above ride ( which I have already paid the driver Mr.Deepak Pardeshi) one more time.

                              Despite my patient suggestions, when I gave the phone to my wife who wished to offer an input in the last call, it was exasperating to see that after listening to what I had said, Ola's caller still tries to pressurise my wife by saying we were "at fault".

                              Now sometimes if the differences are over a sum of money, Collections dept may be in the picture, but they need some Customer Relations training also. No "system" can take a mechanical approach, and refuse to take any effort/initiative in responding to another human being.

                              I will not entertain any Collections call further. It is my request that your Customer Relations personnel read the mail-trail, and speak to the callers if required. The gist of it is that I am ready to pay the Rs.402 in the next few minutes.

                              As for the Rs.600, I have offered suggestions on how to resolve it ( one of them is to ask Shri.Pardeshi, the driver to remit it via UPI to me, and I will then pay it to you if that works well for you).

                              In Customer Relations, you'll appreciate that the idea is not to penalise or worsen the customer's experience but to see how such time-consuming activity can be avoided. A driver should not accept the fare amount ( very different from an appreciative tip) when he's going to be paid by the Company for it.

                              Thank you for your attention - I hope you can take a suitable remedial step soon and close this. Let me know briefly how I can cooperate with you towards this.

                                I have mentioned in my 6 emails to [protected]@olacabs.com, [protected]@olacabs.com, and nodal.[protected]@olacabs.com that I have paid cash Rs 211 to the driver on the driver's honest request. If you could prove that the driver has not received it, I'm ready to pay again.

                                The driver informed me that he will clear the postpaid charges from the app. Reminder #6 to close the case. I have been receiving many calls unnecessarily, threatening me of sending a representative for collecting the payment for Rs. 211, affecting my CIBIL score & initiating legal action. I have recorded 2-3 calls.

                                Please stop this nonsense things & confirm the payment with your driver,

                                  Dtd 24.06.2023 - i started my journey from pick up location to V mall, thakur complex but driver drop me at Borivali he told me map showing borivali address. also they charge me INR 71
                                  dtd 06.07.2023 - i started my journey from pick point while placing booking they show INR 82 but when they drop they charge INR 106

                                  Everytime we are facing new issues, please help me to get my money back.

                                    I booked an auto in Hyderabad. First of all uber changed my location automatically and I reached an unknown location. I had to pay my driver Rs.198 and ola didn't provide any resolution. We had to travel and book another ride. When we reached the location, the internet was not working so my paytm payment of Rs.260 was showing pending. I had to pay my driver in cash. Then after an hour, the paytm payment got successful and Rs.260 was deducted again. So for a ride that was due Rs.260, I had to pay Rs.718. I tried contacting Ola but I did not receive any resolution since 4 days. I tried calling the customer care, but it said that the number is invalid.

                                      I am writing to lodge a formal complaint against OLA regarding the recent incident I experienced while using your ride-hailing service. I am extremely disappointed with the way I was treated and the unprofessional conduct displayed by the drivers and customer support representatives. The incident has left me deeply dissatisfied and I demand a prompt resolution to this matter. On 29th May 2023, I booked an OLA cab (Customer Ride Numbers - CRN[protected]) to travel from Delhi Airport to DLF phase-3, Gurgaon. To my astonishment, the ola postpaid charged me an exorbitant fare amount that was significantly higher than the estimated fare displayed on the app. The estimated fare was 332 and the final fare deducted from my Ola postpaid was 714. This unjustifiable increase in fare goes against the transparency and trust that customers expect from OLA. Furthermore, the ordeal did not end there. I have been repeatedly receiving calls from OLA representatives who have resorted to aggressive and threatening behavior. The harassment I have faced through these calls is utterly unacceptable and has caused significant distress and mental anguish. It is distressing to think that a company I trusted would condone such unprofessional and offensive conduct. I have been a loyal customer of OLA for 5years, and I have always appreciated the convenience and efficiency your service has provided. However, this recent experience has shattered my confidence in the company and its commitment to customer satisfaction. I request the following actions to be taken promptly: Refund: I demand an immediate refund of the excess fare amount charged during my trip. The fare should be adjusted to the originally estimated amount as displayed on the app. Investigation: I insist that OLA conducts a thorough investigation into the incident and takes appropriate disciplinary action against the Ola service. Such practices must be eliminated from your platform to protect the rights and interests of your customers. Apology and Assurance: I expect a formal written apology from OLA for the distress caused by the harassment I faced through multiple phone calls. Additionally, I request an assurance that such behavior will not be tolerated in the future, and steps will be taken to train and monitor your customer support representatives more effectively. Compensation: Considering the inconvenience, mental harassment, and time wasted in dealing with this matter, I believe I am entitled to appropriate compensation for the distress and inconvenience caused. I have attached copies of relevant documents, such as the ride receipt, to support my complaint. Please acknowledge the receipt of this letter and provide me with a complaint reference number for future correspondence. I look forward to a prompt and satisfactory resolution to this matter. I hope that necessary steps should be taken to rectify the situation.
