My dad posted an olx ad for sofa set. Ad id: 1543386. He was approached by contact no: [protected] by phone and whatsapp. My dad later asked me to connect with this person, and take 19, 500 inr from him. The contact promised to pay the amount first, and collect items later. Transactions from my father's phone failed because his bank account is not linked properly to phonepe/upi. This man started transaction with me by first asking me to credit 5 inr.in phonepe, dual transactions happened at 10:00 am. Debit of 5 rs from my account, and credit of 10 rs to my account. Due to the credit back of 5 inr, i made the mistake of trusting this person. Here is the series of transactions that happened: debit from my account inr 5/- (10 am), credit to my account inr 10/- (10 am), debit from account inr 2000/- (10:02 am), debit from account inr 2000/- (10:08 am), debit from account inr 50/- (10:13 am), credit to my account inr 100/- (10:13 am), debit from my account inr 4000/- (10:15 am). Total debit of inr 8000 /- debited. Got card and net banking blocked at 10:42 am. The upi with whom transactions happened is [protected]@myicici

I see advertise of bike selling on Olx for Hero splender. I call on sellers mobile no .[protected] .He send me all doucuments photo.addhar card. Army canteen card . Photos.
And he told to send 3210 rupess for dispattch the bike from army office I send this ammount on Mob no. Office no. [protected] .He also send inovice.but not bike received.please help me.please find below photos.

I saw a seller selling activa 125cc red color with bike number mh-14-fy-9433 from seller named shailesh holani s/o govind holani on olx. He shared me his contact number as +91- (6/3/9/7/1/7/6/3/4/7) and asked to contact with him on whatsapp on this number. The price was updated as 24000/- rupees and he agreed to sell it to me for 20000 rupees. As a proof he send the bike photographs, rc and army canteen id card proof. He claimed himself as shailesh. Working in the indian army. He asked me to transfer amount of 5000 as a token amount. Still his mobile number is in active. And number using for (7/2/3/2/0/1/9/8/8/5) paytm, google pay which is linked to bank that also still active. Still it is possible to catch him. But i am from tamilnadu. I don't no any one in pune. I don't no what to do. They are cheating in the name of indian army. We peoples trusting because of the indian army name.

1. By the vehicle number you can catch the person he is the culprit and cheating or peoples are misusing his bike number.

2. Still the mobile numbers are active you can trace them.

3. Track the linked bank account with the help of google pay and paytm id.

My account linked to [protected]@gmail.com was suspended for no reason. I was about to buy a phone today but can't message seller about location due to suspension. I lost a good deal. Who will compensate?
Atleast they should give notice. I have not indulged in any illegal activity.
They are misusing their monopoly position and indulging in such unfair acrivity. This suspension message is sent to all people i dealt with in the past and my reputation has been destroyed before them.
We indians should avoid foreign player like olx.

We have searched a scooty on olx, screen shot are there in below image section. He has taken 2150 as token money from us as a name of manjeet a army man. But he again ask us for 8000 and we haven't given him the money. And he again posted the ad in olx with different number and with different pic but same scooty. Can we get our money back as i am a college student. Please help me for this

Hi sir here in olx one person named as pankaj dingakar he is from mumbai is doing fraud n cheating people abt iphone icloud unlocking mattr n he wl say i wl unlock it in 10 mints n he wl charge the amount is 2000, n after whn i pay the amount 2000, he wl block my no, whtsapp also, so stop this type fraud guys, kindly im requesting u abt this fraud guys hav to arrest n save the people.. I was searching for a car amplifier and found on olx at best price, i showed interest and later he shared his number and messaged through whatsapp, he is from salem and i m from pondicherry, he spoke gently and asked me to confirm the order, i confirmed after two hours after that, he told me that the parcel was ready fr courier and make a payment via google pay, i made it i transfered rs. 2200/- after that he said its raining here i cant put it in courier and i waited for two days, i called him several times, he didnt respond and he blocked me, i m totally helpless now.. Be aware i[censored] get a good deal on olx his [protected]..

I am Abdul, I saw an advertisement regarding online job by the name AAHANA number :[protected]. Payment on weekly basis I am interested in that I msg him, he tell to pay 1500 as registration for SMS sending job . I paid and I receive the work after one week I didn't receive a reply about my salary. So please stop this kind of ad from olx .if possible make my refund from him. Thank u. This kind of ad make many fraud so pls take control action sir/ mam soon. As me many people lost their money in this kind of job by olx. So pls make olx as good surity app . Thank u

I have seen an advertisement on olx (www.olx.in) for tvs nitro 2018 model (, 24000\- bike number mh03dd6577) posted by bijender kumar et on date 20-februery -2019 (I have attached the ad screenshot). I have reached olx and taken his contact number from chat. After this i have a phone call conversation between me and bijendar who deal with me.

Then he said he work for army and posted in sardar vallabhbhai patel army international airport. Then he sent me an army transport receipt of bike transfer and charges. Next day he agreed me to do online transaction through paytm & google pay he told by clearing the bill amount from the cargo office that is the formality the amount was 24000/- in 1st half 12000/- second 6000/- n third half 6000/- n this how i paid him he told pay the whole amount 24000 then only i will able to come to handover the scooty. At the end of story/conversation he has taken around 24000 rupees through paytm from me on 20-february -2019 and never delivered the bike. I am in process related with this with police also. That fraud person is still talking on phone with me whenever i call him he told app ka paisa refund ho jaye ga bt hind do it yet that person is still online on whats app and talking.#mumbai police
Plz take the action against him who doing fraud
I request to mumbai police to catch this fraud so that all those who have trusted n sended him money by the name of indian army so that other can be safe by this guyz. #justice

I saw an advertisement on olx from indian army about a bullet bike. On further inquiry they told me that the newly bike costs just 70k and asked me to deposit 5k as advance payment, on doing so they again told me that i neede to pay 15k and 500 separately but due to lack of communication i deposited 15, 500 altogether. They then again called me and said that i neede to pay the amount separately i did as asked. As they were supposed to deliver the bike on my doorstep after that. But after few moments they again called me and asked me to pay 21, 500 and i understood that this was a fraud

I am holding a savings account in hdfc bank (Gunjan branch) and my account no is [protected]. Today i had given advertisement for the sale of my sofa in olx against that i got a phone call from the number [protected] (Rakesh sharma in true caller) that he wants to buy the same and the mode of transaction through phone pay which i agreed. He then at about 10.20. Am told me that he had send a link with qr code and the money will be transferred to my account but failed two times but both time there was a message like rs 8000 will be tranafered to my account was mentioned but instead of it rs 43988 twice had been deducted ie 87976 from my account. As the result of this, i had reported this illegal transaction done by the fraudulent to you so that justice can be brought by taking action against the fraud people so that my money is remitted back. Enclosed the details of transaction.

we seen ads on olx website for two wheelers, we saw one splender plus bike, contacted to that person by phone they said we are army employee our bike in Military godown at bangalore you want to pay some amount after we deliver bike after payment that phone numbers not working please do something for me. how i can recover my amount please help me. the fraud contact numbers are [protected], [protected] & [protected]

I post a ad for selling o[censored]ps but interest buyer has posted indecent comment against me that "i supposed it was a fraud add" i want to registered the complaint against sh. Rajeev ranjan nag in respect my honour and indecent comment by him. His mobile no [protected]. This type of comment on the social medial and platform like this is not acceptable.

I posted an ad of showcase to sell it and i got a call from customer sanjay singh saying that he wants to buy that showcase and he saw that ad in olx. He introduced himself as sanjay singh an indian army working in yehlanka office for india. Later he said he will pay me amount of showcase through phonepe and transfer me money for showcase and said to scan an image, i scanned that image and my 4990 rs. Debited from my account. He is taking indian army name sanjay singh and going all these scam. I want olx to take some serious action against him so that he does not repeat same thing with other people. My number is getting suspended without posting any irrelevant product my four number has been suspended from olx that's not right i want my account back my customers were having faith on me and they are doing this to my reputation i don't know my five accounts got blocked i need a reply from olx team and i want my all accounts back without any hastle

I have sold a vehicle via olx cash my car, vehicle no - hr26cg7560. The vehicle was sold at 1.5 lacs

An amount of 5000 was kept on hold as one challan was pending which was of inr 2000/-

Now the executive is saying olx has charged 5000/- rs to clear the challan, can you clarify the same as i never approved this amount to olx

This guy called sagar kad has a ad on olx for tata tigor. He asked for 5150 rs for the transfer and then asked for 11130 rs and then asked for 11500 rs saying that the parcel is reaching.

He has around 27000 rs.
