I had posted my old sofa and chair in olx for sale and i got call from one of the person claiming that he is interested and if the price is negotiable. I said ok give me 500 less and he said he will be making payment through online, i said ok.
He told me to send my upi id and he will make payment from googlepay and i whatsapped him the upi id of mine. After an hour got a call and he said to openthe google pay and i said ok then i got a request of amount which i had quoted to pay to him and he made sum lame excuse of making payment though card and the amount will go to wallet and then i have to transfer it to my savings. I had option of pay and decline on google pay which alerted me that its a fraudster trying to get money from me. I said first of all there is no wallet in google pay and account to account payment only happens. He tried convincing me but i disconnected the call.

After half an hour got call from another number (may be one more from group ) and he also asked same that he will make payment from online, I said no i want in cash he disconnected it

I got the call from vikas patel he is selling the iphone 7 plus on olx, on friday he asked my contact no to share the phone photos, along with phone photos her has shared all his id prof and army id cards with his some personal photo graphs.
Today he called me up and said if m interested to buy the phone he will courier the phone from army overnite courier for which i have to pay him advance 2150 rs for courier charges.
He asked my aadhar card and address where he will be courier the phone.
But something looks fishy to me, so i have not made any payment to him.
After sometime he what’s app me the indian army courier slip with jaipur army canteen address and mine address and the courier slip was looking like edited, then i googled about indian army courier service and found that some fraud is going on like this.
M lil worried because i have shared my aadhar card with him and also made one 10rs payment from paytm. Please guys be aware of ths kind of fraud and don’t ever make the intent payment to anyone.

We posted an ad. He said payment he will do only through google pay or paytm. We dont use both. We tried to use google pay. He took advantage of our poor knowledge and took money from google pay account. He made us pay him 5000 on a trial basis. So now 5000 is gone from my account. And he is now refusing to refund or give us his address or contact proof or anything to get our money back. Product is still with me. But rs 5000 is gone. He says his name is anit pandya but on google pay it showed as ayub

I posted an ad on olx - bed for 8000. This guy seen my number and called me saying that he will give me an advance of 5000 and will pick up later by giving me remaining amount. He asked me to send google pay qr code which i sent through whatsapp and he started requesting money for which i followed and lost 2000. I have all the screenshots of money being sent. Also the screenshots of the user. I request to please try to get my money back.

I have been using olx for job search, but i have been banned for no reason even olx people didn't send any kind of messages or emails regarding this.
Guys resolve this as soon as possible.

Incident description: i have posted an adv on olx for selling of my center table on july 6th, 2019 and quoted the rate at 7500/-.
I got the call from buyer after one-two hours since i posted my adv on olx. The buyer claimed himself to be rajasthan and buyer was ready to pay the amount of center table through google pay. I agreed to accept the amount. The buyer asked me to share my google pay display qr scan code which i did share to him on whatapps. Initally he sent me a request to pay him 1rs that i paid and amount 1rs is debited and then after sometime 1rs is again credited to my account. The buyer said he was using swiping machine so here google pay works in other way. Then the buyer asked me to do another transaction of 10k. Using the same method. But this time only the amount was debited from my account and there was no credit to my account. Vikas patel name a person ad on olx for his alto 800 car up32gh5122 selling. So i call him to this person he said he sell his bike at rs.80999. Then i said i want to buy then he said its good you send your id proof and send 7200 for transport charges. Becouse he job in indian army and now his posting at rajasthan and he send his car from indian army transport to my home address. Now he not send his car alto 800 and my sends money not send to me. I have posted an ad for selling my dog, chinese pug on 5.6.19. Many a time i tried to post this add it was not working. So i transferred rs249 to olx since i thought may it was the problem behind this. To my embarrassment after hours the ad was again rejected without mentioning any specific reasons and i expected a refund as popped up on olx.

But today i received a message that the unused unit of featured ad is expired!!! What the hell is this? Shall i get my money back soon???

I booked alto k10 vehicle no hp-55a-7327 on 29/06/2019. The owner of car told me that he is seving in cisf and he send the same car by indian air transport device shimla,, (Through corridor). He said to me at first you send rs5150/ to office ac no[protected]Laxman katara) ifsc code is pytm0123456. Next day morning one call recurved to me from another no [protected] and said that i am reached your nearest station and you send rs 26700/ into the same account no. I sent the money. After one hours he called me one and said that you required to send more amount that is rs31200/ after this he said i am unable to deliver your car without paying full payment that is 1, 30, 000/. I sent two more transaction both 20000/. After this he did not give car. He frauded to me. Mobile no of car owner is [protected]. My bank statement is also enclosed

He asked me to send google pay qr code which i sent through whatsapp and he started requesting money for which i followed and lost 15000. I have all the screenshots of money being sent. Also the screenshots of the user. I request to please try to get my money back.

Me and my friend searching for a good scooter in olx, my friend got a good scooter and he started chat with them.in single word olx fake person take my mob. Number and called me directly.
He say i am army person and my transfer happen in jamu, so i want to sell my bike today it's self, you can send me address and id proof and i will also share my all details. He will shared all army doc with me then i think he correct person and i am also shared my ids proof with them but after 10 min he call and tell for gate pass he wanted rs. 3000, i told you can pay but he told i am not using any online, you pay i don't have much time all the transfer doc completed, i just waiting for online payment, plz pay then you got scooter with in 2 hours and you can check if you not ok, you got your 3k refund,

After that i found some doubt and i started verifying there details and found scooter not register in there name, even he not remember date of registration. So i understand he fake, only one problem i shared my id's proof with them.

@all before start share any doc/money please verify the person, don't be trust any one.

Someone call me n ask for a code which end kn my inbox.. On tht tim i gave him bcz he tell to me tht its cmpny who gave m free recharge, on tht m bzy... But after that i checked tht someone create account on olx with my number.. And for tht he get code from me.. But now i want to delete account from him. He can missuse.... How can i.. Please help me.

I had posted an advertisement on olx for a punching bag for which i received a call from an olx user who said he is from army ad is not in city to pick the product showing interest in the same. He asked me to share the upi id on which he can send me money and he will send someone to pick the product. The product was picked and the money was never received. His phone number is switched off. It is such a fraud from olx that i would never trust them again. I need my 4000 rupees back. I have also logged an fir against this. The person has also shared his id proofs with me that i am attaching here.

This is regarding an incident of fake usage of ssb personnel id to manipulate and extort money. I would like to bring to your notice an incident that happened to me yesterday.

I was recently contacted by a person stating that he is ssb personnel[protected] sahil kumar on olx for accommodation. He provided me with all the identification proofs including ssb id card and aadhar card.

He demanded me to accept the payment only through google pay and sent a payment collection request instead of a deposit request. This made me suspicious and fortunately, i did not transact.

I have blocked the person from my end. However, i wanted to inform you about the fake user who is extorting money through olx account.

The number which sent me the ssb id over whatsapp is [protected]. Truecaller shows the number to be in rajasthan but the person told me that he was working in nagpur ssb.

I have seen a advertisement of Bolero zlx (MH14EH1962), he told me his name is Bhagawati dilip more ([ [protected]]) and he is in crpf and want to sell his car due to sudden transfer to indore, so the deal was fixed at 200000. He told me to deposit 7100 in his accont which i paid through paytm so that he can send it to the indian army transport parcel department (Slip is attached in pics) diver contact number ([protected]), he send me all his aadhar card, parcel slip in the name Bhagawat dilip more, the parcel arriving date was 02/07/2019. On 03/07/2019 he again called me saying that the parcel reached vidisha and you have to pay remaining amount of 16999 which i paid (16999 through paytm to sudhir chandra [protected] ifsc code "pytm0123456" account name "sudhir chandra")and then after 13940 again send through paytm and
he said because the gprs has been stopped and will be activated only if the amount is fully paid, after that i have paid the total amount rs38040 and he gave a response to it that the payment has been declined or not received due to which we cannot move further and the parcel is going back to sagar from where it was departed to sagar, and the amount will be refunded to you by tomorrow, but till now the amount is not refunded and neither they are receving the call. Please help me with the refund and help me getting this person red handed so that this did not happen to anyother.

I have taken airpods from olx the person name was akhil shk. He told he will send aripods within 2 days by bluedart so i had paid money of rs 4300 from paytm. Now he is saying that ahipping address was wrong and he is saying that he will not return my money and doesn't send the product. Pls take a serious action about my complaint and see that i will recieve my money back

To sell my bike, a person after seeing that advertisement, called me yesterday morning and said that he wants to purchase my bike, i told him come and see the condition of my bike, he said that yes sir i will come in the evening, but before i come to meet you, pls share me details where you want to take payment, he mentioned that i am not able to pay on paytm, i can pay you on google pay app, he kept on calling again and again to ask where i will accept payment and and when i told him, he intentionally commit fraud, he took rs. 30000 from my bank account. And then he blocked my phone no. So that i can't call him.. I tried to call him from various phone no., but he did blocked all that no. Also.
I have lost 30000 rs. Nd this fraud has been done using your site.

During the Purchasing process of eco from OLX site for the vehicle no-WB06 E8328 fraud done by so named Vikash Patel with mobile no, [protected], and another person named himself as Ratan Singh with mob no. [protected] both described themself as Army person and provided the forged document, and took the money in name of despatching the vehicle in the Paytm account no[protected], Ifsc code-PYTM0123456,
They took total amount of Rs. 62000 on dated 22.06.19 & 24.06.19 and did not dispatched the vehicle, and now both of them have switched their mobile phone in off mode, I am unable to trace them so please do the needful as they are ruining the name of OLX by doing the fraud by using the name of OLX.

On 28th july i have got an email regarding job offer in amazon for the post of supervisor.they have interviewed me and sent me offer letter and job application .they have asked me to deposit 1650 rs for amazon uniform charges assured to refuund in 7days after that they sent me hdfc bank opening forms and asked me to fill and as a deposit of 5150 rs for oening cahrges ihave transfered amount .but i came to know it was totally fraud.please refund my amount
