I Have purchase a insurance for my Mobile from this OneAssist company on 27th of March on phone.
My membership ID is [protected], Relationship No : 4032409, Claim no- SR#3048464, start date of policy- 28-Mar-2018 and end date 27-Mar-2019
While selling the executive told me your plan will activate 24-48 hrs after your payment of policy amount and your phone will get insured under it till 1 year. this is the information given to me while selling the product and told me is there is no hidden charges & hidden rules/clauses.
Now on 2nd of April my phone got damaged the screen is broken, i have filed a complain in OneAssist portal on same day.
As per their SLA the should have revert me with in 48 hrs but they didn't.
After repeated followup on 6th April i got a call saying, your claim is reject because we have a cooling period of 15 day and your policy is not yet activated. the insurance starts the cover after 15 days of purchasing the policy which is nowhere written & non of the executive has convey me. which is totally unacceptable. I have checked all their terms & conditions nowhere it has written that after purchasing the insurance if anything happened within 15 day you cant claim it.
I have kept all the screenshots of the terms & conditions & policies given in the oneassist page and the PDF copy they have shared.
I want to drag this fraud company to court. This is a simple case of cheating.
The executive are so rude and unprofessional while talking.
OneAssist Consumer Solutions customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
He is making fool to customer
