I accidentally knocked my phone off my desk while working at home and it fell from my desk causing the screen to crack. I followed all due process of oneassist and submitted the phone along with all the pertaining information to them. After nearly 2 months of constantly calling them, they rejected my claim on the basis of negligence! What is the point of accidental protection then if such a situation is not covered. My claim number is 1870846. Oneassist relationship number is : 1062748
When i proceeded to try appealing to the decision, i got an email query number which was 1996931 which was then never replied to.
The date of filing of the insurance was march 26th 2017
The phone was receieved by them on april 24th 2017
On the 25th of april, i got an estimate of rs.11, 255 as the repair cost.
Around then i got a call regarding the rejection of the insurance.
I sent the appeal email on may 19th 2017
Got the reason for rejection email on the may 24th 2017
I would like for the insurance company to follow through with the claim and repair the device.

Updated by sarthakrulz Not at all. How was it negligent to keep the phone on my desk as I work in my own home? Absolutely no justification has been given for the rejection.
