I registered for mobileassist plan i.e. type of insurance plan for my mobile on 27/12/2015 giving the details asked to me when i called on the company's toll free no. i.e [protected]. The person on call asked my name so i told them my fake name Ronit Ladkani as i always use this name on online shopping and even my on my phone's invoice its Ronit but my real name i.e. on photo id proof is Janu Ladkani.
later after payment of 749 the mail from the company asked for some photos in which one was of my "photo id proof". i called the company and told them that i registered the service with my name Ronit but name on license is Janu so they told me to write this on a mail and send to the "[protected]@oneassist.in" and i did. I even asked them to change my name on the plan from Ronit to Janu but they said that this can't be done and told me to again and again send this whole name thing on a mail. My phone got damaged on 1st January 2016 accidently and i applied for claim on 2nd jan. 2016. anad again this name issue goes on with them, whatever they asked to proove that Ronit and Janu are both my name, i did it. finallly my phone got picked on 12th feb. 2016 but again agter almost 17 days today they called my and ssaid that my claim was rejected because of the not matching of name registered and that on id proof and alsoo they will give my phone back to me damaged and unrepaired. i want to register a consumer complaint against them.

    I am a Platinum Member with them.
    I raised a claim close to two months ago.
    There is no sight of my handset.
    The courtesy handset (supposed to be given during the term of the claim)
    Was never given.
    I communicated over emails and telephone with no revert whatsoever.
    The promises made to me to make me a member on hindsight has been LIES.

      A fraud company

      Hi ! my humble request to every one don't go with these cheaters, they really doing false business by fake marketing promise.

      Perfect symptoms of fraud company. I am considering taking legal action to prevent others from getting duped by this fraud company.

      The customer service is horrible and it is the worst company to buy insurance from....

      I bought an insurance for my iPhone 6 for Rs.4000, i lost my mobile on 16th Dec'15. I have given all the documents but they are not giving me my claim money. Every time i call or visit hey say it will take 10 days next time they say 25 days and the no. of days keep on increasing. It's been almost 3 months and i haven't got my money even they are not picking my calls.

      Even they have taken from me the original mobile bill so that i don't have a proof that I purchased the cell phone. Also they demanded the original FIR. I'm very sure they are frauds.

        I have a complaint regarding an insurance claim company one assist for having my phone repaired within a certain span of days which they fail to do and it have been almost 2 months that they have not delivered my phone despite so many calls ive made. They have poor customer service who does not know what is happening. Need to take an action against them.

          I had filaed a report for my damaged cellphone as it had covered insurance of water damage. I gave it to one assist i had loged a complaint on 9th of november 2015 after some days they said that it isbeyond economical repair and would send me the amount of Rs 4, 600 but till now i haven't received my amount. I checked reviews of the company people like me are suffering the same problem.They give false assurance that they will give us spare handset but they dont give..Please help me

            I have purchased an Insurance plan for My Mobile Motorola X Play from this company on 17-Dec-2015. I provided the required documents (Invoice of Mobile, IMEI No ScreenShot, Various Images of Phone from, back etc). Now after 1 month (almost) my phone got liquid damaged, so i called their customer care to report and apply for claim. They asked me to provide my IMEI no. When i told them, they said it is not matching with the one they have in their database against my insurance. I was surprised as i have provided all original and valid documents. After lots of arguments, they said they will escalate my issue to higher authority. Then i recieved a callback from their executive Mr Ritesh Soni (ritesh.[protected]@onassis.com) who initially dealing with my insurance plan. He told me that it was their mistake as they enter wrong IMEI no so he will apply for change of IEMI no and I can then apply for claim. Company doesn't register the claim until IMEI no matches. Now two days later they called me saying my IMEI no change was successful and i recieved a claim form email as per which i provided my invoice and damaged for photos along with claim form and reverted to the email.

            But for two weeks i haven't any update on the claim even i sent email to update me. Then i forced to call them. Their executive said they are verifying my documents. Again i waited for a week and no response from their side. Then i called them, the person who took my call said your case was closed due to Wrong IMEI no. I was shocked as the IMEI no issue was already resolved by their team only. Than i told them case history and they told me they will update the case and your device will be collected by our representative in couple of days. But again same, 10 days no response. I called them 6 times(almost) and they are not responding although every time they assure me that they will call me but they are not giving me call.

            I have recorded their calls and i have all documents with me. Please help me out to resolve this. Please let me know if i can register complain to IRDA or Consumer Court.

            Please people dont buy any insurance plan from this rascal one assist co. These beggers grab my 3 months old samsung a5, nd after a more then a year i am still waiting for response as i already done my all formalities nd said requirements. Nobaody has courage to give a feedback to respective customer. These company and staff members are all. I dont belive how our goverment register a licence of that type of . If anybody who faced the same situation kindly suggest what i do next.. And how i can them

            which replacement letter are you talking about? In the next case You have closed my claim. Such a bad service you are providing. I have sent all the documents I received.
            Very poor service form one assist. they are running a fraud company. I suggest we place a Class action lawsuit on the company. Contact me at [protected]@gmail.com and we all can place a lawsuit on the company.
            MY phone is with them for 1 month now but it is still under pending approval from insurance company.
            They are way past their time frame for the approval but still no reply or calls from oneassist.
            My repair estimate is way higher just for a broken s7 edge display, but they are changing the back place as well as the motherboard. When asked them for re-approval copy, they are not sending the same.

            Let us all take action and show company like these that they cant do whatever they please without any consequence!!!

            I am also trying to lodge a complain against one assist with IRDA. I had purchased the insurance for my handset online and had contacted one assist for service when it was damaged. The customer care informed after a couple of weeks that my area was not servicable. This they did not mention when I had purchased the insurance specifying my area details. However they had promised to reimburse my repair charges. I got the handset repaired from the authorized service center and couriered the invoice copy and other documents for reimbursement. They company has not given any sort of explanation on why they have not reimbursed the service charges till now. It has been more than 4 months since I raised the claim. It is fraud to get the premium amount online from customers and not provide insurance when claim is raised. People don't bother to follow up since the premium amount is only one time.

            Such a fraud company please dint buy insurance from this company, they cheated me for my iphone 7 claim request i have request for my broken device return, but they haven't deliver my broken device yet its been a month they are still playing games with my claim request.

            No1 fraud insurance company dint ever buy insurance from this company will cancel my policy once i receive my device
            I have purchased an Insurance plan for my mobile One Plus 5 from this company at the time of purchase. On 11th November I accidentally lost my phone in terms of slept from pocket while driving the moter-bike. I did all the procedure as required FIR, lodging a complain with the co. and sending all the required documents but they rejected my claim stating "Loss or damage to the device under mysterious circumstances / disappearance or unexplained reasons". I am unable to understand what else reason does these guys need, this is crystal clear that the loss occurred accidentally while driving bike and it slept from my pocket. So over telephone they asked me to reply to this matter stating the reason again and they will consider the matter again and reply me back. But more than 15 days passed and still no reply has been received from them in this matter.

            If they cannot give me the claim then why are they taking such premium charges from us and making us assure that our devices are secured and safe. This is not the case only with me, above I can see hell lot of people complaining about this fraud company making a big fool out of people. I cannot get it how IRDA is allowing such companies to run. If I would have know about these all in advance I would have never done any kind of insurance. Many people asked me not to do any kind of insurance for mobile as they are all fraud i wish i would have listen to them. IRDA must do some thing to protect the interest of customers other wise what's the need of insurance and such organisations.

            Now I want to know how can I reach to IRDA or Consumer Court against this company and I will make sure such companies pay a huge amount of penalties for fooling people, taking people's hard earned money and more over making fun out of people.

Insurance companies need complete detail for investigation, Its in the terms and condition of an insurance company. Hence, the claim was rejected.

              Just had the worst experience with OneAssist. They are one of the most fraudulent mobile insurance providers. Please save your selves the trouble of buying this expensive worthless insurance along with your already expensive worthless Iphone.

              Bought an iPhone from Iplanet indiranagar and was sold this full cover crappy insurance that never got processed. All required documents were sent yet they claim they never did. All email trails are available with us and yet they claim we never sent them emails with details of the claim.

              OneAssist has the worst customer care that don't understand nor know how to communicate in English, they keep saying the same crap like a broken accordion. Now my friend had a major road accident and was admitted and even though this was communicated, the case was closed conveniently. The insurance typically should have been processed within 20 days of submitting the claim and they were supposed to provide a spare phone while the claim was being processed but NOT one of their commitments were honored. The executives never came to collect the damaged handset nor provided with a spare phone nor followed up with us nor sent appropriate emails.

              Please dont buy this insurance, save your rs 3999 and 1000 phone calls and time and peace.

                I have never such such a pathetic company than this.
                I took a full coverage plan for my iphone 6s.
                Had an accident and called them the same day.
                They asked to send the docs within next 48 hours. The docs were sent within 48 mins, but thanks to their mail box, they did not receive it for the next 1 week.
                I wonder what generation they are in where the email is received in a week.
                After waiting for 2 weeks and no response from them, i contacted the person who sold the warranty to me.
                It was then he got this prioritized and somebody arrived to pick my phone (after 20 days of reporting the issue).

                The person who was sent did not carry an alternate phone (yet another sign of pathetic service).
                He took my phone and it has been another 10 days of waiting but I have not received a temporary phone yet.

                The worst part is, customer care was not aware that the phone has been picked up.
                According to them, the handset was yet to be picked up (this was after 32 days of reporting the fault)
                Till date, I have not received the temporary handset nor any information of my iphone.
                They want another 20-25 days.

                When you call customer care, they will give you the same lines; which are :
                "We will escalate the case, you will get a callback"
                "We need to check for the details, please be on the line"; and then the call is disconnected.
                You ask for a supervisor, they will refuse to pass the call.
                Ask for manager; they will say "Manager is busy on another call"
                Extreme was when I said I would raise this to consumer forum and they asked me to go ahead and raise it.

                This has been the worst ever frontline section, worst ever company.
                This is a company that does not abide to the rules of the agreement given by them.
                Total waste of money and time.

                  I bought an Insurance Policy from Oneassist for my iPhone6, by paying a hefty insurance premium. And later, The phone was damaged and i raised a claim request on 4th December, 2015. This damage was covered by the policy, and they had claimed 30 days replacement. Its been more than a month now and yet there is no update on the phone replacement. The courtesy handset they provided, is not in a working condition at all. Each time, a new executive picks the phone on their customer care number[protected] and i have been made to narrate the same story over and over again. Each call lasts for more than 30-45 minutes, with no productive outcome at all. Initially, they claimed have not received my email sent to [protected]@oneassist.in for more than 10 days, i had to resend it more than 10 times for them to finally accept the documents. Now for the past 12 days, they are claiming that the decision is pending from the Insurance partner. And they have no clue about when the same would be completed.                     Hi I bought plan "OneAssist YU Assure Accidental Damage and Liquid Damage Protection for YU Yureka Mobile". I have given my mobile 2.5 months ago for damage claim and repair and also given the excess amount payment.Now I am really fed up of their process as my mobile is delayed again and again and I really need it now.And moreover they don't reply to the emails and the reply I get from the customer service is to wait for few days. They claim that it will not take more than 20 working days and now it has been more than 2 months.Kindly help me out how can I resolve this issue.My relationship number is 397250.                       Consumer Insurance company took my handset for repair since almost 2 months and neither giving it back nor giving me proper status. Also not giving standby handset and also crossed all given Turn Around Time Policy No - 521249 Now they are not reply to my mails and started disconnecting my calls at call-center What do i do
                      I dont know how did this company got a licence.

                      I registered a complaint on 30th Sep 2015 and today we are sitting on 3rd Dec, its 2 months and a week this guys took my handset and everything is in black-hole. All of a sudden in got couple of calls on Monday and now they are stating in mail communication that handset may get repaired by 11th Dec, but not sure...
                      Which means one more month is gone without handset.


                      dear team please suggest how give awareness to others consumers to not to buy any policy from this company and where d oi go to take action against them.

                        Hi my Name is Narendra. i have received new credit card from icici bank. i have used this ccard for personal use for 514 Rs. after 15days i received Statement from icicibank it show 2550rs need to pay. when i check with Icici people they said we have a insurance with above mentioned organization. they have debited rest of the amount for cards security and insurance. when we check with ICICI bank personals said irresponsibly we are not responsible for third party insurances. My question is here how they allowed to debit my amount for third party insurances with intimating me. when i check with so called bogus insurance company they even responding our query and they dont want repay back of insurance amount. how ever they are trying forcing us to buy one more insurance with them. They even not allowing to describing the issue. Nearly call happened to 1.20 min to us to tell them to de active the current insurance with card and refund the amount.

                          Its been more than two months and I still have not received my phone. I have already raised a complaint on 31st Aug 2015 but nothing happened till now besides I am not receiving any acknowledgment from oneassist team. I have been receiving messages stating fake promises that my phone will arriving after six days and I have received approximately 7 messages of that. Whenever I call them I receives only one statement that the phone parts are not available in the market and they have not received any due date from service center. They are passing me pillar to post and not giving any accurate information. The agent whom I have been doing follow-up was not so much helpful and seems to be not interested. They have been neglecting my request since last 6 months. Now I am worried what should I do. There is no other way where I can get my repaired device. I have all relevant documents related to my insurance as well. There is a policy as well where is they can replace my phone but instead of helping me they are neglecting my request. Please help me in order to get my phone as soon as possible

                          One Assist is a Fraud company. They do not stick to their dates. Their service is too bad. No one should opt ONE ASSIST. We should bring awareness among all customers. Amazon and other Online marketing companies should ban promoting ONE ASSIST.

                            After the purchase of my yureka phone I had purchased a oneassist plan to protect my mobile from accidental damage.After 7 months my mobile got damaged and I had raised my claim to oneassist.After several documentation and exchange of several mails company is telling me that the imei I had registered is not matching with my docs hence they will close my claim.please help me someone.                               My Phone got stolen (Theft) and i did all the procedures as directed by the customer service from OneAssist . Theft occurred in the area of Indiranagar on 9th October 2015 at around 5:15pm. Place of Incident is 12th main Signal heading towards 13th main my Aunts house at Indiranagar Bangalore. This incident happened at Indiranagar, Nearby to Sony signal road heading towards Sony signal (land mark) while going in my car (Omni) driven by Athish (own cousin) and I was sitting next to him and he is a true witness. While going towards the signal the car had to stop at a point. At that time a random fellow came forward make a weird noise which freaked me out for a second and at that gap he took the phone which was in my shirt pocket and ran, I immediately got down from the car went chasing him, he was much faster than me and jumped upon a bike where there was another guy sitting. I noticed that the bike was kept started already and once that guy jumped on the bike and they moved very fast. Immediately I called the number which I had on the iPhone ([protected]) from my other alternative number ([protected]). It was ringing once fully but the second time I called it rang and the call got cut, Third time when I called the number said switched off. After that me and my brother went searching for any sign of those 2 guys around but unfortunately we couldn’t find them. We also went home Logged into the iCloud to check for the location, lock, and block the phone and it showed Offline. Later at around 6:30 I called up OneAssist (Insurance Company) and informed them first regarding this incident and they agreed for the claim of theft insurance and asked to do the necessary procedures. In between I had got calls from the Insurance Company with the confirmation of the details I had provided. Later I had gone to the Indiranagar police station at around 7:30/7:45 on 9th October 2015 itself and tried logging an FIR complaint. they did not take the FIR but took the IMEI number and the Phone details and requested to come the next day on 10th October 2015 to file a complaint to take the necessary actions, at around 8:30pm I guess I got a call from OneAssist blocking the number([protected]). Next day, Due to the mismatch of time on 10th October 2015 between me and the inspector, I could not give FIR and take an acknowledgement and next day 11th October 2015 at 10am I visited the Indiranagar Police station and they asked me all the details regarding the place and time of incident and suggested me to file a complaint in Jeevan Beema Nagar police station, since the place of theft does not belong to their circle, soon after I went to the suggested police station filed a complaint with request of Insurance claiming for the theft of my iPhone 6. They listened to the whole incident like explained in the above and came with me to see the place of theft occurrence to confirm themselves if my complaint was genuine or not, After confirming, Then later they took the complaint of mine on and with date 11th October 2015 and gave me an acknowledgement copy of the complaint with seal and signature of the Officer in-charge. After this i got a reply from OneAssist insurance deck to send a copy of all the documents via mail and once the mail was sent they replied me that the documents are in order and the send all the original documents through courier . After sending the courier on 15th October and i also got a confirmation from the courier agent that the courier was delivered .till date there was no reply from their side and it has already been 7days after the courier was sent. till now there is no proper communication from their side to me and i feel they are trying to cheat me. please accept my complaint and do the needful.

                                I had raised complaint with one assist company for claim for my mobile device which I got insured. The complaint logged on 23June 2015. All the procedures have been completed by me alongwith required documents 2 months before from now. But still I had not received my claim amount which I was supposed to get within three months. My mobile was git damaged which they covered up in insurance and said provide documents n ur mobile . I did same but after three months they said ur handest cannot be repaired and u have claimed with the claim amount which will be refunded with 20-30 working days . But its 15 th october and they just say again and again the same thing it will take 15 days it will take 20 days but I am not getting proper response. Even no management is dare to take care of it.Attached is mobile bill with vendor from where it bought and it is still with claim team which they required for claim process. Please help me out this.

                                Here are a few highlights about the insurance scheme which i have taken for Rs 750 for mi4i:-
                                1)Accidental Damage Cover
                                2)Provision of a spare phone when the phone is taken for service
                                3)Phone serviced and returned within 30 days
                                4) Pick up and Drop of Handset

                                Now to tell you about my experience.

                                My phone screen cracked on 8th Jan, 2016 and i placed a complaint on the same date. My claim was passed soon after and was told that someone would come and collect my phone within 24 hours. While all this is well and good, i had placed a request to them to change my pick up address as i have shifted my house. They obliged. Then i got a call one day saying that they are ready to pick up my phone, but he was at my old city. I placed a request again and the same thing happened. This happened another time, believe it or not.

                                The phone was finally picked up on 23rd Jan, 2016 but i was not given any spare phone which is included in the plan. The pick up guy told me that i should have placed a request with the team in Mumbai for it. The funny thing is i did request for the spare phone 2 times prior to the pick up. I dont understand why a request should be made when i was part of the plan.

                                Now when i called to find out about the status of my phone repair and the spare phone the call center person tells me they do not have any information on my phone even being picked up!

                                I have fallen for this trap. Buyers Beware.

                                PS- Dont believe in the call center people's promises and their escalations as nothing is different. You will literally have to beg them to do something. Instead if making like easier for their customers(the main reason for taking an insurance) they make it hell.

                                I just hope i get my phone back now.

                                  When I purchased the my iPhone 128 GB gold from the Apple Store they suggested I take the OneAssist insurance as it covers theft as well as 2 free replacement on physician damage by water or if it breaks down by mistake. I took my phone in January 2015 and the insurance is valid for 1 year, my phone broke ones in April and they replaced it but in August when my replaced phone fell in water it stopped working and I went to claim for insurance and they said that it can't be replaced as we dint submit the IMIE number and photos of the new phone. They were the ones who gave the approval for phone replacement and they don't tell me that this was essential to give them the new phones IMIE number and photos for keeping the Insutnace valid. Not a single communication about it. And then they say we can't replace. On the first call to the customer care they said the phone can be replaced only ones and so I went back to the Apple Store who sold me the insurance along with the phone and I told him you had told free twice replacement then why are the refusing. He called one Assit and they said yes it's twice after that.

                                    Delay in Delivery of handset claimed for Insurance Hello Everyone, Am writing this mail with the high dissatisfaction regarding my complaint no (109928) as i have handed over my phone on May 23rd for accidental damage and they have taken more than 3 months to replace the handset and they do not have the information that when does the handset would get replaced and also i have payed the extra charges which was not covered under the insurance and after paying they have taken more than 6 weeks to replace the handset and One Assist Customer Representatives are really pathetic as everybody trys to escape instead of helping us out and some representatives names are Shaheen, Ali, Deepa, Manila and particularly who works in the backend department named as Amul he only knows to postpone the things and they are not giving a proper information whom to contact and also they always say that Team Leads or Supervisor are not available in the floor from past 2 months and really not sure how they run the show without Team Leads with this dumb representatives Please look after this complain as i am at the peak level of disappointment as well as frustration for this delay & your fake commitment.
