My phone (Mi4 ) got damaged on 7th of june, they took my phone on 13th of june,
now its been more than 2 months..

they keep changing the dates. Giving me lame excuses of "parts are not available." ..
i do have the recordings of every call i made with them, from very first day,

they confirmed that my phone is been repaired and its in delivery process.. but on delivery day they just say my phone due date is changed..

they r the biggest liars ..
i need to file the case against mi india and one assist . I do have the recordings .. can anyone help me. They r torturing the customers..

Hey Jayesh,
Even I had the same case, my phone was damaged on 6th June, 2016 and its their 2-3 month process. I have just received my device today. I don't understand what is the use of this type of service if they are gonna keep the device for 3 months. We need to find some solution to shut down such companies who don't care for their customer and customers had to go through such harassment.

    Fraud company no one should buy this insurance they are cheaters. they say one thing at the time of buying insurance for handset and at the time of claim they completely differ from what they said. i bought a insurance on 30 july 2016 at Mi service store bapunagar, Ahmedabad. the insurance person Mr.dipak Sharma insisted me to take a insurance for my handset redimi note 3 for accidental and liquid damage as i came there for service of my phone from Surendranagar 110 km from ahmedabad at my cost and serviced my handset there. Mr.Dipak told me to take insurance of your handset from here so next time if any above problem occurs you need not have come here our insurance personel will come there and collect your handset and repaired it backed to you by charging 5% of the total cost and in between repair time u will get temporary handset.
    On 14 aug my handset display was broken by slipping from my hand on the ground . i called customer care of one assist for claim of insurance and fullfilled all procedure as asked by one assist team, after 1 week on 22 aug i received a claim form and a handset pouch of one assist, again i called up customer care about this to my utter suprise they told me that your claim address is out of service area so you have to send your handset and claim form dully filled by our courier partner Bluedart and you will not get temporary handset for same as your out of service area, so, i said at time your insurance guy Mr.Dipak sharma not told me all this and also it not mentioned in the kit that if your claim address is in out of service area you will not get temporary handset.
    to this question of mine the customer care executive said due out of service area we are unable to give you this service and usually it will take 30 days from the day of process of our claim to repaired back you handset by courier. so, on 27 again i called customer care and requested them to cancel my insurance policy of handset and refund my hard earned registration amount of 549 to me. now they telling me to wait for 48 hrs our Higher personnel will call you, till now i am getting miss call from the if they don't cancel my policy by 29 aug i will loose my haer earn money. it is better directly go to service center replace the display by paying cash of 2870 on replaced in 2 hrs than wait for one month or god knows how much time it will take to repaired back the handset it comes to me or not. before giving for claim so much harassment after giving my handset who knows they will answer my call?????. so guys it is a fake and fraud company consumer forum should take action on this company save peoples hard earned money.my sr no is-1509049.relationship no is-1169094.

      We had purchased an insurance for our company cellphone Apple iphone 6S Plus, insurance had costed us Rs 3599 -/- . During the online payment, we got
      an payment failure message at the company's website. But the amount was deducted from our credit card (confirmed the same from our Bank). Had sent all the relevant documents to One Assist customer care email address but its been a week now and we are yet to hear from them. Please help..

        I have gone through continuous harassment in last 2 months, and still waiting for claim settlement for my stolen mobile.
        One Assist is the BEST in poor service, making customers frustrated, harassing the customers, unprofessional behavior, etc etc etc..
        Its more than 2 months, I am still waiting for my claim settlement for stolen mobile. They keep coming back asking for the same set of documents that have already been shared. They loose your documents and again ask for the same in few days. This way they just keep extending the time, in which the customer gets frustrated, and finally loose patience and give off this claim, Thus, One Assist gets benefited.
        Their customer support is seriously pathetic. Unprofessional agents, lack of customer service. In last 2 months, I have asked them multiple times to transfer to their supervisor for escalation; however, every time I get common answer "Supervisor is on another escalation or a meeting". They always promised to arrange a call back from the supervisor in a couple of hours, but never did.
        I really don't know if I am ever going to get my claim settled.
        Please guys, DONOT ever buy any insurance from One Assist.

          I got my handset insured from M/s OneAssit and it got liquid damaged. They did not pick up handset within given timeline by them. Also I never got any curtsy handset which they promise. After one and half month I got a response from their side that my handset is non-repairable and they will pay me 70% of its' value and retain the handset with them. I know the handset is repairable and when I handed over it to them it was totally working. I can not buy new same handset from the money they are offering. I tried to contact them over customer helpline and email but no good response. Please help.

            I bought new mi redmi note 3 on 7th april, 2016 from mi official indian website and with that they provided mi protect (handled by this fraud/scam/fake company oneassist)
            One fine day that was 6th june, 2016, my device screen got damaged after it got slipped from my hand. to my satisfaction, i knew i had insurance covered i. e mi protect (handled by this fraud/scam/fake company oneassist).

            So i filed the claim from their website and filled all the required info and done all the steps required by this fraud/scam/fake company oneassist.

            After all the hassle (that is another story/complaint), my device was picked up around 18th june, 2016 and around 24th-25th june, i paid the 5% amount (around rs 300) required by this fake company. finally their process claim moved forward and i got the date for my device to be repaired by 18th july. so waited for around a month and hoping that i will get the device maximum by 20th july, 2016. i got no update from them on 18th -19th july so i called them and they gave me new date that by 27th july, my device will be repaired. again same story then new date 6th august, again same story then new date 10th, same new date 24th august. so i emailed this fake company (my 29th-30th emails since this whole claim process is started) image attached and called them and they give me as usual new date. this email is their standard response when you ask for new date.
            Its like automatic system which just increments the date and says its subject to availability of service parts.

            I have explained my story and all this mental torture for just rs 10k device.
            Please tell me what is the use of their so called insurance if its gonna take 3 months (or may be more as i dont have any real update from them). my 3 months warranty is already gone due to their exceptional services.in what world it takes 2 month to avail the service parts. this is no less than scam and such companies can only exist in india where companies can do whatever hell they want. i am just surprised mi has partnered with such company.

            Please tell me if we can take any real action against these scammers.

              Sir i have purchased my one assist iphone 6s plus on[protected] from i planet bangalore show room as per there forse and advise. And my phone got damaged on 23-aug-2016 2 pm, but when i called the customer care executive she again and again inquiring whether its on 23 or the other day and time again and again so confused i told her might be on 21-08 suddenly she told sir i cant help for your insurance because the time lapsed. Then once agin i called the customer care and i scold her that when 1 st i told day before yesterday why u forse me to say the she took the complaint but one thing i cant understand after seeing the 78 cases are pending against this company the following doubt
              1) in the brocher /invoice pamplet no where they mentioned whin in 48 hours we have to report so where they hidden that point and why they are insisting customers to say lie
              2) my phone worth 80000 rs whether they will return back to me (becuse 78 cases told "no")
              3) whether this company is trust able becuse from imei to every thing even our 80000 phone also they are taking
              4) how the apple dealers are insisting this type of company 's policy to buy to there customeres

                I purchased the oneassist mobile insurance along with my mobile. It covered damages and expenses for my samsung galaxy e5 mobile
                My phone fell of my hand and the screen got damaged, and on the same day i raised a claim request with one assist and submitted the phone in january 2016. They picked up the phone from my place and after a month asked me to pay rs. 305 as processing fees. Ever since i've been calling them for various reasons but i have not got my mobile back. When they take the claim, they take damaged mobile and never return it back.

                  Claim not honoured even after 2 months
                  My claim number is sr#1391883. I had put an insurance plan for my mobile with one assist protection plan[protected]. I had dropped and the screen got a crack. All other functions including touch was working fine. I had raised a claim for change of screen. They collected extra money for that also and had to followup daily for the delivery of the serviced handset. It took more than a month for them to return the repaired handset. I was delivered the mobile on 23rd june, 2016. It was completely not working. The following were the issues which were not present when i gave the mobile for change of screen. The phone was in perfect working condition when i gave it initially except for the broken glass. Now the following are not happening.

                  Sim cards both slots are not working. Battery s draining quickly without usage. Wifi s not working.
                  Phone is rebooting very often in idle mode,
                  Phone s getting switched off when any application is opened.

                  Immediately had complained to them both by phone and mail and repickup was initiated on 24th june 2016. Til now it has not been picked up back. Inspite on literally hundred calls i had made and hundred mails i have sent. This is completely unacceptable. My membership id is [protected] and my relationship no : 685515.

                    This is far from resolved, the ony thing communicated to me was that mail was not sufficient, I had to put EMEI number on call centre, which is false as I had an acknowledgement saying they do not require any further documents and acknowledge receipt of all docs by mail

                      I have purchase redmi note 3 on march month of 2016 with mi application for 11999 plus 375 for insurance with mi protect plan. Which they are tie up oneassist care for process insurance. They have responsibility for verify the damaged phone and pick and handover for service...
                      My phone got damaged on 28th of july midnight due to heavy rain immediately i have register complaint with oneassist... From date of 28th july they took so many days to verify the documents and also raising stupid quires.. I have continuously call them for pickup damaged phone. When ever i call customer care they will tel need 24 to 48 hours for arrange pick up... After 48 hours if again i call same reason need 48 hours... From last month 28th of july till the date no one has not bother to call me and assist on this... Recently they took time 22nd august they are going to pick up the damaged phone... Its also false commitment... Please avoid this kind of fraud thing and take serious action on them...

                      I have register complaint on 28 th of july regarding water damaged of phone..you one assist verified documents and process on 4th of august ..after that i have received mail some one person will come nd pick up the handset but the pick done on 26th of august ..after 22 days you people pick up the damaged phone...how fast you are working...in between 2nd of september i received excess payment mail of rs-338 same day i have done payment and share the screen shot of payment..then i have received mail on 7th of sep payment received mail, ...then after i have not received an[censored]pdate from one assist team. i am only calling and talking ststus from care people..they i have received promise that 26th of sep is due date of handset ..i called on 26th of sep for status i got information that i will received phone another 2-3 working days...but today 27th of sep i have called now they playing with me ..and given due date of 11th of october...i am not going to wait till 11th i need my phone back or kindly provided new handset to me...otherwise am going to file case under cheating and also am going to send notice for one assist ..for cheating me...

                        This is very pathetic services as there is no use of taking insurance totally fake collecting money from customer one Assist should provide extend company warranty as much day's the take to resolve the issue as half of warranty period laying with service center... some one as to take it seriously this issue.

                        Like Emmanuel there must be so much customer suffering with this issue...

                        I bought kindle and one assist from amazon on 4th Sept., 2016. Due to chinesse language I am not able to use kindle and I am also not able to activate the one assist software. Temporarily I lost interest due to language problem. I also do not know that I should activate the one assist within a month.                           One assist is the company that has partnered with xiaomi to provide the mi protect policy. According to the policy, if the phone is damaged, it is repaired with a minimum cost within 20 days or so. I have realised though that one assist however, is a huge fraud company. I recently checked their facebook page and saw that it is filledddd with complaints or very bad service.

                          My mobile adld claim request number is 911927. I haven't received my phone since a month, it has been more than 2 weeks since the excess fee payment and the official mail says the phone is returned within 10 days of the payment. Please look into the matter immediately. After calling the customer care, they say there is some problem from the service and it will be returned later.

                          I asked several times for a call back after they have spoken to the service centre to understand the issue and speeden the process but there is never any response. This complaint was raised with the senior executive lokesh, he promised that he will look into the matter but again there was no response.
                          The junior executives bharadwaj, priya and sneha have been more than unprofessional.

                          The service is pathetic. Everything about it, response time, customer care executives, both senior and junior, service centre. Pathetic and disgusting. Nobody cares about the complaint.

                          Once they receive the excess money payment, they stop responding. The service is so disappointing and unprofessional. I only have bad things to say.

                          Please resolve this issue with utmost urgency. I need the phone back asap.

                            On 19/15/2016 my mobile was fell on the floor.
                            I initiated a claim on the same day and sent the necessary documents

                            Handset pick up was initiated on 23/05/2016

                            Still they took 2 months to deliver the replacement handset saying that there is a stock issue, i. E,
                            The handset they sent stopped working the same day when i rebooted the phone. Again i registered a complaint on same day and they initiated the re pick up of the handset.
                            The re pick up was done after more than a month.
                            Its been more than 3 since the re pickup, they are not giving back the handset.
                            Everytime i call the customer care, they say that there is a stock issue and they will come back to me within 48hrs and they never call back.
                            I am fed up of callig their customer care which i have done more than 1000 times in the last 7 months.
                            They are not even ready to provide resolution for my case.


                            They are letting our india otherwise the day is not far when everyone will start ignoring courts and regulation.

                              Hi all,

                              This is to address the appalling and cringe-worthy customer service experience with oneassist. I hope by the time people read this, they will have a clear idea about the kind of cheating, harassment and willful negligence oneassist does to it customers.

                              I had opted for a mi protect plan while purchasing my mi5. After two months, due to accidental damage, i filed a claim (Membership id: 909987, sr #1446199) on 25th june 2016 in order to get the back shell replaced. Only then did i found out that the claims are handled by oneassist and not by xiaomi themselves. That was the beginning of my stressful and painful experience with oneassist which by the way has still not ended, and doesn't seem to have an end at all.

                              1. My handset was picked up on 30th june 2016.
                              2. Post completion of documentation etc. I received the repair estimate amount on 2nd july 2016.
                              3. The process seemed to be going smoothly. However, i did not receive any further communication from them for the next 2 weeks! Upon calling them, i found out that they had 'forgotten' to send the claim documents to me.
                              4. I finally received the documents on 18th july which i duly signed and sent back on the same day.
                              5. After calling them almost everyday, and hearing that i'll get my device back in "5 to 10 working days" i found out that they again forgot to send me the excess amount email.
                              6. I received that email on 1st august 2016. (One month without handset). I paid the amount on the same day. Meanwhile they again promised me i'll get the device back within 10 days of paying excess amount.
                              7. Again after calling back and forth for 10 days, on 5th august, i was told my device has been sent for repair and i'll get it in 10 days.
                              8. The last communication i made with them was on 12th august. They told me my due date was extended to aug 30th and i'll get the device by 1st or 2nd september. When i talked to the supervisor, she said, "you may get the device before on or after 30th august also.". Then what the hell does the due date even mean!?

                              As of 19th august 2016, i'm still without my phone, with no one in the entire company willing to lift a finger. They're all mixed up in this and are aware of the fraudulent and lethargic activities going on within the organization. The harassment and suffering i've endured, and am still enduring, due to their negligent behavior is beyond compare. I hope nobody has to go through such an experience ever. Therefore, along with this complaint, i am going to submit my grievances to the highest entity in oneassist. I will also be forwarding the case to xiaomi so that they can probe into this matter. Unless i receive some form of communication from oneassist along with a written deadline. I will be taking my case to the legal judiciary system as well.

                              My case is not unique. As i've seen, a lot of people have faced the same issue with this company. I firmly believe that an organization that does not have the slightest regard for it's customer, should not be allowed to strive and thrive. I will be posting this on every consumer forum and social media outlet possible. I hope i will be able to spread awareness about the malpractices going on within this system. Dear citizens and owners of this forum, i implore you to look into this matter and suggest further steps.

                                I am V.Kolangiappar, today (by 3.24pm) I have received a message from one assist stating that membership fee is debited from my HDFC DINERS CLUB Card which is not at all authorized by me. I did not know how they proposed to HDFC and HDFC authorized they payment without my consent. (Customer) while contacting HDFC Phone banking I got a number of customer care of one assist from Nivedhini (Chennai). She told sorry, that she is helpless.

                                While contacting One assist customer care No.[protected] one Mr.Anand forced me and tried to convince me to use their services. The question is without a proper acceptance from me how should they propose and forced HDFC to authorize payment from my credit card.

                                I got a complaint Number from one assist 521462 but till now they did not cancel it.

                                  I took a phone from redmi from their web portal and also took an insurance package. My phone got broke and for that i contacted oneassist consumer solutions. The complaint was raised on august 01st, 2016 - escalated 2 times, called them on 6 different times - till now phone has not been picked, which was supposed to be picked by 02nd august, and then 16th august.

                                  M/s OneAssist is just cheating on its customers. I got my handset insured from M/s OneAssit and it got liquid damaged. They did not pick up handset within given timeline by them. Also I never got any curtsy handset which they promise. After one and half month I got a response from their side that my handset is non-repairable and they will pay me 70% of its' value and retain the handset with them. I know the handset is repairable and when I handed over it to them it was totally working. I can not buy new same handset from the money they are offering. I tried to contact them over customer helpline and email but no good response. Please help.

                                    One Assist product was being given to me wherein I cancelled the same within 30 days period time.
                                    Still the product was being cancelled after 30 days and I am being charged for it wherein I didn't wanted the product.

                                      I purchased the OneAssist Mobile Insurance along with my mobile on 26th May, 2015 the invoice of which I've attached below. It covered damages and expenses for my Yu Yureka mobile upto Rs. 8999/-
                                      My phone fell of my hand and the screen got damaged, and on the same day I raised a claim request with one assist on 31st March, 2016. They picked up the phone from my place and after a month asked me to pay Rs. 305 as processing fees. I paid the fees on 28th April, 2016. Ever since I've been calling them for various reasons but there hasn't been a resolution. When they take the claim, they take the photographs of the damaged handset along with the registered IMEI number of the device. On 27th June, 2016 after 3 months they sent me a phone and to my surprise it wasn't my phone. Firstly, they had sent me a refurbished phone which was 5 months older than the manufacturing date of my phone. It was a used phone of someone else. Second, it wasn't my phone as the IMEI numbers were completely different. And thirdly the phone was not in proper working condition, it would get switched off in 5 minutes. So after 3 months they sent me a used defective phone and said that's what they got repaired. Ever since 27th June till today I've been trying to get in touch with them to take back this defective phone and give back my phone by repairing its screen damage. They don't respond to emails and when called they keep saying the query will be resolved in 48 hours. This is complete cheating and such fraud companies should not be allowed to function in our country. They are making money by providing nothing to the customers. And they don't answer the customers either. Its been 5 months now and I'm yet to get a resolution. I don't know when I'll get my phone back.

                                      I bought the insurance for Rs. 395 and I also paid processing Fees of Rs. 305. So I've already paid 700 Rs to them without getting anything.
                                      I waited for a month but then I had to buy a new phone because of this long delay.

                                      My resolution is simple. I want my phone the one that I gave for repair, repaired properly and fast. If the company can't do that, my insurance was upto Rs. 8999/-, ask them to return the full insurance money. They are not accountable, they are providing no service whatsoever.

                                        Called the company for damage claim on 11th july, my phone was picked on 21st july. I requested for courtesy handset for 4 times, they closed the request for no reason without informing me. The last time i requested for the courtesy handset was 12th aug, i talked to one of the senior named sanchit sawant. He told me that he has raised the request again and that i will receive the courtesy handset on wednesday i. E 17th aug. Today i called them for more than 10 times and everytime they kept me on hold and did not give me any update on my courtesy handset. I called on [protected] and the person told me that sanchit sawant will call me in 15mins. Yet no call or update from them. Experiencing poorest service from them. I'm going to lodge a police complaint against oneassist now since none of the customer helpline people are helping me.
