I have replaced the battery for my one plus two cell phone as advised by the service personnel reason it takes 12 hrs to recharge and drains quickly. The same continues evn after replacemnt of battery. I again approached the centde and this time they informed charger defective. I tried with many equivalent chargers the result is ithe same.. Ihave spent 1450 for replacement and shuttled 3 times for this reason at my old age. Pl spel out the remedies

    Hi all,

    I also became one of the victim of oneplus5 marketing gimmick.

    In our country, india the laws are so liberal that, any tom dick and harry from china can come and cheat us (Indians) with their marketing stunts.

    I bought a new oneplus5 phone via amazon around 2 or 3 months back.
    From the fifth day of my purchase, i am complaining and chasing these oneplus guys that the phone have lot and lot of issues.
    Even i tried amazon website to return or refund the phone on 7th day of purchase, but the option of return or refund wasn't there. Amazon is going hand in hand with companies like oneplus in this big cheat. When i reported this to oneplus, they said since it is purchased via amazon, we can't refund or replace.in second hand, its exclusively sold only on amazon.

    I did several tweets to the support team of oneplus, but there was no solution. I also tweeted to their founder, but they were least bothered to respond as they knew that they are up to cheat indians here.

    The phone heats up to 72 degree (28 degree less then the boiling temperature). When i reported this to oneplus team, they said its usual. I did send them the screen shot of temperature to them on tweeter.

    The battery doesn't last more then 5 to 6 hours, as per their support team even that is usual. The contacts works slow, slower then a 20 year old system.

    I am ready to give away my phone to any of the companies to test and sue them on court. I request our government to make strict rules so that such companies from china don't come here to cheat us. I am fine if anyone want to forward this mail or paste it in social media, so that other buyers become aware.

    I paid rs 32, 999 and in less then 90 days, i had to format the phone 4 times. Oneplus have been sending some cheap updates, good for nothing, every week. And all these doesn't help at all. I feel i am the guinea-pig that too after paying rs 32, 999 to these cheater.

    Is bureau of indian standards doing their bit to check their specifications and how these companies are pricing their products in india?

      I bought this device in the month of may and it is within warranty. The phone was working fine but suddenly when i was in an open and sunny area, the phone started to over heat and got dead. There seem to a dent on the back side of device because of heating or manufacturing defect and the front screen popped out. Customer support refused to repair the device under warranty claiming it to be a physical damage. Further there is no physical impact on the front screen or scratch any where in the device, suggesting company's claim is false and they are just avoiding repair cost.

        I have purchased mobile on amazon in aug 2017 my mobile is not getting voice when phone come and also when outgoing call we done some time come and atomatic voice not come after some time so problem is coming from september and i have also confirm to amazon about this but still no reply as come i have told them to replace my mobile and give new proper working mobile so reister my compliant as early as possible.

        I have purchased my oneplus 3t in April and since last two days it is not switching on not even charging. just showing the message that bettery is too low please charge or device temperature is too low not able to charge.

        what the hell this device is.
        Please provide some solution.

          I had sent the following mail on 7th Nov to customer care of OnePlus.
          Dear One Plus,

          This is something with great disappointment from your Oneplus 3T user. After being recommended to buy One Plus which turned out to be the greatest mistake of all time with never ending issues and no solutions to it. This is to inform you that I have purchased One Plus 3T on 6 th June 2017 which is not even 5 months till date and the issues which I am facing with the phone makes it very much easy to dump it.

          Long story Long!

          Problem No. 1 –

          Just after my purchase I am facing power issues where my battery used to get drained, hence required minimum 3 charge in a day. Reaching out to your One Plus store at Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra I was given a battery replacement as the phone is under warranty. Well I was very confident of the phone that it won’t work as the lags were very nicely covered in the price paid to purchase this brick.

          Problem No. 2 –

          Just as expected the phone stopped getting charged turned out to be a charger issue. Again visited one plus store at Thane, Mumbai, Maharashtra where they simply refused to replace the charger as it was working perfectly according to them which I believe it should work according to me. ISSUE UNRESOLVED!

          Problem No. 3 –

          Touch stopped getting recognized as well the fingerprint button phone needs manual unlocking most of the time. ISSUE UNRESOLVED!.

          Problem No. 4 –

          It hangs most of the time in the middle of some important work, and being a teacher my most of the work is carried out on phone where I store my data which I never got to back up because of these issues and one plus kept on formatting my phone resulting in loss of data. ISSUE UNRESOLVED!

          I stay at a minimum distance of minimum 2hrs travel from my home to service centre and I have to visit your service centre almost twice a week leaving my work because one plus has always failed to resolve my complaints resulting in waste of time and energy of which one plus is least bothered.

          I do not need a repair nor do I need any assistance because this wont solve any of problem from oneplus I humbly request you to kindly refund my money or replace the phone with a new one as soon as possible.

          Awaiting your response on immediate basis!

            First impressions with the one plus 3t were pretty good. The phone's screen was awesome and the battery was incredible! I was really enjoying the phone. But then shortly after that, the problems started coming in within 6 month. I observed that bottom portion of the mobile display was not supporting while writing message. I was not able to scroll youtube videos at that portion of the mobile display. Day by day, performance of the mobile is degraded & finally mobile got locked itself and i couldn't able to unlock the pattern because of the display issue. When i visited to nearest service station, the person told me it is the common issue and need to replaced it's mobile screen. I suggest you that think twice before purchase this mobile phone.

              I have been a big fan of one plus since its first ever launch.
              Recently i have been using one plus 5 but somehow my phone got slipped from my hand and its glass got broken.
              This is the 2nd encounter when one plus phone's glass screen broke.
              May be its not so sturdy or what.. Please help!!
              I[censored] guys want i can send the photos of the broken phone screens.. That too new ones: (

                I have visited one plus service centre at kormangala service station bangalore on 28th september 2017 and informed them regarding charging is not happening, they told service centre has no one plus one battery to verify the issue, then made to wait for almost 2months to get the battery and now they saying problem is with motherboard not the battery, when i told them to replace they told the company has stopped production of one plus one service products. Now they are saying to take back the mobile with out service as one plus one products are not available.

                After waiting for almost 2 months they are telling now regarding unavailability and stop of one plus one mobile parts.

                What kind of service they are providing, how can the service center does not have battery to check the issues.

                Y they not did diagnosis when i gave mobile for service, it almost took 2months for diagnosis only.

                Guys plz don't buy one plus one..

                As the service is not good but worst.

                  I purchased a new oneplus 5o f 128gb from their authorised shop in select city walk, new delhi dtd. 10/9/2017. I paid in cash and hv their invoice.

                  At the time of purchased i was confirmed that they do hv a service center at faridabad, which is my city.
                  They also confirmed that if i am not satisfied i can get full refund or mobile replacement within 10 days of complaint.

                  I lodged written online complaint with oneplus website on 16/9/17 of following major issues:
                  1. Hotspot is not working with laptop.
                  2. Battery drains out within 2-3 hours o[censored]se - screen shots of the battery option emailed,
                  3. Mobile hangs specially when i open contacts or sms for more than 30-35 seconds - of which i also showed the screen recording.
                  4. Service centre is not in faridabad, as was assured.

                  They emailed me some todo to correct the problem. I did as told but no use. They told me to visit their service centre at gurgaon. I did, but they said since i am using jio the battery will obviously drain out!! And they cant do anything. For other problems they had no answer. Also they refused to replace it.

                  Till now they just write emails with false assurances and passing out time.

                  I have sent them a legal notice on email. But they say, that they regret the inconvenience and are escalting the complaint to hgher level.
                  Still no use.

                  Hi this is krishna, I submitted my oneplus 5 mobile for screen replacement(soft gold) in bangalore (kormangla) service centre. they said they don't have white screen, place an order the process would be completed in 3 days. But it is completed 4days now they said it would take 4days more. It was Ridiculous and poor servicing. :-(
                  Oneplus 3T Some place of keyboard is not working properly...it's been only one month of purchase. I want a solution for this bad quality.

                    I have bought oneplus 5 new mobile on 26-sep and i have faced mobile display issue (Display not completely working) on 11-oct (15 days from delivery) and the same i have handed over my new mobile at chennai egmore oneplus service center. I have requested to replace new mobile instead of display issue mobile, however they didn't accepted to replace it and they committed to rectify the error with in 2 days. By the time i have discuss with oneplus customer support and they have word with service center excutive to do me a favour to replace the mobile with in 2 days. But now they are telling that they will replace only the display and it will take 7-10 working days. So i have bought new mobile with paid of full cash and mobile got issue because of company not given good quality of mobile. For which customer me has to wait 7-10 days which should not accept it. I never seen such worst company and worst customer support.

                      I have purchased mobile - one plus 5 amounting rs.37, 999.00, imei no.[protected] through order no.[protected] dated[protected] from amazon.in which was sold and dispatched by darshita aashiyana pvt. Ltd. Thiruvalluar, tamilnadu, india (Copy of invoice attached). After purchase i have hardly used the mobile for 3-4 weeks only and there was problem occurred in finger print censor due to which finger print is not working. Mobile is in warranty period as per terms and condition of amazon.in.
                      I have made complain and given my mobile for repairing/replacement to your authorized service center b2x services (Asp) raipur, cg, india complain (Work order) no. 7271 dated 05.10.2017 (Copy of service center customer receipt attached). I have been told by the service center that this problem is due to water locking and they are asking for rs12, 000.00, for repair/replacement of mobile.
                      I have used the mobile only for 3-4 weeks and kept mobile safe and away from water. Also, as per the technical specification of above mentioned mobile shown in your site (Amazon.in) this mobile is water resistance mobile. Whenever i talk to your customer care and service center persons they are not giving any responsible reply and ignoring complains and not solving the problem. I request you to please take necessary action to repair/replacement of my mobile within one week otherwise i don’t have any option left but to take legal action against your company and we will also go to consumer forum for the same.
                      Considering the reputation of your company and being a regular customer of your company i have not taken any legal action till date but due to the problem which i am facing and due to irresponsible replies and non co-opration at your customer care and service center, now i have the only choice left is to take legal action against your company and to go to consumer forum against your company. Further, i will also post and share about this bad shopping & post sale service experience of buying mobile from amazon.in in various types of social media and print media which can be very damaging to your company’s reputation and sales.

                      Please consider my complain on priority basis and repair/replace my mobile as soon as possible.

                      I bought a new phone 2months back and since day 5, I am chasing you guys that the phone have lot and lot of issues. It heats up as if it may blast anytime. The battery doesn't last more then 5 to 6 hours, the contacts works slow, slower then a 20 year old system. If it is not taken seriously, I will lodge a serious complaint in court.

                        Hi,

                        I raised an complaint regarding my one plus 5 burnt issue. When i contacted support team, they asked me to submit my burnt device to service center. After submitting, they are telling it is not burnt. I have seen it directly while smoke was coming from that device. Service center people are trying to hide their brand fault.
                        20 days before only i bought the device.. I should frankly say that it was very pathetic customer support that i got.. Irritated... They made me waiting for the past 1 week without providing any correct resolution. Finally they are refusing to give replacement. Please help to get good solution

                          I purchased oneplus5 grey from oneplus5 official website, i checked with oneplus support guys through chat and they confirmed that the delivery will happen in 1-4 business days and than only i placed the order, but now its more than 8 days and i haven't heard anything.

                          I can check the tacking that the product is reached to my city in just two days and since than it is sitting in the ware house and bluedart havent posted any further update.
                          When i try to call them, it says invalid number which is posted on bluedart website and i have sent three emails to them still no reply.

                          When i chase with oneplus support guys they just say please be rest assured the package will be delivered soon and this is the same sentence they have been using it since 4 days.

                          When i asked them to chase with bluedart or escalate them than they didnt do anything and used the same sentence.

                          Now i dont know what to do, i have already paid 33000 and didn't even know what to do.

                          The oneplus support team sucks... Its very unethical that they took my money and i dont have any idea when the delivery will be attempted.

                              I have been using one plus 2 from last almost 2 yrs. Last six to eight months experiencing a typical issue of attachments not visible at the time mail is downloaded. It shows after many refreshments r done again and again. At times it takes few days to actually display the attachment sent with the mail by the sender.

                              Kindly suggest remedy or will have to stop using this phone.

                                We send series of mail to support.[protected]@oneplus.net. But always received generic mail. The problem begin from very next month of purchase the handset. We sent almost 4 to 5 time communication to one plus. But we never received satisfactory reply. I even mentioned in the mail that it may create physical problem to my ear & health, as i my job required continuous usage of mobile.

                                I am facing continuous heating problem in my phone. For the same i visited twice to service center at phionix mall at kurla. They updated software in my phone also they do os in phone. But still i am facing the same issue. It's very problematic for me as i am in such field that i have to use mobile quiet often. It may create problem to my ear or may any other health related issue.
                                Team, i request you to look into to matter and take necessary action. If i will not get satisfactory action, i have no other choice than to take legal help for the same.

                                  I had recently bought a one plus 5 phone and ordered few accessories on their one plus store and paid almost close to 9000 online. I get an email from one plus that the product got delivered, however it was not delivered to me and i have been calling more than two times every day for last 5 days and these one plus customer care # are not providing any solution. I have even asked for customer grievance redressal process for which they did not had any update, neither their website has an update.

                                  I will wait for this week and if i do not get my. One back, i will file a case on one plus in district consumer council and see to that one plus pays for the damage for me and also never ever dares to cheat customers.

                                  I think my dash charging isn't working. The USB charging port has become loose and maybe that's why it's not working

                                    I ordered oneplus 5 device in http://oneplusstore.in with order #ops[protected] on aug 23, 2017

                                    The product delivered was defective, like it has scratches and paint came off at many part on the phone. I called the customer support and raise request #1421716. They asked me to send photos. Later they asked me to take it to service center. But as i'm far away from service center they asked me to reship the device to them in my own cost. Rma #sers[protected]

                                    This is frustrating service i ever found with an online purchase. Mostly they have to pick up the product or arrange the return pickup but instead they asked me to send it back with my own money. However i sent it back with cost of rs.1500.

                                    Now the person name asif called me back and said they can't replace or refund the product as it seems not an manufacturing defect instead they saying its my fault like device dropped or damaged. This was the defect from their side as if found the scratches as soon as i opened the box.

                                    When i argued ans asked for escalation, the support person simply saying i can't escalate any further and he is the last person i can talk to. Further he said, he simply called me to inform they can't refund or replace and they're sending back the same device. I need refund/replace for this product.

                                    There is no escalation contact for oneplus, beware all of you who purchase from oneplus.

                                    This is really frustrating experience i ever had in online purchasing. Good product is 2nd priority. First you oneplus people should provide good support to your customers.

                                    Don't ever purchase anything from oneplus.

                                      Hi,

                                      i visit to Service center of Oneplus at Noida on 07-Sep-17 when i realized that my phone got dead.

                                      Purchase date was 08-April-2017.

                                      They ask for 400 INR as diagnosis charges and not considering it as warranty product because they are saying phone got dipped into water and warranty has been lapsed.

                                      at that time i was in hurry and i paid 400 to secure my phone but after some time they told me that Your phone got dipped into water and you need to change your Motherboard and it will cost around 17000, i don't know what they have done inside the room with my phone and i have serious doubt on them as they have change something.

                                      sooner i will file a case against them and drag them in consumer court with heavy compensation.

                                      i have uploaded all relevant document for there cross verification.

                                      Also don't forget to check they have given me handwritten bill(Kachha Bill) without GST no. mention on it, which is also a crime.

                                        I bought this oneplus one an year ago and post 9 months its lcd display became nonfunctional. Due to lack of time i could not visit the service center to get it fixed when it was under warranty period, hoping to do that sometime later.
                                        Now when i visited the service center, the folks at the desk say oneplus has stopped providing support to oneplus one spare parts and that now can not be done anything against my concern.
                                        With this statement, i completely lost trust for this company and shall not buy anything that is a part of it and would also suggest others not to go for it.
                                        My phone which is otherwise good has just gone paralyzed because oneplus has stopped manufacturing spare parts for oneplus one and now can not be done anything about it. I want to know where should one seek assistance if the company itself denies for any support.
