Since my dad got it in september, calls keep dropping and it keeps saying "cellular network not available." i've sent it to the service center five or six times, they reformatted the phone a few times but to no avail. They changed the motherboard last month (Or so they said) but no improvement. I sent it again last week, they changed some wire, but even now it isn't working. This was a week ago, so i called customer care and was told to go to the service center again, i refused and asked to talk to a superior, i was refused and then i got angry so they let me talk to a superior (Asif), who told me that i should create a ticket on the website and that i would receive a call within 24 hours. I have a recording of this call, fyi. This happened at 11 am on thursday. Since then, i have received no communication. I sent another e-mail, nothing. I just called customer care again, and was again told that i'll receive a call back. Still waiting.
I understand that sometimes these things happen with phones, but then they should compensate for the grievance caused. At each level they keep referring me to someone else, then saying that i'll get a call back, then they don't call back and i have to call again, then saying i have to visit the service center. Aside from the large number of hours i've wasted on the phone, and sending the phone to the service center in saket repeatedly, my dad has spent many days without a phone. Nine months of ownership and only fleeting moments of being able to use it as an actual calling device. I feel like they're just trying to run out the warranty.
