Dear Team @ OnePlus India,
I am a patron of OnePlus and have been using OnePlus 2, OnePlus 3 and now OnePlus 5. I have never faced any problem all these years. I even purchased extended warranty for OnePlus 2 and OnePlus 3 and now for OnePlus 5. However, recently I found that when I tried to put the phone (OnePlus 3) on silent mode, it wasn't working. I took my phone to Servify Service Center (B2X), at North-Ex Mall, Prashant Vihar, and showed it to them. I had also shown how well kept my mobile was and immaculately scratch less. They (Pinky) acknowledged and asked me to wait meanwhile they would resolve the issue. They took my mobile and returned it to me after about an hour stating that the issue was resolved. However when I saw my mobile it had scratches around the button used for turning the phone silent as well as scratches on the screen. It was immediately pointed out to the same employee, Pinky. However they tried to instead play blame game and became rude and said that if I or any client ever want our phones to be set right by the company then we should be ready to accept the scratches on our phones and the phones will get scratched as they get repaired and it is a miniscule thing to raise objection upon. They have even put scratches all over the screen probably by rubbing it keeping the screen upside down. The same has been given in my comments on the bill that I had submitted with the service centre and a copy of the same is sent real time on Twitter and is also attached with this complaint. This is so annoying for a person like me who ensures that his belongings are kept immaculate and the same can be seen the way I have my other mobile phones from Samsung Note 4&5, S7 edge, S8+, iPhone 6, iPhone7 etc. Being a patron, I am astonished at the callous conduct the service centre and the owner Mr. Ashwani, whom when I bought this manhandling of the handset in notice, told me that I must have told Pinky in English to take notice of my phone’s immaculate condition, a language which she could not understand.
Hence, in view of above, I appreciate an action and a suitable compensation against the harassment I have faced. Frankly, looking at the handset condition now, I don’t feel like holding it in my hand, It’s made that worst and scratched.
