⚠️ OnePlus SCAM⚠️
I have OnePlus Nord which was showing green line issue on the display after software update and OnePlus said they are doing free service if there is no physical damage or water should not affect hardware. It's fine.
I bought the phone around august-2020 which they saying warrenty expired and asking me to pay Rs.13k for display change.
There is no physical damage inside and out but they are intentionally refusing to do free service.
It's a software update issue made the green line issue. They saying the green line issue happened only for OnePlus 8 and 9 series models.
But this OnePlus Nord released on same year where OnePlus 8 series released.
They are refusing for do this free service which make user to pay heavy amount and building their empire.
It's chinese smartphone please make a note.
I was not aware of this green line issue for OnePlus phone before. If I knew this before, wouldn't update itself.

    I bought a OnePlus TV (Y Series 108 cm 43 inches Full HD LED Smart
    Android TV) in October 2020 and since then I have been suffering with this substandard product.
    Within a couple of months black patches started to appear on the display screen.
    It was reported to the call centre and after lots of follow-ups the service technician visited and said the entire display panel will have to be replaced. Since the same was not available, we were asked to wait. I insisted on the replacement of product which they denied.
    After waiting for 3 months the panel was replaced.

    For the second time, the similar kind of patches started to develop within a week’s time of panel replacement and when reported -they said the same will get resolved after a few days of product usage.

    When the problem persisted, we once again registered our complaint to the call centre and asked them to take back their product and refund our money. They requested us to allow them to repair for the last time and if the problem re-occurred then they would make a refund. Once again we had to wait for 5 months for the panel replacement - all this while I had made unlimited calls to the service centre/call centre and could not use the product as the picture was not visible.

    For the third time - somewhere in August 2023 (with 3 month’s warranty remaining), the display suddenly developed hazy lines on the entire screen. The matter was reported and had to wait for 20 days for the local engineer to visit us and declare that the TV had to be replaced. Fed-up with the product and their services I asked the Call centre to refund my money.

    Now it is March 2023, and I have been following it up with Call Centre (have spoken to 20-25 different Call centre executives, written multiple mails requesting them to resolve my problem but every time I get a new person to talk to and narrate the entire incident again and again and again and again and again… Each time I talked to the call centre people, I got a standard reply – “your case has been reported to our seniors and they will respond in 2-3 working days.” No senior till date has responded to my emails where I have been requesting them to call me back.

    Have written mails to them and in return have only got assurances / automated mail reply / copy & paste reply but no solution. Their service centre people are the most unprofessional, the most unorganised and mean people.

    After making 15 odd calls to the call centre they agreed on taking back the TV and provide me with an online voucher purchase a new Oneplus TV. When I did not get my voucher I again enquired with the Call centre; I was told that I would receive the said voucher only when the TV will be picked-up from my residence for which I need to wait for 2 days. Since last 3 months I have been requesting them to pick up my TV but the same has not happened.

    Suddenly in the 3rd week of February I received a call from the local service centre informing me that I will not be getting a voucher but the company has agreed to change the panel.
    It came as a shock to me – After waiting for 7 months and being promised from last 3 months they have refused to give me a voucher.
    Since then I have been writing to the customer care and asking them to talk to me but have got no response.

    Following are My Questions to the Oneplus Management Team,

    1. Why offering me a change of TV Panel when I have been promised a voucher for a new purchase against your faulty product?
    2. Why should I not get a refund when the product was literally remained unused for more than 1 year due to your substandard quality and service?
    3. Why No senior official from Oneplus is not talking to me when I have been raising this request with your call Centre officer?
    4. Why even after waiting patiently for 7 months, My problem is still unresolved?
    5. After talking to 22 different people on your call center I have got no satisfactory solution from your call center team. No response from senior people then suggest me what should I do next???
    6. Why your call centre refuses to provide email addresses / contact numbers of the Senior people when they themselves are not able to get the problem resolved?
    7. What option do the Consumers have beyond contacting the call centre or writing to the Customer Care?

        I have ordered the TV in Jan 2022 and the display is damaged now after one year completion.The product is still under warranty but the issue is resolved even after 1 month post i raised the complaint.

        One technician visited our house and took photo and went after that no update from him. I called Customer service almost 7 to 8 times and each time they give different different story. So absolutely no resolution till date.

          Hi All,
          I placed the order of oneplus 11 by trusting that oneplus will deliver the product ontime in oneplus.in stores site with an order number M[protected] initially it was said that order will be delivered by 20th of feb, later on 20th they asked to be paitenance till 24th and order will be delivered, but now again they are asking to wait till 27th feb.

          I have paid the money on the very first day of order, if they are not able to deliver at least they should have a curtesy to update the customer, and they don't even have the escalation matrix for customers, if they dont have stock they would been stopped selling in oneplus store.

            My order No M[protected] in the name of Paramjeet Singh was ordered on 19th Feb and the Blue Dart buy came on 20th with the mobile set however he could not download a particular app on my old phone kept for exchange and hence taken back the Oneplus mobile. His name is Narender Yadav and the contact number is [protected]. When I contact him he said we have returned the courier back. Till then there is no revert from any one including refund of my amount of Rs. 36619.

              I've been facing green line issue from last 4 days and I've been contacting the near by centre. They told me to visit and after a while they're denying to solve my problem because there are glass dent which wasn't true. A slight nail scratch can't be called as dent problem. And every one plus users knows that the green line issues were by company and almost everyone had done without any cost. Please look into my matter immediately.

                  I have Purchased (television) One plus android tv in 20 January 2022 But I have used these product only 11 month & display will not to be working conditions,
                  so I have many times call cutomer care & talk to agent but did not have any types of help & he was says change your product next 7 working days ...
                  & one plus center agent was pickup my television since 20 DEC 2022 & they did not change & repaired my products ...
                  I have call customer care agent they was says to given the voucher from new products but i have not received any voucher code in my email id ...
                  so kindly requested to you resolved my problem ...

                      Your request to update OS intimation through sent message r making do it the issue occured.

                        I bought OnePlus tv from Amazon.in on the 2nd Feb. 2022 and faced a problem of "Lines on Display". I submitted my complaint to the" OnePlus customer care on 2nd oct 2022. After continued follow up for 3 months the Customer Support team says that the Parts are not available so we will give you a coupon by which you can purchase a new tv from our website and return old tv. All fake promises I had received till now from one plus customer support. Neither my Tv is being replaced or repaired from there so called technicians I'm tired of following up and getting the same response. from 5 months now. My complaint id (IN05104TV[protected]

                        Also, I wish to complaint against One Plus India for causing inconvenience /Harassments and providing pathetic customer service ever!!

                              I use oneplus 8 pro approx 2 year old device but it is running good but oneplus send a update then it gets lines on display i send it to service center they say to pai amount for display but thus is a software issue by oneplus to out dated phone for selling display unit if device is out of warranty they why oneplus send bugs in software update.in thus whole case where is my fault.i need replacement from oneplus without paying any amount.

                                In mobile calling application like WhatsApp, botim and other app audio and video call issue, for this issue we contact service centre and they didn't give proper answer to us .2 to 3 time we contact for this and they said wait for mobile update version but not give proper solution for this.issue is coming from past 2 months .

                                    I am a one plus user from past 5 years, I bought my second one plus mobile (One plus 9r) on July 2021. However today i noticed a vertical green line on my display. Please note that the phone has not been damaged nor fallen. When i investigated this issue on internet, twitter i found that i am not the only one experiencing this issue, it has come to my notice that the all those who have complained about this issue to one plus service center they have denied doing it free of cost stating this as a hardware issue, however please note that this hardware issue is caused due to software bug and one plus needs to take the whole responsibility of this issue and resolve this by giving free display replacement even if the warranty period has expired as there coding in new updated has blown the display.

                                    They are scaming the complaints by telling the forum that this is an hardware issue but they have actually caused this issue due to their updated firmware. Please help me with this issue and company like one plus needs to be punished for looting peoples hard earned money.

                                      I need replacement for my mobile oneplus 8T. Oneplus company cheated me by giving their faulty product and faulty software update.

                                      Sir, I purchased a new oneplus 8T mobile worth Rs. 42999 on 16/10/2020 . Together I bought their extended warranty with Red Cable Pro Life plan worth Rs. 1999. My device ( Oneplus 8T) is still under their life plan warranty till 13/02/2023.

                                      When my device have just completed one year, their official Android 12 update came and I did it. Soon after my device's display got a green line from top to bottom, without any phisical damage. They aren't providing warranty repair service in Kerala after one year of purchase. So as per their extended warranty policy they picked up my mobile to Bangalore service centre from Kerala, to repair the display ( Reference ID- NIAEUICRUJMP). It took one week to get back my repaired mobile.

                                      But now again, after their Android 13 update, my device's display got the same green line problem. This time also I registered a complaint on 05/01/2013 ( Reference ID- 7HDHKBO7IOQI) and they picked up my mobile to their Bangalore service centre. Now it's 25 days covered after I registered the complaint . The device reached their service centre on 16/01/2023. When I called their customer care and they told, they are diagnosing the device. Till now They didn't do anything to repair the device.

                                      This is really cheating. I paid a huge amount (Rs.42999 + 1999) for buying a good branded mobile. But within 2 years time the mobile has got severe display problem only due to Oneplus company's software update. Also I waited more than one and half month to get back my device in both cases and still waiting. During the service period they didn't provide any substitute device to use, so I'm struggling a lot in doing my office works and day-to-day activities.

                                      I directly contacted their customer care service and they are always telling some excuses to keep my mobile in their custody. This shows Oneplus company's irresponsibility and poor consumer support. In my research I found, 80% of Oneplus 8T mobile have same display problem after their software update and the company didn't recall any Oneplus 8 series devices or replaced with their other non complaint models.

                                      So, I need replacement for my Oneplus 8T with their another non complaint model - Oneplus 10T. Otherwise I need my money back.

                                      I have the same exact issue with my oneplus 8, and they asked me to pay for the display, this is purely a scam.
                                      The Indian law should do something to help the customer, give us the money back or a device that works with latest Android version as they promised us minimum 4 years of android updates.

                                      This is really bad when we are all working so closely with mobile phone. I have no faith in one plus anymore with bank transaction to Having wallet backups, I lost not only money, my device, my wallets Death of a good brand I believe since 2017.
                                      Please let me know if anything can be done.
