I need replacement for my mobile oneplus 8T. Oneplus company cheated me by giving their faulty product and faulty software update.

Sir, I purchased a new oneplus 8T mobile worth Rs. 42999 on 16/10/2020 . Together I bought their extended warranty with Red Cable Pro Life plan worth Rs. 1999. My device ( Oneplus 8T) is still under their life plan warranty till 13/02/2023.

When my device have just completed one year, their official Android 12 update came and I did it. Soon after my device's display got a green line from top to bottom, without any phisical damage. They aren't providing warranty repair service in Kerala after one year of purchase. So as per their extended warranty policy they picked up my mobile to Bangalore service centre from Kerala, to repair the display ( Reference ID- NIAEUICRUJMP). It took one week to get back my repaired mobile.

But now again, after their Android 13 update, my device's display got the same green line problem. This time also I registered a complaint on 05/01/2013 ( Reference ID- 7HDHKBO7IOQI) and they picked up my mobile to their Bangalore service centre. Now it's 25 days covered after I registered the complaint . The device reached their service centre on 16/01/2023. When I called their customer care and they told, they are diagnosing the device. Till now They didn't do anything to repair the device.

This is really cheating. I paid a huge amount (Rs.42999 + 1999) for buying a good branded mobile. But within 2 years time the mobile has got severe display problem only due to Oneplus company's software update. Also I waited more than one and half month to get back my device in both cases and still waiting. During the service period they didn't provide any substitute device to use, so I'm struggling a lot in doing my office works and day-to-day activities.

I directly contacted their customer care service and they are always telling some excuses to keep my mobile in their custody. This shows Oneplus company's irresponsibility and poor consumer support. In my research I found, 80% of Oneplus 8T mobile have same display problem after their software update and the company didn't recall any Oneplus 8 series devices or replaced with their other non complaint models.

So, I need replacement for my Oneplus 8T with their another non complaint model - Oneplus 10T. Otherwise I need my money back.

Sir,
I have the same exact issue with my oneplus 8, and they asked me to pay for the display, this is purely a scam.
The Indian law should do something to help the customer, give us the money back or a device that works with latest Android version as they promised us minimum 4 years of android updates.

This is really bad when we are all working so closely with mobile phone. I have no faith in one plus anymore with bank transaction to Having wallet backups, I lost not only money, my device, my wallets Death of a good brand I believe since 2017.
Please let me know if anything can be done.

    Since December 2022 i am trying to log this issue and finally Issue was raised on Case ID:[protected] jan 2023 and whenever i speak with your team they reply again wait for 7-10 working days sometimes 3-4 days now again you have asked me to wait 7-10 days. Please can you tell me when 7-10 days ends or this is forever.

    1) Where is the part ?
    2) What is your SLA to fix an issue ?
    3) Why do you keep extending the date if don't have part why you, instead of giving solution ?
    4) Why can't you replace TV if you don't have the part?

          Dear team,

          Kindly helpvme to get resolved.

          I have purchased new mobile on 02.01.2023. And having hanging problem and screen not appearing in next day.

          I have told the same thing to Porvika shop they advised me to update the sofware snd the same i have done. But again problem arises on 8th day of mobile purchased. Then i have requsted poorvika shop gor replacement of same. But poorvika team suggested me to visit service center. I have done the same thing.

          In service center mobile reseted and given to me. Then when i have updated mobile with oxygen 8.1 again same problem facing, means mobile hanging, screen not appearing and switching off itself.

          So as problem araises 1st time on second day, 2nd time on eight day and 3rd time on 16th day, problem is with new mobile only and it is defective mobile, and above all happens in first 15 days only, so kindly help me to get replacement of defective mobile.

            I have updated OxygenOS 13. after updating I had green line on display.
            I went to OnePlus service centre near me. Straight away they said that you have out of warranty so we cannot to anything. Then I was contact OnePlus Care and I sent to my mobile to them for diagnosis and repair. Next day They called me and asked for replacement charges arround 16K. This is not fault from my side of software updation. It's clearly brand problem. Please help me out as soon as possible

              I have bought a one plus y1s 40inch tv which had 1 year of warranty coverage and additional 1 year panel warrenty. It started showing display issues on 15 dec 2022, and service team checked and raised a ticket for replacement. Even though TV was picked up on 4th Jan 2023, no response from the oneplus india to replacement of TV for 20 days

                I got a green line in the display of my oneplus 8 pro after software update. I enquired with the service centre and they told I need to pay for screen replacement. There is no physical damage caused by me, the display went bad only after sodtware update, which I got to know happened to so may other oneplus users. Therefore my replacement should be free, which the company refused. I am disappointed at the service I received. Kindly I request Oneplus India to look into matter and place an order for free screen replacement as soon as possible.

                  This is one of the biggest scam done by oneplus. Due to their software, our hardware got affected and they are giving some crappy reasons about their policies and won't rectify our problems. How can we spend 16k for display for the mistake wat they did? This should be taken immediate action and all the one plus should be repaired for free of cost who are all facing this issue

                      I have updated my oneplus 8 mobile to Android 13 recomended by oneplus. after the updation a slight line appeared on my screen and it suddenly got worse and my display damaged completely. i've contacted customer care and they told me if i send my phone to oneplus service center they will repair it for free even the phone is out of limited warranty (which my device is) and is free of physical damage. so i sent my phone to oneplus service center using their pick up and drop service. when i gave them my phone it was completely free of any scratches or physical or any other damages. now they have contacted me saying the service will cost about RS 14000 because they say my device has physical damage (which wasn't there when i gave them).

                        I bought OnePlus buds pro on Amazon by April 2022. Recently my buds pro right ear piece not working properly. Battery drained soon and mic not working.
                        I went to authorised service centre Madurai today. They received my product. Later they told warranty replacement not available due minior scratches. There is no visible dent or scratches.
                        I am really disappointed with the after sales service and customer support.

                          I bought the OnePlus Buds Z and after one year it's totally non repairable and when asked to got it repair they ask to throw the product away. It's totally unacceptable.

                            Bought oneplus 10R mobile at sangeetha mobiles on 07/01/2023. After a day o[censored]se the mobile restarts automatically. hand overded at oneplus store on 10/01/2023. They said this mobile has an issue at the time of manufacture we will replace it with in 3 days. upto now i.e., 10/01/2023 they didint replace it. please slove my problem as early as possible.

                              30000 Rs phone one handed any very less use still phone display has been stopped working diagnosis done told that it has happened due to liquid damage and because of pressure on phone I would like to know what kind of pressure first time I thought might be something has happened same I thought to change display many of my colleague suggested to change from local market but I have changed it from authorised service centre after paying huge amount 10563 Rs but after just 3.5 months same issue with phone and same answer no cracks on display even not even single scratch on phone body and answer given by technician that phone has been dropped with very huge pressure how practically that can possible without even single scratch on both display, no hard scratch even on screen guard it's phone Nord series issue but they didn't want to accept as I am OnePlus user from last 7 years with OnePlus 3 then OnePlus 5 and currently OnePlus 8 no issues with these phone but I buyied Nord for wife and worst service and performance in life henceforth I will never buy any OnePlus device nor I will suggest anyone for the same prior to OnePlus 3 I was iPhone user and stopped with iPhone 4S but I think that was my huge mistake henceforth I will continue with iPhone series Now I understand what is premium and I have very good experience with iPhone Aftersales service, they don't treat and misbehave people like OnePlus.

                              Now My harden 40000 Rs money today are worthless with a zero value.

                                In the month of October 2022, I received a notification regarding system update on my phone which is very usual.
                                Therefore I updated my phone on that day like I always did assuming that the phone will get optimized thereafter. But surprisingly, as soon as I switched on my mobile phone after the update was done successfully, there was a vertical green ledger line visible on the screen of my phone which never appeared before, except for this time after the update.
                                I tried to resolve the issue by restarting/rebooting the phone several times but the issue didn’t resolve. Furthermore, when I researched about the issue I came to know that the android cell phones of your company are facing the same trouble because of the update.
                                I later approached your service center located at LG-S-40/41/42/43 & 44, Seawoods Grand Central Mall, Plot bearing No. R-1 in Sector 40 Node Nerul, Seawoods Railway Station, Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra 400706, to state my grievance regarding the mobile phone, where I narrated everything to claim the service as the trouble/issue arisen was companies default. But the service center was extremely non-reciprocal towards me and denied to repair the defect that occurred in the mobile phone by stating the reason that the service center doesn’t have the policy to repair the product i.e. mobile phone model name 1+ 7 pro and that the service center had never received any complaint related to the said mobile phone model name 1+ 7 pro ever from any client in or across the area, therefore the service center won’t offer any service to me as per the terms and policies of the service center.
