I purchase onida washing machine on 19/07/2008 from Next retail shop in BOPAL and my miseries began.I do not want to write long list of problems but the latest one is as follows.
My washing motor was replaced by them on chargeable basis on 28/03/2011 by Mr R Pathak with cash memo no 11166 with a verbal guarantee for one year. On 05/08/2011 the motor stopped working and I lodged complain no [protected] on 06/11/2011 but even on this day they are giving lame excuses as heavy rain house was locked technician is busy etc and call centre already declares complaint as closed because the technician bluffs that house was locked .My point is why can he not give me a missed call if onida company does not pay him enough?
I am at a loss on how to solve this problem and what legel action Should I take if at all possible

Further to the complaint dated 16/08//2011 captioned Poorest services in Ahmedabad for Onida Washing Machine, the neglegence has crossed the limit on the part of the service incharge.He arranged a technician and even though the wash motor was replaced by him earlier, he says that the motor under cash memo was not wash motor but spin motor!! The condition of the motor itself can establish that it is just like new one but they are not budging. iI had no choice but to enqire for WASH MOTOR.He told me that he will inform me if available and there no guarantee for the new motor even if available. I wated for his call and phoned him 3 times unanswered and lastly he cut the call.I had no choce but to give the repair work to outside party who promptly visited us and are attending.I would request the management of ONIDA to look into the matter immediately and adrress my complaint otherwise I will have to take other recourse including COMPLAINING IN THE LOCAL DAILY.

I totally agree with you. I have a hydroshakthi which is dead for past 3 weeks. Raised complaint and no response.
Really frustrating.
Never ever buy an Onida product again.
Need to do something against this company

    Not rectifying my TV complaint since, a month gone.
    Before month my TV got complaint i asked service centre to repair it they told we will charge RS=450- for service we said ok they repaired it charged RS=815-[service chrg.rs=450,spare part chrg.rs=365-] & TV was on after a few minutes again tv got the same problem. we called them said the complaint, again he done & again got the same complaint.we coplained them again they said you bring theTV to our service centre after an observation of two days you can take it. then we have sent them to their ser.centre. after two days they have not replied 7 days gone but no reply.On the 8th day they are saying the spare partLOT EF22504 is not getting from the company so, we have to change the BOARD & board cost is around RS=5000-.
    The spare cost may be around RS=300-400 for that how we change the BOARD whouse cost is around RS=5000-
    For that i complained to the andhra pradesh ONIDA serv. centre they have given me the compl.no:[protected] on 5th of this month they told we will rectify it within 3-4days for that 7days gone they are daily saying we are forwarding your complaint still the TV is under repair & it is with the service centre

        Brand New AC giving huge problems, was not installed properly and also now no one is addressing to service and correct my brand new AC
        I had bought a 1 ton ONIDA Window AC model number W112YR from Sachdeva Electronics Chowk CMC Ludhiana making 100% fullpayment through Cash on 02August2011. My AC was installed on 04/August 2011 after chasing the company installation team several times. The AC was wrongly installed resulting in a huge rattling sound, after several complaints and phone calls another technician was sent who tweaked the AC vents and now the AC vents dont open and operate properly and there is huge amount of wated which pours out of the AC, so much so that I need to keep a bucket to collect the water.

        I have tried reaching the ONIDA service centre numbers, the people who installed Mr.Bhanu&Mr.Raj Kumar, and another service head Mr. Mehra, they have continuously ignored my phone and kept their phone switched off. I have even tried calling the ONIDA customer Service number and filed several complaints which has resulted in no action. I tried calling their corporate office but could not get through and now have just gotten fed up with the whole thing.

        My request is to please help me with my AC, have someone attend it and fix it so that I can use it or else replace it with a new AC, same brand same AC

        I am writing hoping that you will be able to reach to the company and so something about it. I have very litle faith in service standards of Indian companies and the whole customer service levels of Indian businesses in general

          I am Shanta Ram Shringi, residing at Rawatbhata near Kota. I had purchaged ONIDA make TV 2 years ago since than it has no complaints since last three months it is not working and complaint for the same lodged at Kta and Jaipur service centres. Representative from Kota service center visited but not able to rectify/attend the problem.I have contacted several times at both places but still problem exits. Pls do needful at earliest.

            Few months back (March), we bought an Onida AC S18TRD3, and they offered 3 free service within one year. So as said I phoned the customer care to book for my service,(2 weeks ago ) and they gave me a reference no: [protected],and said they would reach within 2 working days, but till date they haven’t bothered to come.
            But another interesting thing is that they phoned and said, they would come and asked us what the nature of complaint was, we said it was a free service. Within that word they disconnected the phone. This repeated twice. I phoned regarding the same matter to the customer care, and they promised to come within another 48hrs. Why is it so??? Even today I called them, what to do.
            We could see advertisement about the brand through newspapers, T.V, flex boards, but next time give an underlined statement
            ‘DON’T EXPECT ANY SERVICE AFTER PURCHACE’
            Hope this doesn’t happen to rest of your valuable customers.

              I brought an Onida TV, Xaria LCD in 2008 Oct. From that day onwards it is having problem one or the other.When I complaint, they send a technician, he do something and it will be okay for a while ,then another problem will start. When this process continued I ask them to change the TV and give me a good one, because it cost almost 30,000/-.As a retired person, this is hard for me to keep on renewing warranty and changing things.Now allmost all parts have changed. But still now I am having problem I am fedup of this Tv.From the begning it self I asked them to change TV when problem starts,techician says let we try to sove the problem and they are not able is to fix this Tv's problem.
              Is there any solution for this problem? Can anybody help me.

              My advice to your people is never ever buy an ONIDA TV. Their product and after-sales service is the nasty and worst one. My ONIDA LCD is hanging on my wall within 2 and half years. Its remote had to be changed two times. Now it is 40 days since the Onida technician attended my T.V. still the problem not rectified. They say they have not received panel board from Mumbay, which I am sure, would cost half the price of TV. If you have too much money and instead of throwing it as a waste u can buy this waste of ONIDA TV LCD & LED but otherwise if it is hard earned money you never go for it. It is not only me there are other people who are my friends too is of similar opinion and their finger too burned with this stupid brand.

                I purchased a Onida split AC for my office on 21.7.2011.

                Within 30 minutes of the installation, the AC fan started producing heavy noise. But I had to go out of station and hence I came back on 26.7.2011 and checked that the noise was still on. Therefore, I lodged a complaint with Onida customer care on 26.7.2011 and complaint No. [protected] was assigned.

                It was stated by the cusomer care personnel that the complaint will be attended betweeen 24 hours to 48 hours. But, no one had atteneded the complaint and when I checked with tha Onida customer care it was told that the complaint was closed as "Door Locked".

                It was shocking to know such a lethargic reply since no one had called me while attending the complaint and there was always some junior or clerk available in the office.

                Still, I was told to lodge another complaint and I have lodged complaint No. [protected] on 30.7.2011. But till now no one has attended the complaint. This is poor customer service from Onida.

                  Dear Team,
                  we bought a MICROWAVE OVEN from big bazaar( plot number 59/c kalyaninagar pune) of Onida company on 16/7/2011 (* CASH MEMO NO T48/1191 - ONIDA MK 10M020CJS26S ) and get delivery on 17/7/2011
                  but that particular peace is defected when we check that at home on very next day and file a complaint of it on 20/7/2011 and complaint number is 664 given by onida service centre.
                  They had confirmed that they will replace that but till date they keep postponing it and none is givingthe cofirm anwser . Ashwin from bigbazaar ([protected]) and agency manager Bhujbal ([protected]) both are person to whom we are contacting since 10 days .

                  At big bazar belgaum they are charging money for packing of plastic bags in the name of govt order of envioronment dept which is totally irrrelevent unjustifyable.First of all they are not giving ads in local newspaper like tarun bharat which is widely read in belgaum region about the charging of plastic bags if so they will loose all custemors can anyone from bigbazar will clerify about all this mess?

                    i bought a new onida air conditioner model no: S18SPDS (split AC) & had got it installed by onida guys but with in 4 month my air conditioner has started giving me problem. water is continuously leaking in my bed room when ever AC is switched on moreover walls of my flat are stained due to leakage problem.

                    i have tried contacting onida customer care department people

                    but there landline number is not in service and mobile number is swithed off. what should i do where should i go now???

                      I had purchased an Onida Blu Ray player on 15th May 2011. The blue ray player stopped working on the very first time I used it. Then I registered a complaint with Onida customer care. I had to follow-up with different customer care executive’s number of times. Each time iterating same story from the beginning and still no body showed up for two weeks even to take a look at the issue. After repeated phone calls the customer care closed my initial complaint request and re-registered a new request after two weeks so that way it does not show up as a long pending request. When I asked them to forward the call to their manager I was told that they cannot do that.

                      Now after two and half weeks a service person stopped by and told me that one of the parts of the blu ray player needs to be replaced. I was told it will take 2-3 days to get the new part. I waited for 1 & 1/2 weeks and still no one showed up. When I followed the customer service they had no clue. I called the service agent and he told me that he will make sure I will get the part in next 1-2 days. No doubt he never came back for another week and I had to again follow-up with the service agent and so called Onida service are manager. Both of them did not give me proper answers.

                      I had lost all the hopes when one fine day I got call from Onida customer service care, Mumbai saying that they cannot find the part that needs to be replaced and they will replace my blu ray player in next 2-3 days. As you can imagine its 3 weeks now and still I have not got the replacement. I called the Onida service area manager for Kothrude area and instead of him taking the initiatives he asked me to follow-up with few other people to see if they have the blu ray player in stock to give me replacement. I dont understand why does Onida even has a customer care service when all they are doing is direct you to other person, make you do all the follow-ups, they dont really care about your time and at the end of the day no body take the responsibility and takes any actions to see customer complaints are addressed all the way through. I also filled the same complaint online at onida.com and there also I did not get any response.

                      Its been more than 2 months since I purchsed the system and still not able to use it. On top of that the repeated follow-ups with customer service have been very frustrating and waste of my time. I have alreay burned my finger with Onida customer service and would advise you not to go with any of the onida product. Their products are lousy and on top of that they have the WORST CUSTOMER CARE SERVICE that I have experienced so far.

                        My Onida Microwave Black Beauty 25 Litres always breaks the Turn table glass when ever I bake any thing. I thought 1st and 2nd time that it was my mistake I did some thing wrong. I got replaced that by paying 1000 rupees twice in last 1 year (during warranty, because turn table is not included in the warrenty).
                        The company guys refuse be admin that the problem with the heating system or the material of turn table glass. I used all the borosil utensils none of them broken only the turn table gets borken. and we can not use it with turn. it is useless now.

                        And now no one is willing to register the complaint. Please help.

                          I bought a ONIDA 22` LED TV on 13/3/2011 from Pai International, Indiranagar, Bangalore. The set went out of order on 01/7/2011. I have placed a compliant with the manufacturer and the complaint No.1610. Even after 20 days, they have not been able to repair the same as they do not have the spare parts.
                          Dear All,

                          I bought recenty 24inch ONIDA LED TV & its really good in all respects. All options are really nice, especially anti reflective glass fitted is really nice!. When I bought the TV I informed the call centre and got a complaint registration no & very next day service engineer came to my house and installed TV. He assured that, even If I need any guidance or service related issues can be contacted.

                          Nice people!!! definitely you can go ONIDA products. They are reliable, if any comments from public Its clearly shows that they have not done the things through proper channel and the approaching method should be nice!. I have approached them very politely and they did nice jobs.

                            I took Onida 21'' TV in Adishwar (Domloor) show room.After 2-3 months if I increase the volume of TV getting disturbed voice.So had called Adishwar showroom and said this is wt happening and they came and said need to replace the speakers.But till today they have not done that and when ever I call to them they will say speakers are not there.I have tried so many days in past 3 months.
                            Hence raised a request here,Hoping someone will help me.

                            Hello,

                            This complaint is regarding the irresponsibility and lack of ownership by the service team of Onida at noida.

                            I have bought the TV 2 months earlier.It speaker were not working properly.So I logged a complaint for the same on 30th Oct but till now(26th Nov) nobody turned up.

                            I hope if this kind of service is provided,then its better not give commitments of good services to customer when they go to buy a product.

                              Hello Everyone,

                              My name is D.Bharath, I bought one Onlida LCD M-24 Series LCD TV last year 8th August. From the date of purchase i face lot of problems in that LCD. it is not working properly for several months. I made lot of complaints about that service. Finally Onida Service people replacing the Ondia LCD Last 2 months back., But now again same problem, the service engineer came and told that there is some problem in that LCD Switch, we replaced within two days. After 30 days till now, he has not replaced that Switch. Kindly take necessary action.

                              I never expect these type of Service from Ondia. Pls take necessary action as soon as possible.

                              Onida customer service engineer is reparing my TV from the last 6 months. Still there is a picture problem in our TV. We are having warranty period also.
                              I had purchased a DVD player in Oct 2006. It worked perfectly for one year and later on started displaying problems. The Onida service engineer gave me the good news that there was a problem in the LENS and I would have to shell out roughly 1100 + for the replacement, which had no gurantee attached. The company is definately not paying attention to quality anymore. All those
                              ADs in the media about quality, customer orientation etc is all .
                              I purchased Microwave Oven 25CJS24S Black Beauty with great expection of good quality product and
                              service from onida, with in a Month the product has shown its true quality.
                              I Bought this on dated 09th November 2008 and Its stopped working on 14th December 2008 means hardly
                              its works for more than a month.

                              Than after i called the local service center (Bangalore[protected] to lodge a complaint and
                              complaint Numbers are below mentioned

                              1.[protected] dated 14th December 2008
                              2.[protected] dated 05th January 2009

                              I had a valid warrenty card with date and retailer's seal (M.K. Retail), Still I had not received
                              any service from Onida except some false promises.

                              Please help and provide good Service as I bought this Microwave Oven 25CJS24S Black Beauty, just
                              two month back and its not working from last one month.

                              I Spoke to Onida Call center Manager Mr. Sridhar, Call center Executive Nirmala.

                              This is the worst Service i have seen
                              i had also this type of neglance from onida swervice in calicut service center
                              onidas service is one of the worst service which i have seened in my life ever.very iresponsible guys .they have no any care to the customer.its not really good for their company.

                              fOR the past few days, having problem with our unit.

                              Several time called their service centre no . 32973244 always busy another no 66783000 keep telling
                              transfering to an operator never transfered after 10 mintu then I cut the line.

                              It is very Bad of Onida.. it is.
                              I have purchase Onida 1 ton ac on dated 23/07/07 serial number. w112yr[protected].
                              its front panel display is malfunctioning. i noted my complaint to service engineer and dealer in the first week of august 2008. their reply was, your ac is out of warranty.
                              Is life of such electrical item is only 1 year thats why onida is providing only 1 year warranty so that company spare parts revenue should generate . this is not done. it worked only for an year?
                              it means i need to spend money on NEW AC every year.

                              i mailed number of times (11) to company but it is more than two year passed nobody pay attention toward my complaint, service engineer says take our AMC of warranty extention and they something can happen. means only if i pay 1500/- to them they will claim.i am suffering from the same problem from last year. please do needfull to claim my problem mentally and Physically ASAP.

                              i have purchase one ONIDA 29 TV IN MADURAI. BUT THE TV IS CURRENTLY NOT WORKING. ONE YEAR COMPLETED FROM PURCHASE OF THAT TV.

                              THE MADURAI CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE IS NOT RESPONDING WITH THE CUSTOMER CALLS.

                              THE CUSTOMER SERVICE CENTRE MANAGERS AND ENGINEERS ALL OR VERY BAD ANSWER AND NOT TO GIVEN CUSTOMER SUPPORT.

                              I REQUEST TO ONIDA GROUP PEOPLE KINDLY FOLLOW THE SERVICE CENTRES AND WORKED PEOPLES. KINDLY GIVE TRAINNING TO YOUR CUSTOMER CARE MANAGERS AND ENGINEERS OTHERWISE YOUR BUSINESS IS WASTE.

                              we have a problem in tv from 2 months. but nobody solve our problem. we complain for it at the service station of vadodara. one time one engineer come and say it is remote problem. then he do something and go. than after again same problem we again call in service station. the engineer said we brought tv in service station and take it under observation and then after we solve your problem. we said ok. the van came and took our tv in service station. they are take it for 3days. thenafter they give it back and said your problem is solve but again and again same problem. we contact to the shopper. he gave us the main authorised person Mr. rajendrabhai. we call to rajendrabhai and said our problem. he said give me some time for asking my engineer that what is the problem in your tv. then i called to you but he don't call us. we call it and ask what you get action for our complain, he said i send my engineer again he saw the problem at your home and he call me from your house. we said ok. next day nobody will came till evening then we call to rajendrabhai again for saying that nobody engineer will came to saw the problem. after half and our engineer will be came totaly open the tv and said your surkit will get change it out of condition. we call to rajendrabhai he said don't worry we will change the surkit. we brought it newly for you from bombay and then change it. please give me 2/3 days. we said ok. and after the surkit change we have never any problem in tv . he said its my resposibility. then after the days gone and gone. but surkit will be not change. please do need full for us

                                I have bought Onida 21 inch ultra slim with USB TV worth Rs. 10,200 on 13/8/2010. since that day i am facing problem with the TV's sound system where the sound and the picture are not in line. all the dialogues are audible after 5-8 seconds of the particular scene is over. i have repeatedly registered complaint with customer care. no doubt that they have come and checked the system but no one is able to resolve the problem. Service people just come and open the TV, do some cleaning or alike stuff and leaves. The problem is still persisting. It will be 12 months that the TV is with me but of no use.

                                Another example of the irresponsible customer care is that no one out of 6 members ([protected]@onida.com, corporate.[protected]@onida.com, [protected]@onida.com, vivek.[protected]@onida.com, harish.[protected]@onida.com, anjali.[protected]@onida.com) have even felt a need to acknowledge the Email sent on 12/7/2011and send a reply that someone is working on this.

                                I'll ensure that no one from BEL (my Employer) make any kind of business with Onida hence forth.

                                Onida — Audio & vedio are not sincronizing

They are least bothered about customer once they have money in their pockets.

                                  i sundara raj [protected] purchased ur reputed onida ac-model s18TRCS 5star range.From the starting itself i made a complain that not cooling in a room. Even though AC is working from the next dealer of SVR air conditioner,sales &service office show room resides at no:19/4,school road,anna street,Gandhi nagar,Avadi,Chennai-54. cell no:[protected]. but he examined & said that there is no cycling of air.So i'll make complaint & which will be rectified. Then he also made complain to chennai customer care within month. Then another service executive has attended after 20 days. i have been advised by him that u scatter the water on the top of centering. I think that it is not a suitable advise. Then again i made a complain to customer care. 2person has come without any qualified studies of AC mechanic course & examined. Then they said that it's not so bad.
                                  It seems to be that i have been cheating & forgery by U &Ur dealer. which leads to mental agony & mental torture.

                                  Hence the company or u r liable to pay the compensation jointly or severally.If any losses occured to me or to my family.

                                    I have ONIDA 29" CTV - POISON (2000W) & it is not since last 05days. I have Registered my complaint with ONIDA's Ahmedabad service station & my complaint No.[protected] dated 08.07.2011. Till to date no boby came to repair my TV.
                                    This is not happening with me first time. It is a rutine thing for me.
                                    I am fade up with the ONDIA Service Centre. Please do the needful at the earliest.

                                      I HAD GIVEN A REQUEST FOR ONIDA SPLIT AC FOR SERVICING AND I HAVE A EMC FOR IT. I HAVE LAUNCHED A COMPLAINT FOR SERVICING THE AC ON 25TH OF JUNE AND STILL I DID NOT GET A ELECTRICIAN TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I AM VERY MUCH FRUSTRATED WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I REGRET FOR PURCHASING FROM ONIDA. STILL THERE IS NO RESPONSE FROM YOUR SIDE. I AM VERY MUCH UPSET WITH THE SERVICES.
