Few months back (March), we bought an Onida AC S18TRD3, and they offered 3 free service within one year. So as said I phoned the customer care to book for my service,(2 weeks ago ) and they gave me a reference no: [protected],and said they would reach within 2 working days, but till date they haven’t bothered to come.
But another interesting thing is that they phoned and said, they would come and asked us what the nature of complaint was, we said it was a free service. Within that word they disconnected the phone. This repeated twice. I phoned regarding the same matter to the customer care, and they promised to come within another 48hrs. Why is it so??? Even today I called them, what to do.
We could see advertisement about the brand through newspapers, T.V, flex boards, but next time give an underlined statement
‘DON’T EXPECT ANY SERVICE AFTER PURCHACE’

Further to the complaint dated 16/08//2011 captioned Poorest services in Ahmedabad for Onida Washing Machine, the neglegence has crossed the limit on the part of the service incharge.He arranged a technician and even though the wash motor was replaced by him earlier, he says that the motor under cash memo was not wash motor but spin motor!! The condition of the motor itself can establish that it is just like new one but they are not budging. iI had no choice but to enqire for WASH MOTOR.He told me that he will inform me if available and there no guarantee for the new motor even if available. I wated for his call and phoned him 3 times unanswered and lastly he cut the call.I had no choce but to give the repair work to outside party who promptly visited us and are attending.I would request the management of ONIDA to look into the matter immediately and adrress my complaint otherwise I will have to take other recourse including COMPLAINING IN THE LOCAL DAILY.
