This has reference to my Complaint logged with onida customer care([protected]).
I had complained that when the power of MW is switched on ,the system is ok of 3 seconds and suddenly the display is flickering and operation of the MW stops.

I just want to mention a few points related to the closure of my complaint.

I got a first call on 16th / 17th for the call centre about the issue I was facing with the MW Onida Black Beauty (21lts). I communicated my convenient timings for the technicians visit.

On Saturday 18th Dec 2010 one of the Onida technicians came in around 4 PM , he checked for the issue and came to the conclusion that there is a fault in display panel and that needs to be replaced (approx cost would be around Rs1800/) and he would communicate the same to back office.

On Wednesday 22nd Dec 2010 one more Technician called in and according to him on his investigation he came to the conclusion that problem is with the main power cord of the MW and that needs to be replaced. He assured that someone will call back for the same.

After all the R&D I sincerely request you please either replace our MW or provide one time resolution (buy back policy or something that exists with the customer policy of ONIDA) .
It is really of no use to keep a dead , useless equipment , I am sorry to mention that I never had a good experience with the Onida MW and we have hardly used the same.
Customers aim to invests his/her money in these electronic items is get a support / make a life easier


we are middle class people,we can't missuse any product ,as we can't afford any financial loss.if this is the kind of service provided by the company they have no right to stay in the market as,customers are not happy and satisfied with the after sale services provided to them.Why do these companies sell the product if they can't provide the service well and on time.

I would really appreciate your efforts to provide me a complete solution ASAP.

    I have an AMC for Onida TV valid till June 2012. Now my Onida TV started to give problems 4-5 days back and so I registered my complaint with the Onida Customer care & was assigned a complaint number:[protected] and was promised the engineer would visit as soon as possible. Since nobody came, I called up the CC again & they gave me the engineer's number who told me he hasn't got the time to come anytime soon as he has many other complains to catch up. His name is Siddiqui Ansari @ [protected]. So I got the number of the Head manager Sandeep - [protected] - who after repeated calling assured that somebody would come today i.e. 11th Jan 2011 by 9 pm to look into the issue. Well, as expected, nobody came. No calls, nothing.
    I'm really pissed off at their attitude as while giving the AMC they would respond in 1 phone call and while giving the service I'm getting a hard time.
    Already wrote the same in Onida's feedback form. Now how should I escalate the issue ? Whom to call/complain ?
    I brought a Onida TV (model ultra slim) 6 months back from your Onida showroom. Now my Onida TV is not working and so I registered my complaint 3 weeks back with the Onida Customer care & was assigned a complaint number: 561583 and was promised the engineer would visit as soon as possible. Once one engineer came and checked then he said the main ic gone.he agreed o me he will come back with that ic after two days. Since nobody came, I called up the CC again & they gave me the engineer's number who told me he hasn't got the time to come anytime soon as he has many other complains to catch up. His name is Geoorge @ [protected]. Well, as expected, nobody came. No calls, nothing.
    I'm really pissed off at their attitude as while giving the AMC they would respond in 1 phone call and while giving the service I'm getting a hard time.

      I purchased Onida Microwave 25L oven in October 2010 .After few days , door lock of microwave got broken . I have complaint Onida customer care i think around 100 times till date . I even talk to head of Chandigarh department . Till date no one has come to repair/replace it .I am fed up of calling Onida customer care .Don't know what to do .Please help me out .

        we have purchased ondia ultra slim 29 inch TV 3yrs back.Now & then we used to face small problems but this time automatically TV got shut down when it was on.We thought there is some current problem but after checking electric plugs we came to know TV not working.
        For service we tried customer care service call center but they response in bad way.
        We also logged complaint from we purchased it-no response from them also.
        We have also purchased 1yr warranty subscription for the same.
        Hope this complaint will help foe the same.
        Hoping for the best revert.

            Onida / Mobile — Battery Backup

            Dear Sir,
            I was purchased Onida mobile model (G720) before 3 month. But I'm not happy his battery backup. I have been reading it every day to charge and when to whom It is half an hour then it goes down three cell immediately. I only request that you Against this soon take some action. For this I will be eternally grateful.

                I have bought Onida Microwave Oven - Sr No M028GMD05D00093, Model 25GTT12 in Aug 2005. The equipment stopped working in the month of June 2010. Since then I have been speaking to various executives from Onida. Twice the oven was taken for service and brought back saying that the spare part required is not available. I have spoken to Mr. Satish Bhoyer who is supposed to be the head of the Oven business countrywide (Mobile no[protected]. He is also confirming that the spare part is not available and can not be made available as the oven is already 4 years old. Instead he is insisting that I buy a new oven with 25% discount. When I appealed to Mr. Bhoyer that, had I got the spare part and service availbility I would have spent only around Rs 1600, he is not in a mood to listen and instead claims that Onida is losing money by offering 25% discount. This is a the kind of service and reply you can get if you make a mistake of buying Onida equipment.

                    DEAR SIR,

                    I am happy enough that my LCD TV of Xaria22 model is now functioning normally after your service stations (10, sayanagar , Bhubaneswar) service man's suggestion.

                    But I am surprised to see your service charge. They demanded Rs. 600/- for a valuable suggestion. i.e. They told us the secret code of the LCD only by which it is start functioning properly.

                    I am a permanent customer of your company. Previously (Twenty years OLD) I have Onida TV of 21" which is me till now without any complain.

                    I told you also about the complain of the LCD. I remind you again
                    The Complaint
                    " While remote is operated by me Accidentally some button might be pressed unknowingly . A MENU which I have never seen after purchasing the LCD (about 14 month back) appeared on the screen where a factory set up appeared. When ok button is being depressed the LCD stop responding to all manual and remote buttons."

                    So I lodge a complaint in your toll free number and simultaneously wrote to you.

                    The solution is so simple that a kid can solve. But we could not solve it as I don't know the procedure and secret code which is 1700.


                    Coming to the main point

                    1.Why I should be charged for the service which you have not offered to me? The amount is charged for manual labour in the bill. where there is no absolutely no manual labour.

                    2. The service station is only 2 km. from my residence.

                    3. The code and procedure could have been told to us over phone without coming to the home.

                    4. Why the same code is not provided to the consumer at the time of selling LCD?

                    5. Why it is not mentioned in the MANUAL of the LCD in the troubleshooting part.?

                    I want explanation and action for the above point raised by me within 7 days satisfactorily. The amount (600) must be refunded to me unconditionally. Otherwise I will proceed to the Court of law for JUSTICE.

                        I have got a Onida Microwave oven as a gift of my marriage on 29th of August. They bought that on 27th of August. I live in Bangalore...It took 1 month for me to take it to bangalore...


                        I've called the customer care without opening it myslef... and they respond after a week waiting... and I made a struggle to adjust timeslot for them. the person just came and told what are all the buttons and translated them into hindi... and whatever is available in the book, he told that and simply left. after that i tried making coffe in that. The oven's basic purpose heating is absent in that piece. nothing is getting heated.

                        then i shifted my home to another place. almost after a week, i've called dem u[p again for the demo. they siad they will come within 24-48 hrs... but after repeated phone calls, came after 10days..

                        dis man was saying abt that, and wen tried to heat something, found that it's not working, opened and did something and said that MAGNETRON was faulty. and went out asking me to get the bill.

                        i got the bill after a week, and after repeated calls to the manager and all one person came with new magnetron saying that it was not available in stock till now. that also didn't worked out. then he went out for the day saying that some circuto board is faulty. he again came without giving me much struggle and changed something, den also dat is not working. 1 month was over by this time to my complaint.

                        i've called up the manager and asked for replacement den he said, "tommorrow i'll send the technician, and then will take the decession of replacement" then who were all coming till now??????????

                        1 week passes like dat only... this time i didn't followed dem up because i was frustrated with the repeated phone calls.. with the pressure of my mom i've called dem up after a week, and asked and just like quarrelled with them regarding the piece, elsewhere i'll go to consumer court i said, den they said, they wil close the issue on the same day.

                        now they were saying that, spare part is not available and they have to get permission from some H.O. which will take anotehr 4,5 days.

                        god knows why they have given me the oven of this company only. i never ever buy any of onida products, and won't allow any of my frieds and family to buy it.

                          I had wrost experience in ONIDA services, I have decided not to buy a single product in future & wish to recommend other if they wish. My TV is not functioning & lodge a complaint on 2nd Nov'10 & till now (one month over) & could not able to resolve. Now a days one can presume the importance of television.

                          Service consultant would come & take the original parts saying this is not working & to be replaced as everybody would not know the technical expertise. I called service centre to get a clarity & they also started acting as we get the part late & service team would come & say with bill this much, without bill is so much. nogotiation..... Friends these type of frustration one has to undergo with these type of products..

                            Our Onida TV 2100 series was under repair and contacted the so called Authorised Service Centre and registered complaint and contacted the so called Prop. and incharge staff at least 10 times - it is aggrieved that no useful action and only a smiling answer - "Yes Sir we will attend immediately - today itself". What is this ? Is it the Service by ONIDA. Please reply soon ?

                                Hi,

                                I have bought an Onida air conditioner 1.5 ton split unit on the 14th March,2010 and it is giving me a lot of issues for the past 8 months. I have complained several times for the same but the service provided by your company is pathetic. The latest being on 3rd Nov,2010.

                                Complaint No: [protected].

                                The Onida air conditioner had the following issues mentioned by your engineer in the job sheet:
                                1. Motor faulty. A/C swing is not working.
                                2. No cooling at all.
                                3. Cropper pipe is damaged open from backside.


                                The engineer replaced the motor within warranty and the swing started working but there was no cooling. The engineer said that during the first time installation, the cropper pipe installation was not done correctly. Unaware of this,we paid complete charges Rs.1800/- for first time installation. Now, the cropper pipe was replaced but is left open by the engineer. The engineer told the person present at the site that the ac is working even when there was no cooling. He deliberately wanted us to sign the job sheet.

                                The engineer forcibly himself signed on the sheet and closed it. He demanded Rs. 2400/- as charges. 1700 for re-installation and 700 for the new pipe.

                                How can the company demand for re-installation even when the installation was done incorrectly the first time?

                                Refusing to pay him, the engineer left the site without the customer signing it.

                                I spoke to Sudhir , manager at Next dealers at Ulhasnagar Camp 3 from where it was purchased and Shailendra from your repair centre. After speaking with them for 2 hrs Shailendra agreed to settle the issue at Rs. 700 and said that the engineer will come the next day for solving the issue. The guy came the next day to collect the payment of Rs. 700 and said that the engineer will come later.

                                After repeated follow up's with Sudhir (Manager at Next dealer)and Shailendra. Both are deliberately harassing us and demanding to pay up the pending amount and then they will send the engineer for repairs. YOUR COMPANY PEOPLE ARE NOW BEHAVING LIKE RECOVERY AGENTS. I have voice recorded conversations of both of them.

                                If no action is taken against Mr. Shailendra and Mr. Sudhir within 24 hrs of the receipt of the mail alongwith the repairs done to the air conditioner, we would be going to the PRESS and the CONSUMER FORUM.

                                The following payments have been done since buying the ac.
                                1. 21000 (cost of ac)+ 1800 (installation)
                                2. 700 for another fault a few months back.
                                3. 700 for the new pipe that was fixed.

                                  Registered in 8 Days back in to Relaince.
                                  It's very Bad services from Onida And Reliance .

                                  This is not the case when you buy from any other store except Adhishwar.
                                  These people are pathetic specially domlur brach.
                                  I recommend to go for stores like croma or PAI rather than adishwar

                                    one day my tv was been off.while i was started on flashing was being on tv screen. i have complaint to onida show-room in my city,but there are no reply proper so i had decided to go at authorized service station.& i went to mahesana to its' service-station.one service man who have seen my tv unit, said that it would be repaired but expenses are being very high, i agreed with him. after service my tv was not properly run & tv screen vibrates when some sound been full in volume. that technical fault has been stored in tv.meanwhile i have 20 time complaint to service station but there is no reply proper. this problem is consist in this unit.i hope u should help regarding this matter.

                                        I have brought onida lcd 22vm model 10 days back.Inspite of calling many times still i dont get any service.
                                        I have never seen such a poor and worst service before.Right from the technician to the national sales manager everybody is waste and do not respond properly for any service issue.
                                        My sincere advice for everybody not to purchase any product from onida as you have to suffer a lot.
