    I am very much disappointed by purchasing the Onida oxygen brand tv.I have logged a compliant for a repair of my tv compliant number [protected].Your customer care persons wrongly noted my address, surprisingly yesterday one person called up my number and asked me where is "Vijaya nagar colony at Himayath nagar". I have explained him including land marks of my address and he told me that he has not alloted for the service for my area and told me that some other person will come tomorrow,so far no body has turned up. I have contacted customer care number[protected] some person asked me and checked up the address again and he had a talk with team leader and told me that "Team leader asked him to note my phone number" it is ridicules!!! I have already provided all my details and contact numbers. This depicts about the carelessness and not showing importance to a valuable customer, next time I will not venture to purchase any Onida item. If customer care and service departments are not sincerer no customer will purchase your brand. This poor service will lead to breach of agreement and consumer grievance forum.

      Sub : Poor Service at Chennai for Your Washing Machine
      Ref : My Model No Hydrofall 62
      I am P.Murali from Chennai, Purchased Onida Washing Macine Model Hydrofall 62, from Omega TV Centre, No. 39/B, Arcot Road, Saligramam Chennai 600 093 on 23.04.2009.
      The Cash Receipt No. is A000224 dt. 23/04/2009 for Rs. 6000/- in exchange with my earlier godrej washine machine.
      On Using the washing for 3 to 4 months we had a problem with the Washing Tub Lid and Drier Tub Lid. I directly went and lodged a complaint on 04/09/09 with Onida office at ONIDA HOUSE No. 18, 4TH LANE opp. Nungambakkam High Road, Near CA Institute, Nungambakkam Chennai - 600 034.
      The complaint No. was[protected]. It was just registered and was not attended to even for 1 week or ten days and we were directed to our nearby Adonis office at valasaravakkam and the receptionist at the office asked us to book a complaint thro call centre. We tried two to three times and the complaint was forwarded to Adonis Electronics , Valasaravakkam headed by Mr. Ravi Shankar. But nobody turnedup.
      1 IT WAS NOT ATTENDED AT ALL AND FINALLY AFTER 2 MONTHS OF CONTINUOUS PHONE CALLS ONE FELLOW BY NAME JAYAPAUL ATTENDED THE COMPLAINT FROM ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD., VALASARAVAKKAM CHENNAI- 87
      He Broke the spring connection and washing tub Lid.
      He educated us to use the wash tub lid by a stick and he will be back within 2 days. He did not turnup, even after somany telephone calls and days and months have passed by.
      We were fully fed up with the service rendered by your office.
      After one year we went to and exhibition at Chennai Trade Centre, where in the Onida Stall we enquired about the service department, and came to know that Mr. Thiru is the coordinator for the service in Chennai. Next day we contacted him and he also responded in a similar way and after so many calls he sent a person with an assistant to look into the condition of the machine. They simply inspected the machine and after an interval of one more month it was attended to by Ramu for replacement of wash tub lid on payment of Rs. 1300/- vide cash receipt No. 442 dt. 23/10/10.
      2 After one month from the date of replacement we are having a leakage problem with the drier section. We informed Mr. Ramu as he had attended to the machine earlier . He came and simply attended to it and the problem was not rectified.
      3 We lodged a complaint for the leakage of water from the drier side of the washing Machine on 24/01/2011 at 3 PM bearing Complaint No. [protected]. As a regular practice the lodged complaint was not attended to and after so many phone calls it was attended to by Mr.JAISANKAR , he said that there is a problem with the inlet connection and it has to be replaced. While checking he did not close the panel properly and we informed him next day in the morning hours, he came to fix it properly, while fixing he came across another problem with the spring of the drier door. He wanted to adjust the same and broke the spring by improper mechanism he also broke the plastic connecting portion. He said that he will purchase a new spring from nearby Hardware store and replace the same next day. He did not turnup again. After 15 days he came and replaced the old rusty spring with a new spring with lesser turns, but the original problem was not attended atall , he said that the spare was not available with the office and also told that the spares come to head office once in a week from Mumbai, He said that he will check the status of the inlet connection with the stores and attend to it on getting the same, he thereby disconnected the water supply to the drier tub in order to stop the leakage. He did not turnup and also his cell was switched off.
      We therefore informed Mr. Ravishankar of valasaravakkam, he always takes up the receiver and asks for complaint No. and the full story of our washing machine. He always promises to send the technician within 48 hours. But there is no action.
      Similarly Mr. Thiru , the coordinator takes up all the details and acts as if he is the only genuine person attending the problem and always says the problem will be attended the same day before evening. But as a usual practice there will be no action from your office.
      We will again do the same exercise after 48 hours, and the office at valasaravakkam asks for the contact phone nos. which all nos. are available with us and finally after identification Mr. Ravi Shankar comes on the line and asks us whether we are having problem with Ac, TV or Washing Machine. After collecting all the details he transfers the line to the reception lady and the lady says that the pending problem will be definitely attended to in 48 Hours.
      But there will be no action .
      4 On continuous followup the problem as usual was not attened. On last Wednesday on 3rd March 2011 I went to your Valasaravakkam Office and once again explained the same old story to Mr. Ravishankar the incharge as he is said nodded his head and promised me that the problem will be attended to positively on Friday. I once again took that promise thinking that my 1 year 10 Months old Washing machine will be functioning in proper way atleast from Friday.
      But till Saturday 05.03.11 afternoon 3.00 pm nobody has turnedup from your office, again after 10 phone calls Mr. Ravi Sent Mr. Prakash to attend the problem. He attended to the Problem, he used insulation tape to tighten the leakage at all the hose pipe ends. Finally he informed your office that the inlet connection has to be replaced. He will also replace the machine with fresh hose pipes. After he left we were calm, we today(06.03.11) noticed that the panel was not fit properly and it was loose. The Drier timer is working and the drier is not functioning. We are really fed up with the high quality service provided by your organization giving the public all false promises.
      We today informed Thiru about the same and he says that he is in no way connected to the service department, Mr, Ravi The Incharge of Valasaravakkam is the correct person to attend the problem and rectify the mistake.
      Hope our problem will not be corrected but it will continue.
      This is the very Sad experience with the international standard maintained By Onida Washing Machine.
      We inform you that one of your technician told my Wife that the washing machine complaints are not considered seriously and will be attended as and when they like.

      Note: Why I have purchased this Washing machine because my wife is having health problem and she cannot take any extra strain with washing clothes and thought it would be useful and helpful in a big way, the fibre body also attracted us in the purchase of this model.
      But even after 1 year 10 Months one problem or other is persisting and is not resolved.

      Onida Washing Machine — Replacement of door (broken)

      I have given complaint in the month of april-2009 vide complaint number.[protected]. Till date they are not able to replace the broken part of its door. Model - Tumple 50.

        The new onida LED TV ad claims to stop 99%UV rays coming from the TV. There are 2 problems with this:
        1. There is no study in the world which shows that TVs emit UV rays. The emission if any is 10000 times less than that which would harm the eyes.
        2. stooping 99% UV rays is of absolutely no use as even 0.01% UV rays are equally harmful as 1% or 100%. It is of no use and of no significance to stop only 99%.

          Dear Sir,
          I lodged my complaint eight days back. Complaint No. [protected] at Onida service centre Dhole Patil Road, Pune. One rep collected my tv's kit for replacing c.v.. Eight days have passed and c.v. is not replaced. I rang up service centre daily they say tomarrow they will send but nobody comes and they say same reply. Now i am going to take legal action against service centre.

THAT DEALERS NAME WAS DECLARED BY YOU IN NEWS PAPER ADVERTISEMENT, PUBLISHED BY YOU RELATED TO ONIDA AIR CONDITIONERS. AS MY A/C IS NOT EFFECTIVELY COOLING AND WITHIN THE SERVICE WARRANTY, I MADE A COMPLAINT ON[protected] ON TELEPHONE # 39889000 AT ABOUT 14=00 HRS AND MY COMPLAINT # IS [protected] AND INFORMED THAT MY COMPLAINT WILL BE ATTENDED WITHIN 48 HOURS. IMMEDIATELY, AT 14=07 HRS I RECEIVED A CALL FROM TELEPHONE # 64551422 AND HE INTRODUCED HIMSELF AS SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR OF ONIDA COMPANY BY NAME MR. WASIM AND INTIMATED ME THAT MY ONIDA A/C WILL NOT BE SERVICED AND UPON MY QUESTIONING THE GENUINENESS OF MY PURCHASE FROM YOUR AUTHORIZED DEALER, HE DISCONNECTED THE PHONE WITHOUT GIVING ANY PROPER REASON.

            THEREFORE, I REQUEST YOU TO GIVE PROPER REASON FOR NOT SERVICING THE ONIDA A/C PURCHASED FROM YOUR AUTHORIZED DEALER DECLARED BY YOU AND WITHIN THE PERIOD OF WARRANTY.             Onida / Air Conditioner — Fault in PCB.

            After Power up the PCB it is running for around two minutes and then F6 fault is showing in display unit.

            anf Indoor unit's fan is getting off.

            Give the reason for this fault.

              I had complained about my Onida TV 29" Flat 15 March 2010, complaint no. R/03/347. Now after 25 days of the complaint, i feel like cheated, insulted.

              Nature of Complaint : Reparing of TV

              History
              I had bought Onida 29" Flat TV in November 2009 from Maharaja Trading Co, Ratnagiri. After some times it closed display completely.
              Regarding this we registered compliant in the customer service at Ratnagiri. (Compliant numbers: R/03/347 dt. 15/03/2010 & R/04/16 dt. 07/04/2010).

              One Gentle from customer service came, by accidently in Night 10 pm & doing something then tv start & he takes Rs. 950/- for Rs. 500/- for parts & Rs.450/- for service charge but yet give me proper bill.

              After that we used regularly but on 7th again creat problem & no one come for repairing. your service center is third class level.

              I am really fed up of calling Service Engineer again & again.

              Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify my TV problems.
              Then I had one more request to onida please keep some able persons in prime areas. (At least who can speak in politely) in customer service as relation ship managers.

              I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

              problem is when i start tv sound automatically full vollume .

              Onida — TV service

              I had purchased Onida TV 29" from reliance mart Faridabad on[protected] delivered on 29-Dec-2011. Sale order no.[protected] . It has problem of straching screen on august last week. I had raised complaint on 1-Sep-2011 in warrenty period. Technician came 3 times to repair the TV in the month of sep. on 2nd Oct again i had raised new complaint (previous complaints closed unsolved) and they told me we will replace the Kit. Again in the month of sep i had followed with them they told me the kit is not in stock it will take some time. I had called Mr. Amarjeet(head of Faridabad Servide center cell no. [protected]) every time he told me today or tommorrow the technician will definitly come. but every time he is giving me excuse. I had also called Omkar on his cell [protected]. Today i called him he told we had no technician our three technicians are on leave. and he gave me excuse company know about it. I want that this tv need to be replaced with extended warrenty or refund my money back. Complaint no. are [protected], [protected] , [protected], [protected] and so on. Contact no. [protected].

              I purchased a Onida slim flat screen tv. The Tv is completely blank. Was informed that the Picture tube has gone which is hardly 24 months. We do have another tv at home in good condition for last 15 years. The service person was arguing that whether the problem is rectified or not i need to pay the charges of 450, which i found it is not reasonable. The TV remains in place where it was installed and not moved also. If is definately a faulty set which has been sold to us. First experience of purchasing a onida product among the other electronics at home had given a very bitter experience in terms of product and service and courtesy.

              I am using Onida Xaria Lcd Tv from last 2years. After one year of tv purchase, the screen pannel was damaged, I paid 5000rs to repair it from onida service, after six month from 1st repair again same problem is occured, ur service man told no warranty for it, its not affordable 4me again to change it through paid. what to do, give me proper solution.
              In 1year of pannel repaired u hv to give warranty like other competants.. Its so bad that ONIDA hv such problem n this type of service. plz help by ur service to improve my thinking against Onida.

                  I have brought onida lcd 22vm model 10 days back.Inspite of calling many times still i dont get any service.
                  I have never seen such a poor and worst service before.Right from the technician to the national sales manager everybody is waste and do not respond properly for any service issue.
                  My sincere advice for everybody not to purchase any product from onida as you have to suffer a lot

                      I have lodged a complaint with the service centre of ONIDA in Mysore on 15th of February (2011) over phone[protected] regarding the lack of red colour in the display. The service centre is yet to send its serviceman (mechanic) in spite of many reminders. Today (18th Feb, 2011), I have even made an attempt to call the manager of the service centre ([protected]) who said that the mechanic would be at my house today. But, the service centre has not sent any mechanic till now. Perhaps, Oida is no more "Owner's pride and neighbours's envy". It is the other way round - "Neighbour's pride and Owner's enemy". It is because sellers of other brands of TV immediately attend to any problem faced by the consumers, but not those who have bought ONIDA products. It is my earnest hope that the people at ONIDA are serious about their customers.

                        I bought a Onida Convection Microwave 20 L from Ghaziabad on 24/01/2011, in sealed box the manual book for microwave was missing. I went to Big Bazar, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad from where i purchased it and told this thing to executive, they said to me to come after 3-4 days.

                        today is 15/02/2011, one month is going to complete but nobody is entertaining the complaint.

                        The demo was also not satisfactory, service engineer told me that we don't know how to give demo if there is any technical problem in your set we can see that only, you know better about it.

                        So, it's my humble request to you please issue a manual book for 20 L Conv MW and send somebody who really knows about convection micowave.

                          I have Purchased an Onida 21: CTV from Das Electronics, Inda, Kharagpur West bengal Phone number[protected]. They Have send a Default Television. I complaint then so they have said that they are sending someone. They do send but when he came he said that he will come back after some days. Waiting for nearly 2 Months again I complained. Again they said that they are sending someone. Again they do send but when he came he said that Picture Tube needs to be changed and so went away saying that he will send Picture tube within 10 days but it is almost 2 Month again they did nothing. Now when I am complaining they are doing Nothing. Sir they want my Warranty to lapsed I think then they will come Please do something Sir. I am fed up of complaining

                            I am Sqn ldr Rishabh Mittal, I am a pilot and serving with Indian Air Force. I bought this LCD TV of Onida Model No. L032XSDBRFU on 29 Jan 2010 from hyderabad. On 30 Aug 2010, the dispaly of the TV got blanked and after keeping the POwer OFF for 7-8 hours it resumed normal. I made a complain on 30 Aug with complain no. [protected], the technician visitd the next day, since the tv was working fine on that day he went back saying if you have this problem again please call we will see.

                            The same problem reoccurred on 09 Sep 2010 and this time again after keeping the power off for 7-8 hours it resumed normal. I again made a complain with complain no [protected]. The technician visited and since the TV was working fine he said if this happens again please call we will change the mother board.

                            The same problem occurrd on 19 Dec 2010, and I made a complain with no. [protected], this time technician Mr. Anil visited and said that they will change the mother board. After about a week he brought a new motherboard and changed it and when he switched on the tv after changing the mother board the same problem occurred in front of him and there was no display, so he replaced the old motherboard back and said that he will get back to us and after some days he said that they will try to change the power invertor and check. So he changed the power invertor and thereafter as he swithced the set on the same problem happened in front of him and their was no display. He could not make out what wsa the problem and said that he will consult his superior and let us know. Meanwhile the same thing happened on 11 Jan 2011 and I made a complain again. This time again Mr. Anil visited and he said that I must give my Bill copy at thier office and they will dispatch the same to thier company and ask for solution.

                            I visited the Service center and gave a copy of my bill and asked Mr. Pravin Bhai patel, the incharge that since they have no solution left please ask for replacement. He took the copy and said that he will get back to me.

                            This was on 15 Jan 2011. Till today i.e 12 Feb I didnot receive any call from Mr. Anil/ Mr. Pravin. Today again the TV was giving problem so I called up Mr. Pravin and asked what happened? He said that they have received reply from Company that they will take my set and repair it at the service center and keep it for 4-5 days with them. I asked them as to why they did not inform me they had no answer for that and said that my phone was swithced off which is a lame excuse...I also asked him that they have already tried everything so what new will they do. To this also he could not answer.

                            I thereafter called up helpline to check the status and to my horror I was told that the service center at Vadodara had already closed my complaints without me knowing anything and with informing with about the reply they received. Now when I am calling the helpline for complain they say that your warranty is over so there will be fresh service charges. This is total harrassment...I asked the helpline to give me the no of some senior person incharge, on that they said that the only person I can contact is Mr. Praveen and they have no contact details of any superior officer.

                            I feel cheated and would request you to kindly intervene so that my compalint can be attended. All I want is that my U/S set may be replaced by serviceable one.

                                I have purchased an onida tv model(ky thunder 800) six years back. In november the TV got some problem.I registered my complaint to the onida service centre in patna and they have given me the complaint number i.e.698
                                people from the company came and saw the TV and he said one of your TV parts needs to be replaced but the parts is not available in the patna branch and we have to bring it from the mumbai.I am waitng for last two months and finally the company people told me that ciompany has stopped manufacturing this model so we cannot do any thing more.I asked the company person that at the time of purchasing the TV you people have not told me that after six years company will not take the resopnsibility of servicing.
