I had bought a 1.5 ton split a/c of ONIDA through a dealer in Dombivli. I have a very strong complaint about the quality of this product.
A/c was purchased in October 2010 but due to some reasons did not use even 3 months but servicing was done in time.
I had made a complaint to the delaer for "no cooling" and the dealer deputed his mechanic instead of authorised mechanic of Onida.
When the mechanic insisted for a sum of Rs.2200 I told him to send the authorised Onida mechanic. While leaving, that meachnikc warned me
that i would have to pay double of this amount to Mechanic of Onida. As warned, they both played a game and the Onida Mechanic
came and asked me to pay first to start the repairs. I do not this is fair on the part of Onida, a company of repute.

    Dear Sir,

    I virender singh, customer of Onida, last year on 27th May 2011, I purchased A window AC model no WG18N.from retailer M/s Kool Mart. Add- 127, sant nagar, east of kailash New delhi-110065, After purchasing to installation to till now,It dint work properly till now. We lodged it first complaint on 3 august 2011 via customer care , complaint no [protected] and it finally resolved in last week of september. And after that we dint use it. And now as we restarted it after servicing, again it started showing faults. I registered complaint on 23rd for non working properly via customer care, complaint no [protected], it resolved today.
    Sir, every time as they people came , every time they tell us different complaints. We got totally fed up with their services... Yet now I don't want this AC.. Because as the day of purchased it not worked good for even a single day...

    Please do need full.

      On 14th Feb, 2012, onida microwave was purchased from METRO kandivali and is gifted to us. Since we were out of station person was called for demo in First week of March. When the person tried to show us the demo, the machine didnot work, he called for another technician on 4th March who again tried to switch on the machine. But it didnt work, therefore he asked for invoice copy, Since it is not purchased by us we had to call for the bill from the purchaser.

      I informed the techician that about the duplicate bill on 15th March, and he came to collect the same on 22nd with an assurance that since at the time of demo machine has not worked it is an defective piece and we will surely get a replace for the same.

      Today, on 26th i received a call from the technician that our request for replacement is rejected. Therefore I called up Mr Atul Pense Service branch head Mumbai, on enquiry I was being told that it is my fault that the invoice did not reach them on time and surprise to Know from Senior person that Onida doesnot offer warranty for any gift item. an I should satisfy myself for there kindness that they will repair the machine free of cost.

      How does it matter whether the piece was gifted or purchased for own consumption?????
      Does it mean that Company gets licence to sell there defective stock if it is purchased for gifting somebody???
      It is fault of customer and resposiblity of customer to keep the invoice copy, but is it not the duty of onida to ensure that defective piece should not supplied for selling????

      How can i settle down with getting the machine repaired with no fault o[censored]s???

      Since the machine is never use if it is not replaced WE WILL LOGGED COMPLAINT WITH CONSUMER FORUM

        Dear All,

        I have purchased a LED 32" Crome from Star CJ in November 2011,
        In February Power Supply of LED failed and company replace Power supply after 5-6 Days of complaint,
        In March, LED Panel is Failed and i made a complaint in March 16, 2012, but till 25 March, nothing is done,I have talked many times with Customer care and also talked with Service incharge (Mr. Atul ) Contact No. is [protected], but he said , " Aaj ho Jayege' Kal Ho Jayega, Ladke Nahi Hai, Helper Nahi, etc" All this things,

        Please Suggest me what should i do now, To whom i will talk to resolve the problem?

          I have purchase a onida 23 l grill microwave oven (Model no - m023gjp21s) from star cj vide their invoice no[protected] dated 19 jan 2012. Oven body have three hole and rusted. Paint of the body screched where three hole seen. I have complaint in star cj and onida service centre twice, but no action have been taken. Once representative of onida came. He examine and taken photocopy of invoice by telling i will loadge your complain.
          Please help me.

            hello sir ,
            This is p.satya narendra .i bought a Onida semi automatic washing machine on 10 Aug,2010.(having two years warranty ), facing of spinner problem and water leakage raised a complaint bearing ref number [protected] on Jan 2012 based on my complaint service engineer visited and took The machine to service center and kept for 25 days around and deliver on Feb 24Th 2012 wiThout rectifying The problem ,so again i had raised complaint on march 3 rd bearing wiTh complain no [protected] and engineer just visited on march 07Th ,and went off till Their is no response from The service people -mobile number [protected]

              I have bought a TV in near about Diwali in 2011. At that time we have complaint against TV Starting problem to local Onida Service Center. They come and take some part of TV for seen the problem and after a week they fit this part in TV. But the TV gives problem till date. After that we have called them many time but they do not respond us till date.

              Kindly look into the matter.

                I had purchased Onida Microwave oven from Endovision Electronics, Ludhiana vide bill no. 1182 dt. 25.10.2011. It went out of order with in one month only. We started communicating verbally, they visited & told PCB failed & they don't have any PCB in stock, kept on chasing them, but nothing happened. After that finally got registered the complaint vide no. [protected] on 15th Feb., again no body turned up with in 15 days, when checked after 15 days, to my surprise they told that call is closed on 16th. Now on 1.3.2012 I called up them again to revive the same complaint. I am too much disappointed with the after sale service & feed back system. I simply want the replacement for the same ASAP.

                  I'm very sorry to write this mail to you.Although our family is a loyal customer of VideconTV for 3 decades, we shifted loyalty to ONIDA , the decision we regret very much.

                  Last fortnight I,along with my wife, had decided , after a day long research in the market, to go for your ONIDA GOLD LCD TV 32".we regret for our very bad decision today.WHY?

                  Once it was installed,along with Dish TV HD connection,our viewing experience was very disappointing and disturbing and hence we called your service centre in our district.Alas, despite the best efforts of your technician the quality of picture and sound system was fund to be worst to the core..Your technician promised that the sound system would get replaced on his reporting to the company but my wife argues why should, for no fault of ours, we should go for repairing a brand new set and she insist me to demand that a fresh piece of ONIDA GOLD LCD TV 32". be given as replacement after the same is subjected to all kinds of quality control checks at your factory or else let us go for consumer case .
                  Her argument sounds justified as we have invested considerably a fair amount of our life time savings to have a peaceful viewing experience after waiting so long years in our life.

                  Hence let me wait for a week so as to give you sufficient time to move your official machinery/marketing team to act shiftily as to provide a brand new ONIDA GOLD LCD TV 32". set after a thorough quality control checks or else let me please proceed in my own way as to do needful to get out of this ONIDA turmoil.

                  Although a complaint on line has been registered by me so far no reply acknowledging receipt of / for registration of the complaint has been received by me. But some technician from Bangalore had come 4-5 days back and told me that you keep n observing the TV and call me later on.
                  As he was present for only few minutes to observe the sound system of the TV , during which time there was no 'creech' 'creech' noise was coming from TV and hence probably he didn't take our complaint so seriously.

                  But while seeing the TV most of the time , we do get the disturbing noise often and hence we request yu to replace the sound system as already recommended by your Dindigul Service Centre Technician whose report when we demanded a photocopy he said there is no need for that.
                  Kindly see that the TV set is replaced or the problem resolved in the most satisfactory manner.

                    hi,

                    I had bought a microwave oven, power convection 25lts 2 years back. During the first week of January 2012 the oven stopped working (in the process of cooking there was a sound and the smell of burnt coil emerged). i registered a complaint with onida and a service engineer had come. After checking he said the unit has to be taken to the service centre for checking. so the next day i took the oven to the service centre in Anna Nagar (their telephone no.[protected] and registered a complaint sheet dated 12.01.2012, complaint no.[protected].

                    Till date there is no feedback about it. i keep calling them every week but they keep saying it will be ready in 2 days time. I even personally went to the service centre and demanded an explanation but in vain. i am fed up following them and now i am helpless without the oven.

                    Please help me get back my oven in good condition.

                      I have given first complaint Onida LCD Tv for repair on[protected], no person came to me but complaint was closed with out intimating me. I have given second complaint (2) again technician came for visit and said board is burn't it does not cover under warranty you have to buy new one for Rs.3500/-. But part is not available now it takes four days to bring it and left. After he left I have contacted customer care about warranty they said that warranty covers it. After ten days I have contacted customer care about my complaint status they that complaint is closed. But the problem was not solved. They gave me new complaint number (3) on[protected] service person came and tried to fix the board not succeeded he said he will bring the new board and left. On[protected] he came and again tried but not succeeded he said to bring the TV to service Centre and left.

                      On[protected] I handed over TV at service Centre (4) they it takes four days to repair. After four days I have contacted over phone they said two more days. After two days I have contacted over phone they said two more days. I seriously asked the call operator whether it is possible to give TV to me then she handed over phone Sri.Nagesh incharge he said I don't know about your TV till now I will make it repair in two days is said my TV in repair in last one month. He says i don't know about your till now. I have waited two more days and called him seriously he said he will deliver TV by[protected]. I have contacted him on[protected] he says more two days required to repair. On[protected] again contacted service Centre by phone he say it takes more two days to repair I said I will lodge a complaint in consumer forum he says what you want to do you can do.
                      I call customer center no is [protected].and i asked how to start my A/C without remote callcenter guy told me i dont have a knowledge i give one no call the person is help you he give me Atul no [protected].i called atul no atul tell me i am not a concern person please call babaji no is [protected] i call babaji no but babaji no is switch off once agin i call callcenter no the guy pickup my no his name gajana i asked all the details one more time he said it take 48 hrs our service man visit your home with in 48 hrs

                      the same proceduere is when i asked the call center for my service i got 2 service is free when i purchase the A/c one guy came with one bursh and he do someting in in door a/c and but water for my out dooor plant and said service ho gaya.still my service is pending i cant call because same procedure is going when is call in call center after one year my remote is not working so i a called call center but no budy no budy can help me always one person told some other no other give me some other person

                      please help me for service and start my A/c as soon as possible

                      I filed a complaint regarding the service of my AC on 29th april but no one approach me then i again filed a complaint on 2nd may & complaint no:[protected].. But again no one approach me till date. I called customer care several times but nobody respond me in proffesional way,, They give me there Divisional head but he also not able to provide me any solution.... So i will be highly obligeful if you please look into these matter seriously...

Ltd.,DELHI for the bad service given by them for service of electronics.I am having an EWC contract for one year for my Onida WASHING machine in the name of Charu Chutani,B 53 2nd Floor ARDEE CITY,Gurgaon INDIA

                      Cell [protected] EXENTED WARRANTY CONTRACT No. 05939 dt[protected] but the company is not giving the satisfactory service and behaviour is unprofessional.Company's mechanic is always asking money for spares the job work in a manner and always try to repair using parts for which never receipt is issued.

                      my last complaint dated 03.12.2012 was attended after 3/4 days and i was charged RS 400/- FOR WHICH NO RECEIPT WAS ISSUED. the charges was made for wash tumbler which was cut open by service engineer, because he could not open couple of screws. wHY SHOULD I BE CHARGED if design is defective and service engineer cannot open the screws.

                      My latest complaint number [protected] dated 26.12.2012 with same problem no. is still pending and Mr. Komal,service engineer advises fan needs renewal,service engineer for last 2 days says that he is on the way to my home whenever he pick the call.

                      please explain why fan which is a electrical part should not be covered by EWC.
                      yes, service engineer visited after two weeks, washing machine did one wash and same problem with washer resurface.

                        I Had purchased an LCD Tv from ONIDA in 2008. And in December of 2011 the Television started giving us problems. When we would switch it on we could only hear the sound however no picture would come. I registered a complaint with the Onida Customer Service Department on 12th December 2011, Complaint no: [protected]. They said the a technician would visit my place to check the television, however no technician came. I called the customer service again to remind them and that is when the technician visited our place. After checking the television the tech said that there is a part that needs to be changed however he did not have the part with him so he would have to check the availability at the other centres. He said he would get back to us within a week. We waited however we did not hear from him, so I called the service center again and got to know that finding that one part for the television was difficult as they do not make the said model anymore. He said to call in a weeks time. Did that and again got the same answer with a new addition "THE SPECIFIC PART FOR THE TELEVISION IS NOT AVAILABLE ANYWHERE PLEASE CALL IN A WEEK". I called them again after a week and got the same answer and this has been going. Every week I call them I get the same answer.
                        Now it is close to 2 months and I don't see any solution to this issue.

                        This has been a learning for me that I should never get an ONIDA product as after 2 - 3 years If I have an issue with it I won't find a solution. I would just be told to wait and follow up every week and at the end I would have to just give up and I would have to advice my friends and family the same. NEVER BUY AN ONIDA PRODUCT....

                          With reference to above as my TV was not working properly. I contacted service centre Adonis Electronics Pvt.Ltd,keshwapur ,Hubli. They changed the motherboard two times & I had paid Rs 4800 for the same. Even after changing the board, the performance of the TV is not at all good. I am neither getting picture nor sound. In this regard, I had requested onida representative at Hubli & I requested them many times personally & also over the phone. All my efforts are futile. So, I bring this information to your knowledge.And they dont have any fear of consumer court ,they are asking me if you want u can lodge complaint in consumer court. This is what behavior of onida service center people.

                            I Mr.D.Rajasekaran bought an ONIDA 1.5 ton AC on 19.04.2009 from M/s.Jayaram's, 100 ft Road, Velachery, Chennai. For the first time the Gas Leakage complaint occurred and booked the complaint on 11.05.2011 to the Customer Care.The service person from Adonis Services, Pallavaram attended the problem by filling the gas and the people who attend the problem does not resemble a well trained people. In the mean time we entered through an AMC for Rs.5600 on 01.06.2011. Later on the same complaint occured several times for which I have to make several fone calls to either Adonis Service center or the technician number or the customer care centre to bring the people to my place.The complaints were booked on 22.08.2011,17.10.2011, 03.11.2011, 08.11.2011, 15.12.2011 and 27.12.2012 but still the problem has not been rectified. For the same problem they removed the In-Door unit two times and Out-Door to their place but still it is not rectified. For the last time they took the indoor unit for coil welding as there was a oil leakage and it was brought to home before twenty days but still it has not been installed. As I am fed up with this problem which creates a mental torture and disturbance for me and my family because of the technicians arrival, fone calls from the service centre and for not using the product. The product if it is not used for so many days also will make more defective. So, finally I have decided to book the complaint so please take necessary steps to change for a new AC. Kindly do the needful.

                              I have purchased 32'' ONIDA LCD Model 32 BRT KY Rock 1000 Watt ( LCO32DMSF301) TV from Cosmoelectronics Pimpri Address: Sukhwani Chamber, Pimpri , PCMC- 411018 , Maharashtra Landmark: Near Canara Bank . On 05 November 2010 , Now The TV has got blank. I have logged complaint at Onida Service Station thru cosmoelectronics Pimpri . Since of my purchase, the following problem I face

                              1. After some days, Sound was getting problem automatically; Engineer visited & rectified the problem saying that Cabel problem.

                              2. Secondly, after some days, Colour setting was getting dimmed automatically; Engineer visited & rectified the problem saying that software problem.

                              3. some days, Channal setting was getting Problem automatically; Engineer visited & rectified the problem saying that software problem.

                              4. Now only sound was available not picture, we complaint, engineer visited & rectified the problem Firstly saying it was software problem. We need Change kit

                              We had some problem picture so we called your service person to attended a problem he came and said some kit is the problem which need to replace and went after a day he kept on calling us he got kit board to replace he came set a board and there is some problem tv not displayed and he went back and again he came next it is same case ; now he saying Tv screen is the problem which will cost Rs.13000/-



                              it is really shocking to except that one of the branded and well known company's product having such critical problem in only one year. Can someone from ONIDA help me to get it repair with guarantee .

                              This is happing from past last one two month This is really a very poor service from him he spoling ONIDA name and we buy ONIDA because it is Indian company but trust is no more if this the condition of your service personal.

                              Hope you take case seriously and get us Tv back to normal. 32" LCD TV. Pl. do the needful. i m waiting for your reply...

                              I would like suggest the Onida company, If you TV can’t work properly within the warranty time, then what is guarantee, it will work for long term. Customers purchase the durables.

                              I understand Mr. Santosh Bhagwan Jawalkar had purchased a set of Onida 32' LCD on 05 Nov 2010. with one year Warranty on 08 Dec 2011 the said LCD got problem of display , on 13 dec 11 i lodged complaint to the dealer Cosmo electronics Pimpri Pune by whom i purchased " "

                              After four days they sent their technician , he checked the LCD set , & told us some kit has to be replaced & it would cost Rs. 7800/- but after 7 Days i negotiated to Rs 2500/-

                              he agreed for the same with one year warranty , he put new kit to the LCD set but problem has not got solved, then he took away my original kit with him to check this out at his end . After four days he told us that original kit is ok , the problem is might have with Display & it would cost Rs. 13000/-

                              Sir, the repairing cost of the TV set is equal to half of the original cost of New LCD, ( New Brand Cost Rs. 28000/- i have purchased ) this is happened immediately after complication of warranty period .


                              Please help me out how to resolve this issue , your positive reply awaited .

                                Its with great pain and anguish I'm writing this, I'm really regretting now to have taken an Onida Xaria Lite LCD TV due to very fallacious customer support (Adonis - Calicut branch) i'm receiving at this point of time.

                                I've registered a complaint dated on 15 November 2011, with Adonis customer care and my docket number is [protected]. It has been now close to two months and no action has been taken till date. Numerous time I've spoken to Mr. Sreejith (Calicut Branch - Service Manager) citing my issues and woes. Everytime I spoke to him he has pacified me stating the issue will be rectified within next couple of days. I feel betrayed with the kind of customer support I'm receiving from Adonis despite of the fact that I'm holding an extended warranty contract (EWC No. [protected]) for my LCD TV. With the kind of cold response I'm receiving from Adonis customer support team, I'm sure my issue will be further dragged to another couple of months if i doesn't escalate my problem.

                                Rather than keeping a customer unhappy for this long, please consider replacing my existing LCD TV with a new one under EWC or atleast have the courtesy to provide a standby TV.

                                This is my last resort for help to get my issue sorted out. I'm an optimist and strongly believe that there would be atleast a person from the management team who can listen to my problem and do the needful to get the issue resolved.                                     We had some problem picture colour change so we called your service person to attended a problem he came and said mother board is the problem which need to replace and went after a day he kept on calling us he got mother board to replace he came set a mother board and there is some problem tv not diplayed and he went back and again he came next it is same case ; now he saying Tv screen is the problem which will cost Rs.14000 and he went with out fixing the cabnite .

                                    This is happing from past one week
                                    This is really a very poor service from him he spoling ONIDA name and we buy ONIDA because it is Indan company but trust is no more if this the condiniton of your service personal.

                                      we purchased 29 inch colour tv from giriyas a dealer at blr on 14/3/2010.last month all of a sudden the tv was not working and we booked a complaint with onida customer care.they sent a technician n v really do not know his intensions he pulled out certain things n said some 3 components to be replaced,we said fine but after sometime he said the tv can be repaired only at service center so we delivered it ourself to the service center which is put up at wilson garden.the service manager prasanna kumar called us n told that the picture tube n other 4 components to be replaced n it is already 25 days that the set is not delivered to us nor any response from the service center.
                                      Mr.prasanna rao - [protected] .v r irritated.i think the amt v shell out for repair,i will get a new set itself.

                                      six month back my serviced by national electronics,chennai and circut board taken to service centre and he chaged rs.1400/- but he not informed which items replaced again last month tv not working same he taken circut board he chaged Rs.700/-but he not informed which items replaced again last one tv not working so for not done.you requested please black listed the national electronics,chennai .

                                        I have placed an order for ONIDA 32" Chrome LED TV (ROI) with star CJ on 21.10.2011 (order No[protected]. I paid the full amount of TV through credit card in advance. I have not received the consignment till now even though the star cj is committed to deliver the consignment within 10 working days. I have made so many telephone calls at customer care center of the company.Customer care executive told me that TV was sent to me through 'ALF Courier Company' and they provide me the doct no [protected] through which they sent me the consignment. I contacted to the courier company. They told me that they have not received the TV so far. After this I made so many calls to them. Every time they reply that our executive will call you back within 24 hours. But I never received the call within stipulated time. I received a call from them on 19.11.2011 they told me that the consignment will be delivered to you within 10 days from now. I received a call from 3-4 days back but before I could reply the call was disconnected and no further call. I tried my best to contact to their seniors but could not contact due to non availability of their contacts on website nor customer care provide me their contact nos. I am unable to understand what should I do to get the refund/consignment. This is my first purchase from star cj. If courier company have lost the consignment they should be penalised. Why to harass the customers.
