Dear Sir/Madam,


I bought a fully automatic Onida washing machine (Front loading) in PAI International ( Indira nagar )at Bangalore It was not working for the past three months and I made a complaint with Onida authorised dealer (complaint number [protected]). Even after a month no one turned up to check the machine and daily i was calling the Customer care. again i registered a new complaint ( New complaint number[protected] finally a person come to my place didn't make anything he told, now parts is not available and he went. still now no use.Everyday I was told that engineer will be coming that day, but no luck.

Finally, Customer care gave me some direct number to contact engineer, Mr. Prasanaroa and Mr. Murakikrishna I talked to him over phone many times, but he has not shown any interest in coming to my place and checking it.


I would really like to get it escalated to Onida management at least as I feel, its really cheating the Customer.

Onida Washing Machine — Bad:Worst:Onida Customer support

Its when i own an Onida washing machine for the past 2 Yrs and face a technical problem for more than 40days now. The problem does not only lie with the machine, also the philosophical term of Customer Support as being meant by Onida organization itself. As with the case of mine, i had called the unified customer support[protected] more than 8 times.But to my surprise i had a registration no:[protected] first on 13-July-2009, second 56382375 on 20-July-2009 and third 66380402 on 11-Aug-2009 afresh. Doesn't it sound rubbish and unprofessional hearing, all the complaint nos pertain to the same unresolved service problem. The efficient unconvincing reasoning on this case has been mentioned on human error, technical snag, operational procedure, blame game on the individuals, every other time you reach the customer support. But to the sadness, none has turned-up to resolve my issue yet and clueless when such would ever happen. Does Onida ever understand what Customer support least to be meant? Does the fate of the customer has to be suffering only with their franchisee M/s. Adonis? as the Onida website too do not work specifically only on the feedback page.Before requesting fellow countrymen to eject them out of business, the hunted customer feels for livelyhood of many individuals associated to the company, but why not the same be reciprocated by its employees on whom the company is built of.

I am shashidhar shetty exactly with same experience with onida
but co-incidence is at same showroom i had purchase ONDIA TUMBLE 50N & now after 3 years these i have to begthis even for a paid repair with 3 months followup now they are telling the part is out of date & i have to go for new machine.

who authorised this ONIDA company to take out a part from market within 3 years

i am going to take a seriously & who ever has the same experience contact me over [protected].

Let us teach a lesson this kind of day robbery.

    I bought ONIDA TV 21” in Aug 2010; it got repaired on Nov 2011,
    I made the complaint to ONIDA Service Center (which is in Coimbatore Saibaba colony-Tamil Nadu State).

    I had a very poor experience with them.

    Not attending the service call in time, I was calling them for last one week still they didn’t attend the service call.

    Whenever I call them in the morning, they reply that today's first call is yours but till evening no one will come and again I have to call them, they didn’t call and intimate that they are not coming today.
    Next day morning again I called them and replied that today we will come without fail, but there will not any reply thereafter.
    They are not providing the complaint number also.
    I decided not to buy ONIDA product in my lifetime.

    Suggestion
    ONIDA should find the right service center not only the dealers; else ONIDA will be no more in INDIA.

    i broght onida tv in jan 2008 in dubai i bring it to india but it didnt work so i called onida service center after two week they came and brought the tv board and after so many call they brought back the board nearly they took one month to repair that but its not working fine. now their is no display i called to service center it is in kilkattalai in chennai mr.balaji he told me to bring the tv to office i told it is in warranty so u come and take but he didnt respond me now tv is there but no use the service is very bad and service people r not responding wll
    Yes..very very bad service... I got a problem with my ONIDA TV ...These non-sense guys give the same reply..." 2 or 3 days.."... for past one month... DONT BUY ONIDA product...thats the better thing to do...then only ONIDA manufacturers will take care of customer service too...3rd we gave complaint..he came after 2 days... tried to solve the problem for 2 hrs...then he took the board... still not got the problem solved... Today also the same reply..'2 or 3 days'... today it is 24th september 2009..

    Onida Electronics — Poor Service

    I had purchased one Onida DVD Recorder DVR-3812 for Rs. 11000/- about an year back. I received a complaing abour disc loading and I gave the product to authorised Onida service centre for repair. After one month, I received their call that the part would cost Rs. 2200/-. I confirmed them to repair the said item. After one more month passed, I was told that the said part was yet to arrive. After that i called them up not less than 10 times to receive the same reply. At last I was told that the recorder could not be repaired due to non-availability of part as the company has discontinued the product. Now the product is lying with me and is of zero value. I had just used the same for 6-8 months and coughed out Rs. 11000/-. Any justice for this ??

    onida/television — Poor service by onida service centre

    Dear Sir

    I'M VERY MUCH DISSAPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE YOUR TECHNICIANS HAS DONE FOR MY TELEVISION. I HAD MADE A COMPLAINT ON MONDAY TO THE LOCAL ONIDA SERVICE CENTRE. ON TUESDAY I REMINDED THEM THAT NO ONE HAS TURNED FROM ONIDA, ON TUESDAY EVENING ONE OF YOUR TECHNICIAN CAME AND HE DID SOMETHING THEN IT WAS WORKING. AFTER ONE AND HALF OUR AGAIN THE TELIVION WENT OFF. NO PICTURE OR SOUND. YESTERDAY AGAIN I CALLED THEN YOUR TECHNICIAN CAME TO HOME AND HE DID THE SAME LIKE WHAT HE DID ON TUESDAY (SOME TEMPORARY ADJUSTMENT TO WORK FOR MAY BE 1 ONE OR TWO HOUR) YESTERDAY EVENING AGAIN IT WENT OFF. IT TOO BAD SERVICE FROM YOUR PART. I THINK YOUR TRAINEE TECHNITIANS EXPERIMENTING ON MY TELEVISION. I THINK THEY ARE LEARNING HOW REPAIR A TELEVISION ON MY tv SET.

    ONIDA TV 21' — SERVICE CENTER

    Dear Sir,
    We given complain to onida service center in kayan regarding onida TV the matter is our TV set was working condition but when onida's machanical was came and in working misteks our TV sarkit out of service.But befour one month this problem was happen but still service senter head Mr. Yadav give us unsatisfied service plz.

    we purchased 29 inches poison theatre tv . on may 13th the tv was not working . we booked a complaint they came and saw and they the picture tube was gone they took and went after two weeks that is (on 26th may) they came and attacthed but it was not working too good ..then today ie 28th again the tv got offed and not working we called the onida service company but they didnt attend the phone...we paid cash too for the first service which they came on 26th of may ie RS. 2200.the bill no is 2460, job no [protected], sl.no.4005755... so please register our complaint and immediadtly take action against the complaint please...

      I am in Annanagar i have purchase ONIDA TV (slim ultra) in vasanth & co four months before, after that my tv is not working . i have registered my complient in onida customer care on 08.10.11 , i have not received any proper answer from annanagar branch, i have spoken many times to all (more than 20 times) they told me you have to pay Rs,2500 and i also accepted to that, after that one new board has been changed but channel board not changed due to unavailability from Onida on 02.11.11 , then they told we will change channel board after few days . i have paid 1000 for this board on the same date

      After that tv is not working properly, daily i am calling to annanagar branch, they are telling we will come and see, but they are not coming

      I have spoken to the below persons for last 1 1/2 month

      I want to replace my TV, i need new TV , I am requesting you to help and resolve this issue,

      If i am not getting any response on this I am going to file the case in consumer court, this is for your information

        I have purchase Onida LCD TV of 21 Inch in Month of Jan 211, Since of my purchase, the following problem I face

        1. Only sound was available not picture, we complaint, engineer visited & rectified the problem saying it was software problem.
        2. Secondly, after some days, Colour setting was geting dimmed automatically, Engineer visited & rectified the problem saying that software problem.
        3.Now again , TV it get automatically On & Off within the fraction second, I have register complaint.

        I would like suggest the Onida company, If you TV cannt work properly within the warranty time, then what is gurantee , it will work for long term. Customers purchase the durables.

          i've purchased onida sparkle washing machine 20days back from pai international yelahanka , they are exploiting customers from coupon and scrtch card frm mft i didnot get anything frm mft that i got onida bonanza offer which entitles to one year extended waranty on scratch card . And the thing is u can not contact the onida customer care , the onida is the worst in washing machine range as i don't have knowledge of other products of onida . Please take action on this criteria

            I had purchased ONIDA TUMBLE 50 N washing machine before 3 years at Pai international, Bangalore & in June 2011 it had a problem of extreame sound problem & the warranty period was crossed & i have decided i will pay & get this repaired by the Onida company. i I have contacted the company authorised service wing ADONIS Electronics, Pvt Ltd, bangalore & after several request their person inspected machine n bearing has a problem & entire tub should be replaced at a cost of Rs 3000/- which will take 10 days with site pickup & delivery & i agreed for pick up next day. after that no response n skipping the calls & after 2-3 months continuous follow up calls they picked up the machine on16/09/11 & now after 5 weeks they are telling the model is out of date & this part not available & i have to purchase a new machine.

            I am wondering howcome a waching machine ( not a mobile handset) part is not available within 3 years only & company is cheating the customer.

            yes its true, i've purchased a sparkle 62s 20days ago frm pai international yelahanka, its making some problem in digital system where it is not working frm last week iam trying to contact customer care but lines are outdated . And here comes the gaint retailer pai international, the sales executives are least botherd about the customer, they are exploiting customers . I'm realy fedup of this indian society . I shouldn't be born in india . This country is not ours

              Hello Sir,
              Am having ONIDA POISON TV. Am having Annual Maintenance Charges for one year cost Rs. 1600. Bill no: 75751. Service centre no: ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD.

              Last september my TV had switch problem issue. Have contacted customer service on 30th september 2011 and executive came to house on 4th november 2011. He identified the fault, but not taken any action and simply he left the house stated that, he will bring spare part and will come to house soon. and got signed from my father. After the visit, he never came back to my home. 21days before my television is fully dead and not working. Have called customer service so many times, but there is no response from them, even from Branch Manager nor from Branch Incharge.

              Looking forward your support in fixing my television issue.

                Washing Machine has been repaired but LCD is dead now already shown to your Engineers and i am facing issue from last 8 months i am unable to watch TV now from last one months but still no response from your side how much it will take for you peoples for replacement or refund

                  They have committed to send Onida service engineer for demonstration to Bokaro within 3days.

                  But till today they not send any body to demonstrate. Further, Bigbazar people don’t responding my calls.



                  So please to send service engineer to do the same.

                    I have purchased an Onida 32" LED TV, model LEO32HMS in GIRIAS HRBR layout branch.
                    When purchasing the same, I enquired all the details and the dealer told that all features are available in the above mentioned model. The same has been also listed in the user manual provided with the TV.
                    To my surprise, AV OUT is not working when the technician came for installation. He told that there is some defect with that part and he will be replacing it soon. I asked him that the TV is brand new and how come there will be a defective part in it. He told that it happens some times and he will replace the part ASAP. After calling them almost 15 times, he again visited my place after a week with out the part to be replaced. I called the dealer and he did not support me and more over he says that only Onida service centres must be contacted for any issues.
                    At last when the technician came, he started saying that this model will not support AV OUT. This is designed like that. I was shocked and called the service centre head and he also states the same.
                    The audio output from the TV speakers is worst.
                    When I checked with other 32" LED TV models of other brands, all comes with AV OUT feature and works fine.
                    I also checked with other dealers in different show rooms to my surprise, Onida 40" LED TV works fine and they say that even 32" must work.

                    I called the service centre lot of times, how ever I get the same answer. They are not even bothered to visit my place and check the exact problem.

                    I called the Registered Office which is in Mumbai and spoke to one by the name Alex and he promised that a service technician will call back in 1 hour and will rectify the problem. I waited for more than5 hours and no response.

                    The service is worst in all aspects.

                    Beware of purchasing ONIDA products. Even dealers play safe and do not take ownership when it comes to service.

                    It has been 5 days and still the service technician not arrived. No responce from the Dealer. They do not even bother to pick the phone.

                      Our new ONIDA AC (1.5 ton, split) was installed on 21 Apr 2011. Got it serviced for noise disturbance in September 2011.

                      It stopped working on 15 Oct 2011, Sunday (the display shows E6). After booking a complaint, the technicians came and checked the AC on 16 Oct, Monday, but could not fix the problem. When asked, the answer came, “There is some problem with the outdoor unit and spare parts are required”. These spare parts have to come from Hyderabad (we live in Vijayawada, 6 hrs journey by train) and it will take 3 days for these parts to come to Vijayawada.”

                      4 working days have passed since then. I enquired at the local Vijayawada office and was told the parts are not available yet.

                      It’s Friday midnight, while I am sending this complaint and weekend is here. Next week is Diwali (Wednesday) which means more holidays and I wonder how many more days, we have to suffer without AC. My little one is having an extremely difficult sleep since then.

                      Our city is also facing a 6 hour power-cut everyday. October is a pleasant month for the major parts of India but very hot and humid here.

                      I expected a speedy and effective solution from a reputed organization like ONIDA but am very much disappointed. I wonder how long does it take for those people whose equipments are not covered under warranty.

                        Dear all,
                        please dont buy ONIDA LED TV anywhere. Because the product get repair very shortly. I bought one ONIDA LED TV and it got problem.
                        I called to customer care, technician head, and concern technician. But still i could get back from them. They are not responding our calls. Their people
                        attend call and said that we will come today and get back to you. Still they are never get back to me. Aware of ONIDA Products.

                          My Name is Hemant Singh from delhi. I am sad owner of ONIDA TV product. In 2008, i got onida true slim 29 inches TV. It worked satisfactory till one year until i discover truth about this fraud Indian MNC company and their product quality. Soon after one year when my product warranty expire, i faced similar issues like other owner of this TV. Picture quality was bad , TV stopped working, IC burnt and many other problems which cant be fixed. i tried hard got TV repair 2 times, It work for few months and then same problem. Then i did lots of research about this TV True slim TV and found that there is 2 manufacturing defect in this TV which could not be fixed at any cost. Guys if you are planning to buy this TV trust me your are wasting your money or i[censored] already have this TV and thinking to repair it again >>> forget it >>> this TV cannot be fixed. I have already spent RS 2000 on repair without any result. I recommend not to buy any ONIDA product. Even Onida people give me this product free of cost >>> i would love to trash it to bin.I hate this product and this company.

                            I have purchased Onida Oven with convection, model Black Beauty PC 21, Model No. MO21CJS15S IN February 2008. The PCB (Start buttons / operations electronic board) failed within wartranty period. The company has replaced the piece. The same problem with new piece within one year span, the company has changed its PCB on 16.12.2010 gainst payment of Rs.1200/- for PCB plus service charges Rs.360/-. Now after after 10 months again the PCB is failed to work. The complaint is recurring. The reply from the Call Centre is to replace the PCB against payment of Rs.150/- for visit fees, Rs.300/-400/- for service charges and spare parts charges as applicable.

                            It means we have saved the electricity by using the product and the total savings to be paid to the company for its parts replacement.

But now the problem is that our LCD panel found defective.. & We have shown the onida service engineer bt he is charging us 16000/-. Sir, I m not able to spend more than 7000/- for repairs.

                                  I had buy 3 Onida A/C’s from Delhi & its covered with AMC services from Adonis Electronics continuing till 3 years, But after completing 3 year company told me that we can’t provide AMC services because Onida is not providing AMC services to any ONIDA A/c after 3 years. Only facilitate labor services & its not includes any parts under AMC.

                                  So when we buy the A/C that time either dealer or company told us above points but after 3 years it’s coming under picture. So you can say in an other words ONIDA A/C life is 3 years.

                                  So any one buying Onida A/C please thinks over it twice or thrice may be your next victim for the same.

                                    I had purchased Onida 29 Flat TV 290XP350BL on 29.12.2010. After use of 6 months it has come up with a problem as after 15 min its picture made larger

                                    automaticaly sometime 3 times of its original. I had made complaint regarding it thrice but there is no resolution. Even the second time technician had

                                    taken the kit for 1 week and when he came he told that now sir we have changed one chip this will work fine. On the same day after half an hour the problem

                                    occoured again. I had again complaint it and the complaint no. [protected]. No technician has come even after daily complaint at delhi office. Please resolve it ASAP.

                                    February' 09 i have purchased a 29inch CRT TV from Great Eastern Kolkata .In May' 09 tv had shutdown automatically nexr day i call to the service centre he has came after 3 days and after cheked he said that
                                    fault in motherboard we will replace but you have to discuss with my boss {Mr. Amol Sen } .When i told him what's the problem in my TV . He said that you have to wait 15 days Because Parts will come from Mumbai Headoffice .After one month i called him again and asked for replacement he said that your parts has not came .And he again said it will take 15 days now his parts has not came yet . Now when i call him he is not receive my call . Now i am so harresh for taken this problem . Sir i request you to please look into this matter and solve my problem.

                                      On Sept 18,2011 I bought a new Onida 21” Xcite 300 color tv in cash from M/s Shree Rajendra Departmental Stores at Sangvi, PCMC , and they delivered it that day at 11 pm. During demo I could not guess that its cabinet is broken in three different places, and the delivery box was not in good condition. After the delivery men went away I detected the broken portions, so immediately I called the dealer and told him everything, and at that time he agreed to replace it by Tuesday, i.e. Sept 20. But on Tuesday he entirely denied to replace it and blamed me that it was broken by me. I tried to confide him and requested many times to replace it. But he denied and complained me in the same rude manner. I honestly declare that the cabinet has not been broken in my own hands; anyway it was already broken before reaching my home.Do the needful for its replacement with new one
