Onida LCD brand new not working

Hi all, i bought Onida 32inch LCD, 32 Plus XRMBL model. Brand new TV not working. no picture only voice.after so much struggle got a replacement from dealer VASANTH&CO (who never supports customer). Again same problem replacement TV also not working. Brand new LCD TVs are not working see the quality of ONIDA.

So dont go for ONIDA LCD TVs. Buy some other brands.
That too do not buy from VASANTH&CO ....

M/s adonis person came at my home for repairing of TV sets ,take money & go back after 10 minutes TV sets gets in faulty position . I launched a complaints to M/s Adonis Electronics pvt. ltd. but now till date & time they sleeps .

Onida - 21 Inches Television Set — Defective set

Respected Sir,

We have purchsed a television set of onida make from Damodar Home Appliances, Pune on 01.04.09 vide receipt no 12808 / 01.04.09.

On 5th may we have facing problem to visulaise the picture as it get started to shrink the screen from bottom of the Screen.

We have lodged a compalint at customer care and the techincian visited our residence on 20.05.2009. He told that the ic of the set is out of order and he can open the set and will repaired it.

As the company had given warranty of 1 year we would like to get it replaced with new set. But Mr.Bhujbal of Damodar Home appliance ([protected]) is refused to give replacement.

Please help me in this regard.

    I had purchased WM-WO60SHNIWH on 31st december, It was not working from july,
    my 1st complaint no:[protected], registered on 31st july, then 2nd complaint no:[protected], registered on 18th september, today the 3rd november till today Im calling to customer care but the service is not done yet, So I have to go to Consumer court get the justice.
    I had complaint for past 3months no respond, my 1st complaint no.[protected] which is registered on 31st July, 2nd complaint no: [protected] this is registered on 18th september but today 3rd november still it is not working service side is not responding. I have to register the complaint in consumer court because, I have purchased on december 31st 2009, The warranty period also comming to end.

        Dear Sir, I recently solved an onida LCD tv problem, after a long hassle, where the LCD conked in 13 months time. They charged 4500, but I paid only 1000. Not even a month passed, now 29" oxygen which was bought in jan 2007 for Rs.17,000/-,picture tube is gone. Very worst products and services, I dont know who approves the genuinity of these products and the quality. They are charging 8500 rupees, which is the cost of new 29" tv in the market. Pls support......Ra

        hi my name is rakesh i brought onida 29oxygen tv in the year of 2007 after 4 yr picture tube is failed now the picture tube cost is 7000 so what i will do before purchasing onida i have a BPL tv is there its work 14 yrs without any fail

          I am Vivek from Chennai. I am working with a IT firm here in Chennai. I Purchased a ONIDA 29'' oxygen Color TV ( Model # : 10290XFS , SL.No # : 4029486) some 3 yrs back. Its been under AMC(Annual maintenance scheme) for last 2 yrs. For a last one year , I am having frequent troubles with my TV. Recently my TV went completely dead, I Lodged a complaint (complaint # [protected]) on September 15 , 2010 at Adonis Electronics PVT LTD, a authorized onida service center. After 2 weeks of my complaint, a service person(Vishnu Vardhan) from adonis electronics came to our home and inspected the TV. He said that there is a problem with the TV's Main board and took away the board for repairing it. Now its been almost a month and half, I have'nt heard back from the service center. I have called up the service center's customer care and have told them about this. They are saying your request is in progress and will be completed as soon as possible but for almost 3 weeks i getting this answer from them. I purchased onida TV because of its reliability. But if the service is too poor like this and i am having frequent troubles with Onida, How would i likely to be purchasing a Onida appliance in future. I request the service center to Fix my TV as earlier as possible. Its almost going to be 2 month, I am sitting at home with out my TV.

            Onida Pvt Ltd — accident during cooking

            i have recently purchased an onida microwave oven,power convection 21 litres.as told to me by the person in charge,in the egg plate given to us,i broke the egg ,put masala ,covered it and put on 100 degree temp for 1 minute to cook.when it was done,i took it out suddenly when i was taking it out in a plate,it popped off on my face and in my eyes,it was soo hot that i got a burnt in my eye,in cornia.nobody in onida customer care center answered my question as to why it popped up suddenly?
            i tell you people not to buy this product as they are least concern about the customers.i would have lost my eye....

            Onida — Service not proper

            i purchased Onida-21" color tv on December 2007 from

            Maharaja Electronics-Powai,
            from Mr Rawat,
            having his office land line no.[protected].

            And within few months the picture on screen compressed and only the part is seen in upper part of screen.
            When complained numerous time,they send a person and did something on the set,after that the matter gone worse.
            Since for many days now we are tryint to call him we even lodged complain on phone and he assured us.
            We even called to his service staff but he stopped recieving the phone.
            We now just try either to replace the set or send the legal notice thru consumer forum.

            Mirc / Onida — Replacement for Onida

            I had brought a Microwave Black beauty 28L from Onida through their dealer M/s. Harsha, Mangalore. On 10th November 2007, There was a dent on the top frame and had reported the same for replacement on 11th November 2007, subsequently the matter was reported to their local office and the said part was taken by their representative, In spite of repeated calls the said part has not been replaced nor I am getting proper reply from the concerned department. When ever we call, We get a reply will do it in a day or two but it is not been replaced till day.

            Request kindly help in this matter, as it is also one month.

            Onida/25-NVG(E) — T.V. Not working

            We have purchased the ONIDA 25-NVG(E) Television, used for nearly 8 (Eight) years, before three months it got repaired and we complainted our nearst dealer in TIRUPATI, Chittoor (Dist.) Andhra Pradesh they got it repaired for three times and said the YOUK (Spare part) got repaied in, and it is not available here in Andhra Pradesh and we should purchase it from MUMBAI (Maharastra) and they gone.. So I request for you to solve our problem in this matter...
            I had complained about my Onida Micro oven 25 L on First week of March 008. Now after 25 days of the complaint, i feel like cheated, insulted.

            Nature of Complaint : Stains on the front glass door

            History
            I had bought Onida 25L microwave oven on 17th November 2007 at Chennai Saravana Stores. After some times it got stains in the front glass and menu display completely. But that time it was in working condition.
            Regarding this stains we registered compliant in the customer service at Chennai (Compliant number: 66380464 and on first week of March 2008).

            One Gentle from customer service came, by accidently he Brocken the front glass during his esteemed service

            After that we used regularly call to the service centre and Service manager in adayar (Near to our location).He will tell one day and another day we will do it.

            Last Wednesday (26/03/2008) another service person from onida came with a new front glass but that size is not suitable to my oven. Since mine is 25 L and He bought 20Ls

            He told that the next day he will come and fix the correct one. But still situation is same

            On Last Saturday March 29, 2008 I called service manager (Mr Chandra sekhar from Adonis customer relation Center Adayar- chennai). He said very rudely that he is busy now and busy with the audit .He cannot do anything the glass it has to come from Mumbai so it will take some more time. Now, After 25 days doing all the experiments with two service engineers Mr Chandra sekhar (service Area Manager-adayar chennai) is telling I needs to wait for 2 weeks, since Audit is going on.He is talking very rudely and in silly manner.

            I am really fed up of calling Service Engineer again & again.

            Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify my Micro Oven problems.
            Then I had one more request to onida please keep some able persons in prime areas. (At least who can speak in politely) in customer service as relation ship managers.

            I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

            Onida 5.1 DVD Candy — DVD

            I HAD purchased Onida DVD 5.1 9000 series candy new model.


            Salesmanship is just great. They push their sales for all it is worth but when it comes to service, they are a big zero.

            Within a month of purchasing the DVD player, it gave problems and I could not use it further.

            I regd. a complaint with the local service centre at Indiranagar with no effect. They promised to send a service person within 24 hours but it is now more than 3 days with my complaint unattended.

            I would not recommend anyone to buy an Onida product in future unless they are prepared to get the product serviced themselves.

            I am Sreekanth. T resident of Hyderabad and my native place is D: Karimnagar.
            I bought an ONIDA Thunder 29” TV in the month of January 2008 at Tirumala Music centre (P) Ltd., Begumpet Hyd. I booked it in the showroom but they are having their stock at uppal. So from there they send us in the transport for which I paid extra. I wondered by seeing the LG AC once I received the piece, then I had to send the piece back to get my TV, for which I paid transportation fee extra again.
            When I asked about the quality check of the piece to the Manager –operation (Mr. V. Satyender) who is working in the show room. He told that every piece will be quality tested. On top of all these frustration, I found a problem in my TV once I received. i.e some black lines are being displayed in the middle of the screen. I called up both show room and service centre to explicate the problem.
            I wondered that the lines are not being displayed when a guy from service came to my home to check. But I have observed that the lines are being displayed sporadically about 3 or 4 hrs or sometimes whole the day. So I asked for the replacement of the piece. They said it can’t be done.

            How I can get satisfied with the piece which is having issues, how can I get the justice? Please suggest.

            I was really cheated by TMC and in away by ONIDA also since they are giving products with out testing.

            Sorry! to say this but I have been cheated by UNILET, Hanumanthanagar, Bangalore.

            I brought a 21 Oxygen Thunder (Onida 21’’ Falt CTV) from the above mentioned shop on 07 May 2008 by paying 11200, purchased in the name of Sumitha Raju

            But next day when I observed there was almost a dead sound from left side speaker of a new TV (they say new TV, I can’t belive) & also I make out an error is that a screw is missing in the left side of the set. Not only this when checked the box packed date was Aug 2007.

            I really disappointed by this type of cheating done by the above mentioned shop.

            I have complained & they say they will send an eng to check. I don’t understand what the hell he will check, its clear that the set they given to me is a faulty & they have cheated me. This is beacuse when i went there to buy this model they have taken 8000 from my card, made a bill at 11:30 AM & then they said they don't have stock at that point & will deleiver to my place before 3:00PM agreed & waited til 3:30, called them again same answer 5:30. So i got frustarted & went to the shop & scolded them for not delivering the TV, again they said 8:30, not deleveried. At 9:30 they called & delievered.
            But i couldn't make out at that point of time that they have cheated me by giving a serviced/faulty TV.


            Please do take a proper action on them.

            Experiencing lot of problems after buying ONIDA fully automatic washing machine from TMC, DR.AS RAo Nagar..TMC donot help their customers to get the required service from its companies..

            Also, when directly contacted ONIDA, there is no response from their side..ONIDa customer care is very very very POOR, the service executives are non cooperative and lazy. I am waiting for their ONIDa service for the last two months.

            i had given a white material which i bought from the same shop where i gave this white coloured cloth for dying purpose they saidits dyable but the colour that they died was completly different from wat i had asked for. the material is for rs 600 now they r not ready to take it back n give my monry back...wat shud i do?..

            Onida - Color TV — service not received

            I possess an Onida color TV 21 Black. It is under EWC (extended warranty which I purchased). On 25th July evening my television stopped working. I have lodged a complaint on 26th. Technician attended the complaint. he identified the problem and told he would be able to resolve problem within 2-3 days. Thereafter I called various time. He told me he will send technician today, he will send technician tommorow.

            I am fed up with their answer. But no solution.
            I had complained about my Onida TV on 20th August 2008. Till Now there is no response from TMC or that servce center, really very bad service, i feel like cheated, insulted

            Onida — missing video on the sides

            Hello,
            i purchased Onida Oxygen Thunder 29 inch TV 8 months back. everything was good until i was beginning to doubt that i am missing some video on the sides, especially on the right side. this was confirmed while zooming a DVD Movie. now i am sure that i am missing some video on the TV Programmes also. can anybody help or suggest.

            Onida Mi Crowave Oven — Replacement of Indicator board

            I called your service centre - ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LIMITED, Visakhapatnam to attend to our Microwave oven Model:25GTTR on 17/08/2008. On 18/08/2008 one Mr. A.L.Ramakrishna, your personnel has come and checked the oven and said that the indicator board is not working and has to be replaced. He told me that the cost of the board is Rs.900. He charged me Rs.320 for the visit and I duly paid it vide receipt no:2052 d/18/08/2008. He said he will place an order to the board and let me know. I have made number of attempts to call your personnel, went to the office several time to check whether the board has arrived or not. The reply is still waiting. Today I called the office and asked them, what exactly is the problem, they say the item has not been despatched from the company. I asked them did they put up a notice to this regard and the reply is "yes" and told me the Job No: [protected] d/19/08/2008.
            I have to submit that the service rendered at the office is not upto the mark. I feel that purchasing a Onida product is a mistake.
            To make me think otherwise, please see that my work is attended at the earliest.

            Onida 14 — Poor quality service from service centre

            I have used your TV 14" colour Smart model since last 7 years. I was very happy with this TV, but suddenly it started to show black & white picture. I have lonched a complain in a onida authorized service centre and it was rectified by them on 14.04.08, but again the same problem was raised on 05.05.08 and again I called the person from there and it was rectified. That time the service man to me that the rectification was not done properly by first one. Unfortunately today I have faced the same problem in my TV. I have called the service person but I am very much with this kind of poor service. I would request u to pls. suggest me the proper way to get good service from your authorized service centre. I feel they are doing this thing intentionally to get the service charge in every month. I repeat again that before this incident my TV was absolutely ok since last three years.

            As my TV was under breakdown, i had launched compliant in ONIDA service centre at Andhei cal;l centre, After 5 days past there was none of the fellow visited to repair the TV . i almost Spent 100 of rupees callin service centre at vasai but lady at vasai pick the call and not responding .
            This is shear sign of negligance and irresponsibility from your part, Pls recruit people who will Respond quickly and Attn compliants . I will Expect from u to Bombard People responsiblle for this event Hope to Hear from u soon.

            Onida service in Bangalore not available. I have registered complaint in Callcentre after 20+ days still none have attended. I have again re registered complaint 5 days back still no response.

            Onida - Hydrofall 68 — No attention to complaint

            We had purchased Onida- HYDROFALL 6.8 semi-automatic washing machine. Chasis No. 1820 from M/s. JP ELECTRONICS, Borivali - West, Mumbai -92. The product is still under warrant period.

            The pulsator is not working, till 25.10.2008. we lodged complaint with customer care on 27.10.2008, but till date all effert are invain. Neither Customer care office nor techinican paying attention to the compeint.

            Even after repeted reminder, no one has turn up yet till 03.11.2008.
            MAIN IC FAILED, IC PRISE 1300 (INCLUDING ALL REPAIRING CHARGES) WITHIN 1.5 YEARS.
            recently i brought onida micro oven 25ltrs from total mart from bengalooru .its already 15 days over so for no one come and we give the demo on how to use it..? every day we are cl total mart peoples they are also not giving proper answer .really we are fed up with total mart and also onida service...now we dont know what to do ...but we had a very bad experiance with onida.next time we need not think about onida and also not refer to any one to buy onida equipments...

            Onida - Washing Machine - Hydrofall — Poor and irresponsible service centre operation

            We have a Onida washing machine which is almost 4 years old.

            Outlet drain pipe was not functioning properly. We registered complaint. Onida service person came and made repair. but still water was flowing out of the top casing.

            When i complained to the person, he said that we have to wait for one week and hat he would come again and correct it.

            When no one turned or more than 1 month we have launched a fresh complaint again.

            Nw they say that this wold be considered as a fresh complaint and would be charged seperatly also.

            What should I do and how should I proceed on this?

            Onida 29 Poison S.no.0019 — delay in rectifying complaint under warranty

            sir, I purchased onida 29 poision colour t.v. on 18/10/05. Just after its wrantty expired it started showing problems.
            therefore I took 1 year extra warranty on 21/07/2008. Again on 04/12/08 my set become totally dead. Iwrote a complaint on 04/12/08 to their service centre M/s Adonis Electronics (P) Ltd. aliganj, Lucknow. After 2 days their engineer came and told me that he will change a part tomorrow but nobody turnedup. When I contacted the service centre they told me that the same part is not available with them and it will take about 20 days to get repaired my T.V..So I asked him for any standby arrangement but they denied. Now a days T.V is an essential item & my family is suffering a lot due to delay in their part. My complaint no. is 380255 dt. 04/12/08.Onida is a very big company but its services are very poor.Why not a legal action should be taken against the company?

            Onida Slim TV — Not getting proper answer

            My name is Nagdev Pintu M. I have applied a loan for TV from Bajaj Finance from Vadodara and they are not giving me proper answer now. So please do needfuls for that. At least give me the answer in Yes or No to clear my mind.

            Sir,
            In continuation to my e-mail Dt 06.01.2009, I would like to inform you that your P.R.O from Nungambakkam office contacted me over phone on 08.01.2009 and told me that she has received the e-mail from your office and will be delivering the T.V on 09.01.2008 between 10 Am to 12 Pm, since board has been received from Bombay on the same day. But today your serviceman rang up and told that the T.V is ready and insisted me to pay half the cost of the board i, e Rs 3, 000/- since I come under the AMC scheme.
            Earlier, when I contacted your Nungambakkam office about the coverage under the AMC scheme they misguided me that LOT means the board. So I agreed to pay half of the amount Rs 3, 000/- which they demanded. But it is inferred that in your AMC scheme agreement that repairs will be undertaken except P&T, Yoke and LOT (Which is a separate part) and main board does not come under the exception clause which is now confirmed by the your staff.
            Even after 25 days from the date of my first complaint made on 15.12.2008, your company has not returned the T.V duely repaired even after your instructions. But I regret to say that if the T.V has not been delivered by 3 Days.I am forced to file a suit in the consumer court for a claim of Rs 20, 000/- for the abnormal delay and mental stress and inconvenience at my old age caused by your company.

            We had bought a onida washing machine last year and the model number is W062FM11W at Arcot Anbu Eloctronics. For service we used to call to the service centre and Service manager in vellore, Adonis Electronics(Near to our location) and we were informed that the cabin has to be changed in that case they said we ll be informed when cabin arrives but then they haven't taken any step to inform us. We have made several phone calls but they give us some false excuses. He will tell one day and another day we will do it.
            I am really fed up of calling Service centre again & again. Now I am humbly request Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify.
            I hope ONIDA will try it's best to maintain the customer faith & esteem. Otherwise I need to drop Onida from my mind.

            Onida - 21 KY Theater — No action being taken on complaint

            We have logged the complaint for our television fault to the Onida call center; the complaint number is [protected] on dated 7 jan 09. We have extended the warranty period of our television set and our warranty number is 0813942, since it is almost 7 days passed from the date of complaint launched and we have not received any feedback from the Onida service centre. Every day we used to call the Onida Service and call centre but we get the assurance that the service engineer will visit to attend the problem by today but the fact is that the TODAY of the service person has not yet came.We are getting the same answer over of days, but could not see the actual action from the Ondia.

In a spam of 11 months i got a problem in this product, Water started leaking from the bottom of the indoor unit, then i have given a complaint to Onida service station ( ADONUS ELECTRICALS - Valasaravakkam branch ) through phone for the service in WARRANTY PERIOD. To connect the line to the concern person, it takes 5.45 min . After transfering the line, Telecaller made a registry and gave me a code / reference number[protected] . While having a conversation with them i mentioned, there are 3 elders in which 2 are above 60 of age . Also our fan is not working properly, in this situation even though fan is running the climatic heat is not tollerable . So i made a humble request that AC is most essential . So kindly send the service person as soon as possible . They said according to the rules they have booked our complaint and it will take 2 days of time .I have given the complint on friday . As sunday is a holiday they said only monday they can come and attend. I called them more than 5 times on Monday mentioning, Elders are suffering a lot & since 4 days we havent slept peacefully. On my 5th call at 2.30pm they said Mr.Senthil Kumar has been alloted for service and at 5.00pm i enquired my house members weather anyone has arrived for the service ?, they said till now no one has come.Then i called the customer care again and remainded at 5.30pm. Still now no one has arrived for the service & no action has been taken. I thought branded items are more worth & responsible . Giving money outside to a local mechanic is not too tough, he charges only 450/-, but i hope servicing by a ONIDA mechanic would be a perfect attempt that too in a Warranty Period. BUT now i feel for it. eventhough my house members insisted me not to go for ONIDA AIR CONDITIONAR, I went in search for it due to the BRAND & expected it might last long.

            Am really fed up of calling Service centre again & again. My humble request to Onida Authority to step in and take the quick, sharp & necessary action to rectify. This is not an order, Whomsoever reads it, " YOU EXPERIENCE OUR PAIN, 4 NIGHTS STRUGGLING WITH MOSQUITOS & HEAT . HOW COULD ELDERS SUSTAIN "

            Onida Hydrofall — Dryer drum not functioning

            Onida, to my experience is the worst product to buy, either washing machine or TV.

            None of the Onida products are ok for more than 2 years. End of 2nd yera all the problem starts.

            My machine the drier drum has started giving problem. Service person came adn told that motor and water seal are gone. But now, they say that motor is fine and water seal alone has to be changed.This will cost Rs.1000 including service charge.

            But it is almost 10 days now...still no person has come and changed it and the call centre persons don't respond to our calls

            i have purchased 1.5 Ton split AC SG18TRDN in march 2009,
            on installation i found there is no cooling, i called up the supplier and he send person after 2 days.

            I have one onida Tv modle Black. It has some prob and its not working. when searched in net for service center I found the number[protected]. He gave me 2 numbers and later on one more mobile number

            I had bought Onida 1.5 ton Window A/c on 02 February 2008 at Chennai Saravana Stores. And machine installed by Adonis customer Care centre peoples and they charged for installing fee. They tell you get 2 free service, but no one came for service till now. Regarding this I registered compliant in the customer service at Chennai (Compliant number: 66380325 on 08.06.2009).             Onida Hydrofall Washing Machine — Bad Service

            Hello everyone,
            THIS MAY BE A BIG STORY TO READ BUT PLEASE SPEND SOME MINS TO AVOID SUCH A BAD EXPERIENCE

            * Hope everyone are Good but nobody will be fine if they have ONIDA product.
            * The Big Mistake i ever made in my life is purchasing ONIDA product. Let me explain my problem
            I bought a ONIDA WASHING MACHINE which was working fine only for 6 month(dont think its a big period). Fifteen days before one of the machine switch broken and i launched a complaint immediately, but people in ONIDA SERVICE CENTERS are more active once u launch a complaint immediately they will give a COMPLAINT NUMBER(i think they got a SUPER XXL computer) and they said within two days service engineer will FIXe issue(WOW).
            I waited for three days(because i was waiting the second day for almost 8 hrs from morning to evening waiting for this ...and i made almost 100 calls for this service center in which my bill payment roased to 2000 RS.
            Huh atlast i really got irritated on 10th day and they said we will send an engineer at 3 pm. Dont think that they have send a engineer, he came next day at 6 pm and said sorry for the delay and he said the reason as too much traffic near my area(please dont laugh). I didnt respond to him and asked him to chk whts the problem. He said its the problem with the switch(great altast he found the problem which is at the top of the machine and it took almost 2 hrs to find the problem because he was inside the washing machine and the problem is outside in the switch(wht a engineer) really he is so brilliant.
            Big comedy is he called one of his supervisor and said its a problem with the switch. The person in the other end said he has the stock and promised problem will be fixed tomorrow. As usual no one came the next day again i called the service people and shouted at him. He said we dont have a stock(wht a service) and big comedy is he also got tensed as off he called me. Today on 25th MOn 09 he said it takestwo days to get the SWITCH, climax scene is within five min again one of the service engineer from the same place he called me and said we will fix the issuetoday before 3pm(wht a miscommunication because he is calling from the same phone and same place, person called me is next to him. I think he has free PASS to go in a Aeroplane to his Head office which is in Delhi).
            THIS MAY SOUND LAUGHING BUT I M REALLY HURTED, TIRED LOOSING SOME BUGS TO CALL THOSE GUYS. I BOUGHT THIS WASHING MACHINE PARTICULARLY FOR MY MOTHER TO AVOID HER WASHING CLOTH AS SHE IS SICK. BUT THIS GUYS MADE ME SICK NOW.

            i bought mobile onidag460 for the purpose of GPRS; but when i tried for WAP it is displaying "GPRS not subscribed ". i have airtel sim. The AIRTEL customercare said onidag460 mobile doesnot subscribed with GPRS && also said that this mobile does not support GPRS. The onida customer care didn't respond well and said that it's the network fault from AIRTEL .
            This is bad to say that, a branded company mobiles of onida were unworth; not rightly configured, with bad display; low quality display of video;etc

            Onida Air Conditioner - Model No W1124r — Delay in attending complaints on Onida Ac's

            I had a complaint on Onida window air conditioner which I had logged in a complaint on 23rd May 2009. The complaint no. is [protected]. The complaint was registered and we were told that the technican will attend us in 24 hrs. But the technician named Mr Salim landed on saturday and told us that their is a leakage in the A/c and it has to be taken to the factory and then it will be repaired. He told us that the A/c will be picked up on Monday fro our house. But when no one turned up we called up Mr mane and he tells us that the pick-up of A/c will not be done before Wednesday. The customer guys are making fool of my parents who are senior citizens and no one wants to take any heed of the same.

            The same complaint was raised in the month of Feb 2009 and it was repaired after 15 days and the A/c was delivered to us on 5th march 2009.

            bluetooth is not available in G460 ONIDA mobile phone
            We have a front loading washing machine model no : WM5410 which is 5 years old.

            For the past 3 years we were not using machine and it was kept idle.

            When we switched on 6 months back to reuse the machine it was found that the machine was not working (only it was rinsing but not washing)

            So we have logged a complaint with Onida Service center to rectify the problem and your service personal had attended and said that the problem is with timer.

            They had replaced the timer with a new timer after two days or so and still the problem was not solved. So they returned back saying that they will come back again. But nobody came after that. So we had to call again Onida Service and two Senior service personals had come to rectify the problem and they again said that the timer is having problem and it may take 15 to 20 day time as the timer has to come from Mumbai office. We said ok.

            After one month we started following up with your service, Bangalore and till now (it is almost 3 months) we are getting the response that the part is yet to be received from Mumbai office.

            Now we are very much disappointed with Onida service.

            Actually speaking we wanted to go for IFB at the time of purchase but somehow we got impressed with your product and we have been told that Onida provides a good service and the product also is good and all. So we selected this washing machine.

            Coming across this much of problem with your service, if we would have known all these at the time of purchase itself, we would not have gone for Onida washing machine.

            Now no other option than behind you, we once again kindly request the concern person to look into this matter seriously and give us the solution on priority otherwise we may have to take this issue to higher levels.

            Onida — Microwave Oven 29GJP 23S Grill

            Dear Sir.
            I had purchased microwave oven from T.V.C. Electronic Block 20, 108 Pudhukuppam, Neyveli-607803. vide their cash receipt number 01/3047 dated[protected]. Within one and half year of operation, I have observed that inner cabinet got rusted. I have called your service engineer based in Neyveli, who informed me that it is an exemptional case and assured to take up the matter and revert back. He has also suggested that inner cabinet to be replaced.
            I would request you to repair the same at free of cost as we feel that it could be a manufacturing defect. If your are not able to repair it, please as a special case replace the same at the earliest.
            I am really surprised that a reputed company like you is selling the product which is not having self life for more than one year.

            I have gone through the same problems with Onida Authorized Service dealer ADONIS- Mumbai. After 3 calls to them, customer care gave me number of service engineer, who was sooooooo... busy that he said will call me later... Which Never Happened!


            One fine day some one from the ADONIS calls up saying they need to take the AC to their factory. The whole scenario is so suspicious, how can one trust ADONIS, as none of their responsible person co-ordinates with customers & somebody claiming sub-contractor of adonis calls up to say they are on the way to take the AC to factory for repairing.


            I CAN NEVER TRUST. CAN YOU TRUST THEM???????

            Onida — Nightmarish ordeal in putting TV for repair at Adonis Electronics Pvt. Ltd.

            Here is my ordeal of the worst customer service center I have experienced in my lifetime.

            When my TV broke down, I called up Adonis Electronics Pvt. Ltd. in Ahmedabad and put in my complaint. The service engineer came on the same day to inspect the TV. He said that the TV needs to be taken to the service center for repairs. It is after this that my nightmarish experience begun.

            I inquired the service engineer whether he can take the TV to the service center, he refused. I asked by calling at the service center and they told to me that "WE DO NOT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE". I had to take half day leave from work just to give the TV. It was very embarrasing for me to ask for a leave for such a trivial issue.

            As I was not given any choice, I myself went to the service center to give the TV. The experience there is another ordeal. On my entry to the service center, it gave me a feeling that it was more like a Government office with people sending me from table to table and I was getting replies as if they were obliging me by showing the direction. On reaching the TV service area, all the servicemen were totally ignorant of my presence and no one seemed ready to take up my job. After about 5 mins one guy came up to me and I told him that your service engineer has checked the TV and it needs repairs so just give me the service request form and you do the repairs as required because I am getting late for work. However, the service engineer did not pay any heed to my request and said that first we need to open the TV and see the problem. I repeatedly said that you do the repairs as you deem fit and just let me go for now. Still he did not listen and opened the TV then he saw that the TV was very dirty from inside, so he ordered two people to take it and clean it. and it took almost another 25 minutes for cleaning the TV. After the cleaning was done, the service engineer did not tell me anything nor did he check the TV and just gave me the service form and asked me to leave. I don't get this, if he was not going to tell me the problem, why did he make me wait for so long? It took me 1 hour in your office just to drop the TV!!!

            He told me that it should be repaired within 2 days. After 2 days, we called for update, he said it will be done on next day. In this way it has been 2 weeks and I still haven't received my TV. Only after calling up 2 times today, finally I got a call after office hours of Adonis Electronics Pvt. Ltd. that my TV has been repaired. Now do you think they will be in office when I reach there to take it?

            Here is the worst part of my experience with your service center:

            Everytime I called the operator asked me the same questions, one of them was "Did you yourself bring the TV?"

            As I was earlier told that "ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT. LTD. DOES NOT PROVIDE THIS SERVICE", I sarcastically asked "Do you have the service? Because if you don't have the service as you have told me earlier, then you should not ask such questions, To which she replied that "THE SERVICE IS FOR TVS IN WARRANTY ONLY?

            I was aghast on listening this. So does this mean that you care for the customers only until the TV is in warranty? Are they of no value to you once the warranty is over?

            Few months back when my Sony Home Theater was not working, I was told that I will need to pay Rs. 300/- if the Sony service center guys themselves pick up and drop the home theater. And I opted to pay Rs. 300/- more so that I do not have to take a leave from work.

            This is by far the WORST service center I have experienced in my life. Now I know one of the reason why people have stopped buying Onida TV.

            I feel very sad to have opted for an Onida TV in the first place and will make sure that I do not make this mistake again.

            We are having an export house at Sitapura EPIP (Export Promotional Industrial Park) Zone.
            We have purchased two Split A.Cs. of 1.5 tonnes each for our factory named KAGZI EXPORTS, G-177/178, EPIP, RIICO SITAPURA INDUSTRIAL AREA, JAIPUR.
            We purchased it from one of your supplier / distributor named BOHRA APPLIANCES, PRADHAN MADRG, MALVIYA NAGAR, JAIPUR.
            From last four or five months there is problem in both the ACs. During working of ACs everytime water comes out from the air frills and our showroom becomes a water tank.
            We have complained several times to Bohra Appliances and they are not able to sort the problem.

            Onida 29" Oxygen 350w (Duo) — TV is not working properly

            I bought TV on 20.10.2008. Initially its functions are good. One month before the TV didn't function properly and serviced by ONIDA service Engineer. Again TV is not functioning properly from 8.09.2009 onwards.
            Complaint lodged on 9.09.2009 at 10.30 am. Till now i.e., 12.09.2009, 9.30 pm no response from service Engineer. We have contacted repeatedly to the customer service centre and no response from that side. We didn't expect such a poor services anywhere.

                    Yes I too agree with this.

                    I bought ONIDA TV 21" Flat in Aug 2010, it got repaired on Nov 2011, I made the complaint to ONIDA Service Center (which is in Coimbatore Saibaba colony, (Tamil Nadu State)).

                    I had a very poor experience with them.

                    Not attending the service call in time, I was calling them for last one week still they didnt attend the service call.

                    Whenever I call them in the morning, they reply that today's first call is yours but till evening no one will come and again if I call them in the evening they reply tomorrow we will come.

                    Not providing the complaint number also.

                    Decided not to buy ONIDA product in my lifetime.

                    ONIDA should find the right service center not only the dealers.

                    Else ONIDA will be no more in INDIA.

                        I bought a Onida washing machine in the year Aug 2006. There are lot of problems from the date we purchased to till date. But the service we are expected is completely not satisfactory. None of them are properly responded in the service center. Visit only once after 25days of the date of complaint.

                        May be they are concentrate only on TV. Its really very poor experience for me with washing machine. But we are rectified the problem with other private service center with lot amount of charge.

                            I have registered a compliant on 15 Sep 10 about my 29 inch TV which got off automatically and after one week of compliant one executive had visited and informed that some parts of the TV is damanged and needed to get it. Its been going to be one month now and my TV is still not working and when enquired in the Thane service station, it was told that one executive had taken the parts and would visit your house.
                            I am surprised that the after receiving the parts how can a executive can move around for 3-4 days. Please help me to rectify my problem with the service centre.

                            ONIDA 29 INCH TV — poor services

                            dear sir,
                            1. I have purchased onida 29 inch TV in 2007. six months after the purchase it developed some problem and stop functioning.
                            2.I complaint the same to the dealer at " DRISTI VISION" the auth dealer and from whom i'e purchased the same.The TV was repaired but with a DUPLICATE part which developed some problem after one month .
                            3. Presently the TV is with the repair centre for the last 4 months and we are devoid of watching TV for the past 4 months.
                            4. WHEN WE CONTACTED THE DEALER HE PURPOUSFULLY KEEP TELLING US THAT COME AFTER 1-2 WEEK .THIS IS CONTINUED TO BE HAPPENING TILL DATE. THE DEALER IS FOOLING US ABOUT THE CURRENT STATUS OF THE TV.

                              I have purchased one 1.5 T Airconditioner brand Onida from a dealer viz. Gunjan Electronics, Lalbaug, Vadodara in the month of May 2010. It was working 2 days before satisfactorily however suddent water started leaking from the Unit and subsequent the power gets tripped. I had lodged a complaint to the above dealer M/s.Gunjan Electronics but 2 days have lapsed no one has turned to repair the same. Summer is at its great peak and difficult for us to sleep in the night. Please help me.

                                  I purchased Onida split AC 1.5 from Bhatia Agency Kota on 13/6/2009.
                                  After installation it worked good for 9 months then sudenlly in april 2010
                                  its display went off ,I complaint to Bhatia agency they told me to contact
                                  service center in jaipur,i contacted there they told to pay 1600 Rs for one
                                  year extended warranty i payed,the display was changed ,since then AC
                                  was not tripping i called the concern person again he told the sensor is
                                  not working it got changed,now after tripping it was not starting (compressor) i called him again.After several calls he came and told that
                                  relay is not working and the card will be changed,again after repeated calls
                                  he told its not coming from jaipur then after 10 days he came and changed
                                  the card. Now the same complaint persists .I called him several times but
                                  he is not replying then contacted with different mobile he replyed and said
                                  he cant do.
                                  Now what should i do ?I was thinking to go to consumer court,but
                                  thought to take one more chance by complaining directly to company

                                  I have lodge the compliant of not cooling onida split ac at their customer care center on 20th mar 2010. My compliant no. is [protected]. AC is under warrenty. Till date nobody bother to attain the compliant. Everyday i used to follow the compliant, but in vein. If possible take strict action on ONIDA for mental and physical harrasment.
                                  i bought onida spilt ac in may 2006, after 1 year warrnety, i pay always 1600per year for amc charge, but m facing problum, for the last 2 year, my ac is not working, after amc nobody attend me cooling is very poor, a man pradeep gupta from onida came to me or told me, i[censored] pay 3000 rs than problum can be solved, i pay him 2500 or request him to sloved the problum, or after solution i will to u 500 balance.he sure me that he will come tomorrow, after 1 week wait i try to contact him his mobile no is off, no is [protected] but he didnt come
                                  I complaint about my my A/C not cooling before 10 days but my problem was not rectified yet( I am in Pondicherry and I commit my AMC with your authorized service agency named ADONIS ELECTRONICS PVT LTD in Pondicherry ( my phone no [protected]

                                    I have several complain number created. however one of this is 1000-[protected]
                                    onida service has given me trouble now more than 2 months
                                    My LCD TV 34 inch has display problem and i complain it to Gujarat-Rajkot region. which was forwarded to some guy in veraval

                                    That guy took 15 days to come and check the LCD. after that he came to replace card, which was totally mess by him as TV dint get repair with that. it took 45 days for this failure maintenance.and after 15 days no reply yet from anyone.
                                    My LCD is in warranty till October. I called Onida in July. I have called him several time his name is Ajay and he is no good at all to find and repair the problem

                                    I have tried contacting his regional head Anil at [protected] with no luck. this number is always switched off.
                                    above all to complain i found some service contacts from onida website and sent email to and response is that email doesnt exist. Well done ONIDA. as technical guy i would make sure nobody ever purchases any onida products. I have blogs and personal forums. lets save others

                                      Sir,
                                      I have puchased Onida V140 mobile on[protected] at MEMO mobiles store at vizag, Recently i ve noticed that my onida mobile is losing its control on software and its automatically playing songs and making calls or whatever it like. i think there may be some software issues. So i took it (on[protected] to Onida customer care at Madhuranagar , Visakhapatnam. The technicians who looked at the mobile told that this model have so many problems so the company is offering replacement for that i need to submit my original bill and all the accesories back to them. so that they will give an issuing letter which i need to take to the mobile store and get my new mobile.

                                      In this process i was lack of my mobile box (outer cardboard box in which mobile is packed) i think i may thrown it away as there is no use of it. i think i still have my mobile bill and warranty book for the proof of purchase. Remaining all the accesories i have with me.

                                      They are not accepting for the replacement as they are asking my mobile box also..how could i get it.???

                                      moreover, they should have literally write somewhere in the conditions to preserve the mobile cover box for claiming warranty . there are no signs of it. now they are not accept my claim. how far it is fair??

                                      i have
                                      1. Mobile set and battery
                                      2. Accesories ( headphones and charger)
                                      3. catalouge ( stamped the date of purchase of the dealer)
                                      4. Bill of the purchase

                                      What else i need to claim for warranty???

                                      Hello,

                                      Thank you Mr. Pullaiah and Onida service center ( Mr. Nani ) for considering my complaint and replacing my mobile with new one. on[protected] ie. today
                                      the new mobile is Onida G465, They took my new box as they need one onida box to submit.
                                      but the MEMO guy charged me Rs100 for making IMEI sticker for the box and also another 100 as VAT..

                                      I dont know why i should pay on replacement.. ?

                                      i asked him same question, he said, that they are changing on us as they are not taking courier charges.

                                      any ways i got my cellphone replaced after 1 month struggle and wasting my time.
                                      my cellphone stopped working on[protected] and i got replacement today. (36 days)

                                      Thanks for this website (consumercomplaints.in) which showed up some interest towards my compliant and made it cleared.

                                      hi I'm raja. i purchased Onida V140 mobile in pattukotai, tanjore district, Tamil Nadu.please clarify my questions:
                                      1.Is there data cable for this model

                                      2. my headphones volume is very low even i made my volume full.

                                      3.i copied (from computer) state bank of India mobile banking software but it not working.

                                      4. when i'm hearing musics in music player there is more vibration in phone

                                      5.i had a news that Onida V140 series got so many problem thats the reason the Onida company itself give exchanges for this mobile.is this true
