Dear sirs,

I am a senior citizen, a mm-iii grade s. B. I. Official living a contented retired life in my house at hospital square in the heart of puri town, next to vishal mega mart back-side.

I became a subscriber of ortel in the year 2006 and continuing to be so still with regular payment of monthly subscriptions; very often paying lump sum in advance. I have overpaid my this month's subscription also.

I am a loyal customer of ortel in view of the fact that despite all other house - holds of my locality having taken their connection from other operators. I am the first and perhaps the last ortel subscriber of my locality which, itself. Speaks of the volumes of service (Or, disservice?) of ortel. Either the company is not interested in marketing, or other operators are far superior in their strategies: is a matter for the company itself to ponder over. But, so far as i am concerned, ortel is not interested in customers like me who has been prey of neglect or negligence, as i feel.

The services of ortel were never so bad during the past nine/ ten years like the past one year or so when any complaints lodged with the company were never attended to within a day or two, without my lodging of reminders with bhubaneswar and visiting the office at puri, roaming there from pillar to post.

Notwithstanding, the perennial problem of seating over complaints by the ortel head office at bhubaneswar and regional office at puri, i have lodged a service complaint with bhubaneswar at 11.02 am on 13/11/14, reminded puri office by personally visiting on the same day and telephonically reminding them at 11.00 am today, but so far i have to be satisfied with a false assurance that services would be resumed in minutes. As always, the bhubaneswar head office of ortel has been working like a postal department communicating the message only, leaving us at the mercy of puri office which is never sensitive to our problems.

The most important aspect the company now should examine whether it would be proper to charge for the days of disconnection of service and to pay back the charges already taken during such periods and to take appropriate action on erring employees, if any.

    I have given complaint since 22nd October 2017, There is no signal on my TV, Everyday i am giving complaint morning & evening, Till today[protected] your customer care people answering that my problem will be short out within 3 hours, & we are following up your complaint, every day they are answering me the same thing, hope my problem will not be short out, therefore tomorrow i will have to purchase Disc TV, Awaiting your kind Reply, Regards Binaya kumar Tripathy, Consumer No 754083

      We took broadband connection before 7 days in pravat lane, puri-1, odisha.
      . No response we get when we call them and if they response, only false assurance we get. 1st we faced connection problems, now we are facing weak signal. Neither they came to me nor they solve properly. We went to office and informed, again same thing happened, only false assurance. We are tired @ their service. We said to return our fees because you cheated with us. Even they dont receive our phones maximum times.

      Issues faced - slow internet

        Hi! I've been complaining regarding your poor service since many days in your telephonic service center at [protected]. Every time your customer support executives say the same old & monotonous words which doesn't have any meaning. My wifi connection has become very slow & since last one month its not working at all. Almost every alternate day i used to give a complain on telephone but in vain. Please don't ask me for your monthly rent. Unless and until i get your service then there is no point in paying you.

        Hi ! Today its 14.11.17 & the due date of my bill to be paid is 15.11.17. Since I had not received proper NET (WiFi) service from you throughout the previous month, hence, I've decided not to pay you for this month. Because I had already paid you for the last month & didn't get any service & had complained not less than 15 times telepathically at your service center. Even now also the service is pathetic. I hope there is some major problem. Please rectify the issue & waive out my this month bill from your accounts. Consumer Id[protected].
        No Chanel coming since last Saturday. Every day 2 to 3 hours or some times half a day the setup box goes in freeze. Position/net work not available. Repeated telephonic complaint lodged. But no fruitful result till to date. This is the regular habit of the official staff in the balugaon. Very bad service .

          My costomer id 1740075, i have opt for the connection on 11 oct, they urge to pay installation amount of 1500. Technician visited and tried to make an installation but he walked away saying it will take 24 hrs for activation... But sorry to say no signal came after that. I have complained but technician are hard to come to install even if its a new connection, they dont have proper management even though i havr complained them numerous times since 10 days. Set up box and modem are provided with no signal... What is the use??? Why are making us suffer like this... Very very poor service.

          I dnt have signal since morning and not even the customer care are responding to the calls. Once when they received they said me to call after 2 hrs. And after that tjey are not responding to atleast take my request. Or raise a complain . Please resolve as aoon as possible my member id is 1687094.

            I haven't seen such a irresponsible isp like ortel. I am paying the bill online. Most of the time in a month there internet service down, even while lodging a complaint there software down. If you want to disconnect the service, you need to go down to there office to submit the device. I don't understand when i taken the connection, they came with device to my flat. I had to lodge several complaints to fix my internet issue, still no acknowledgement from there side. Such a lucksture attitudes towards costomer. I think trai should get hold of them. They are looting money from the customers.

              My member id is 1687094. I have complained regarding no signal since 28th sep throught telecphone. They are saying they wil resolve in 24 hrs. But whenever i recal they register another complain nd say me to wait more 24 hrs.. Its since 7 days i have being continuesly complaing regarding this and no action is being taken from your side. I think its better to discontinue your service

                Hi,
                As i have experienced with your organization, it is only worried with revenue collection instead of customer satisfaction. Last month my tv was defunct for 7 /9 days and still your executives remind about bills and now for last 3 days my internet and cable tv is not active bcoz of "no signal". And the service response is worst than hope.

                No more words to express my feeling.

                  I've been a subscriber of ortel cable tv since last 10 years, (No 57288) and continue to be with you though the service was far from satisfactory. I was with ortel, because it was a venture by one prominent oriya family. While other cable providers were from outside the state. This month no one came to collect the bill, but my cable was disconnected. I have to contact your costumer care to send some one to collect the bill amount, which he did. The bill was presented to me which i paid him amounting rs 560.00 (Mr no b[protected] dt 25/9/17). I was told that the connection will be restored after 2 hrs. As there was no signals by 9 pm i contacted one number provided by bill collector mr ajit das, and was told that the connection could be restored by 11pm same day. As there was no cable service by 11 am of 26/9/17, i managed to contact a friend who is associated with ortel, bbsr, he spoke to his contacts and in formed me that i had a broadband connection at home and there are some outstanding amount, and this months subscription has been adjusted against the pending amount. This was a shocking news for me as the broad band connection never worked and signal was so poor that i have spoken to your people to take it back in the month of july.
                  The story of broadband connection is as follows — in the month of march to be more exact on 25/3/17 one person (Mr. Srimanta bose - mob no [protected]) from ortel visited my house and told me that i being one of the oldest cusotmers of ortel of jobra area and having two connections at home is eligible for a broadband connection from ortel by paying a nominal fee for the modem, the service is entirely free for four months from the date of installation, and from 4th month onward the broadband charges will be included in the cable tv bill as per uses and the bill would be to the tune of 200-250 rs per month. I have paid the bill of june, july and august months and there should be no due what so ever. Till writing this complain the connection not have been restored in spite of lodging three complains through your voice activated services. Pl restore the service immediately and make necessary arrangements to take back the modem. It goes without saying that you have failed in providing optimum service and uncalled for harassment to a customer like me.

                    From last two weeks tv signal is not coming and internet is also not working. They install new setup box still tv is not working. Internet service is very bad.
                    None of customer service person receive calls. Very poor servicing. Even if they receive call, didn't solve problems and talk rudely. Customer care person even said that the tv problem is due to some common problem. Everyone is facing the issue. But it was not like that. I checked my neighbours tv. Proper signal is coming. They even said it will resolved today but still not resolved yet. Very bad ortel service.

                      I have requested through mail to change my plan from basic to 2mb/s plan on 12/08. Complain regarding slow browsing on 24/08, 25/08, 26/08 and 01/09 with complain ids 4917930, 2172470, 2172848 & 4929288 respectively. Every time your technician closing the complain without resolving the issue. Till i will not avail my plan, please do not raise bill for updated plan and resolve my issue as soon as possible.                         My money receipt number is 611189 and this was issued by a person who's name is mr. Aroop and he is an ortel agent and this money receipt is issued in favor of gurinder singh, address - 524 satya nagar bhubaneswar. I had ordered for broadband connection online and a agent came within 12 hours to my home. When being asked to install the broadband connection he told me that i have to make the full payment in cash and i did so on 20.07.2017 and today the date is 21.08.2017 and still the connection is not installed. I had asked for my refund by calling their customer care and i have done it thousand times but they are not providing my refund but mr. Aroop had promised me refund if installation wasn't done. When they needed money they came home and took it and while returning they don't respond what the hell. Please help. This company's a fraud. I advise everyone to never ever go for ortel

                        I am lokonath mishra having ortel tv communication ID no. #541645 inform you that I am unable to see my cable connect in since last 24 hours and after 5 times complaint to the authority no body gives the replay or solution .
                        So it's my mind request you to have a kind consideration on me about the foresaid matter.

                            I Prasanta Kumar Sahu would like to clarify to customer care response -
                            It was not resolved on 8th it was resolved on Aug 10, 2017 but the validity was for only 1 day like previous.

                            STILL THERE IS SOUND AND PICTURE PROBLEM.

                            I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY I HAVE TO COMPLAIN AGAIN AND AGAIN REGARDING THE SAME PROBLEM.

                            ORTEL ONLY KNOWS HOW TO RECEIVE MONEY THROUGH THE COLLECTION BOY

                            THIS IS THE "WORST" SERVICE EVER PROVIDED.

                            IF THIS ISSUE IS NOT BEING RESOLVED THEN PLEASE INFORM YOUR COLLECTION BOY NOT TO COME AND RECEIVE PAYMENTS.

                            I am actually frustrated by the service given by ortel.

                            Kindly ensure immediate restoration of tv services otherwise i will be forced to switch to some other service.

                            And also proceed to take the help of legal department.

                              I prasanta kumar sahu has given a complain regarding the same issue previously on aug 4, 2017.

                              "ortel communication customer care has given a response on aug 7, 2017 that mr. Sahu, your issue has been resolved, please confirm us".

                              This issue is still not resolved.

                              Ortel is prompt in taking monthly payments but too poor in providing required services.

                              I have called the customer care several times regarding this problem before but each time i am assure with sugar coated promises but my issue is unresolved till now. After doing auto-search the channels with no signal disappears. This problem was also viewed by the bill payment collection boy.

                              I am actually frustrated by the service given by ortel.

                              Kindly ensure immediate restoration of tv services otherwise i will be forced to switch to some other service.

                              And also proceed to take the help of legal department.

                                Despite registering persistent complaints (twice) everyday, ortel authorities have been the worst service provider. There is no internet connectivity since last 9 days. In every complaint, they say they have taken cognizance of that matter and it will be resolved within 6-24 hours, but internet connection lasts for only 2 hours in the night from 10-11 pm. Every morning I register a complaint, they assure it'll be rectified but no action taken.same faulty connection.They have been diverting connection to several others and deceiving consumersNo technicians are sent and matter not resolved. but they take payments in advance. worst service provider. fake consumer redressal systems of ortel no consumer service .No timely service.

                                Mr.Behera, Status of your service is active now. check couple of time your modem status and sharing screen shot for your perusal .

                                Non sense ortel authority with vagabonds operating.
                                Took 300 rs from me without any receipt and told to shift d connection in 2 days but 6 days over, there is no reaponse from them.Lodged several times complaint in toll free but all in vain.
                                Plz dont but any ortel connection.

                                    My memb. Id.01642879 is a discounted plan of50%for 1yr. Due to airtel set top box exchange. But due to negligence of ortel staffs, it has not yet been updated and full plan bill being generated. It's a very poor service from ortel. I'm not to pay your faulty outstanding dues and i will be compelled to leave your service. Kindly get it resolved for good understanding to remain for ever.

                                      My name is soumya ranjan and im from bhubaneswar.
                                      My issue is i want to shift my broadband connection to upper floor but they didnt came even after over a month im contacting so many times they jst simply told that they will send the technician to my address but till now nobody's came and at first they take the charges for the shifting and after payment they didnt come at all. Pls help me in this issue

                                      U have d worst kind of cable connection. U take d payment in d correct time with [censored]in services. So better focus in ur better works thn stay eager 2 get d money. In my eyes u bastards dnt have a single pie to earn through any better results.

                                        I prasanta kumar sahu has given complaint on[protected] time 4:40 pm over the phone, even the collection boy who receives the money regarding bill payment has seen the problem still then there was no response from your side.

                                        Regarding tv programme in my tv no signal is coming and i am unable to see any programme. I am a regular customer & having a no dues of payment and time to time payment is done.

                                        I wonder if there is any clarity on the subject by those appointed by ortel to receive complaints for customers.

                                        Ortel is prompt in taking monthly payments but too poor in providing required services.

                                        I have called the customer care several times regarding this problem before but each time i am assure with sugar coated promises but my issue is unresolved till now. After doing auto-search the channels with no signal disappears. This problem was also viewed by the bill payment collection boy.

                                        I am actually frustrated by the service given by ortel.

                                        Kindly ensure immediate restoration of tv services otherwise i will be forced to switch to some other service.

                                        And also proceed to take the help of legal department.

                                        Mr.Sahu, Issue has been resolved, please confirm us .
                                        Issue has been resolved only for 1 day. Again it's creating the same problem i.e, no signal in most of the channels and the picture in rest are not clear with sound. Kindly consider this issue seriously
