I had booked a hotel room from Oyo on 5th October 2022 in the name of Hotel Residency in which I paid 599rs PR due to some reason I canceled the booking or my refund is not received yet there is no response from TK or their traffic or you are not picking up the call

    I had booked a room on 13th Aug 2022 and paid full amount in advance. When i reached the property OYO 39387 Ammayii Hotel Resorts late evening same day 13th with my family and kids to my surprise and shock hotel staff didn't give us rooms . I spoke to hotel staff and explained the situation but still he said he has not received the money yet from OYO so rooms are not available. I was in middle of the road unknown terrain with kids and no where to go.
    I called OYO customer care and scolded them but they didn't find alternate room in that area. They said very rudely that they will refund the amount and you can go.

    Now after 2 months when I check my bank statement the amount is not refunded. When i mailed them they are asking me to show cashback information. IF OYO dont initiate cashback how will a customer can view and send it ?

    OYO guys are so rude and fraud they don't know how to speak with the customer. Customer care guys are not responding my calls

      Hotel booking was done wia oyo app and so full as payment was done of RS. 1366/- BY ONLINE WALLET.

      While visiting the Property (Hotel) CHECKIN WAS ONLY ALLOWED IF I MAKE A ADDITIONAL PAYMENT OF RS. 634/-, SINCE THERE MINIMUM ROOM TARRIF IS RS. 2000/-

      seems we had no option but ha to pay the ransome, HOW COME THE APP OF OYO SHOWS DIFFRENT PRICE AND THE HOTEL AFFILATED DENIED.

      Seems the OYO team is reluctant in making a refund, as the call center nicely forwarded your call to automated service since we complain and did not a new booking, after the transfer the call get disconnected.

      Hope OYO has an escalation team or any social media escalation team to look into this since ultimately this defames OYO's reputation.

        ISSUE : HOTEL DENIED CHECK IN

        We had been to the Hotel after booking online on the OYO app. Despite of making full payment of Rs. 1196/- by online wallet, the check-in was denied, with a straight answer that we do not have rooms available.

        Several calls at OYO helpdesk towards complaint and rebooking all was easily disconnected.

        I demand full refund for the same.

        Very Hard to Understand as OYO has been truly unprofessional in handling grievances, and seeking a refund for the prepaid service not used is painful.

        When called the call center, they nicely forward your call to an automated answer, and then the call gets disconnected. Seems is this the mode of operandi for making money.

        Hope the OYO team answers on the refund.

        It seems to be a Modes Operandi of non-answering the refund.
        130 Crores Indian Population and cheating with 0.005%% of the population cheating daily leads to a lot of Money. as found refund resolution is 76% from OYO.
        This would be highlighted to GOI Tourism Ministry and relevant Dept.

          On 25th September 2022, we booked a room via OYO rooms and when we reached the hotel, we were denied checkin and told to pay extra. So we immediately called OYO customer service and they promised a refund of the booking amount within 24 hours as it was issue from the OYO rooms side and hotel.
          As we were traveling, we couldn't contact them again after 24 hours so I called them again after 2-3 days which was the worst service experience of my life with anyone. I literally called about 50 times and most of them would just put me on hold for 20-30 minutes and then disconnect the call and some would directly say that they'll tranfer the call to the appropriate team and loop me to the IVR. After this headache I found their email address on Google and sent an email. They called me and said that they cannot refund the money as its been more than 7 days since the booking and there is no ticket or complaint id registered with them whereas I literally talked to 50 agents (i have call logs and recordings as well). One person even gave me a random number as the ticket id[protected] and asked to pay some money for this ticket which in fact was for another booking the agent did for his target or something by tricking me. I had to go through another nightmare to cancel this and wasted efforts to escalate this issue. This is absolutely horrendous. I'm never using oyo again.
          Please help me in this regard.

            I would like to give a review on my worst experience that I recently had with OYO booking ID : AZFL1880 to start
            HOTEL1:
            we booked a accommodation with OYO 10237 Hotel Coco Heritage in North Goa for 4 families in 2 weeks advance. We travelled with family all the way to Goa for 12 hours drive and heard from the hotel that the rooms not available due to maintenance, they are very casually asking to share 2 normal rooms for 12 members, while we booked deluxe rooms ( as we have infants and small kids), so we left with no other option and called OYO support, they moved our booking to near by Hotel,
            HOTEL 2:
            We reached the place (after circling the place couple of times) by 11 in the night (with family/kids), this OYO Flapship 6956 Hotel Joaquim, Goa. ( the worst staff ever I saw), they are treating customers like no humans and what irritates more was the attitude of the front desk, not allowing to park car for a minute to speak to front desk, asking to park car in paid parking and come. They are completely money minded we paid for our booking in advance for all o[censored]s, even then asking money for infants/kids below 5 years as well. Our families are not comfortable in staying there, because of front desk attitude, so we asked OYO support to move booking to other Hotel.
            Actual drama start:
            No the front desk person donot want us to move the booking, he make checked – in status in tool, so the booking cannot move, in parallel OYO confirmed that they are moving booking to Elvin’s palace, so we left the place and we came to know booking not moved after reaching Elvin’s palace, by the time our kids exhausted, so we paid and stayed there ( not used booking).

            Next day, when we called OYO support, HOTEL2 manager said we did not stayed, BUT NOT READY TO REFUND, as he said rooms were vacant, this is not our problem ( should be between OYO & HOTEL)


            We did not choose the HOTEL

            We did not checked in

            HOTEL frint desk demanding extra money ( above booking).


            Finally OYO not refunding the amount, as HOTEL enabled checked in status.

            Not sure what kind of support OYO has, they are more friendly to Hotels than customer, I am thinking to take this forward with consumer court.
            This was happened on 5 th and 6th OCT 2022

              Dear Oyo Team,
              Ref - N7A00853

              Upon reaching at Hotel Mahadev Residency they have denied check-in saying Oyo booking is not valid on such low rates.

              They have denied us the entry.

              After that we have to forcefully cancell our booking through Oyo aap under check in deny option.

              When my refund is proceeded, Oyo has deducted 1600 rs from refund.

              Your partner have denied check in and why you are not processing my full refund?

              Please call me abck and arrange my full refund.

                Recently I have booked an OYO hotel via OYO app in Raichur (Karnataka) for my stay.I had already paid the entire amount of Rs 499 in advance for my stay using GPAY.
                But to my surprise when I reached the destination there was no OYO hotel by name Anandam (OYO 92323 Anandam) there was just a barren land and few village huts stationed there.

                My money was already deducted and I had also received the confirmation of my booking via email and whatsapp message.
                I'am hereby attaching snapshot of GPAY transaction which was done for this booking.

                Request you to please look into it and refund my amount of Rs 499.

                  Hey team, I am currently staying in UK and I am still a regular customer of OYO. I have booked a room for my parents through the app in Kolkata, Hotel Diamond plaza. I have done all the payments online. But the behaviour of the person at the receptionist was really unethical. They demanded for extra payment. My parent were okay to pay the amount but the behaviour of the person was really bad. He asked them to wait outside and even after their hectic journey they waited for a good service. This happened today (12/10/2022). They left the hotel without checking in. I want to raise a complaint about the hotel Diamond Plaza OYO 78107 and need a refund of the amount I paid.                         Every bad incident happened to me, When I was checked in "OYO townhouse 366 Uttam Nagar" on (8-oct-2022).
                        I paid full amount to OYO Apps at the time of boking. But when I reached there they asked to for 600 more amount. They told me either pay 600 more or u will get no room.
                        I tried to call to OYO customer service but couldn't connect. In OYO APP also I tried to registered my complaint through Chat but it was just robotic service no customer care person available.
                        I mailed to them on the same date but didn't get any response from there side. This APP is become worst day by day and there is no Proper Customer Support.

                          I had booked Oyo rooms for 6 nights and made advance payment via OYO app but hotel denied access to amenities.

                          I requested OYO helpline to change hotel but it didn't work then I asked for refund which is pending for almost a month.

                          When I call to the customer service they disconnect the call after holding for 15 mins.

                            I Booked Hotel Named OYO 40852 Hotel White Ridge on 18 September and I went to the hotel and the hotel management said that there are no rooms available at the oyo hotel. So I raised a refund by talking to your OYO executer/customer care and He Said Refund is initiated but it as been 20days still I have not received any refund. I have connected to Oyo customer care they have been keeping on hold for 10mins and Disconnecting my Call without give any response. "Booking Id UWU20027". I want the refund to be credited to the respective payment gateway.

                              Hi,

                              I booked a room through the Oyorooms website and had to cancel the booking due to unavoidable circumstances. After cancellation, I received a mail confirming the refund amount, and the customer care support executive told me the refund would be processed within 10 days. But even after 20 days, the refund is not processed and I'm unable to contact the respective support team.

                                My Oyo booking for OYO 78775 Yamnotri Dham was charged twice on my Ola Postpaid account. Since the hotel hygiene was unsatisfactory, I cancelled the booking for OYO 78775 and re-booked OYO 81815 Hotel Krishna Palace through Oyo customer service. But since my account was incorrectly charged twice, I need to get my refund.

                                I am following up since last 10 days but barely getting any proper response. Request for kind attention

                                  Address: Oyo booking & white house hotel in kharghar

                                  Hiii I am ashok shinde I book room on oyo on line customer care no. They give me a in white house hotel booking. And i pay 1061 by google pay application. But when I reached the hotel hotel management told you you online pay less if you want check in you pays rs 700 more .other wise you cancelled your and you another hotel but my partner was suffering from neck cancer, that full I am so busy In tata hospital we are very tired I am paying all Extra money check in we have no option

                                  But I want back my money and actions taken against oyo company & hotel white house both are harreshment me and my brother .

                                    I have booked hotel in mumbai through oyo, The property manager denied to give rooms, later on I cancelled the booking before a check in day. But my refund amount 2004/- still not reflected my account

                                      My refund for booking id TE7T6813 is pending from one and half month now, I have already shared my account details (ICICI Bank) in the link provided by OYO but I have not received my refund amount till date.

                                      I have tried reaching customer care number [protected] for the last 20 days or so but I'am unable to reach the concerned person.

                                      Request you to please check and provide the refund.

                                        On 8th Oct, in Jaipur, I made a booking at around 10:45 pm for OYO Townhouse, as I have had heard that those are better than normal OYO. The app even asked me to pay the advance online (Rs. 1200) to ensure hassle free check in. The booking id was HFTJ0351 for “OYO Townhouse 036 C Scheme Ahinsa Circle”.

                                        On reaching the property at around 11:15 pm, I was denied the check in, stating that the property is already full and I should talk to OYO customer service. I tried this. On app the automated chat asked me to call the customer care number. On call the automated responses asked me to try the chat on app as the customer representatives are busy. After many failed attempts I cancelled the booking from the app stating the reason that “I was denied check in”. The booking got cancelled but the 1200 I paid didn’t got refunded. So I called the customer care again. This time I choose the option to make new booking and voila I got connected right away. (I guess all OYO representatives are free to take new booking but to not to solve if booking has already been done).

                                        On call I was given the option to book another Townhouse (Townhouse 893 The Circle Rajapark)5 km away. By this time it was already well past midnight, so I had no option but to say yes. Two things were promised to me on call. First, some will contact me in 5 mins regarding the refund for the previous booking. Second, I will get the check in for sure this time as the customer representative as confirmed it personally. I was asked to pay again the amount of Rs. 868.

                                        On reaching the new booking at around 1 am, I found the gates of hotel locked. Tried calling the number given on OYO app but it was not working. After googling and stuff found alternate number to the property and then I was denied check in again stating the same reason as before. Again I tried calling the customer care but couldn’t connect. I had to cancel it from the app and again my money didn’t got refunded.

                                        My trouble didn’t end here. After lot of talk and discussion the same property “Townhouse 893” agreed to provide a room to me but I have to make a new booking for 1500 at the reception. It was late at night so I had no other choice. It was townhouse so at-least the room would be good as I have already seen the photos and amenities they provide on the OYO app. But no. The room smell really bad. The TV was not working. The ac had no remote. No Towel. Plus the property had no kitchen while on the OYO app it said complimentary breakfast.

                                        Since today morning I have tried contacting the customer service many time and they just disconnect me every time. I had option left than to write this mail. All I want is now to get refund for both of my booking that I was not allowed the entry to. I will obviously raise this same issue on all social media and reviews platform soon and if need be file a consumer complaint.

                                        No one has contacted me yet. I have received the refund for 1 of the booking (HFTJ0351) but not the other one (WYVZ8726).
                                        I left the review for OYO app on apple store and received a response that said ""Hi, we regret the inconvenience caused to you. OYO aims to provide the best hotel booking experience to all its users. Kindly let us know your booking details to help us serve you better. ~SS " There is no way one can reply to review plus there is a link that said "contact the developer" but it just open the OYO website.

                                        Next I received a mail titled "Feedback on your interaction with our Guest Experience Manager" and of-course I went on to rate it "Extremely Dissatisfied (1)" and filled a response but guess what it just keep throwing the error "Something went wrong".

                                        I really hope OYO get their [censored] together instead of pretending that they are trying to solve the issues.
